ATB Will Circuit The US On Upcoming ‘Don’t Stop’ Tour Pt.2 

André is kicking off album celebrations in style through the States.
German electronic music legend ATB made a significant announcement earlier in the year: his upcoming studio album will be his last. With an incredible career that includes a total of 10 studio albums and over 55 gold and platinum awards in numerous countries, ATB has always gone the extra yard with his studio albums, routinely releasing double album projects that feature a disc aimed for the dancefloor and a separate disc curated for the comedown, crafted with beautiful soundscapes.
However, this does not mark the end of his career. ATB will continue to create new music and perform live shows worldwide. ATB’s final album is expected to be a fitting closing story to a remarkable time in the industry. In the past, he released 10 studio albums and numerous hit singles, including ‘9pm (Till I Come)’,” ‘Don’t Stop’, ‘Ecstasy’, ‘Let U Go’, ‘What About Us’, and ‘When It Ends It Starts Again’.
To celebrate this milestone, ATB is embarking on the ‘Don’t Stop’ US Tour PT.2. This tour will feature a mix of classic hits and new music from his upcoming album. Fans can catch ATB performing in cities like Minneapolis, Chicago, Austin, Sunnyvale, Costa Mesa, and Orlando for their local EDC.

Breakaway Music Festival Unveils 2025 Dates, Expansion to Major US Cities

If you missed your chance to attend a Breakaway Music Festival in 2024, fear not. With its rapidly expanding reach, the fest will likely be coming to a city near you in the year ahead.
The nation's leading traveling EDM festival, Breakaway is set to bring its massive electronic music lineups and audiovisual production first to Dallas in April 2025, then Atlanta, Huntsville, Philadelphia and Phoenix throughout the year.
"2024 was Breakaway’s biggest year to date," said Breakaway co-founder Zach Ruben. "We can’t be more excited to have a bigger and more electric year in 2025 by bringing a premium festival experience, presented by CELSIUS, to six brand new markets."
Breakaway has one more stop left in 2024, coming to the Bay Area October 25-26 for a special Halloween event headlined by RL Grime and Marshmello.
Lineups for the new locations have not yet been announced, but Early Bird tickets are on sale now and can be found here.

Rezz and X1-Y2 Collaborate for Ominous EP, "NOVUS"

Rezz seems to have the bass music community in a continuous chokehold, and with help from the enigmatic X1-Y2, she's tightened her grip by dropping a new EP.
Out now via Rezz's own HypnoVizion label, NOVUS features four gritty tracks, all connected by an eerie futurism that feels like walking through the ruins of an extraterrestrial civilization. 
"PROXIMATE" kicks it off with a decisive deluge of pounding beats and digitized melodies, solidifying itself as a standout. The ensuing tracks "ETERNAL," "ZERO" and "SUBSEQUENT" then match and escalate the intensity with blustering electric guitar solos and grating midtempo drops that act as staticky mission directives. And Rezz meant for it to be that way.
"I wanted to channel a futuristic/industrial/sinister vibe with this project and reconnect with the part of myself which was creating instrumental heavy, cutting edge records," Rezz said in a statement. "Working with X1 was a seamless experience and we managed to complete this EP from start to finish in a very quick and efficient way. To say I’m proud of this EP is an understatement.” 
NOVUS moonlights as a gravitational pull towards the new dimension of Rezz's upcoming "PORTAL" show. The EP's artwork reflects her otherworldly intentions.

VEIL Lifts Latest Single ‘RESPAWN’ From Upcoming Debut Album

Here’s to a glimpse of quite the complex storytelling to come with her LP.
Rising Bass music star VEIL is running the final stretch of the wait to the release of her debut album, HIGH VOLTAGE, on November 22nd. With just over a month to spare, she has decided to lift ‘RESPAWN‘, one of its constituent parts, for the world to hear. Let me tell you, it’s a great first taste.
HIGH VOLTAGE is a groundbreaking project which aims to present art beyond any boxy definitions of what Bass music is. The album tells the story of AZAL, a character navigating a mysterious cross-dimensional zone known as THE HOLLOW. Through VEIL’s artistry, AZAL’s journey is brought to life, exploring themes of strength, transformation, and bending realities.
‘RESPAWN’
The first track to be lifted from the LP, ‘RESPAWN‘ introduces listeners to AZAL’s entrance into THE HOLLOW, a unsettling liminal space where time unravels. The track features rumbling basslines and unrelenting energy, setting the tone for the album. And with the story it tells, the couldn’t have been a better candidate for an early release.
The track plays with tons of eerie, off textures and crazy patterns, and it uses panning as a key resource to describe the indescribable. This odd voyage of the protagonist can truly be felt across the waves, with sound design that is so cleverly thought out that it reminds me of radio drama series, a genre of storytelling in which you have to make up for the lack of visuals to imprint feelings on the listeners.

With over 1.5 billion streams, he has captivated audiences at major festivals like Coachella and Tomorrowland.

Fideles is an Italian duo of Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti. They create a melodic and epic sound that has gained attention from leading labels like Afterlife and Innervisions. Their tracks, such as ‘The Border‘, have earned praise from top artists. Also, have been featured in renowned venues like Amnesia (Ibiza).

Be No Rain is known for his trademark tenor vocals combining forces with well known DJs. His recent collaboration with Fideles and Vintage Culture, ‘Night After Night‘, became an instant classic. The new track, ‘Fallen Leaf’, has become a highlight in Vintage Culture’s live shows.

Kaskade’s Wife Naomi Raddon Files For Divorce After 28 Years

In rather sad news, or maybe not so sad ones? We don’t know, this is conflicting information. Kaskade’s wife just filed for divorce after a 28 year marriage. Chicago-native electronic producer Raddon aka Kaskade aka Daddy Kaskade, and Naomi Raddon had been married since 1996.

Naomi Raddon filed for divorce on October 16 in Los Angeles and according to Billboard. Moreover, the reason was irreconcilable differences. The couple had been married since August 1996 and the date of separation is July 22, 2024 according to the petition. Kaskade and Naomi have three kids together, one still being a minor. The filing requests joint custody for their 14 year old. Although Kaskade’s team has made no official announcements or comments, we wish him and Naomi the best, most amicable resolution to the ordeal.

The electronic producer has had a great year nevertheless. He became the first electronic artist to be the in-game DJ for the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. Besides his residency art Zouk Nightclub in the city. He continues to tour, involving his Redux sets in the rotation. Mau P Releases New Single ‘MERTHER’

Dutch DJ and producer Mau P has been making waves in the global house music scene with unique production style and infectious beats. About Mau P
It is not often that an artist of Mau P’s caliber joins the ranks in electronic music. In what can only be described as one of the break-out stories of the decade, ‘Drugs From Amsterdam’ originator Mau P has indisputably left his mark on the dance music scene since his debut single was released.
Born Maurits Westveen into a family brimming with musical genius, the artist within was destined to come out at some point. Starting a career as DJ and producer Maurice West, he quickly made his way onto world’s premier stages and into the hearts of many. Despite everything seemingly running smoothly, the Maurice West project had run its course and a seismic shift was in the works. Fast forward to today and Mau P is reaping the rewards of a leap of faith, the wager on his artistry paying off in a spectacular manner.
His debut single rocketed from the underground to become a huge global hit with close to two hundred million streams across platforms. Drugs From Amsterdam cracked the charts, topped Beatport’s prestigious Top 10 for over a month and turned out to be the beginning of a meteoric upwards trajectory.
Mau P released the follow up, ‘Gimme That Bounce’, in January 2023, right as he was embarking on his first North America tour. A tour that sold out shows from coast to coast. The summer that followed, Mau P was firing on all cylinders, releasing official remixes for the Swedish House Mafia, Calvin Harris and Armand van Helden as well as his original collaboration with Kevin de Vries, ‘Metroon Afterlife’. In 2023 Mau P also released Your Mind Is Dirty and Dress Code, which both turned out hugely successful in their own right. Over the course of his first full year in business, Mau P graced acclaimed stages across the globe, from EDC Las Vegas to Tomorrowland and from Hï Ibiza to Amsterdam Dance Event, winning over fans one beat at a time. It was this foundation of high profile performances and successful releases that set up Mau P for a truly spectacular start to 2024. 
Mau P started 2024 with a triple threat, announcing the release of his most sought-after ID yet, BEATS FOR THE UNDERGROUND, his new SiriusXM radio show XXX Radio – pronounced triple x, and being added to Wynn Las Vegas’ roster of resident DJs. Not long after, days before his two sold out Miami Music Week events, Mau P was confirmed for a headlining back to back slot with Diplo on Coachella’s brand new Quasar stage. The latter three all individual feats an artist might work towards over the span of an entire career.
2024 also saw the official introduction of Mau P’s own multidisciplinary concept, Baddest Behaviour with an event in New York’s Knockdown Centre. Its debut sold out easily, leading to follow ups at Floyd during Miami Music Week, Mission Ballroom in Denver and most notably a massive 7.500 capacity show at the esteemed new Under the K Bridge venue in Brooklyn scheduled for September.  
It is indeed not often that an artist of Mau P’s caliber comes along, as demonstrated by a jaw-dropping list of accolades achieved in just 18 months. Looking back to August 2022, it’s safe to say that Mau P has broken the mold. As he continues to carve out his section of the dance music industry, Mau P will remain the name to watch for some time to come.

Apple Music has introduced a new feature allowing artists to turn their concert set lists into playlists for tour promotion. Available through Apple Music for Artists, this tool lets musicians create playlists based on their live performances, which can be shared on their Apple Music page, Shazam profile, and event listings. Integrated with Bandsintown, the feature boosts show discoverability and offers flexible playlist management. Artists can curate songs, including covers and collaborations, to reflect live shows and promote upcoming tours, enhancing engagement with both live attendees and those who couldn’t attend.
Set Lists will appear on artist pages depending on their popularity, giving fans the ability to explore both recent and past concert experiences. This feature is now accessible to all verified artists through their Apple Music for Artists account. The launch of Set Lists marks Apple Music’s latest effort to strengthen the connection between artists and fans and offer promotional tools for musicians.

Worlds Away Brought Out Breezy Vibes to An Electric Atmosphere

The Worlds Away Festival, which occurred on Oct. 12, 2024 at the Monterey County Fairgrounds in Monterey, CA, was a memorable experience since it was the first dance/electronic music festival that took place in Monterey, which is located on this state’s Central Coast. The sponsors of Worlds Away Festival are a very innovative lifestyle platform and experience curator called Pendulum and an up-and-coming vodka brand called NEFT Vodka.
What makes this festival also unforgettable is that it includes interactive augmented reality (AR) activations that support festival attendees with participating in an environment that has tons of technological wonders that are compatible for all ages. Here is the review of Worlds Away Festival at Monterey County Fairgrounds, an event that blends art, music, and technology in one magnificent world, or even galaxy, of illumination that celebrates the spirit of the Monterey Pop Festival that occurred in 1967.

The festival organizers teamed up with AR platform Augmento as the festival’s key Title Tech Sponsor, “Van Gogh Experience” creator Normal Studio, Web3 & NFC Chip experts Endstate, and design firm Vita Motus to create groundbreaking and interactive technology based activations. In fact, the festival’s tech partners put forth these activations as ingenious installations that may become very common in various music festivals globally as event organizing technology becomes more advanced as time progresses. These activations definitely were a success in getting the attendees (or “TRAVELERS” since they are attending the Worlds Away Festival) to enjoy immersing themselves alongside their fellow friends, family members, and like-minded dance/electronic music fans.
The activations were a digital graffiti wall, 3-D maps (especially the interactive AR map that attendees could view after they download the official Augmento app), virtual merchandise and food vender Portals that satisfied the attendees who want to have the full experience, especially a part of the experience that they can’t wait to bring back for their fans and family to enjoy as well. One very exciting activity that the “TRAVELERS” got to partake in was an AR scavenger hunt, in which they would discover fascinating items that are hidden throughout the Monterey County Fairgrounds.

There were also vendors that provided great memorabilia and other awesome forms of art, especially the glitter art booth. One particular moment stood out while passing by the glitter art booth was when a beautiful attendee sat patiently as the glitter artist put on some glitter around her eyes, making her stand out like a one-of-a-kind, adventurous free spirit who is enjoying the time of her life at the festival. Also, another notable sight at the Fairgrounds was the local famous attraction, the Ferris Wheel that lit up the atmosphere, making it feel like one is at Electric Daisy Festival.
Headlining artists brought out unforgettable memories in Monterey
The artists at the first-ever Worlds Away Festival were Ayokay, Lost Kings, Sam Feldt, R3HAB, Tiësto, Lauv, and The Chainsmokers. All of the artists there at Worlds Away put on their unique and phenomenal sets that for sure brought out those wonderful breezy vibes to an already-electric atmosphere.
Tiësto, for example, played classic hits such as ‘Adagio For Strings’ and ‘Traffic’ and also recent top bangers such as ‘The Business’ and ’10:35′, and his set proved that anywhere the Dutch dance/electronic music legend goes, he will always throw down a world-class performance. As for the final headliner, The Chainsmokers, the duo provided the feels with their dreamy and upbeat tracks that remain popular for their beloved fans over the past decade such as ‘#SELFIE’, ‘Closer’, ‘Something Just Like This’, and ‘Don’t Let Me Down’.

Cindy Charles, Twitch's Trailblazing Head of Music, Has Died

Cindy Charles, Twitch's boundary-breaking Head of Music, has tragically passed away, a member of her team announced today. 
Charles succumbed to injuries sustained from a traffic accident in Amsterdam, according to a blog post shared by Kira Karlstrom, Head of Twitch Music Label Relations. Together with Karlstrom, Charles had been scheduled to moderate a panel during the Amsterdam Dance Event, the world's leading electronic music summit.
"It's with a heavy heart that I share the tragic news of Cindy Charles’ passing earlier this week in a traffic accident in Amsterdam," Karlstrom writes. "Cindy was more than just Twitch’s Head of Music — she was the heart and soul of our team, and a force for good in everything she touched."
Charles, a visionary agent of change in the intersection of music and technology, has redefined how artists and creators engage with audiences on Twitch. She remains revered for leading Twitch's label relations and music licensing operations, fostering an ecosystem that allows musicians to thrive on the platform.
Her innovative approach has positioned her as a trailblazer, recognized for breaking barriers in a rapidly evolving music industry. Championing the global electronic music community, Charles played an instrumental role in developing Twitch's pioneering DJ category, a breakthrough that established the company as the first major service to provide a long-term home for DJs to legally livestream.
Charles was also a fierce advocate for women in the music industry. The late exec co-founded the San Francisco chapter of She Is The Music as well as Women in Digital, a community of over 1,500 members with a mission "to help women define a limitless future for all by shining a light on careers in digital and technology."
"I'll never forget sitting with Cindy in the JFK Delta Lounge on Sunday evening, just before we left for Amsterdam — the night before she passed," Karlstrom recalls. "We reflected on all we had accomplished — the success of the DJ program, the Charlix XCX event at Storm King — and talked about the exciting things ahead. In that moment, Cindy said something I’ll carry with me forever: 'I finally feel like all my life’s work has been worth it. I’m making a difference for artists.'"

ASOT Rotterdam 2025 First Wave Of Artists Just Announced

A State Of Trance is absolutely gearing up for February.
ASOT fans, this one’s for you. Yesterday, Armin van Buuren‘s legendary radioshow A State Of Trance celebrated ADE their own way — with a ten-hour episode. The Armada guys invited an incredible roster which included acts such as Ferry Corsten, SUPERSTRINGS, Miss Monique, Maddix, and more. And they also announced the first wave of acts to play during the ASOT Rotterdam 2025 weekender.
The Lineup
For a start, ASOT host Armin himself will be going back-to-back on three separate occasions: One with ARTBAT, one with Maddix, and one with his ASOT 2025 Anthem coworker, Ben Hemsley. He will also play a solo set. Other artists revealed were Agents Of Time, Ben Gold, Aly & Fila, Ruben de Ronde, SUPERSTRINGS, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Laura van Dam, Ferry Corsten, and others. Relentless Beats’ ‘Better Together’ Festival Releases Single-Day Lineups

Relentless Beats’ newest festival, Better Together, will kick off next month with six heavy-hitting headliners and a healthy dose off exciting support. Set to take place November 22 and 23, 2024 at Rawhide Festival Grounds in Chandler, Arizona, Better Together is a two-night event in the tradition of Relentless Beats’ marquee events like Goldrush Music Festival, Super Unnatural, Phoenix Lights, and Decadence AZ–which will celebrate a ‘Decade of Decadence’ this New Year’s. 
Better Together features a diverse and eclectic lineup with headliners like British house and techno DJ Carl Cox, English powerhouse electronic act Disclosure, fun-loving Australian tech house producer Fisher, genre-twisting fav Tiësto, South African DJ and producer Black Coffee, and Haitian-Canadian producer, rapper, and mixtape DJ Kaytranada. Additional artists include Bonobo (dj set), Neil Francis (dj set), Channel Tres (dj set), DJ Mandy, Spencer Brown, WhoMadeWho (Hybrid DJ Set),  Molly Otto, and DMTRI.

ISOxo Doubles Down With Deluxe Version of Breakout Debut Album, "kidsgonemad!"

A year after releasing his debut album, the rise of ISOxo doesn't seem to be stopping anytime soon.
When the EDM.com Class of 2022 star dropped kidsgonemad! back in October 2023, he crystallized one of the bass music scene's most explosive breakouts in recent memory.
"I'm big on individualism and growing into yourself, growing into your own skin," ISOxo told us in an exclusive interview at the time. "The whole project as a whole is just really about becoming myself, and it's a story about growth. And the artistic process—there's a lot of ups and downs with this shit, but ultimately all that pressure and that rollercoaster of emotions helped me become who I am, and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
ISOxo has now released the album's deluxe edition, which features remixes, original demos and live edits from his past year of touring. Out now via 88rising, KGM(irl)* also includes a bonus track, "i promise," ISOxo’s first solo single of 2024.
In other ISO news, he's gearing up for his last "ISOKNOCK" shows of 2024. Together with fellow EDM.com Class alum Knock2, the show-stopping performances have taken the electronic music community by storm, like when the duo defied gravity and DJed from inside a shipping container suspended above Chicago's North Coast Festival.

Insomniac has joined The Vans Warped Tour chat! Recognized as one of the most successful and longest-running festivals of its kind, Warped Tour will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2025 with Insomniac’s help, catalyzing the platform for the future. Yes, you read that right. Yesterday, Armin van Buuren‘s legendary radioshow A State Of Trance celebrated ADE their own way — with a ten-hour episode. The Armada guys invited an incredible roster which included acts such as Ferry Corsten, SUPERSTRINGS, Miss Monique, MADDIX, and more. Between the sets, they accidentally leaked the news.
Armin had Pasquale Rotella — Insomniac CEO — over to have a chat, mostly because Insomniac and ASOT sealed a partnership for the former to take over production for next year’s ASOT Rotterdam weekender festival. But in the middle of the conversation, the news timidly arose: ASOT’s next stop appears to be the US.
During the airing, Armin told Pasquale “This is off the record, but my dream is to do what we do in the Netherlands but in your home country, so I think we should do that. The future is bright for A State of Trance and this is gonna be such an epic moment when we work together for the first time in February“. To what then Rotella mumbled the magic words, “What better place to leak it — you kinda just leaked it — I couldn’t be more excited about (…), in the States, there needs to be an epic, massive, perfectly produced ASOT“.

RÜFÜS DU SOL will play their biggest UK live show to date, at London’s Crystal Palace Park on 5th July 2025.
 
The show is announced as part of the European leg of their Inhale / Exhale World Tour 2025. The band will bring their emotionally charged and sonically innovative live show to audiences across the continent, with stops in cities like Barcelona, Amsterdam, Paris and London. 
 
The European and UK leg promises to be an unforgettable experience, featuring a blend of fan favourites and new tracks from their album Inhale / Exhale. Notably, their performance at Crystal Palace Park will mark their biggest headlining show in the UK, featuring an expanded, immersive experience for fans in London.
