InteliDey Completes London Marathon Following Overnight DJ Set

In a remarkable demonstration of endurance and dedication, rising dance music talent InteliDey completed the 2024 London Marathon following an overnight DJ performance at the Amazonica electronic dance music event.
InteliDey, whose real name is Somdip Dey, is also an entrepreneur, academic and the CEO of Nosh Technologies, a tech company that tackles food waste. Demonstrating his resilience both on and off the stage, the DJ undertook the marathon without prior training due to his busy schedule across academia, music and the tech industry, and his determination shined through as he crossed the finish line.
The night before the marathon InteliDey was performing at Amazonica, an event curated by London-based Italian DJ RETTILE, enchanting the audience with his unique blend of tech, progressive and melodic house music. Despite the demanding task, he left a lasting impression on attendees.

Tomorrowland 2024 Stage by Stage Lineup Could Have a Problem

Tomorrowland Festival is coming back to De Schorre in Belgium in just over two months to celebrate its 20th anniversary. Finally, the full lineup for the two-weekend extravaganza has been released. Over 800 of the biggest names in dance music are playing on 16 stages, so music fans of all kinds will be able to find something they like.
A lot of big names in music are going to be there, like David Guetta, Tiësto, Alesso, Oliver Heldens, and Don Diablo. There will also be underground techno giants like Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, and Tale Of Us, as well as returning favorites like Swedish House Mafia and Hardwell. There are, however, some worries among eager fans about the last two scenes.
Hardwell and Swedish House Mafia are both set to play on the same day on different stages during weekend 1, which means that their sets might overlap if they are placed too close to each other on the list. When two of the most-anticipated shows happen at the same time, fans would have to make the tough decision of which famous act to see.
Even though the show times haven’t been announced yet, many people are nervous about the idea of these two generations of artists playing against each other. Fans are hoping that Tomorrowland has thought about this possible problem and will schedule Hardwell and Swedish House Mafia so that people can see both of their hugely popular sets.
Weekend 2 is safe tho, with both Swedish House Mafia and Hardwell playing on the mainstage.
No matter what, the lineup is absolutely packed from top to bottom with a wide range of acts from every corner of electronic music. ACRAZE, Boris Brejcha, John Newman, Purple Disco Machine, Rezz, and Vintage Culture are just a few of the well-known artists who will be playing.
Tomorrowland’s 20th-anniversary event is set to be one for the ages. It will be themed around “LIFE” as a lead-up to 2016’s “Elixir of Life” idea. But the party planners would be smart to deal with the Hardwell/Swedish House Mafia schedule problem ahead of time to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Everything Always Announce Performance at The Gorge This Summer

The Everything Always (John Summit & Dom Dolla) performance at Coachella both weekends set the internet ablaze. However, Coachella is really good at tracking and taking down audio and visual from any performance that gets out onto the internet. So sadly, the sets in their entirety are not to be found. However, leave it to John and Dom to continue their new project in more places this year.
Yesterday, news hit that the two are going to a new place to debut their music. On September 13, 2024, Everything Always will be heading to the iconic Gorge Amphitheater in Washington. Based on how Summit’s Caverns weekend went recently, we can expect some incredible artists joining the two of them as well as activations and of course, all the scenery.

"The first time I got to play at Concourse Project was for Seismic Dance Event 2021. I flew straight from EDC Orlando and had no idea what to expect," added Kill Script. "I opened the small side stage outside in the baking heat and for the small amount of people that showed up to my set, the vibes were unmatched. One of the first times I felt one with playing techno live. Forever a memory of mine."

The night kicked off with Andre Power setting the stage on fire, preparing the crowd for a night of soulful dancing. As the sun began to set, Keinemusik took over at 7 pm, leaving Angelenos mesmerized and craving for. Keinemusik Takes Center Stage

Keinemusik stepped onto the stage and immediately commanded the attention of everyone in the park. Their unique blend of Deep House, Techno, and soulful beats had the crowd moving from the first note, and it was clear that this was going to be a performance to remember.
Keinemusik’s energy was infectious, and their passion for their music was evident in every beat they played. The crowd was completely entranced, dancing as if their lives depended on it, lost in the music and the moment. The energy in the park was electric, with every person in attendance feeling a connection to the music and to each other.

Their set was a perfect blend of old favorites and new tracks, keeping everyone engaged and dancing until the early hours of the morning. By the time they took their final bow, the crowd was left in awe, wanting more and already looking forward to the next time they could experience the group live.
About Keinemusik
Keinemusik is a group made up of five Berlin-based DJs, producers, and artists – Rampa, &ME, Adam Port, Monja, and Reznik. What does “keine musik” mean? Well, it directly translates to “no music” in German. Interesting choice to say the least.
The origin story of the group starts with Rampa and &ME’s first meeting at a recording studio in Kreuzberg where &ME was an intern. They hit it off and began meeting regularly to work on music. Rampa already knew two of the other members who would eventually make up the collective – Adam Port and Reznik. It was Rampa’s idea to form a collective. Keinemusk came to fruition in 2009 when Reznik relocated to Berlin. Shortly thereafter, they met Monja, who was bartending at the club they had a residency at. They brought her on as their creative director/designer of sorts as she is a visual artist. They formed this powerful group and the rest is history.
At the center of the collective is their record label. Their mission statement is “The spirit to find your own agenda and let nobody get in the way. The spirit of refining House and Techno off the beaten path”.
Fashion is an essential pillar of the Keinemusik brand. The group has been making merch since its conception. Just a few years after getting together, the group landed a collaboration with Nike. The group worked with Nike on their release of the Nike Air Pegasus ’89 “Berlin,” a tribute to the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. They’ve had several other notable fashion collaborations throughout the years including working with Converse and designer Native Teenage.
The group is still actively releasing music and running the festival circuit worldwide. It doesn’t seem like they’re planning on slowing down any time soon.

Purple Disco Machine & Benjamin Ingrosso’s Delightful ‘Honey Boy’

Coming off his Coachella performance, multi-platinum artist and Grammy-Award winning producer Purple Disco Machine has teamed up with Swedish hit maker Benjamin Ingrosso, global music icon Nile Rodgers, and Jamaican rising star Shenseea to release their eagerly anticipated single, ‘Honey Boy’, out now via Sony Music Germany/RCA Records.
Sweet Like Honey
‘Honey Boy’ sees the four musical powerhouses unite to create an electrifying summer anthem. The group combined the infectious grooves of classic funky Disco with modern Pop sensibilities. ‘Honey Boy’ transports listeners to a realm of pure euphoria with its rhythm, vocals and driving energy.
The single has become a firm favorite in Benjamin Ingrosso’s captivating live performances. He introduced the song as a special addition to his sets. Inspired by its underlying funk vibes, Purple Disco Machine added his Nu Disco signature touch to the track setting the stage for a collaboration of epic proportions.

Benjamin Ingrosso said: “I came up with ‘Honey Boy’ at a nightclub in Stockholm, carried away by the rhythm of a house beat that instantly had me humming along to what would become the chorus. (…) We all felt the potential the song had and that we had to add more talented influences to make it reach its full potential”. He then adds, “I reached out to Tino [Purple Disco Machine] to see if he wanted to finalise it with me, which he wanted! After having gone back and forth and crafted what we believed was the perfect foundation for the song, we reached out to Shenseea who joined in and added her touch to the record.“
Purple Disco Machine adds: “Benjamin sent the track to me late last year and I was immediately intrigued by its hook, infectious melody and overall funky vibes. I just couldn’t wait to really upgrade and highlight the disco and funk sensibilities of this one. Shenseea’s voice just fits the song perfectly and really complements Benjamin’s amazing vocal performance”. And as a piece of Trivia, he didn’t hesitate to mention Rogders: “Obviously with an artist name like mine it is pretty easy to guess that Nile Rodgers is one of my all-time heroes and someone I always dreamed of working with. Legend doesn’t really cover it! I reached out to his team and was just so thrilled when his guitar lines came back“.

We Belong Here has been uniting house music lovers on Miami's beautiful Virginia Key Beach for the past three years, joining forces with renowned artists like Lane 8, Bob Moses, Giolì & Assia and many more for their sun-kissed, breezy events.
Now, the beloved event organizer is hosting their first-ever New York City event at Central Park's Wollman Rink from October 4th to 6th. With its lush greenery and panoramic city skyline views, the famed ice skating rink has roots dating back to the 1950s and remains integral to the vibrant Central Park locale.
We Belong Here's' selection of this special location aligns with its boutique approach, choosing unique and exclusive spots to host their unforgettable events.

A portion of the events proceeds will finance paid-in-full scholarships for economically underprivileged city residents to attend Scratch Academy, according to a press release. Founded by Jam Master Jay, the late DJ of the legendary hip-hop group Run-DMC, the school now helps aspiring musicians learn key skills to kick off their careers in music.
"Community festivals like these bring people together, fostering belonging, cultural exchange and community ties. It creates new opportunities and enriches the lives of our diverse city for generations to come," said NYC Parks Manhattan Borough Commissioner Tricia Shimamura. "This festival will not only provide an unforgettable experience for New Yorkers in an inclusive environment but also help underprivileged city residents attend Scratch Academy, where they can learn performance and business skills for a music career!"

Lovers & Friends Festival 2024 Canceled Just Hours Before Kickoff

Less than a day away from its grand opening, the Lovers & Friends Festival 2024 was abruptly canceled. This was due to severe weather warnings. Set to begin at noon in the vibrant city of Las Vegas, the festival promised an unforgettable experience. One with an iconic lineup including Usher, Janet Jackson, Alicia Keys, and the Backstreet Boys. However, the dream event for many millennials turned into a nightmare as organizers announced the cancellation early Saturday morning. The cancellation cited safety concerns over the impending “dangerous weather.”
Global Disappointment Amidst Nature’s Fury
The news has left thousands of music enthusiasts from around the globe in dismay, many of whom had already arrived in Las Vegas, ready to relive the hits of the early 2000s. The festival’s rich roster featured legends like Mary J. Blige, Gwen Stefani, Nas, and Snoop Dogg, promising a day of nostalgic beats and rhythmic bliss. Unfortunately, this year’s edition seems to echo the ill-fated beginnings of the festival in 2022, which was also cut short under distressing circumstances.
A History of Weather-Induced Letdowns in Vegas
Las Vegas, no stranger to weather-related disruptions at large-scale events, has seen its fair share of cancellations. From the Electric Daisy Carnival’s main stage shutdown in 2019 to the Day N Vegas festival’s cancellation due to extreme heat in 2022, the city has witnessed several events being derailed by nature’s unpredictability. Notably, Adele’s last-minute residency postponement in 2022 added to the list of unexpected changes that fans have had to endure.
What’s Next?
As disappointment looms large, the organizers have assured that all ticket purchases through Front Gate Tickets will be refunded within the next 30 days. Although this provides a small solace to the fans, the heartbreak of a missed musical reunion lingers. Third Party unveil “Believe,” Martin Garrix ID from Ultra Miami

With the release of Third Party‘s new song “Believe,” festival season just got a huge booster shot.
Third Party wanted to make a happy, festival-ready hit, and that’s where the idea for “Believe” came from. Even though the beats were heavy and the melodies were beautiful, they knew that the instrumental needed a great singer to take it to a whole new level.
Here come Raffie and Madeline, two incredibly skilled singers and songwriters. The two wrote the song’s original uplifting vocal hook and words, drawing on feelings of hope, determination, and self-belief. Their performances in the studio were great for the upbeat vibe Third Party was going for.
But the members of Third Party are unwavering perfectionists who won’t be happy with their work until it has all the energy and feeling they can get out of it. The singers Raffie and Madeline were great, but they knew they needed one more voice—one that could cut through any concert sound system and hit music fans right in the heart.
Nuala was the only person who could answer. The singer’s raw power and intense performance can’t be beat. Third Party looped her into the session, and she gave a fiery performance that went well with what Raffie and Madeline had already done. The emotional impact of Nuala’s input was amplified by its catchy nature.
Martin Garrix played the first listen of “Believe” at the Ultra Miami set, giving fans a sneak peek at the new single. The song quickly sent the crowd crazy.
The Ultra tease and months of waiting paid off, and now “Believe” is here as a summer smash hit for all time.

From Friday 27 to Sunday 29th of September, Anastasia Kristensen, Altin Gün, Cassy, Colin Benders, Douglas Firs, Shakedown Tim & The Rhythm Revue and Willem, among others will be a part of proceedings for the second edition of Haarlem Vinyl Festival. Spread across the idyllic city of Haarlem, just 20 minutes outside of Amsterdam, Haarlem Vinyl Festival expects to welcome a total of at least 25,000 visitors to the second edition of the world’s first multi-day vinyl festival.
Vinyl enthusiasts from all over the world will return to Haarlem for the second edition of the Haarlem Vinyl Festival in September. During the three-day vinyl culture program, all aspects of vinyl are discussed from production and manufacturing to marketing, art, design, history and more. In addition to the extensive day and night music and art program, the program includes the Making Vinyl conference, Guided Tours at Europe’s largest pressing plant Record Industry and a large, freely accessible open-air record fair – in collaboration with Record Planet – where visitors can find old and new gems. New in this year’s program is the independent label market at PHIL.

The day program at the main festival location PHIL is shaping up nicely and features national legends like Urban Dance Squad’s frontman Rudeboy alongside international selectors like Cassy talking about their favorite records. Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson and Tim Bowness will host a live version of The Album Years podcast, whereas popular music academic Karlyn King will talk about the modern-day fan experience and the gendering of vinyl.

A celebration of vinyl culture in more than 30 locations
The Haarlem Vinyl Festival is built around the celebration of recorded music, sound experience and the love for vinyl. For three days and nights, the historical city of Haarlem is the canvas for all the stories around vinyl, with programs for all generations in more than 30 locations.

Wavedash Are Asking Fans to Cover Their Smartphone Cameras During Upcoming Tour

Known for their innovation, Wavedash want to capture the special feelings found in spontaneous moments on tour.
Instead of heavily preparing a live show to showcase their brand-new mixtape Tempo, the trio is instead branding their upcoming tour as a series of parties. They want the experience to be meaningful and personal, something that pre-planned sets simply can't capture in the same way as reading a crowd can. 
The format of Wavedash's sets will change nightly, according to the group. With no support announced, they'll perform alongside friends at a number of the events and play open-to-close at others.
Perhaps most importantly, they want each show to remain a surprise. To help facilitate that approach, they're asking fans to cover their smartphone cameras with stickers blazoning the phrase, "Social media? No thanks."

G-REX and Sully Return to Wakaan for Mind-Melting "Entropy" EP

There's always something special about close friends connecting in the studio. G-REX and Sully have found that special connection on their mind-melting collaborative EP Entropy, arriving by way of Wakaan.
Entropy is a powerhouse of sound design bolstered by the veteran experience brought by both producers. Both tracks on the EP are filled to the brim with experimental sounds that are ready to shake any festival stage to its core.
