  2. The decks were set, the stakes were high and the only certainty was uncertainty. At A State of Trance 2025, Armin van Buuren and Maddix took the stage for a "face-to-face" set, an audacious experiment that flipped the script on the traditional DJ performance. With their booths positioned directly opposite each other, the Dutch artists had no view of their counterpart's decks, and were instead forced to rely solely on old-fashioned instinct and musical intuition. Unlike standard b2b sets, where the DJs can easily read each other’s track selections and body language, van Buuren's and Maddix's setup eliminated that safety net entirely. Instead, the powerhouse producers had to anticipate each other's moves in real-time, creating an unpredictable, high-energy spectacle that played out like a chess match. Their performance set was just one piece of ASOT's expansive festival programming in Rotterdam this year. The event's opening day featured over five hours of live performance from van Buuren, who set the stage for a weekend that not only celebrated trance music as it exists today, but also its future. Fans who missed the moment live can now witness the whole set on YouTube here. 3. At the Vegas Sphere, a venue built to redefine live music, Anyma continues to push the boundaries of what's possible. The Afterlife visionary surprised audiences yet again this week by debuting an unreleased collaboration with REZZ, a pairing that melds their distinct sounds into something definitively new. Anyma's extended run at the Sphere has already delivered some of the most visually ambitious performances in electronic music history. As the first-ever electronic artist to headline the $2.3 billion venue, he has utilized the opportunity to expand his immersive, transhumanist world to the fullest in an evolving blend of music, storytelling and cutting-edge digital art. His latest surprise, a brooding and gritty fusion of his signature techno and REZZ’s distortion-heavy sound, adds yet another emerging chapter to the experience. The track pulses with hypnotic intensity as Anyma’s crisp, atmospheric production thrums beneath REZZ’s unmistakable low-end grit. The song, which does not have a release date at this time, was accompanied by a brand-new visual sequence featuring a translucent humanoid figure with an exposed inner skeleton—an eerie new addition to the Afterlife universe that further blurs the show's thematic boundaries between technology and sentience. Check out a clip below. Anyma's residency at Sphere continues through March 2nd, 2025. View the original article to see embedded media. 11. TATE SEDAR is putting it all out there with THIS IS POST-EDM, out today. The EP encompasses a genre-blurring, rule-breaking project that bridges the energy of the 2010s EDM explosion with fresh, forward-thinking production. After racking up 500,000+ streams, securing radio play for “Our Goodbye” with Liv Kennedy, and closing out 2024 alongside R3hab at Avalon Hollywood, SEDAR needed a new creative direction. That moment arrived with post-EDM—a term he coined to describe his sound, blending the realms of the digital and analog together. Now, the EP lands as both a mission statement and a launchpad for what’s next. With each song revealing another layer to the process. “San Francisco” sets the tone, channeling SEDAR’s Motown, hip-hop, and rock influences into a bass-driven groove that moves effortlessly between classic and contemporary. “Emotions” (ft. P$YCHEDELIC) dials up the unpredictability, fusing house, trap, and lo-fi hip-hop into a sound that refuses to be boxed in. Featuring viral rapper P$YCHEDELIC, it’s a nod to SEDAR’s commitment to blending styles rather than following trends. “Our Goodbye” (w/ Liv Kennedy) trades bombastic festival drops for electro-infused dance-pop, balancing emotional weight with radio-friendly hooks. It resonated beyond the underground, so to speak, landing at #18 on Nexus Radio and earning SiriusXM BPM airplay. “Coming Home (I.M.U)” steps into progressive-house territory, capturing the restless energy of a producer constantly on the move. “Dream” (ft. Otto Palmborg) signs off with a cinematic, weightless drop, driven by chopped vocals and an atmosphere that feels tailor-made for closing out a set – or getting lost in thought. For SEDAR, THIS IS POST-EDM is a pivot away from being locked into the predictable loops of festival anthems, instead embracing contrast and experimentation. With ten of millions of streams to his name, a breakout moment on Insomniac’s Discovery Project, and support from heavyweights like R3hab, Don Diablo, and Wolfgang Gartner, TATE SEDAR has put together a work both timeless while telling a story. 12. Today, Elohim released a beautiful new cover of ‘Sail’ as a part of the Deluxe Edition her album Power of Panic. The cover breathes new life into an album already layered with emotional weight. ‘Sail’, Elohim’s stripped-down rework of AWOLNATION’s defining anthem, dials back the intensity and replaces it with an intimate, vulnerable delivery. The defiant energy of the original morphs into a quiet contemplation, transforming its raw power into something hauntingly personal. ‘Scratch My Brain’ interrupts the album’s structure with an interlude that feels like a fragmented internal monologue, shifting the listener’s sense of time. ‘Patience’ pulls tension to the forefront, simmering with unease, carrying the weight of restless uncertainty, and reflecting anxiety’s relentless hold. With Elohim’s 50 million global streams, Power of Panic swiftly achieved critical acclaim with essential tracks like “Can’t Remember Your Name”, “Tiny Human”, and “Didn’t Sign Up For This” finding their way into Spotify’s ‘Women of Electronic’ and ‘Dance Rising,’ and Apple Music’s ‘Future Hits’. The album saw more support through Amazon’s ‘Brand New Music’ and Audiomack’s ‘Best of the Week: Electronic’, only adding to the pile-on of positive reception. About Elohim Trained in classical piano but drawn to the lawless terrain of electronic music, Elohim has carved out her own lane and reaped the benefits. Her fusion of pop, bass-driven electronic, and alt sensibilities turned heads early, leading to collaborations with the likes of Skrillex, Marshmello, Louis the Child, and many others Focusing on Power of Panic, the album marked a saga for the artist – it was a fight to reclaim herself. At a breaking point from relentless touring and spiraling anxiety, she found herself leaning on benzodiazepines just to get through. When the walls started closing in, she had two choices: let the downward spiral take hold or fight to regain control. She chose the latter. Power of Panic became a sonic document of that battle. With past festival performances under her belt such as Coachella, Lollapalooza, or EDC Mexico, or speaking directly to fans through her Sunday Scaries series, she’s been around the block when it comes to the music industry circuit on and off the stage. Deluxe Edition seeks to show a dive into the narrative she’s been constructing all along. In an industry that often prefers polished surfaces, Elohim offers something that cuts through the noise. 13. As the world transitions from winter to spring, Swiss-South African artist Nora En Pure delivers a radiant new anthem with her latest release, ‘Tranquility’, out now via Enormous Tunes. Infused with her signature organic house elements, this captivating piano-driven track embodies renewal, warmth, and positivity, setting the perfect tone for the changing seasons. I want to be walking through a national park while listening to this on repeat. Fresh off a six-week North American tour and a break from the studio, Nora En Pure was eager to reconnect with the creative process. Seeking balance from the intensity of life on the road, she poured her energy into ’ Tranquility ’- blissful and soothing composition designed to bring a sense of calm amidst the chaos. Now freshly completed, the track is poised to make its mark on dancefloors while already captivating listeners with its breezy melodies, uplifting energy, and immersive atmosphere. The track’s vibrant keys and shimmering synths dance effortlessly over deep, rolling basslines, creating a sonic journey that transports listeners to a state of pure bliss. True to its name, ‘Tranquility’ evokes a sense of peace and euphoria, making it equally powerful in a club setting or during a serene moment of reflection. Following the success of her previous single, ‘Protected’, this latest offering further solidifies Nora En Pure’s position as a leading force in the melodic and organic house scene. With her Purified brand continuing to unite music lovers across the globe, she remains dedicated to delivering high-quality, emotionally charged productions that connect listeners to nature and the world around them. I love the addition of a 6 minute extended version for her super fans. Make sure to check out ‘Tranquility’ below! 14. Electronic music producer Rebūke is set to release his highly anticipated album, The World of Era, in spring 2025, pushing creative and conceptual boundaries in the genre. Leading the album is the single ‘Choose Life,’ a collaboration with rising artist Linska, released today, February 28. Inspired by ‘Trainspotting,’ the track reimagines Irvine Welsh’s iconic monologue with a modern techno twist, exploring themes like streaming culture, AI, and automation. Listen here. Following their successful 2024 collaboration ‘Digital Dream,’ Rebūke and Linska crafted ‘Choose Life,’ to blend dystopian vocals with a driving beat. The track gained traction after going viral when debuted in Edinburgh, where ‘Trainspotting’ is set. The visual concept aligns with Rebūke’s multi-layered artistic approach, portraying Linska on LED walls addressing the fictional world of Era. About Rebūke Rebūke is a standout star. A breakout act forged in the white-hot atmosphere of the Irish underground music scene. An artist constantly searching for something new and exciting who’s captured that elusive thing – a sound and a style… all his own. ERA is Rebūke’s brand new world. A place for people to lose themselves in a realm of sound and vision. The double header “Glow / Void” – is an introduction to ERA’s universe, where Rebūke has created a captivating sense of futurism. Carefully crafted pieces of music accompanied by a visual narrative, allowing people to experience Rebūke’s ERA vision and storytelling in full and create something truly remarkable. All of this has been built on a rock-solid discography on some of the most sought-after labels of the last decade. His Afterlife collaboration with Anyma “Syren” is a magnificent piece of forward thinking melodic techno and has already become one of the most requested tracks of 2023. “Along Came Polly”’ was a game changing track that sounded like nothing else at the time. It rocketed to the top of the Beatport charts, staying there for two months. It was Essential New Tune for Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and established instantly Rebuke’s reputation for creative sound design. On the remix front his magic touch has been applied to a who’s who of underground music including Underworld, Tiga, Kölsch, Chris Lake, Kevin Saunderson, Green Velvet, Max Cooper among others. 15. Grabbitz has released a new album, Big Epic Nothing, unearthing raw emotion across 11 tracks and painting an intimate portrait of an artist who has never been afraid to embrace vulnerability. Grabbitz has never been one to conform. The genre-blending singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist has long occupied a lane of his own, bridging electronic music with rock and consistently pushing boundaries in the process. With Big Epic Nothing, his fifth studio album and first full-length release under his own Blue Butterfly Records imprint, he reinforces his standing as one of today's most compelling voices in dance music. A deeply personal project, the album arrives as Grabbitz supports fellow rocktronic producer Sullivan King on his "Chaos Will Bring Peace" tour, a fitting backdrop for a record that revels in explosive energy and cathartic storytelling. "This album is a reflection of everything I’ve been through—musically and personally," Grabbitz said in a press release. "It's my story of finding beauty in chaos and creating meaning from emptiness." Zach Frank From the very first moments of Big Epic Nothing, we are thrust into its tempestuous storm of emotion and sound. Its opener, "Hero Pt. II," sets the stage with haunting lyricism before erupting into a thunderous drop. While its melancholic beginnings may suggest despair, the song ultimately builds into a triumphant anthem, underscoring the resilience at the heart of the album. "This is not a story where the hero dies at the end," Grabbitz declares, establishing a defiant tone. While the album largely stands as a solo endeavor, its sole collaboration, "Love You 'Til I'm Dead," commands attention. Released fittingly as a single on Valentine’s Day, the track merges Rezz's signature eerie basslines with Grabbitz’s cinematic vocal delivery, crafting a dark yet oddly romantic experience. As Big Epic Nothing unfolds, its versatility becomes even more apparent. "And I Run And I Run" shifts into full-throttle rock territory, featuring anthemic guitar riffs and a vocal performance that oscillates between soaring melodies and a rap-like cadence. Elsewhere, "Gasping For Air" straddles the line between spellbinding electronica and introspective alt-rock, with distorted synths masterfully melting into the hypnotic pull of the track's aching vocals. More than just another chapter in Grabbitz’s evolution, Big Epic Nothing is a testament to his artistic fearlessness. By refusing to be confined by genre, he continues to carve out his own path, bound neither by the constraints of expectations nor talent. 17. Amazon's Alexa+ just got a musical upgrade, but major record labels are not singing along. The tech giant has partnered with AI music company Suno for a new integration that allows users to generate complete songs, including lyrics, vocals and instrumentals, simply by asking Alexa. The feature is part of Amazon's broader rollout of Alexa+, an upgraded version of its voice assistant infused with AI-powered capabilities, according to Billboard. "Using Alexa's integration with Suno, you can turn simple, creative requests into complete songs," Amazon wrote in a blog post announcing the update this week. "Looking to delight your partner with a personalized song for their birthday based on their love of cats, or surprise your kid by creating a rap using their favorite cartoon characters? Alexa+ has you covered." Amazon's embrace of Suno is raising eyebrows across the music industry, considering the owner of a major streaming service would align itself with an AI company currently being sued for its data practices. It's worth noting that Amazon has also invested $8 billion in the AI juggernaut Anthropic, which is currently entangled in its own copyright lawsuit with music publishers. Major labels "are not happy" about Alexa's Suno integration, according to music tech executive Drew Thurlow, Sony's former Head of A&R, who said Amazon's music partners were not notified prior. Even more perplexing is the fact that Amazon Music deepened its relationship with Universal Music Group just two months ago, pledging in late-December to collaborate on efforts to combat "unlawful AI-generated content." The Alexa+ announcement comes at a precarious time for Suno, which is currently embroiled in a contentious legal battle with Universal, Sony and Warner, who have accused it of copyright infringement "on an almost unimaginable scale." Spearheaded by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the lawsuit alleges that Suno used copyrighted recordings without permission to train its AI models. The trade body is seeking damages of up to $150,000 for each copyrighted work. In a court filing, Suno conceded that its AI model "presumably" trained itself on "tens of millions" of copyrighted recordings, though the company maintained that its practices fall within legal bounds. Co-founder and CEO Mikey Shulman has dismissed the explosive lawsuit as "fundamentally flawed," arguing that "learning is not infringing." Shulman poured gasoline on the controversy in January, when he faced ubiquitous backlash after claiming on a podcast that most people find the music creation process "not really enjoyable." Whether this gamble pays off remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: Alexa isn't just playing your favorite songs anymore. Now, it's making them.
  18. Oh this one got us really excited! Miami based producer and fan favorite John Summit presents us his rendition of Anyma’s ‘Hypnotized’ featuring Ellie Goulding. The Melodic Techno track was one of the highlights of Anyma’s Sphere performances in Las Vegas, and after Daddy Summit jokingly posted his audition tape for the Sphere a month back, he now joins the roster for his debut Sphere performance. The remix is now available just ahead of his shows at LIV Las Vegas tomorrow and The Sphere this Sunday. Anyma Ft. Ellie Goulding ‘Hypnotized’ (John Summit Remix) The Experts Only label head teased us with the track last month during one of his shows. The remix dives fully into Tech House territory with a tasteful groove and signature Summit melodies. The energy infused into the track is electrifying and high-paced. Summit uses his signature sounds to transform the song into an irresistible anthem, layering deep, rolling basslines and a driving rhythm. This intensifies the hypnotic and atmospheric vibe of the original with an uplifting, dynamic edge. The track follows Anyma’s previous release, ‘Voices In My Head’ with Argy & Son of Son, and comes just in time ahead of his final four shows at the Sphere this weekend, with John performing at the last show March 2nd. ‘End of Genesys’ The last four shows came to no surprise as the first leg of the residency counted with major success. Live performances included FKA Twigs, Ellie Goulding, Grimes, and Empire of the Sun. Moreover, John Summit joins the roster that made history at the Sphere, including Charlotte de Witte, Amelie Lens, Layton Giordani, Camelphat, Adriatique, Tiësto, Argy, and more. This weekend, artists like Solomun, Layla Benitez, Recondite (Live), Peggy Gou, Mau P, Colyn and Cassian, expand the lineup to new heights. John Summit The label boss of Experts Only has fully absorbed the fruits of his success. Massive sold out tours and shows, and now a Sphere performance? Incredible. ‘Hypnotized’ Remix follows his most recent single ‘Focus’ and ought to keep us warm through the last couple weeks of Winter. Speaking of Winter, last weekend, he brought the heat to Tahoe with his Experts Only Weekender, including artists such as Max Styler, Jackie Hollander, Westend, and Kyle Watson. Summit continues his Residency at LIV Nightclub Las Vegas, alongside major international stops in India, Canada, and Australia. US Stops include Movement Festival in Detroit, Austin, and Bonnaroo in Tennessee. We definitely lost our minds already, this is Anyma ft. 19. By now, you’ve seen REBŪKE‘s cyberfuturistic teasers on cult-classic film, Trainspotting, with ‘Choose Life‘ featuring Digital Dream collaborator, Linska. The single is out now and is also the title single of REBŪKE‘s debut studio album The World of Era. Mark your calendars for its release on May 19th via his Era label. The album promises to push creative and conceptual boundaries, cementing REBŪKE’s reputation as one of the most forward-thinking artists of the genre. Additionally, he debuted the track in Edinburgh where Trainspotting took place, and the clip went viral on TikTok. Firstly, ‘Choose Life’ takes the original script of Irvine Welsh and transforms it into something more. Something that dives into streaming culture, automation, and the existential inevitability of AI. Secondly, it is a dark track, blending dystopian vocals and escapist instrumentals for a motivating, brooding, familiar piece. Pulsating rhythms, deep basslines, and the words spoken evocatively create a modern-day techno anthem. Thirdly, if anyone resonates with the Trainspotting monologue, this track is the accompaniment to it. The track bodes as an existential message with an empowering truth on life’s dilemmas. What’s more, REBŪKE sets the verses slower than how the movie does them, contracting the hyper-connected reality with the raw, rebellious spirit of the original monologue. Their version expands on choosing a life, a job, a career, a family. They tell you to choose a ‘fucking smart television, wireless headphones, paper straws‘ and to ‘prioritize mental wellbeing and streaming subscriptions‘. Choose saving up all your money to travel the world just to have the weather fuck up all your plans… Choose an existential crisis after asking AI to do a task in ten seconds that would have taken you ten hours… [and] Choose your future, choose life. “‘Choose Life’ is a futuristic take on Trainspotting inspired by Irvine Welsh’s story. The idea was to craft a narrative around contemporary scenarios whilst keeping the dystopian meaning of the original lyrics. After the success of last years’ “Digital Dream,” Ella (Linska) and I wanted to follow it up by reimagining the lyrics and creating something fresh and new.” – REBŪKE The track featured on a multitude of sets from Heldeep Radio, Mau5trap Radio, Linska’s One World Radio, and even by Dom Dolla at FNGRS CRSSD and The Drumsheds. REBŪKE owes his success to a wealth of experience with a Coachella debut, support as a b2b with Chris Avantgarde at Anyma’s The End of Genesys Sphere show, and a complete North America tour. The multi-layered artist extends his craft with emphasized visuals alongside his music for an interstellar audiovisual experience. The World of Era is set to redefine electronic music’s landscape by fusing storytelling with formidable production. For now, get ahead of what’s to come and listen to ‘Choose Life’ below. REBŪKE ft. 21. Two Drumcode mainstays, Layton Giordani & Bart Skils, join forces on rapturous but dark-edged Techno thriller ‘Deadly Valentine’, out now on Adam Beyer’s imprint. Skils is globally renowned for his chart-invading take-no-prisoners Techno. The Dutch producer’s last release on Beyer’s imprint was the 2024 Sakura EP comprising collaborations with SUDO and Drunken Kong. Giordani, also a chart topper, at the forefront of an exciting new genre-bending sound, combines influences of Melodic House, Progressive, and Indie Dance with Techno. His last DC outing was a recent rework of the seminal ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ from Tiga and Audion, and the otherworldly but peak time ‘Freaks At Night’ single last June. ‘Deadly Valentine’ The duo have a history of playing B2B at massive events like Drumcode, Loveland and Awakenings. This is their first collaborative standalone single (their ‘Midnight Magic’ was on Layton’s 2020 Drumcode LP). “I was listening to Spotify and going through an indie dance rabbit hole. (…) I stumbled upon this track, was instantly hooked, and knew Bart was the right guy to collaborate with on this record.” Layton Giordani Bart stated that Layton sent him the vocal idea. Then, Skils turned it into an arrangement with a rolling groove. Finally, the track was updated several times and mixed with a new vocalist for release. ‘Deadly Valentine’: complex, steady percussion with insistent Techno beat gives a dark questioning edge to the high, sweet vocal, fast, echoing, often layered or harmonising with itself, singing the apparently romantic wedding ceremony lyrics in French & English. The track is both ethereal and edgy, with tons of groove and Trance-esque elements. Play it as a proposal, or an ironic reason not to make one – or just dance to it. Bart Skils Bart Skils, a Drumcode mainstay, has enjoyed a monumental year of his own. His ‘Bart Skils Remixed’ package dropped earlier in the year to widespread praise, featuring remixes of ‘Something More’ by Joris Voorn and ‘Shadowprint’ by Dok & Martin. Sibold’s interpretation of ‘Roll The Dice’ now joins this lineage, injecting the track with fresh energy while honoring the melodic essence that made it a fan favorite. Layton Giordani The New York native continues to ride the success wave from 2024. With releases like ‘Let’s Go Dancing’ and ‘PATT’, his sounds have exponentially increased his following and influence in the scene. Moreover, with his newfound style, he has released multiple successful hits on labels such as Drumcode and John Summit’s Experts Only. ‘Deadly Valentine’ follows Layton’s stunning hit ‘Act of God’ ft. Linney and Sarah de Warren. Up next, Giordani will be touring the Americas with stops in Vegas, Houston, Detroit, Cordoba, Ciudad de la Costa, and Toronto. 22. February waves goodbye in true Trancy fashion today. The Anjunabeats female duo of the moment is back. Amy Wiles and Leena Punks have collaborated again, this time with vocals from flowanastasia, on a new Trance track called ‘Heard It All Before’. After their highly successful debut conjoint work ‘Sweet Feeling’, the bar was high for this release. And I think they’ve crushed it. Amy Wiles, a regular artist on Anjunabeats, has released several successful tracks on the label, ever since her ‘Biding Time’ solo release in 2021. Once an Anjunabeats Rising star, she’s made her way to the very top and is now a recurrent face representing the A-label. Her sound has shifted towards old-school-tinted Trance, also making her one of my personal heroes for bringing this kind of Trance back to the spotlight. Leena Punks, on the other hand, has a career many would envy. She got into music after finding her father’s vinyl collection. She started as a radio host and then performed at clubs in various cities. She’s been featured on BBC Radio 1, KISS FM, and SiriusXM, and she just completed a 2024 full of touring, to now be a resident DJ at E1. ‘Heard It All Before’ After topping the Breaks chart on Beatport with ‘Sweet Feeling’, Amy and Leena’s next track aimed for the stars. And they have, in fact, topped their past work with this one. Delicate yet euphoric, the track talks about heartbreak while lifting you up with those unmistakable Trance saws and 909 racks we all love. Leena recalls the origins of the song: “I wrote a euphoric breaks record last year about a painful breakup with very emotional chords and melodies in the drop and breakdown. I sent it to Amy, and she loved it. It was great to see how our experiences and creativity came on this record and turned it into a big old-school trance banger. Also, it’s always great to work with one of your best mates who’s also a talented producer. Flowanastasia’s incredible delivery and lyrics gave me goosebumps and the record a more crossover feel”. And to her words, Amy adds, “I just knew when Leena sent over the initial idea for HIAB that I had to work on it. The melodies and chords were very emotional, which is what I love. It’s great to hear how all of our styles have come together on this one, turning it into a commercial old skool trancey-sounding banger, and flowanastia’s lyrics and vocals have added that mainstream/crossover touch that we were after!“. flowanastasia, a vocalist with a decade-long career, was in charge of adding the memorable toplines to ‘Heard It All Before’. With BBC Radio 1 features and even past involvement with Anjuna by working with Genix, she was the appropiate voice to call for the task. She says, “Feeling the hypnotic vibe in the music reminded me of being ‘on loop’ in past toxic relationships – like the emotions of being stuck in negative cycles – so I wanted to represent that in the lyrics“. 23. Los Angeles-based duo NIIKO X SWAE are back, and they’re paying homage to their roots with their latest single, ‘Drop It Low.’ This electrifying house banger, released via Dim Mak, is a testament to their playful spirit and deep-rooted love for the sounds that shaped their youth. ‘Drop It Low’ transports listeners straight to the sweaty, vibrant energy of a 90s basement rave. The track pulsates with a funked-out groove, driven by an acid-inspired bassline that cuts through the mix like a laser beam. A resonating lead pluck adds a layer of melodic depth, while a party-starting pitched vocal injects a dose of rejuvenating fun. Drawing inspiration from their 90s childhood, NIIKO X SWAE are embracing a nostalgic theme that will permeate their upcoming Dim Mak singles. The accompanying visuals for ‘Drop It Low’ further solidify this retro aesthetic, featuring an 8mm look that vividly brings the track’s artwork to life. A real NXS-branded yo-yo, a quintessential Y2K toy, makes a cameo, adding a touch of authentic childhood charm. NIIKO X SWAE had this to say about their latest release: “Drop It Low” captures the high-energy vibe we bring to our live sets and has become a staple in our shows. Designed as a versatile DJ tool, it blends seamlessly across multiple genres. It’s the kind of track you’d hear in a sweaty basement. It features a classic vocal that feels instantly familiar to any raver or clubgoer while pushing sound design to new levels—flipping familiar sounds into something fresh and unrecognizable.” Childhood friends and LA-based duo NIIKO X SWAE are living reminders of what friendship and cherishing those coming-of-age moments are all about.
