  1. Imagine a love letter penned with a smirk, where every line is a playful jab at an ex who always craved a song written just for them. That's exactly what Two Friends deliver with their new single, "Wrong Way." With smooth vocals and a clever twist, the song’s lyrics tell the story of a breakup where singer Alexander Stewart finally fulfills his ex's wish for a song—but it’s far from the romantic ballad they might have imagined. The production is a hallmark of Two Friends' signature style, bringing biting humor wrapped in infectious melodies. From a production standpoint, the duo incorporate melancholic acoustic guitar strings and bright brass melodies that lift the track into festival-ready territory. "Wrong Way" comes amid a slew of successful dance-pop collaborations for Two Friends, including "The Way It Is" (with Cheat Codes) and "If Only I" (with Bebe Rexha and Loud Luxury). On the live front, the DJ duo kicked off the year hosting Big Bootie Land in Los Angeles, where they explosively premiered the 24th installment of their beloved "Big Bootie Mix" series. They're now gearing up to take the stage at Madison Square Garden on August 24th to debut its landmark 25th volume. Tickets to their upcoming performance at the Garden are available now. 3. Listen to a beautiful, warm track we recently came across. We’re just getting ready for the weekend ahead, and for that we’ve been packing up suitcases and burning CDs like the old times. Not really, but what we have been doing is looking for exciting music to share and play on repeat for hours on end. This one might just do the trick for you. Meet today’s artists, Loreno Mayer, Quizzow and Alessa. Loreno Mayer Croatian-born Loreno Mayer has been on a roll lately. After being played by ARTY all over the world and gathering support from Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Timmy Trumpet, and many others, he’s unveiled a ton of new material — and he’s got a ton more underway —, proving his tales over on the music industry are only getting started. In fact, we’ve already shared one of his recent tales on our page. Quizzow Also on creative duties on today’s feature is Quizzow, a producer who’s been taking the scene by storm. A lover of the Trance sound, he’s got signed to labels like Enhanced and Armada, and has been heard and played by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Cosmic Gate, and the British trio A&B as well. Alessa New-York-native Alessa is an international artist and songwriter who’s gathered well over a million streams on Spotify alone. Her works have been gracing and shaping Revealed Recordings since 2019, but far from only being a pivotal voice in one of Dance music’s greatest labels, she’s also seen signings on Proximity, Spinnin’, Sony, and many more. Are you a producer and you want your song featured on EDMTunes? Follow this link right here. ‘Without Your Love’ What sees the three maestros coming together this time around is ‘Without Your Love’, a conjoint work of them, recently released through Hardwell’s imprint, Revealed. This is far from being the first time the artists share a piece, though, as it is Mayer and Quizzow’s 4th collaboration, and, according to them, this is the most different one of them all. The single also has a long story of morphing in its sound throughout its creation. As Loreno tells us, the song had another vibe prior to this version. He had more of a Progressive House idea at the start, but which lacked some “summer freshness, some good new chords and a new idea”. He says, “Quizzow came up with the chords for the break and sent it back to me just to hear, and I instantly imagined the entire track in my head”. After that point, the track was crafted in just two days, and polished in a week. “We both signed to our dream record label which we are very proud of.” -Loreno Mayer And summery it feels. The track is a true anthem for the summer ahead, combining Alessa’s heartfelt vocals and tone with a plethora of elements which only add to the feel-good vibe. You’ll find pianos, strings, tambourine hits, and a mid-2010s Progressive House build that will take you back to those golden years of melodic 128 BPM drops. Listen to Loreno Mayer, Quizzow and Alessa’s ‘Without Your Love’ in full by clicking the Spotify button we’ve provided. Also, be sure to follow the artists on their socials — just hover over each of their names to be redirected. 5. A French Music Week in Paris could happen as early as 2025, according to recent remarks from the country's President, Emmanuel Macron. Summits like Miami Music Week and the iconic Amsterdam Dance Event unites fans, artists and industry professionals from across the globe. Regularly featuring a variety of panels and discussions alongside shows and festivals, they are crucial hubs for electronic dance music enthusiasts to network and, of course, dance until the sun comes up. Macron has now revealed that a French "Music Week" is taking shape. Attending the Fête de la Musique festival in France on June 21st, the French President said an event could happen next year in the country's capital. "I think we need to go even further," Macron told Radio FG in comments translated from French. "I would like us to create a major festival like we do in Miami or Amsterdam, which firstly allows all music professionals to come together, for example for Fashion Week, and to have very large concerts and very large festivals the days preceding... the music festival." Macron went on to praise the French electronic music scene, crediting artists like Jean-Michel Jarre and David Guetta for their influential work on a global scale. It's important to note that neither Macron nor his administration has formally announced a French "Music Week" at the time of this writing.
  6. All eyes are on the music industry at the moment with regards to AI's impact on copyright law. Udio, a generative AI music service that was recently sued by the three major labels, has now issued a statement in response to allegations of extensive copyright infringement. Sony Music Entertainment, Universal Music Group and Warner Records claimed that Udio, as well as another leading generative AI music program called Suno, violated copyright laws by training their models on protected music without permission. "Our system is explicitly designed to create music reflecting new musical ideas," reads a statement shared by Udio on X. "We are completely uninterested in reproducing content in our training set, and in fact, have implemented and continue to refine state-of-the-art filters to ensure our model does not reproduce copyrighted works or artists’ voices." "We stand behind our technology and believe that generative AI will become a mainstay of modern society." Recording Industry Association of America CEO Mitch Glazier, who is spearheading the lawsuits, voiced concerns about irresponsible AI developers who are offering unlicensed services and, in turn, threaten the integrity of human creativity. "The music community has embraced AI and we are already partnering and collaborating with responsible developers to build sustainable AI tools centered on human creativity that put artists and songwriters in charge," Glazier said in a statement. "But we can only succeed if developers are willing to work together with us. Unlicensed services like Suno and Udio that claim it’s 'fair' to copy an artist's life's work and exploit it for their own profit without consent or pay set back the promise of genuinely innovative AI for us all." Read Udio's full statement from X below. In the past two years, AI has become a powerful tool for creative expression across many media—from text to images to film, and now music. At Udio, our mission is to empower artists of all kinds to create extraordinary music. In our young life as a company, we have sat in the studios of some of the world’s greatest musicians, workshopped lyrics with up-and-coming songwriters, and watched as millions of users created extraordinary new music, ranging from the funny to the profound. We have heard from a talented musician who, after losing the ability to use his hands, is now making music again. Producers have sampled AI-generated tracks to create hit songs, like ‘BBL Drizzy’, and everyday music-lovers have used the technology to express the gamut of human emotions from love to sorrow to joy. Groundbreaking technologies entail change and uncertainty. Let us offer some insight into how our technology works. Generative AI models, including our music model, learn from examples. Just as students listen to music and study scores, our model has ‘listened’ to and learned from a large collection of recorded music. The goal of model training is to develop an understanding of musical ideas—the basic building blocks of musical expression that are owned by no one. Our system is explicitly designed to create music reflecting new musical ideas. We are completely uninterested in reproducing content in our training set, and in fact, have implemented and continue to refine state-of-the-art filters to ensure our model does not reproduce copyrighted works or artists’ voices. We stand behind our technology and believe that generative AI will become a mainstay of modern society. Virtually every new technological development in music has initially been greeted with apprehension, but has ultimately proven to be a boon for artists, record companies, music publishers, technologists, and the public at large. Synthesizers, drum machines, digital recording technology, and the sound recording itself are all examples of once-controversial music creation tools that were feared in their early days. Yet each of these innovations ultimately expanded music as an art and as a business, leading to entirely new genres of music and billions of dollars in the pockets of artists, songwriters and the record labels and music publishers who profit from their creations. We know that many musicians—especially the next generation—are eager to use AI in their creative workflows. In the near future, artists will compose music alongside their fans, amateur musicians will create entirely new musical genres, and talented creators—regardless of means—will be able to scale the heights of the music industry. The future of music will see more creative expression than ever before. Let us use this watershed moment in technology to expand the circle of creators, empower artists, and celebrate human creativity.“

  10. There is a quite a bit of negative feedback circulating from attendees of the Palm Tree Music Festival, put on by Kygo in Southhampton last Saturday, June 22. Ravers who attended the event are reporting long wait times for shuttles, alcohol shortages, and no water. Festival attendees also claimed it was “dangerous chaos” at the end of the event, as crowds dashed to make the last train home. Getting to the event was also a struggle, apparently, as ravers waited in long lines and missed sets waiting to get on shuttles from the Long Island Railroad. The comments on Palm Tree Music Festival’s Instagram are telling. Many complain about the amount spent on the event ($350+) and request a refund. “Takes 2 hours to get into a festival that was 10 min from drop off point. Drinks ran out at 630pm. Way home was a s–t show, people hopping the lines to bum rush shuttle. Security didn’t give a s–t and were basically useless. Way in for Ubers and Lyfts was also a nightmare and taxis price gouging to take us home.” -Frustrated commenter on Instagram Another attendee commented: “Kick off the summer right by getting completely bodied by 50+ people trying to get on a bus & getting elbowed in the face by a grown man!!” There were, however, no reported injuries at the fest. Palm Tree Music Festival took place Saturday, June 22 at Shinnecock Nation in Southhamtpon. The lineup featured headliners Kygo and Swedish House Mafia, with support from Sofi Tucker, Purple Disco Machine, Xandra, Flat Stanley, and Will Sass. The festival struggled with permitting issues this year, and as a result, was not able to proceed at its usual location at the Westhampton Beach airport. Whether this was the cause of this year’s issues is unclear, as the festival has had three previous successful years. 12. UK’s Syncia continues his impressive production streak with two incredible reworks of SUNANA’s massive clubland hit “Quimbara.” Syncia’s Tribal Remix delivers a succinct rhythmic workout with a slightly deeper edge, while the Kiss Mix directly targets main room positioning, and is poised to become a certified chart-topper already hitting Beatport and Traxsource genre Top 100 positions. The original version immediately shot up the charts and gained favour with DJs across the world, including a recent sample by Barry Can’t Swim, who signed it to Ninja Tune. It has also received consistent Radio 1 support from Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Sarah Story highlighting its broad appeal. This summer-fueled anthem shows no sign of stopping with its raw and unadulterated uplifting energy. Syncia has recently remixed tracks for heavyweights including Kink, Inner City and Soul Central, with his sound becoming synonymous with floor filling, club weapons. His releases have consistently featured on Radio 1 and also topped Beatport, Traxsource and ARIA charts consistently. Continuing to ignite audiences across the globe, Syncia is resident at 338 in the UK and has performed from Miami to Ibiza already this year. Once Syncia heard the original “Quimbara” and saw it instantly ignite clubs, he set out to bring his trademark energy to the SUNANA release. Originally signed by Open Bar Music, the CENTRL team has licensed the new mixes to their imprint, following a string of successful releases. Over the past few years, SUNANA has continued to lead the UK’s Tech House and Afro Latin scene. 13. April 2024 marked six years since we lost Avicii, one of the most iconic DJs and electronic dance music producers of all-time. The Avicii Experience, an interactive tribute museum in the artist's hometown of Stockholm, recently honored his life by hosting exclusive screenings of his final DJ set in Sweden. The never-before-seen footage was recorded at Avicii's performance in Pildammsparken, Malmö on August 5th, 2016. The rare video has now been released on Avicii's YouTube channel for fans who weren't able to attend one of the screenings, which had taken place in the museum from March 28th to April 7th on a 100-square meter, 8K curved LED screen. Check out the footage below. In other Avicii news, the heartbreaking final moments of his life were revisited in a new documentary, Avicii: I'm Tim, which recently premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Academy Award-winning film producer Lawrence Bender is currently developing another documentary about Avicii. The project, which Bender called "eye-opening," will feature interviews with the legendary DJ's family and friends as well as "previously unreleased footage" recorded around the time of his discovery and rise to fame. The documentary's producers have not announced a release date at the time of this writing.
  14. Belfast, Northern Ireland-based DJ/producer Billy Gillies returned alongside Welsh singer-songwriter Betsy for ‘Fair’, just a couple weeks ago. The track, which already proved to be a viral fan favorite around the world via a series of popular TikTok videos has taken off even more, quickly becoming the producers most liked singles. This one followed last year’s ‘DNA (Loving You)’ ft. Hannah Boleyn, which proved to be Gillies’ biggest success thus far with more than 100 million worldwide streams and over 100 million creations on TikTok to date. We had the pleasure of chatting with this emerging talent about this single, his brand new one, and a number of other topics. Hey Billy Gillies, thanks for taking the time to chat with us, how are you doing today? Hey I’m really good, just touched down in Magaluf for a sold out show at Mansion Mallorca tonight so I’m buzzing to be here, played here a few times last year and it’s always great energy so let’s go! Let’s kick things off with your brand new single ‘Fair’, how happy are you for it to be out now? I’m absolutely delighted to finally get it out, it’s been one of my most requested tracks to be released and the feedback I’ve had from it so far has been amazing. The single is almost like a homage to the uplifting era of trance, is that something you aimed for or did it come as you were making the single? Trance is where it all started for me and it will always hold a big place in my heart. When I heard the Betsy vocal I knew I would do something amazing with it. The project just flowed and I’m really happy with the outcome, I have a huge trance fan base and wanted to bring out something for them, as that’s where my music career started and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them. So a special thank you to all my loyal fans. This single follows on from the massively successful ‘DNA’, did you feel any pressure to follow up on that single with another hit? I definitely felt the pressure with the follow up. With DNA being my first original release on Atlantic Records, I never really knew what to expect with it and didn’t expect it to go as big as it did. I’m still on a buzz with how successful it has been. For me it’s never been about making “hits,” that will always be a massive bonus. For me it’s about staying true to my sound and making music I enjoy whether it’s underground club music, trance, house, techno or anything in between. Speaking of ‘DNA’, when creating it and getting it ready for release, did you have an idea on how big it might be? I knew it was going to be a big hit in my dj sets but I never would have imagined it going as big as it did. I think it will definitely go down as a dance classic. That single, along with your new and old releases, all seem to have a slightly different style/vibe to them, how important is it for you to be as dynamic as possible with your releases? Yes I love to be as diverse as possible with what I produce. For me it’s all about stepping outside the box, keeping an open mind and experimenting while staying true to what inspires me, that’s what keeps it fun in the studio. You’re heading on the road to play a number of shows, what is it like for you to step on stage and the crowd recognise your singles? Honestly it is the best feeling in the world hearing the masses sing back a track or even just chanting back the melodies. For me this is something I’ve always dreamed of and I have to really pinch myself sometimes. I don’t think it will ever really feel real. I feel so blessed to be in this position. Sharing my music with different audiences around the world is something I’m very grateful for. What is the one tune that you must play when performing? There are quite a few but over the past couple of years, “Lagoon” has been a track I have always included in my sets as the reaction that one gets every time is just crazy. I actually have something special coming with an amazing singer on it. It’s a perfect summer track so keep your eyes peeled on that! Thanks for taking the time to speak with us, do you have anything else you’d like to say to our readers? Just want to say thank you for taking the time to check out this interview. Also a massive thank you to all my loyal fans around the world. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you’s. Keep an eye out for more releases this year, I have got a lot more amazing music to share with yous all.
  15. SYML’s haunting track ‘Where’s My Love‘ has been given a fresh spin. On Friday, June 14th, tech-house duo Tube & Berger and fellow German producer Nick Schwenderling unveiled their remix of the song, released on ZEHN Records. But, who’s SYML? For those unfamiliar, SYML is the brainchild of Brian Fennell, a Seattle-based musician who has made waves in the industry with his multifaceted talents. As an accomplished instrumentalist (particularly on guitar), producer, and vocalist, Fennell has amassed an impressive following, with his music garnering over one billion streams. This remix is nothing short of magnetic. It seamlessly blends SYML’s unique vocals with the tech-house production prowess of Tube & Berger and the innovative musical style of Nick Schwenderling. The result? A track that’s both emotionally charged and irresistibly danceable. Why this remix stands out What makes this remix stand out is its ability to evoke deep emotions while simultaneously fueling an urge to move. The rolling baseline serves as a solid foundation, complemented by emotive instrumentals and a rich tapestry of percussive melodies. It’s the kind of track you can’t help but put on repeat, each listen revealing new layers and nuances. Perhaps the most striking aspect of this remix is its duality. On one hand, it taps into the raw emotion of SYML’s original, allowing listeners to connect with the passion in the lyrics and vocals. On the other, it infuses the song with an addictive energy that’s bound to get feet tapping and bodies swaying. It’s a delicate balance that the producers have managed to strike perfectly. New to SYML? For fans of SYML, this remix offers a fresh perspective on a beloved track. For those new to his work, it serves as an enticing introduction to his enthralling, melodic vocals. And for tech-house enthusiasts, it’s a masterclass in how to respectfully reimagine a song while adding your own distinctive flair. If you haven’t had the chance to experience this musical gem yet, I highly recommend giving it a listen. It’s available now on all major streaming platforms. Trust me, one play is all it takes to fall in love with this captivating fusion of SYML’s vocals and Tube & Berger and Nick Schwenderling’s production magic. 20. One of the most prolific and unforgettable experiences in dance music without a doubt belongs to ODESZA. The duo have made a name for themselves with their euphoric music along with their incredible live show presentation. This past weekend, ODESZA arrived in NYC to perform 3 B2B sold out shows at the iconic Madison Square Garden as part of their The Last Goodbye Finale Tour. The opening acts for the 3 New York shows was dependent on the night you attended but it included the likes of talented electronic producers such as Bob Moses and Ben Bohmer. It’s obvious that the artists selected for support were very strategically chosen to compliment ODESZA’s grand performance experience. Bob Moses presented a live show performance with instruments while Ben Bohmer played out all of his biggest hits. When it came time for the main event, ODESZA’s mesmerizing drumline marched out to the stage and the duo of ODESZA climbed the podium and emerged at their decks. The pyrotechnics and fireworks during the show for their shows are always next level. They brought out a handful of surprise guests to sing their biggest hits. To make this show extra special, ODESZA put together a handful of VIP Remixes that they played out including their hits ‘Say My Name’ and ‘Forgive Me’. This weekend they’ll be taking their show to Boulder, Colorado before heading over to the final stop on their tour at The Gorge in Washington. Whether these stops are in your city or not, if you haven’t seen them yet on this tour, make sure to make effort to head out to one of their final shows on this tour. 21. The Recording Academy just announced some new rule changes for the 2025 Grammys, and they’re shaking things up for the Dance/Electronic music community. First up, the Best Pop Dance Recording category got a new name: Best Dance Pop Recording. This isn’t just a minor tweak but a move to clear up any confusion. The category was created to highlight dance pop music, but the original name was causing a lot of mix-ups. Media outlets kept mislabeling it, and people couldn’t tell if it was a pop award or a dance award. The new name should help it settle into its intended role, making sure it’s seen as a home for pop-leaning dance tracks and keeping the best dance/electronic recording category focused on more traditional electronic sounds. Best Remixed Recording Next, we have a big change for the Best Remixed Recording category. This award, which has always been a favorite among dance/electronic artists, is now officially part of the pop and dance/electronic field. Remixing is a huge part of the dance scene, so it makes sense to move it out of the production and engineering field. Past winners like Frankie Knuckles, David Guetta, and Skrillex are proof of how intertwined remixing is with dance music. Best Dance/Electronic Album Another tweak is the renaming of the Best Dance/Electronic Music Album to simply Best Dance/Electronic Album. The word “music” was just extra, so they dropped it. More importantly, the new definition requires that albums must be at least 50% dance/electronic to qualify. This change likely comes in response to Beyoncé’s Renaissance winning in 2023, despite not being entirely a dance/electronic album. This update aims to keep the category focused on albums that truly represent the genre. Finally, there’s a change that affects multiple categories but is particularly significant for dance music. Now, all credited featured artists with less than 50% playtime on an album will automatically get a winners’ certificate if the album wins. Before, only producers and engineers in similar roles received these certificates. Featured artists had to apply for one, and many didn’t even know they could. This new rule ensures they get recognized without any extra hassle. This change is a big deal for diversity in the dance/electronic categories. Aluna, an artist who co-proposed the change, celebrated the news, pointing out that featured artists deserve recognition for their contributions. Now, every featured artist on a Grammy-winning album will get a certificate, giving credit where it’s due. These updates are set to make a significant impact on how dance/electronic music is recognized at the 2025 Grammys, creating more clarity and fairness in the awards process. 22. Electronic music powerhouses Don Diablo and R3HAB have joined forces for the first time after a decade cross paths on their new summer hit “Disco Marathon,” featuring British duo NEEKA. This collaboration merges Don Diablo’s innovative production with R3HAB’s dynamic energy, resulting in a track that’s set to dominate the season. “Disco Marathon” is a technicolor explosion of sound, blending Don’s innovative production techniques with R3HAB’s dynamic style. The end result is a track that feels both familiar and refreshingly new, a perfect encapsulation of a summer of carefree hedonism. Uplifting piano melodies dance atop commanding beats, creating a sonic landscape that’s impossible to resist. NEEKA’s captivating vocals add another layer of depth to the track infusing “Disco Marathon” with an infectious energy that complements both producers’ instrumental backbone. The London-based duo, known for their writing credits with artists like Drake, Michael Jackson, and Avicii, prove to be the ideal collaborators for this crossover hit. The single arrives at a time when both producers are riding high on a wave of successful releases. R3HAB has been stacking collaborations with artists like Jason Derulo and Sam Feldt, while Don Diablo recently teamed up with Major Lazer and Felix Jaehn. With “Disco Marathon,” Don Diablo, R3HAB, and NEEKA have created a track that transcends the typical summer hit. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration and most importantly, an undeniable banger — a rare breed of dance track that manages to feel both nostalgic and forward-thinking; an homage to disco’s golden age firmly planted in mainstream EDM sensibilities. 23. In an era where authenticity is often discussed but rarely achieved, BOMBAYS is the real deal. Few artists manage to carve out a space that’s truly their own but BOMBAYS, the alter ego of Nikhil Thakar, a first-generation Indian-American producer is doing just that. His latest track “ROYALE” is more than just a house banger—it’s a sonic manifesto of cultural identity and artistic courage. Born into the duality of first-generation immigrant life, Thakar faced the archetypal crossroads: follow the well-trodden path of business school and corporate success, or dive headfirst into the uncertain waters of artistic passion. In a move that would make even the most daring risk-takers pause, Thakar chose music, trading GMAT prep for production courses at the renowned Icon Collective in Los Angeles. “ROYALE” emerges as the crystallization of this bold journey. The track opens with a hypnotic vocal sample, lifted from a classic Bollywood film that once echoed through Thakar’s childhood home. This isn’t mere nostalgia; it’s a deliberate bridging of worlds, a musical handshake between the India of his parents and the electronic landscape he now inhabits. As the vocal gives way to a pulsating bassline, BOMBAYS’ production prowess takes center stage. The groove is relentless, a four-on-the-floor heartbeat that drives the track forward while subtle rhythmic flourishes nod to South Asian percussion traditions. It’s in these details that Thakar’s vision truly shines—each element carefully crafted to honor his heritage while pushing the boundaries of contemporary house music. But “ROYALE” is more than just a clever fusion of sounds. It’s a statement piece in an industry that BOMBAYS found lacking in representation, particularly for artists of South Asian descent. By infusing his music with unmistakable Bollywood influences, Thakar isn’t just making a track; he’s planting a flag. The post BOMBAYS breaks barriers on ‘ROYALE’ appeared first on Dancing Astronaut.
  24. Berlin-based electronic duo TWO LANES have returned with their latest offering, the “Innervision” EP, a four-track journey that seamlessly blends their signature melancholic electronica with newfound vocal elements. Brothers Leo and Rafa continue to push the boundaries of their sound, creating a sonic landscape that’s both familiar and refreshingly innovative. Throughout “Innervision,” the duo demonstrate their ability to create electronic music that feels deeply human. The brothers’ contrasting musical backgrounds – Leo’s classical piano training and Rafa’s electronic production expertise – merge to create something greater than the sum of its parts. It’s this synthesis of organic and digital elements that gives TWO LANES their unique identity in the crowded electronic music landscape. Opening with “Abstraction,” the EP immediately immerses listeners in their ethereal world. The track’s minor chord progressions and understated house percussion create a foundation for a web of subtle electronic textures. It’s a masterclass in minimalism, where every carefully placed element contributes to a greater whole, evoking a sense of introspective melancholy that sets the tone for the entire EP. “Mind” marks a departure from the duo’s typically instrumental approach, introducing vocals that add a new dimension to their sound. The track builds with an anthemic quality, its crescendoing synths and driving rhythm creating a cathartic release. There’s a cinematic quality to “Mind” that conjures images of personal triumph, as if soundtracking the climax of an emotional journey. The EP’s third track, “Balance,” lives up to its name by striking a delicate equilibrium between introspection and forward motion. Piano melodies intertwine with arpeggiating synths and strings, creating a meditative atmosphere punctuated by restrained percussion. It’s a moment of calm within the storm, allowing listeners a chance to reflect amidst the EP’s emotional ebb and flow. Closing out the collection, “Synthesis” serves as both a culmination and an evolution of the EP’s themes. Building on the foundation laid by “Balance,” the track introduces a slightly more urgent energy while maintaining the core TWO LANES sound. Pulsing rhythms and layered synthesizers create a sense of resolution, bringing the EP’s narrative arc to a satisfying conclusion.
