  4. One of the most defining IDs of 2023’s Burning Man just saw the light of day. Great news comes to you today from the generous world of the Deeper House family, as the Electronic duo ARTEMIDES, consisting of Seth Schwarz and Lydgen, has finally released their much-awaited single ‘Matter of Time (Stars Align)‘. This is arguably their most requested ID ever, and we’re delighted to have it officially released just days before the start of this year’s Burning Man. The Burning Man detail is quite important in this case, as the track became one of the unofficial anthems of last year’s edition, jumping from DJ to DJ, quickly spreading across USBs on the playa like wildfire. ‘Matter of Time’ is a melodic journey that combines Lydgen’s powerful vocals with Seth’s virtuosic violin playing, creating a unique, memorable sound that has stuck with listeners ever since. ‘Matter of Time (Stars Align)’ The track is an Organic House masterpiece. It’s not only iconically beautiful — a characteristic so core to ARTEMIDES’ sound —, but it’s also quite catchy. So, one way or another, it’s got the formula for success. It’s a laid-back piece that, to be frank, at times wants to make you tear up. The warm pads and the chords portray emotion from all angles. (Left to right) Seth Schwarz, Lydgen. Credit: Alena Stalmashonak “This track resembles one of the great wisdoms we were able to tap into while considering our long term relationship as soul mates: Some of the biggest manifestations are a matter of time – and now we see the stars align” -ARTEMIDES I can see why this song was such a defining one at last year’s Burn. It sounds ideal for a sunset, or a sunrise, or just a moment together, among like-minded people dancing along. The love poured into it truly shows. Some of you may have met the duo as part of the ADID Winter Sampler released earlier in the year. This one is a worthy successor to ‘Create The Universe’. 5. Rebūke‘s 2018 hit ‘Along Came Polly‘ is back, reimagined for a new era. This track, originally a favorite among underground DJs, made waves with its infectious riff and relentless beat. Now, it returns with fresh energy, thanks to a collaboration between Konstantin Sibold, ZAC, and CARMEE. A Trio of Talent Revives a Classic The original version of ‘Along Came Polly’, released in 2018, was a game-changer. Rebūke’s unique sound made it a staple in sets worldwide. In 2024, the remix from Konstantin Sibold, ZAC, and CARMEE brings a fresh perspective. They’ve taken that iconic riff and paired it with a more powerful instrumental. As a result, this version hits even harder. But this is not the first time we heard this mix. In fact, it’d been teased worldwide for two entire years. The Extended Breakdown Adds New Energy One standout feature of this remix is the extended breakdown. The trio took the hypnotic elements from the original and amplified them. The buildup teases the drop, creating a heightened sense of anticipation. This remix isn’t just a rework; it’s a complete transformation that’s sure to energize any dancefloor. From Heavy Rotation to a Long-Awaited Release Since 2022, this remix has been in heavy rotation, creating buzz among fans. After two years, it’s finally available for everyone. This reimagined ‘Along Came Polly’ is set to dominate 2024 playlists, continuing Rebūke’s legacy and captivating new listeners. Konstantin Sibold, ZAC, and CARMEE‘s remix of Rebūke’s ‘Along Came Polly‘ is out now on Afterlife, and can be streamed below, enjoy! 6. Iconic GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum Electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia have released a remix of their latest single ‘Lioness‘ feat. Nikki & The Dove (Francis Mercier Remix) via Republic Records. Originally released in June, ‘Lioness’ had been highly requested by fans since the record’s live premiere in 2023. Mercier brings the Afro House vibe to the original track, making it a perfect song for the end of the summer. Prior to ‘Lioness’, Swedish House Mafia’s single ‘Ray Of Solar‘ had been released in August. The angelic Dance-ready song continues Swedish House Mafia’s nearly 15-year-long journey of pushing boundaries and redefining Electronic music. As for Mercier, the Haiti-born DJ and producer continues to deliver music at an incredible pace in 2024. As a matter of fact, the ‘Lioness’ remix is already the 11th release of the year for the talented man. This weekend, SHM will be performing their last show in Ibiza to conclude their historic, 6-week Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency. The band also recently announced they will be performing at Will Ferrell’s “Ultimate DJ House Party” at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL on October 26th for a concert in support of “Cancer For College.” You can listen to Francis Mercier’s new remix below and on all available streaming platforms. 7. In a shock announcement made yesterday, legendary DJ Eric Prydz will be live-streaming his set for the first time at Creamfields North tomorrow. The announcement, made via Creamfields’ Instagram channel, stated that Prydz’s set was “history in the making“. Prydz’s approach to performances is somewhat divisive. On the one hand, he creates a detailed and emotional experience for all the fans who attend his sets. The issue, however, is that his sets are quite lengthy, with the average Eric Prydz performance lasting nearly two hours. Known for his musical ingenuity, Prydz has been a trailblazer in the Dance music scene, entertaining people for well over two decades. With the Swede’s last major release dating back to 2022, fans are hungry for some of that classic Prydz sound. His recent set at Hï Ibiza gives us a flavour of his visually bewildering shows. Prydz’s set at Creamfields North, set to take place on the ‘Steel Yard’ stage at midnight tomorrow, follows performances from artists including Pete Tong and Peggy Gou. It seems similar to Burning Man, Creamfields is also having trouble with the opening day of its event, with extreme wind delaying proceedings. It looks like the worst of the infamous British weather is now over. The UK’s biggest Dance festival will welcome acts from all genres including Armin van Buuren and John Summit. Limited resale tickets are still available for the weekend, which you can buy here. The post Eric Prydz’ Creamfields Set Will Be Streamed For The First Time appeared first on EDMTunes.

The record is officially released on Reinier Zonneveld’s mighty imprint Filth on Acid. Moreover, the track is a deep plunge into the depths of pure Techno. In ‘Reloaded’, the two giants bring in highly flammable elements to the track, creating an irresistible atmosphere with powerful, fast-paced beats and a hefty bass, enhanced by spell-binding vocals. ‘Reloaded’ does not hold anything back, with top DJ and producers UMEK and Sam WOLFE unleashing their full power to thrill techno-loving crowds. 9. Some tracks never die — they simply evolve. Armin van Buuren digs deep into the archives of Dance music to breathe new life into Camisra‘s legendary ‘Let Me Show You‘. A chart-topping sensation upon its original release back in 1998, this generation-defining classic is primed for the dancefloor yet again, reimagined by one of the industry’s very best, out on Armada Music. Originally released in 1998 and soaring to the top 5 in the UK charts, ‘Let Me Show You’ by Camisra (an alias of ‘Tall’ Paul Newman) remains a beloved classic, still frequently played today by top-tier DJs like James Hype, Jax Jones and the indomitable Solomun. Now more than 25 years later, this shimmering rave gem is getting a new lease on life as Armin van Buuren takes the reins, reshaping the classic’s timeless energy for both the darkest dance floors and brightest festival stages of today. The 2024 release reinvents the original with a harder edge, offering a high-energy sonic experience that intensifies the iconic breakdown with elevated synths and unmistakable vocal hits, delivering a fresh yet familiar vibe for today’s audience. Having already proven itself a winner at Tomorrowland Winter, the new version of ‘Let Me Show You’ has all the ingredients to dominate the rest of the festival season. Armin reflects: “Sometimes, to move forward, you need to look back. When I first heard ‘Let Me Show You’, it was clear that this track needed a revival, not a reinvention. The original has so much character — I just wanted to enhance what was already there and make it feel fresh for my sets. It’s been a summer anthem.” Armin’s approach to this rework is all about balance. He preserves the core elements that made ‘Let Me Show You’ an instant classic — the kinetic drums, the bold, rounded synths — while leaving his indelible mark with deeper bass cuts and an even more dramatic drop than the lauded original. You can listen to it below and on all available streaming platforms. Stay tuned for more news! The post Armin van Buuren Reimagines Camisra’s ‘Let Me Show You’ appeared first on EDMTunes.

  11. Despite facing the formidable challenge of Hurricane Debby, which forced the cancellation of its first full day of programming, Elements Music & Arts Festival delivered with resilience and spirit in 2024. Spread across four days and nights, the festival turned what could have been a major setback into a testament to the power of the dance music community. Elements kicked off with a Thursday pre-party featuring two of its four stages. The Air Stage hosted a takeover from the beloved Desert Hearts with sets from co-founders Porky, Marbs, Lee Reynolds and Mikey Lion. In similar fashion, the Water Stage hosted a Memory Palace takeover featuring performances by Player Dave, FLY, LYNY and founder Of The Trees, the lattermost of whom was named to the EDM.com Class of 2024. Of The Trees performing at Elements 2024.Lo Morrell Festival-goers got a taste of what was to come, but the weather had other plans. With Hurricane Debby making her presence known, Friday’s conditions deteriorated to the point of complete cancellation. No one could enter the festival's grounds and those attempting to arrive were rightly turned away for their own safety—a difficult call, but a necessary one considering the grounds were in no condition to accommodate camping attendees. Friday night's headliners took matters into their own hands, bringing the party to Elements' sound camps. This is a separate group camping area that uniquely encourages attendees to create their own stages for afterparty sets. Those that braved the rain were lucky enough to stumble across renegade sets from Tape B, INZO, Boogie T and others from Friday’s lineup. And by the time Saturday rolled around, the energy was naturally as electric as the storm itself. Lo Morell The festival's grounds, once battered by the storm, had been revived by Elements' hardworking staff. We could finally immerse ourselves in everything the festival had to offer. That included four elementally-themed mainstages, the Disco Den, Fun Box, roaming performances and even a speakeasy hidden through a porta-potty upon which festival-goers could stumble. Lo Morell Major b2b sets added to the festival's allure in 2024. AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo’s Fly With Us threw down on Saturday, building on the energy from Dr. Fresch’s set and leading perfectly into SLANDER's rip-roaring close of the Fire Stage. More standout b2b sets followed on Sunday, like VNSSA and Nala's Girl Math and a high-energy closing set from Chris Lake and Cloonee. Before the final evening, we were all invited to join LSDREAM for a much-needed respite with LIGHTCODE, the producer's sound bath meditation experience. It allowed attendees to recharge and reflect while an unfamiliar yet comfortable silence swept the grounds. Andrew Rauner Ready to take on the day, it took no time for the music and energy to bubble back to life. Those who wandered over to the Water Stage were lucky enough to catch a secret "Elements Legends DnB Set" featuring none other than Barclay Crenshaw. Anyone who has caught a set by Claude VonStroke's bass music alias might have guessed that he would be the one delivering the gas—no brakes—to kick off the final evening. As Elements Festival came to its climactic close, attendees had the luxury of choosing their final set from a stellar lineup of closing acts: Sara Landry, Subtronics, Chris Lake b2b Cloonee, or an ethereal Bob Moses’ club set. Each offered a unique vibe, ensuring that everyone could find their perfect ending to this weekend full of surprises. In the end, Elements 2024 proved that even in the face of nature’s fury, the show can and will go on. We were left with stories of resilience, community and incredible music that we won't soon forget. You can keep a pulse on Elements and register for updates on its 2025 edition here. 12. Porter Robinson's musical evolution is taking center stage in his first-ever world tour, which he says echoes the career-spanning nature of Taylor Swift's historic "Eras Tour." The tour takes its name from his stunning SMILE! :D album, which released in late-July. Robinson today revealed the tour's setlist via Apple Music, with whom he opened up about his approach. "What's going to be insanely joyous for me to play onstage?" he said. "What if I went as a fan of Porter right now? What would be the ultimate experience?" Robinson then said he's planning "a bit of an Eras Tour," developing a career retrospective in the vein of Swift's record-breaking run. "Eras" in late-2023 became the highest-grossing tour of all-time after surpassing $1 billion in revenue. Porter Robinson.c/o Press The influential producer and singer-songwriter will perform most of SMILE! :D before taking fans on a nostalgic trip through 2014's prized debut album, Worlds, and 2021's scintillating follow-up, Nurture. The performances will close with the deeply personal SMILE! :D cut "Russian Roulette," which Robinson called his favorite song from the record. "It's this three-minute, far-off-the-mic, emo-acoustic buildup that leads into this crazy trance drop at the end," he explained. "I just feel like ending the show with that is going to be this absolute catharsis explosion." As Robinson prepares to take his fans through his own musical odyssey, anticipation is building for a show that could redefine indie-electronic performances, much like Swift's tour has done for pop concerts. "I think this would be a really good first Porter show to go see, to be honest," he added. "I think anybody who’s going to see me for the first time, who’s maybe only familiar with one of the albums, will walk away from this show with three or four more new favorites and be like, 'Oh, my God. I’ve got to go back and listen to that.'" Fans can check out the full setlist via Apple Music and purchase tickets to the "SMILE! :D" tour here. 13. Music Festivals have been taking a beating this year. The weather has wreaked havoc on festivals including Ultra Miami, Electric Forest, Elements, Bass Canyon, and more. Now we can add Creamfields to the list of those that have delayed opening due to stormy weather and high winds. Called Storm Lilian, high winds has caused flight cancelations and cut power to hundreds of homes. Yellow warnings for wind are in place on Friday morning and expectations of gusts of up to 80mph. Attendees have been told to sit in their cars and not their tents. They are also not letting in anyone as of Friday morning until the winds have calmed down. Tents have been seen flying away. The Leeds Festival stated on X that it would be unable to open the main arena on time and would not be opening the BBC Radio 1 or Aux stages at all on Friday. According to meteorologists, the high winds should pass by nighttime and the rest of the weekend should be a success. The masked, anonymous bass music tandem share a name with OutKast's sophomore album, ATLiens, which released in 1996 via LaFace Records and Arista Records. "The word ATLiens was invented by OutKast," according to the suit. "Before OutKast created it, it was not used in the cultural lexicon and did not exist. Defendant's use of the ATLiens mark is likely to cause confusion, to cause mistake, or to deceive the public." The record is "one of OutKast’s most well-known and well-regarded songs," according to the lawsuit, which also rebukes ATLiens' repeated performances of the song during their DJ sets. André 3000 and Big Boi have also taken aim at ATLiens' signature masks, which the lawsuit claims leads to confusion surrounding the two groups' identities. OutKast's legal team reportedly attempted to "negotiate an amicable resolution to the dispute," but ATLiens continued to use the name "in confusing ways." "The duo comprising defendant performs with masks on, thereby concealing their identities such that consumers will mistakenly believe that the members of Defendant are one and the same with—or at least somehow connected to—plaintiff," per Outkast's lawyers. ATLiens have not publicly commented on the lawsuit at the time of this writing.

  17. Louis The Child are once again ready to bring the warmth of endless summer days to dancefloors with their newly announced album, The Sun Comes Up. Dropping on September 20th via Interscope, their highly anticipated sophomore album promises to encapsulate the carefree yet poignant sound that has long-defined the duo for the better part of a decade. The announcement comes hand-in-hand with the release of its lead single, "Make You Mine." The track effortlessly intertwines infectious house rhythms with the complex feelings of longing and devotion. Aided by longtime collaborator Whethan and infused with the enchanting vocals of Hayley May, "Make You Mine" is a celebration of emotional connection through music. The superstar duo's reunion with Whethan follows their previous collaborative bout, "Hurts" alongside Wafia way back in 2019. "Make You Mine" unfurls with spirited vocals that echo sentiments of desire—feelings that are amplified by the track’s prominently punchy bassline. The production excels through its simplicity, with pitched-down vocal chops and a syncopated rhythm that gives the song its driving force. The result is a love anthem that's both introspective and irresistibly danceable. Louis The Child and Whethan first crossed paths in the vibrant Chicago music scene nearly a decade ago and since that time, they've shared a creative synergy that continues to evolve. "We've known Whethan for almost 10 years now and came up around the same time in Chicago," Louis The Child said in a press release shared with EDM.com. "We shared a studio back then and moved to L.A. around the same time to continue our pursuit of music... He's someone we look at as a brother, and getting to release another song with him is really special." Fans can pre-save The Sun Comes Up now. 18. Mystic State continue to push the boundaries of bass music in their new EP, Yozakura. In the four-track EP, the Bristol-based production duo curate a stunning exploration of sound while staying true to their authentic style. The release arrives via Chord Marauders, an imprint they say has "helped inspire and shape [their] sound than perhaps any other record label out there." They begin with "Xoyo," where haunting melodies immerse us in Mystic State's spine-chilling universe. The illusory track, which Mystic State called one of their favorite pieces of music they've ever produced, evokes the feeling of exploring uncharted territory in our dreams. Entering into "Yozakura," a sense of tranquility and curiosity overwhelms the senses as expertly-woven layers of synths and percussive elements throb with palpable depth. "The Perfection" immediately captures our attention with punchy drums and an enthralling beat. Its vocal sample tugs at the heartstrings before giving way to a poignant breakdown, showcasing the duo's uncanny ability to bottle nostalgia in their soundscapes. Distorted voices and the sounds of human commotion usher in the EP's final song, "What We Have." The track's deep basslines build to a soothing voice that monologues themes of togetherness and gratitude. Mystic State then hit us with a clean breakdown of rich percussion, weaving a narrative of thankfulness and shared emotion. "This is our Yozakura EP, which we believe to be a true reflection of where our sound is at currently," the duo wrote on Instagram. "Hopefully there’s something on this EP for every one of you." 19. Fifteen years ago, on August 24, 2009, David Guetta released ‘One More Love’, an album that would become a defining moment in both his career and the evolution of electronic dance music. This album, a reissue of his fourth studio album ‘One Love’, was packed with chart-topping hits and collaborations that bridged the gap between the underground club scene and mainstream pop, solidifying Guetta‘s status as one of the most influential figures in the music industry. ‘One More Love’ is a testament to Guetta‘s ability to blend infectious dance beats with pop sensibilities, creating tracks that not only dominated dance floors but also conquered radio waves across the globe. The album featured some of the biggest names in music, including Kelly Rowland, Akon, Kid Cudi, and Estelle, showcasing Guetta‘s knack for bringing together diverse talents to create something truly special. The album’s lead singles, ‘When Love Takes Over’ featuring Kelly Rowland and ‘Sexy Bitch’ featuring Akon, became instant classics, topping charts worldwide and earning platinum certifications in multiple countries. These tracks, with their irresistible hooks and anthemic choruses, helped to popularize the fusion of house music with pop, paving the way for the EDM explosion that would dominate the 2010s. Another standout track, ‘Memories’ featuring Kid Cudi, further demonstrated Guetta‘s ability to craft songs that resonate with a broad audience, blending introspective lyrics with an upbeat, danceable rhythm. The album also included the massive hit ‘Gettin’ Over You’, featuring Chris Willis, Fergie, and LMFAO, which became another anthem for the summer of 2010. ‘One More Love’ not only showcased Guetta‘s evolution as a producer but also his vision for the future of dance music. 20. A fragmented mind finds its glue in Shattered Reflections, the new EP from BERNZIKIAL. Out now on Bear Grillz's Rude Service imprint, the five-track EP is a captivating sonic collage that blends the driving energy of dubstep and riddim with intricate, textured melodies. The Orlando-based producer masterfully weaves together these disparate elements, creating a listening experience that's both visceral and evocative. He demonstrates a keen ear for sonic detail throughout, crafting intricate yet heavy-hitting tracks that reward close listening. Synths shimmer and glitch, percussion patterns interlock in hypnotic fashion, and the low end hits with a gut-punching force. The titular track of Shattered Reflections sets the tone with a haunting intro, where a sample of a conversation between partners in a deteriorating relationship mirrors the tempestuous future bass sounds in the drop. Elsewhere in the EP, he produces dark Wave music in "Thinking of You," which feels like a sonic exploration of fragmented identity. That search for meaning amid the chaos of modern life is key, according to BERNZIKIAL, who says he has struggled with suicidal thoughts. "Mental health is a deeply personal and sensitive subject for me, as I'm sure it is for many others who have faced similar struggles," he tells EDM.com. "I've been in dark places and have tried to end it all multiple times, but I came to realize that I'm still here for a reason. That reason, for me, is to share my story through my art and to create meaningful, transformative experiences with my music and performances." Shattered Reflections is out now to align with BERNZIKIAL's upcoming performance at Orlando's Tavern East, where he will headline a charity fundraiser for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). All proceeds will benefit the organization's efforts to raise awareness of mental health issues. "Although mental health is gaining more attention each year, I’ve noticed that in the music industry, it still doesn't get the consistent focus it deserves," he adds. "I believe it's not enough to just acknowledge it for a month—we need to keep these conversations going, especially in spaces where it's often overlooked. My goal is to contribute to that dialogue and encourage others to do the same." BERNZIKIAL is set for a special 360° performance at the show, which is scheduled for Saturday, August 24th.
