Dada Life are back with a new single on a new label, and we are here for it. The iconic Swedish duo just released “Take Me Into Space” along with upcoming Chinese producer DEXTER KING. “Take Me Into Space” will do just that as Dada Life foray into the big room techno scene with this huge new track. This track has all the hallmarks of the big room techno that has been taking over; a massive kick drum, a pulsating bassline, and those light melodic synths that remind you, you’re at a festival.
“Take Me Into Space” also marks Dada Life’s first release on a different label since they founded their own Crash & Smile sub-label. This time, they’ve released their first ever track on Monstercat, a label well known for stepping outside of the mainstream and curating a variety of different sounds. As the press release I received for this song pointed out, Dada Life rarely do collabs (which seems impossible in modern dance music), so “Take Me Into Space” is a rare treat.
As Olle and Stefan put it, “The aim with this song was to make something that could shatter the Earth and lift you to the sky like a rocket, because when that happens, you can’t stop smiling.”
DEXTER KING adds, “If life is as short as a song, we shall waste no time on earth.”
Check out the latest from Dada Life & DEXTER KING, “Take Me Into Space” out now on Monstercat.

Afrojack and one of his main proteges, Chico Rose, are back with another infectious house single, “Alone Again.” Showing off their production versatility, “Alone Again” is a catchy-as-hell house track with a bouncy bassline during the drop. “Alone Again” also features top notch vocals from Mougleta that everyone can relate too.
The two Dutch DJs first collaborated back in 2016 on “The Great Escape” when Chico was going by Ravitez. The two have been close collaborators ever since. After rebranding as Chico Rose, he and Afrojack released “The Bass” in 2019, a towering festival anthem that still goes hard in Afrojack’s sets. “Alone Again” also marks the first time that Chico Rose has been the main artist on a collab between him and Afrojack.

Earlier this week, ILLENIUM announced his fifth album, the self-titled ILLENIUM, would be dropping in April. It didn’t take long before he dropped his next single, as well, “Luv Me A Little” with Nina Nesbitt.
After saying that he’s going back to exploring his “original musical aspirations” with this album, “Luv Me A Little” is definitely that classic ILLENIUM sound with melodic vocals, a melodic bass sound, as well as second drop that’s a bit heavier.

The rivalry between Dillon Francis and DJ Hanzel grows with each passing day, especially since, according to their Twitter exchanges, it seems Dillon forced Hanzel’s hands into releasing his album potentially a bit earlier than he’d hoped. (Of course, this is all in good fun, right?)
DJ Hanzel, the house alias of Dillon, has been releasing music for years as a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek alter ego. Finally, the project’s debut album anti everything has dropped on streaming services after striking up a deal with Create Music Group this past December.
“Since time immemorial, peasants, rubes and all-around losers have attempted, but never achieved, going ‘ONE DEEPER,'” Hanzel said. “In this rich tradition, we bear witness to Dillon Francis falling short of my sublime depth. Like some kind of musical gladiator, I have slayed my inferior rival Dillon Francis, and he must now accept his defeat and with it, his new moniker I have bestowed upon him: Der Pottyman. Of course I will go on to celebrate joining the Create Music family, and I will do so with dignity and grace, while Der Pottyman languishes in artistic banality. For it is truly an honor for me to embark on a new journey going one deeper with the amazing team at Create Music Group.”
Unfortunately, the album only clocks in at just under 30 minutes with just 8 tracks. That being said, they’re all hits. Check out the album below!

Debuting their project at EDC Las Vegas in 2018, Birthdayy Partyy has since become regulars in the Midwest festival circuit. This energetic duo has shocked massive crowds with performances at Spring Awakening, North Coast Music Festival, EDC Orlando, and other prime venues.
Now, the bros are back with a thundering EP titled ‘Classiv V Future’, showcasing a strong juxtaposition of classic house and electronic music elements with modern production techniques and sounds.
“Revival” kicks off the EP with a gritty bass house sound, a mix between Mord Fustang and Joyride, joined by vocalist Jenni Rudolph who provides an ethereal performance on top. What follows is the title track, which overflows with bass shattering sounds and spine tingling dubstep energy that bring the headbanging vibes to the fullest.Next up is “Handle Ya Business”, a sizzling drum & bass tune that features invigorating rhymes from revered artist Dread MC. The EP closes out with “Let Go”, a fun and funky house anthem that showcases the tantalizing vocals of LeSage.Williams.
We also had a chance to chat with the guys about this EP and what’s next for them. Enjoy!
How long has this EP been in the works?
This EP has been in the works for about a year and a half. We’ve worked on other music in that time as well, but getting all the right pieces in place for this EP, including vocalists, a 3d artist, etc took a lot longer than expected. We think the time was well spent, because this EP turned out fantastic.
What are some of the key messages you hope listeners get out of this EP?
This is our first EP, celebrating 5 years of the Birthdayy Partyy project. The whole concept of the project since its outset is the melding of elements of music we grew up on with what we see as the current and future sounds of electronic music. Classic techniques like sampling in specific ways to emulate the technology available when electronic music was first rising to prominence, sounds from old drum machines and analog synths, and pulling from the city of Chicago’s rich history as the birthplace of house music, while using more modern production techniques and sounds, like the heavy processing and interesting sound design of dubstep and drum and bass, to complement them is where we’ve found our vibe. Its all about the juxtaposition of new and old, timeless and right-now, hence the name Classic V Future
Its also kind of a turning point for us, touching on the sound of our musical direction going forward, while also leaning on what’s gotten us this far. We’ve been slowly stripping things back as we’ve gotten better as producers, and I think we’ve really honed in on what we as a duo want to do. This is really the first step we’re taking with that kind of confidence.
Who are some artists that are inspiring you right now?
Probably our biggest inspirations right now are Knock2 and ISOXO. Musically, they’re obviously incredible, and we’re loving that they’re getting the attention they deserve. But there’s more to the reason why they’re inspiring us so much right now than just their music. They have a level of camaraderie and cooperation with each other that we find extremely inspiring. They’re always working with each other, and even remixed each other’s EP’s and released them together. Having supportive peers in the music industry helps so much, but these guys took it to a completely different level. That’s basically how it is working with your twin brother, so we feel like they would kind of “get us’ in that sense.
We’ve also been really inspired by a lot of drum and bass. We’ve been big fans of the genre since we were 22 or 23, driving home to our parents house after staying out way too late at a club, and the only thing that would keep us awake that late was some good ol’ DnB. The US is having a bit of a resurgence of the genre too, so we’ve gotten to finally see some of our favorite acts of the genre live. Its also been really cool to watch our friend CLB get the kind of exposure he has within the international DnB community. He was making breaks when met, and he’s come so far that his sound pretty regularly inspires us, and there’s really no cooler feeling than getting inspired by your friends.
Speaking of friends that are also some of our biggest inspirations right now, Odd Mob has been absolutely slaying it and there’s no way he’s slowing down at all. he spent a few extra days with us in Chicago when he played here at Spybar, and we hammered out a track with him while he was here that we’re really excited about.
What’s on the horizon for you guys in 2023?
We’re going to be hosting a remix competition for the EP, then we have our yearly event Birthdayy Partyy’s Birthday Party coming up in March, which we think we finally have a perfect venue for the “boiler room style” 360 setup we’ve always wanted for this shindig. There’s really nothing like playing a set IN the crowd instead of in front of it on a stage. We’ve got tons of music coming as well. I think we have about 40 tracks in the vault currently, ranging from “almost playable and need a test with a live audience” to “completely finished and waiting on label contracts”, so its going to be a VERY busy year for us. Come along for the ride, and let’s Partyy!

Every artist produces music for a reason. Some make music to express themselves, others because it’s an innate talent, and others want to impact people through their music. Music enthusiasts are always looking out for artists who can serve them refreshing and inspiring songs. They want to listen to songs that resonate with their experiences. Therefore, for an artist to remain relevant in the music industry today, they have to produce music not only to achieve their personal goals but to act as an inspiration to their fans. Raghav Lama is an excellent example of an artist who makes music intending to impact society.
Lama is a 22-year-old sensational and talented Indian artist and producer. He makes music in the melodic base and future bass realm. Consistency is the ultimate key to success. Artists often lose touch with their audience by releasing songs and disappearing. Lama has discovered this vital asset and has managed to keep his fans engaged by releasing hit after hit consistently. Some of the singles he’s produced include “Where Do We Go,” “Over Again,” “Where We Were,” and “Hopeful Lie.”
ILLENIUM is a well-renowned artist who has inspired Lama’s journey in the music industry. Through his songs, ILLENIUM shares his story and wants to have an impact on the listeners. Lama desired to make an impact on people and endeavored to learn how to make and produce music. When he was nine months into his music production journey, he got his first single, “Where Do We Go,” signed by his dream record label, and this helped him take his first step in the music industry.

Every artist’s dream is to collaborate with renowned artists in the industry. A chance to do such collaborations is a huge step toward an artist’s success. Lama had always dreamt of being a part of MrSuicideSheep, and he recently has had the opportunity to work with them and has released two singles. He considers this his most significant achievement yet and an inspiration to soar high in his musical journey. Lama has also been able to amass a vast audience of fans, and last year he garnered over 1.3 million streams on Spotify.
But Lama has faced several challenges in his musical career. He says the most significant hurdle he has faced was trying to manage his studies and, at the same time, concentrate on growing his music career. He found it exhausting and decided to drop out of school, a move that wasn’t exactly seen in a good light in the academically-driven environment he lived in. However, his parents have supported his decisions and have
since been by his side in every achievement. His other challenge is getting through creative blocks. Lama confesses that he sometimes cannot come up with original ideas for tracks, but he overcomes this obstacle by reminding himself why he started making music.
Lama says it is okay to make mistakes in your quest for success. Mistakes are a chance for you to know where you are failing and an opportunity to change your trajectory. Additionally, he believes opportunities are not given but grabbed, and only those who are determined enough can get hold of them.
In the coming years, Lama wants to create a more significant impact on society through his songs. He aspires to produce more tracks that resonate with people’s experiences and be the reason they want to hold on in life. Lama also envisions himself performing live behind the decks and living his dream.

Dubbed the most luxurious city in the world, Dubai stands out as the ultimate city formost travelers and ravers. The city is widely known for its architectural marvel alongwith the buzzing culture. Dubai stands out for its thrilling entertainment experience that draws revelers worldwide. The city’s entertainment scene is also home to some notable home-made talents such as DJ Bliss, who has risen from local clubs to international
fame.
DJ Bliss is an innately gifted Dubai-based DJ, producer, and TV presenter taking over the Emirates entertainment industry. He is also a renowned radio personality, public figure, and Netflix reality TV star making appearances on numerous shows. DJ Bliss shares an inspiring story of rising from the bottom playing at local clubs to international fame. He started as the only Emirati-born DJ playing the English genre and
rose to establish his brand as the biggest and most successful in his field in Dubai. DJ Bliss also made headlines as the first Emirati DJ and artist to have a number 1 album, Made In Dubai on iTunes. He also established an extensive industry network signing with major multinational music companies such as BMG and Universal Music, the world’s largest global music company. DJ Bliss also takes pride in working with top global talents such as Wylef Jean, a song collaboration with Shaggy, and being the main lead on Dubai Bling, a Netflix reality show.

However, trying to make it as an independent Emirati DJ playing English genre music was challenging. The market is largely saturated with numerous imported talents, and it took something special to mark his sport in the game. But to DJ Bliss, every challenge is an opportunity to learn and enhance your craft and become a better version of yourself. He also believes it was the most significant part of his success as it helped him overcome this and many other challenges to find his own style and distinguish himself
from others.
Though the entertainment industry receives hundreds of new talents daily, DJ Bliss
believes there is still space for everyone. Believe in your potential, go after what you
love, and never settle for less. You also have always to be persistent and consistent.
‘Do whatever you love, do it hard, and push yourself to the limit’ he says. If you truly
want it, you will get it. You need to put in the work and the hours. More importantly,
never give up.
DJ Bliss wants to take his craft to the international stage by doing worldwide tours and festivals. To him, the mission is to continue waving the Dubai and UAE flag. ‘I want to be remembered as the first Emirati DJ to go international and spread the talent we have over here’ he adds. DJ Bliss also wants to inspire and encourage more DJing talents from the UAE to live their dream. With this, the sensational DJ is confident of overturning the current practice where the region is known for importing talents to being the one that exports talents to other regions.

ILLENIUM has just announced his fifth album will be dropping this year, April 28. ILLENIUM will be his self-titled album, something of a milestone for many artists, or sometimes their debut. Through the years, since his first album in 2016, he’s continued to evolve his sound and now we’re going to get something pretty special.
“To me, a self titled album is the core sound of who I am,” ILLENIUM wrote in a post announcing the release. “I see this album and itss story as a prequel to the Trilogy, where I get to explore my original musical inspirations and blend something that truly feels fresh. It’s made to be played live, with a band, and we’re bringing it on a world tour this summer/fall. I’ll announce tour dates later this week! Thank you all so so so much for your love and continued support and for letting me create whatever I want. Can’t waitttt!!”
Stay tuned for more info as it comes.

Diplo began releasing music as Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley, his alt-country project, back in 2019 beginning with “So Long” featuring Cam. Since then, he’s released a full album with collaborators including Morgan Wallen, Zac Brown, Julia Michaels, Ben Burgess, and more, and also played Stagecoach Festival.
This past Friday, Diplo returned a new track, “Wasted,” featuring Kodak Black and Koe Wetzel, and an accompanying video directed by long-time collaborator Austin Peters, who directed the documentary Give Me Future about Major Lazer’s historic 2016 concert that drew 400,000 fans to Havana, Cuba.
“Wasted” marks Diplo’s first new country music since 2020’s debut album, Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley Chapter 1: Snake Oil. Additionally, Diplo will bring Thomas Wesley to Stagecoach for the third time, returning this year for his annual “Late Night in Palomino” festival closer and curating his own stage, Diplo’s HonkyTonk, throughout the weekend.
Check out the video for “Wasted” below.

A club-focused fervor vibrates throughout Trucco’s work. The force of nature of the work makes sense, given his emphasis on healthiness and on showing love for his environment. Wherever he has been, either Santiago, Chile, or his current locale in Los Angeles, California, he’s paid heed to this creed. As a result, much of his output virtually commands the audience to get up on the dancefloor and lose themselves in the music. This sort of
thing is gradually becoming an experience worth talking about, much like DJ Harvey’s LA warehouse marathons.

Presentation matters to someone who started in visual media, both in photoshoots and television, and he brings it. The performances he’s given are highlights, and the things pined over. Honestly, his entire discography has this yearning, fire, and passion that differentiates it from the rest. Vocals on his tracks highlight his baritone, a comforting, soothing, yet still commanding thing. What shows in his production is someone not afraid to
cross-mingle genres, to put that four-to-the-floor ethos within a poppier template. Already he’s had a few parties set up to celebrate everything coming down the pike, and he’s been busy. For 2023 multiple singles are
slated for release, and considering how long he’s been doing this, they will be absolute bangers. Done with verve energy that captures the club’s welcoming presence, Trucco is just getting started.

Independent Artist on the Rise John Michael Howell is currently performing at a very high level. This young man is only a few short moments away from tremendous fame and money as he continues to release hit after hit.
John Michael is regarded as one of the most talented musicians to come out of his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. In 2022, he achieved a level of success that, up until that point, he had only fantasized about. He racked up approximately 7 million streams through Spotify alone. He has never been a conventional artist and defies classification by refusing to be pigeonholed. He is influenced in part by alternative music, pop rock, and even electronic dance music.
Will John Michael release any other tracks that are influenced by electronic dance music? It’s possible, but you’ll want to keep up with developments so you don’t fall behind.
