The Florida flock will reunite at a brand-new location, the DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando, for a weekend in house music paradise. Dirtybird in 2025 is teaming up with our friends at Home Bass to deliver a bigger and better variety of programming while staying true to its quirky, summer-camp style ethos. The fest's color-wars games will feature three competitive flocks: Flamingo Fam (pink), Gator Gang (green) and Scuba Squad (blue). Our favourite vocalist just went all-in on production as well — and we can’t get enough of it. Towards the later stages of last year, we had the chance to speak with ALLKNIGHT, Jodie Knight’s Dance-focused alias. Well, it’s no secret she’d been having an outstanding career up to that point, writing and performing vocals for the likes of Marsh, Paraleven, Deeparture, and many more. But she’s taken her career up a notch today. Just like she told us back then, she was working on producing music that was 100% hers, from start to finish, from kick to toplines. And of course we were over the moon to hear this back then but, I’ve got to be frank: time goes by without you even noticing. And in the blink of an eye we’re in March 2025 now, and we’ve been gifted the first of these ALLKNIGHT-only goodies: ‘Home‘. I am actually doing an EP next year, totally myself. It’s going to be just me. I’m producing it, I’m writing it, I’m writing the tracks, doing the vocals and everything. And this is what I’m really, really excited for, because up until now, I’ve always been a featured vocalist on someone else’s track, which I love doing, and I love being part of. But (…) you never quite feel like it’s yours. It’s always, “The producers did such a great job on this track!”, when it is very much 50-50, but it’s unfortunately never seen like that. And I also love producing music. I love writing the tracks. What led to choosing “In Your Eyes” as Titanic’s End Records’ debut release? Justin: “We’ve been in love with the global sound of afro house music for the past couple of years. Some of the artists who’ve have inspired us that have played on Titanic’s End are Francis Mercier, Nitefreak, Maxi Meraki and Arodes. We wanted to build a label that showcased sounds from our community of artists, DJs and producers, and we loved the vibe of ‘In Your Eyes.'” Can you touch on Titanic’s End’s ocean conservation efforts? Justin: “Absolutely! One of our partners is Only One, a non-profit advocacy group that works to drive climate and ocean policy, on a global scale. We’ve been supporters of their mission and have been donating funds raised from some of our events to assist in the amazing work that they do.” What’s it like being an entrepreneur in the music industry? Justin: “I’m still a wide-reaching entrepreneur, but music is my passion! As an entrepreneur in the music business, I recently launched Titanic’s End Records with Nick Parasram. It seems like the Apple vs Samsung saga continues. This time, it comes as a new Apple foldable IPhone that can give the Galaxy Z Fold 6 a run for its coin. Analyst Ming Chi Kuo released a lengthy report on a blog, announcing his prediction for the new device, including pricing, features, and release. New Foldable IPhone The TF International Securities’ analyst has been a long time predictor of Apple trends. Through connections he has in the industry supply chain, he has offered reliable and mostly accurate predictions of the Tech company giant. This time, his report showcases a brand new IPhone model that’s foldable, offering a book style device that can turn into a mini tablet. Kuo shares that the price would range between $2000 to $2500. This isn’t unrealistic, as Samsung’s Galazy Z Fold Z sells for about $1800. And we also know the customer base of Apple will spend a good amount of money due to brand loyalty. This foldable design will also be AI-driven, following the steps of Google and Samsung. This will allow for multiple functions to be handled at the same time manually and through the AI system. Moreover, Kuo estimates for the internal screen to be a crease-free, 7.8 inch display. In effect, making it smaller than the current IPad Mini 7. When closed, the the IPhone could measure about 9mm. This would make it thicker than the current IPhone 16 and its Pro version by less than 2mms. Naturally, the thickness halves when the IPhone opens up, making it thinner than the 2024 IPad Pro, and thinner than the predicted, upcoming IPhone 17 Air. There is a chance that due to the thinness of the device, other convenient elements such as Face ID will be eliminated. Instead, there is a chance that Touch ID will make a return, similar to older Apple models. Moireover, the design could potentially have a titanium alloy and hih density battery. Lastly, the phone would have a two-lense rear camera and one lense front camera, available in both folded and opened states. Release With an expected release in Late 2026/ Early 2027, the analyst explains design specifics should be done halfway through this year, to start production as soon as possible. However, given the complexity of its design, mass production will be difficult. Therefore, the volume of production will be significantly smaller than precursor devices.
