As we approach EDC Las Vegas 2024, let’s rewind the clock and take a look at this year’s lineup compared to that of 2014, ten years prior. By contrasting the lineups from 2014 and the upcoming 2024 edition, we get a glimpse into how the scene and music taste has changed over the years.
Back in 2014, EDC Vegas hosted a staggering lineup spanning hundreds of artists across the electronic music spectrum. While stacked with the biggest mainstream EDM names at the time like Avicii, Tiësto, Calvin Harris, and Hardwell, the 2014 bill featured an incredibly diverse mix of acts. From heavy hitters like Bingo Players, Showtek, and Knife Party repping electro house to underground legends like Green Velvet, Art Department, and Justin Martin flying the tech house flag, EDC‘s 2014 lineup was more electro house heavy which was indictive of the tastes of the time. Trance was well-represented (and still continues to be represented) by the likes of Armin van Buuren, Infected Mushroom, and Dash Berlin, while bass music enthusiasts could catch sets from 12th Planet, Downlink, and the then-emerging Destroid project.
Fast forward to 2024 and this diversity remains, though the genres dominating the bill have clearly shifted. Techno and drum & bass have surged in popularity, with heavy hitters like Adam Beyer, Nicole Moudaber, Amelie Lens, Dimension, and Wilkinson earning top billings. The hard dance domain also maintains its EDC presence through artists like Da Tweekaz, Sub Zero Project, and Lil Texas.
Trance still holds a strong foothold in 2024, as veterans like Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila, and Andrew Rayel are joined by a new generation including AVIRA.
While the shifting tides of electronic music have touched all corners of the lineup, perhaps the most notable evolution is the rise of the back-to-back (B2B) set as a festival staple. Where they were a relative rarity in 2014, B2B performances are now a core draw, with marquee pairings like Carl Cox B2B Nicole Moudaber, John Summit B2B Green Velvet, and Subtronics B2B Level Up highlighting the 2024 bill.
Amid this sea of change, a few core names have remained fixtures, bridging the gap between the two eras. EDC Vegas stalwarts like Steve Aoki, Fedde Le Grand, Armin van Buuren, Infected Mushroom, Carl Cox, and Darren Styles graced the lineup in both 2014 and 2024 – a testament to their lasting relevance and the festival’s continued ability to attract the biggest artists in the game.
As the popularity of electronic music continues to explode globally, so too has the star power gracing the annual EDC Vegas pilgrimage.

MADE Festival has announced its full lineup as it reaches an incredible 10-year milestone as the biggest and best music and arts festival in the West Midlands. Now bringing all acts together for one almighty birthday party from midday to 11pm on Saturday 3rd August in The Digbeth Triangle in the heart of Birmingham, MADE’s 10th delivers a mouthwatering lineup for all fans of drum & bass, bass, UK rap, garage, house, disco and more. Midlands party people can explore the huge, multi-venue inner city, 10-stage site to enjoy headline sets from Bru-C, Dizzee Rascal, and Bou, and an array of talent including Ewan McVicar, K Motionz, Holy Goof B2B TS7, Jaguar Skills, Skepsis, A Little Sound, Window Kid, 24hr Garage Girls, 4AM Kru, Serum, La La, General Levy, Issey Cross, DJ Q and many more. Sign-ups are open and tickets go on sale at 10am on Tuesday from www.made-festival.co.uk. This is Birmingham’s biggest party of the summer.
Independent promoters, Weird Science, run club events for over 150,000 people annually and MADE Festival began as their passion project in the creative hub of Digbeth. The intention was to provide a platform for local artists and an opportunity for local businesses. MADE expanded and outgrew Digbeth’s multitude of evolving spaces, moving across the city in 2018 to the greenfield site of Perry Park, where 20,000 festival fans helped put MADE firmly on the national map. After enforced moves to Sandwell Valley, then Wolverhampton Racecourse, MADE Festival made a triumphant return to its spiritual home of The Digbeth Triangle in 2023 and laid the foundations to celebrate 10 years this summer.
Saturday 3rd August sees the perpetually rising star and multi-platinum-selling MC and rapper, Bru-C take over the MADE Stage. With a slew of underground cuts and crossover bangers including his UK top 15 smash ‘No Excuses’ and Nathan Dawe collab ‘Oh Baby’, Bru-C drew huge crowds at his last MADE appearance in 2022 and earned his invite back to headline the 10th edition.
BRIT, MOBO and Mercury Prize-winning MC and rapper, Dizzee Rascal is another MADE fave, tearing it up on his last appearance in 2018 for the 5th edition of the festival. Dizzee led the way for generations of UK rap scoring 5 UK Top 10 albums, 5 UK no.1 singles including ‘Dance Wiv Me’, ‘Holiday’ and possibly the biggest festival tune of all time ‘Bonkers’. He remains as relevant as ever with new album ‘Don’t Take It Personal’ crashing into the charts this year.
Trailblazing star of drum & bass, Bou, steps up to MADE main stage and undoubtedly deserves his slot. With one of the biggest tracks of the year ‘Baddadan’ with Chase & Status to his name, a major label deal, and a slew of massive DJ sets under his belt, Bou can confidently stake a claim as D&B’s next-gen superstar. His big USA / Canada tour will warm him up, just in time to get MADE crowds bouncing.
The MADE Stage also sees quality garage vibes from 24hr Garage Girls, infectious bars from Bru-C collaborator Window Kid, UK jungle from 4AM Kru, sweet vocals from breakout ‘Bittersweet Goodbye’ star Issey Cross, and more.
The house heads are fully catered for on the Raw Stage with in-demand talent, Ewan McVicar dropping a funked-up headline set, while La La is sure to up the tempo and show why she’s recently delivered mixes for Feel My Bicep, Boiler Room, and Radio 1. Look out for some other big artist announcements coming soon for this stage.
Weird Science presents a stage full of drum & bass stars, hosted by Inja, SP:MC, IC3, Carasel, and Comma Dee. Birmingham’s fast rising star K-Motionz headlines as one of the genre’s most exciting artists, in high demand across the globe. His productions including ‘Only You’, ‘High Note’ and last year’s banger ‘Vino Bandit’ have seen his stock rise even higher. Serum is ⅓ of Kings Of The Rollers and knows how to get a crowd jumping. He’ll be dropping his summer anthem ‘Spray Tan’ for the MADE massive. DJ and vocalist A Little Sound is carving her own lane in D&B and going from strength to strength. She lands at MADE as part of a packed summer schedule. Drum & bass legends Dillinja and Randall step up for a special MADE 10th Anniversary B2B set, while rising star Kara shows she deserves her Drum & Bass Award for Best Female Producer.
The 02:31 Stage sees another very special B2B, this time between the mighty Holy Goof and TS7. Expect major sonic fireworks. Skepsis performs, continuing his rise after slamming into the UK charts with ‘Rave Out’ and ‘Green And Gold’. This stage is guaranteed to be jumping as DJ Q, Girls Next Door, and Burga Boy all line up for turntable duty.
A real treat is the House Of Legends & Thirty Present Fish Tales Stage where some bonafide legends of the scene are ready to showcase their skills. Bringing the positive vibes from TikTok, Fish56Octagon plays alongside hard dance pioneer Fergie for a world exclusive back to back set. Very special guest Jaguar Skills brings his ‘tribute to The Prodigy’ set to MADE – this one should not be missed. When Utah Saints step up to the decks the crowds know that something good is going to happen. Plump DJs land at MADE with their unique brand of beats and breaks mixing old school with the new.
There’s plenty more jungle and D&B as RCE Presents 10 Years Of Jungle Cakes. Headlining this stage is the one and only General Levy who never disappoints. Another highlight is the 10 year B2B special – Deekline B2B Ed Solo B2B Benny Page. This trio guarantees the highest quality tune selection. Special guest Bryan Gee will dig deep into his coveted record collection to drop a massive jungle set.
MADE Festival continues to heavily support local promoters and talent, providing opportunities for stage takeovers and connections to local clubbers. The 10th edition of MADE sees a range of styles and genres with something to get everyone dancing. The 2Tekky x Serious Selectas Stage brings a host of UKG, wobbling basslines, and breakbeat NRG. There’s a mix of house, tech, and minimal goodness at the CNTRL x ESVDRA x SHUBZ Stage, while the RE:CORD x Discotech Stage takes an underground trip into house. Duck DnB x Selecta bring some scorching drum & bass with a selection of up and coming local stars.
Digbeth Dining Club are on hand to ensure a quality selection of delicious food options from local traders, and expect some seriously talented graffiti artists from the region to be on hand to create art live throughout the day.
MADE Festival knows better than anyone how to make the most of The Digbeth Triangle’s unique mix of outdoor and indoor spaces. From midday through to 11pm, the whole area will be alive with music, arts and the sound of people having a good time. MADE Festival turns 10 and everything is ready for the celebration of a decade.

Maslow Unknown · PREMIERE: Laesh – Saint Denis Saloon [DW022] Hailing from Northern Italy, not too far from Venice, Alessio began his love of music at the age of 14 with his trusty CD Walkman. In his exploratory years in the world of music, he was intuitively guided to the likes of; The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, The Knife, Royksopp, Fluke, Photek, Underworld, Moby, Daft Punk and also a range of Hip Hop artists, such as; Tupac, Dre, Eminem, The Fugees, Coolio and some Italian rappers such as Neffa and Frankie HI NRG.
Inspired by his love of such an eclectic range of music he began by producing house music before venturing into other styles. After 15 years of making music, his current catalogue of music is nothing short of supreme. It’s hard to find a track that wouldn’t make it into a music lover’s collection. It is clear he takes his craft seriously as he explains “Every day I study and try to improve my skills”. His forte is the highest quality house music that can wander along the lines of disco house, dubby techno and either bumpin’ detroit or Chicago house but whatever the iteration, the guarantee is that he has the fix for what the dancefloor needs. This is addictive club music.
Not just a top-notch underground producer, Laesh is a veteran DJ having played throughout Italy and abroad – a highlight of his playing Vice Club in Tunisia, “The crowd there was the most energetic I had ever seen which empowered me to play a diverse variety of music, from classic to raw and acid house to lots of promo and my unreleased stuff”.
As a clubber and music fan you’ll find him at his favourite Dimensions Festival in Croatia, catch him dancing to the likes of Theo Parrish, Maurice Fulton and Moodymann – artists that he also takes inspiration from.
Saint Denis Saloon is a nod to a very popular Playstation game, being a gamer and finding inspiration in games, Laesh has created an unlikely crossover of the Wild West of America and some modern peak-time dancefloor music – yeehaa!!!

A fan recorded the whole three-hour Eric Prydz b2b Anyma set on tape. Thank goodness we can experience the magic. Coachella was a big deal for Eric Prydz and Anyma. It was the first time ever that they played right after each other. It took place at the new Quasar stage at the festival. The two big names in electronic music mixed their well-known tracks together. The famous “HOLO” show by Prydz and Anyma’s “Genesys” images came together. It turned out to be a unique audiovisual trip.
Prydz started things off. To start, he did his usual “Liam” opening. After that, the Swedish DJ and artist put out all of his different alias projects. Old favorites like “Kings of Prydzopolis” and “Moody Tuesdays” were played. IDs that people wanted got the crowd excited.

AAnyma added his melodic dance sound. Big songs like his version of “Last Night” went crazy. There was a sense that the two were in sync with each other. The sounds and styles of each worked perfectly with the others. It kept building up energy.
It was a mesmerizing sight to see. The hologram lasers from Prydz and Anyma’s fractal spheres worked together. Even a “HoloGenesys” hybrid output was shown for the first time. “Eternity” and “Proper Education” were mixed together in a way that made my mind melt.
Prydz and Anyma made the event religious. The dance floor moved as if it were one body. A lot of new versions of old songs like “Somebody’s Watching Me” came out.
A roar shook the building when it was over after three hours. This “HoloGenesys” hint show gave hints of something bigger while it was over.
The whole show is watchable below. Enjoy the magic

As time goes by, some songs become timeless classics. Even more when artists reimagine different emotions and moods. This is the case with Eynka‘s ‘Beyond Us‘. It wasn’t long until Swiss Electronic duo Adriatique made their own renditions of the track. They amped it up a notch when they immortalized their rendition at the Hatshepsut Temple in Egypt last year for Cercle. Finally, we’re delighted to get an even more magical version of the track, brought to you by Deep House Parisian Icon Alex Wann.
‘Beyond Us’ (Hatshepsut Version Alex Wann Remix)
How do you remaster and refresh a track that has so much influence and power, you may ask? Well, it seems like Alex Wann found the right formula for his ‘Beyond Us’ remix. From Eynka’s melodic touch, to Adriatique’s deeper and darker undertones, Wann manages to deliver an ethereal track with powerful afro elements. The percussion calls out to your ancestors, and the groove represents the vast deserts phenomenally. After a successful run with his Kelis’ ‘Milkshake’ Remix, the producer continues to influence the world around him.
A star in the rise, Alex has received the support from House legends Keinemusik, Pete Tong, Swedish House Mafia, Diplo, and Blond:ish. This remix furtherly proves his ability to produce with different elements and styles, such as Adriatique’s unique sounds. Earlier this year he embarked in a North American tour, visiting major musical capitals such as Miami, New York, Toronto, San Francisco, and Montreal. Next Up, Alex Wann will make his rounds around Ibiza, Milan, Dubai, and La Bourget.
Watch out for Alex Wann this summer! He will most likely reign supreme with this delicious version of ‘Beyond Us’.

After an incredible year of music in 2023 which saw him release 7 new tracks in total, Mazro took a short time away from our new music feeds to step back into the studio and work on adding more quality tracks to his catalog. And that’s exactly what he has done this weekend with the release of ‘Hold Me Tight’.
After previously showcasing his talents within multiple genres and styles such as progressive house and future house, Mazro steps into the world of the super viral style of stutter house. Not one to leave us disappointed, Mazro‘s take on this style is yet more proof of the talent that he holds as an artist.
As mentioned, ‘Hold Me Tight’ is a wonderful piece of stutter house, with elegant melodies, deep synths, and luscious vocals all coming together under the same roof. The catchy and memorable lyrics that are delivered fantastically make this one an instant favorite but the synth and sample work is where this one really shines with rhythmic and groovy elements carrying the energy in the most perfect way.

‘Nothing Ever Changes‘ by Vintage Culture is an originally captivating track that weaves together ethereal vocals and pulsating rhythms.
The song opens with a rhythmic foundation, carried forward by ambient, momentum-building drum patterns. UK-based producer, singer, and songwriter MAGNUS lends his airy vocals seamlessly unfolding into the evolving soundscape. MAGNUS’ voice adds emotional depth, dialing in your ears from the start.
The repeated lines emphasize a sense of resignation and acceptance of a reality where nothing ever truly evolves. The reference to reading all the pages could symbolize seeking answers or understanding without finding a resolution, leading to a continued sense of disillusionment.

The collaboration between Vintage Culture and MAGNUS reflects their shared vision. Their synergy results in a track that speaks to universal emotions.
You can now listen to the high-octane remix from Camelphat. It packs a little more punch on the leads and delivers an additional powerful bass and kick to the drop.
‘Nothing Ever Changes’ is a glimpse into Vintage Culture’s forthcoming debut album, Promised Land, set for release on May 24, 2024. This LP promises to showcase Vintage Culture’s versatility as a producer and DJ, blending diverse talents and genres into a cohesive musical journey.

It's a big moment for salute, who is unfurling a brand-new chapter after announcing his debut album, TRUE MAGIC.
The surging UK producer also unveiled a shimmering new single, "saving flowers" with Rina Sawayama. Driven by their euphoric and irresistible dance production, the stunning track highlights their newfound commitment to songwriting and collaboration, a "pop approach" that they said helped propel TRUE MAGIC.
"I took a pop approach to the record," salute said in a statement. "I went in quite blindly just with some loops and ideas but there’s much more of a focus on songwriting and collaboration on this album. One thing I’m really proud of is how organic the work with the collaborators is. I’ve managed to get such a breadth of amazing people on the record."
The dazzling single comes alongside a mesmerizing music video that reinforces the album’s visual concepts and frenetic sonics, drawing inspiration from old Japanese car adverts.

Earlier this year, OMNOM and Odd Mob unveiled their collaborative project, HYPERBEAM. Now, following a series of successful collaborations, they've returned to Insomniac Records with their debut EP, The Unexplained.
Drawing from house and minimal tech influences, the record delivers a powerful blend of club-ready beats and forward-thinking sound design. It features previously released singles "Mind Awake, Body Asleep" and "All Day, All Night," and introduces two new songs, "Okay Fine" and "Reading My Mind (feat. Sarah de Warren)."
Each otherworldly track not only rolls with infectious grooves, but also possesses a hypnotic quality that invites us to lose ourselves in the moment on the dancefloor. With its dark and ominous undercurrents, The Unexplained is a captivating listen from front to back.
"When we get together, we just bounce ideas off each other really fast," Odd Mob told EDM.com in a joint interview earlier in 2024. "I think just working really fast together is what has glued it all together, I suppose. Just the speed."

Levity's latest single embodies the grit and guts of Chicago's bass music scene, and  once more the trio is turning heads and twisting dancefloors.
From the outset, "Front to Back" lays down a gauntlet with its hook, "Front to the back, know what it is when I jump on a track," delivering a clear and compelling message of the trio's dancefloor dominance. The track is a thrilling ride of sonic dynamics, characterized by its expert manipulation of tension and release. Its standout wobble bass ebbs and flows with a life of its own, bringing an element of surprise and spontaneity while intertwining seamlessly with its sharp, punchy vocal hooks.
The presence of a deep, resonant sub bass adds a foundational rumble that ensures the track’s impact is felt as much as it is heard, vibrating through the listener's core.  Together, the trio's creative elements come together in a way that's sure to excite the head-banging audience.
Lately, the recent EDM.com Class of 2024 inductees have been making it look easy, dropping a string of surefire thrillers including "Flip It" and a big remix of Billy Gillies' "DNA."
