  1. Listen to the most flavour-packed tracks we discovered this week. Music makes the world go round. And in that regard, we’re constantly on the lookout for new, exciting tunes to share with our audience. We’ve found some that cause goosebumps, and make you open your eyes and get up from your chair to dance. So put on your best pair of headphones, or turn up your speakers, and enjoy this week’s New Music Friday. Here are our top picks for the best music we came across this week, in no particular order. Awon, DVDDY & Vanthe feat. Scaretix – Down Below Genre: Dubstep Kicking off this week’s NMF we’ve got a very, very powerful tune. Get ready for ‘Down Below‘, the latest bomb born from a three-way collaboration: Awon, DVDDY, and Vanthe. Literally, get ready, because this one packs a tremendous punch. Counting with the incredible fry vocals of Scaretix, this track is the perfect hybrid between Hard Rock and the toughest corner of Dance music. Enjoy both the powerful breaks and the even more powerful drops, in a composition that is sure to ignite festivals worldwide with the sheer amount of filth it’s got to it. Adventure Club & Jessica Audiffred – HERO Genre: Dubstep We continue our journey through this Friday with a band that needs absolutely no introduction. Adventure Club have been atop the Dubstep and related game for over a decade by now, and this time they’ve teamed up with A Records founder Jessica Audiffred for an equally energetic single, ‘HERO‘. The Grammy-nominated duo and the Bass connoisseur have gone to new lengths on this one, rocking a fast-paced break with rolling percussion, to then introduce the screaming, screeches belonging to the drops. If you were a fan of the last track, you are for sure going to love this one. JULIENT & Inflection – Believe Genre: Melodic House, Progressive House The next song in this week’s compilation is truly a wonderful piece. A double-down on German talent, JULIENT and Inflection worked together on this beautiful track, ‘Believe‘. The whole piece feels like a bath of calm and gives a sense of belonging, amidst soft synths and warm textures. The vocals themselves also portray a message, and quite a powerful one too. According to JULIENT, the lyrics were made to be uplifting, accompanying the instrumental. “There’s a lot of negative energy in the air and a lot of nonsense that is sometimes delivered to us where you feel like ‘this is the end’“, he says. “But we should still believe, believe in us, in our loved ones, this planet and that there’s hope“. Trust The Aux – Keep Up Genre: House, Disco A new band is in town! And they’re releasing proper bangers right from the get-go. Trust The Aux is the brainchild of Nadamás and Laedon, one that was born to make the world dance in proper vintage fashion once again. Their debut single, ‘Keep Up‘, is out now, and it’s an infectiously catchy one. At a daring 134 BPM, the track brings a Disco sample to our Dance-devoted plates, through clever processing and a bit of ingenuity, and it all results in a rather fast-paced House-by-definition tune. You won’t want to miss this if you’re a fan of these nods to the past. R!DM – Gospel Genre: Drum & Bass We’re used to the super saturated Drum & Bass beats in these modern times, those that sound really nice but always have power in mind. Well, we’re happy to welcome R!DM back to our NMF series! Last year we had him in November with his track ‘Identity’, and now he’s back with another one of his sweet and savoury pieces. ‘Gospel‘ is a track that came to life from flipping a super old Gospel sample. The end result is as catchy as it is easygoing. You can relax to it or clap along, and both will work just fine. Truly a work of art. Oh, did I mention the bass lines and the Rhodes? Blown away. R3HAB & Da Tweekaz – My Girl Genre: Hardstyle, Reverse Bass You’ve been hearing Adam Beyer et. al’s ‘PATT’ remix for a while now, but could you imagine something like a Harder flip on that track? Well, from one set of pros to another. Multi-platinum DJ and producer R3HAB and famed Norwegian Hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz combine their forces for their new collaborative single ‘My Girl‘. Uniting for the first time ever, the boys deliver an explosive production with true rave energy courtesy of the former and Hardstyle-influenced beats from the latter, making for a memorable debut collaboration and a guaranteed crowd-pleaser just in time for the summer festival season. Arcando feat. Hachi Day – Buss Back Genre: Drum & Bass Welcome back, Arcando! The Dutch producer has been on an absolute skyrocketing rise lately, ever since Martin Garrix supported his remix of Alok & The Chainsmokers’ ‘Jungle’ at Ultra. And with good reason, as his pieces are phenomenal. We’ve covered his music a handful of times by now, and this time he’s back for more. Coming from a successful multi-genre background of producing EDM, 2024 marks Arcando’s official transition into Drum & Bass. And certainly one of those transition tracks is this one, ‘Buss Back‘, a powerful tune ready to steal the mainstage spots at all major festivals this summer. Harshil Kamdar feat. soleil – Leave You Again Genre: Uplifting Trance Closing this NMF on such a high note this time. We’re fans of Blue Dot, and so having this new track featured in here feels like a blessing. Young prodigy Harshil Kamdar released a true Uplifting Trance single, ‘Leave You Again‘, featuring the beautiful vocals of soleil. This one has it all you need to close your eyes and levitate. Enjoy the core Uplifting elements such as a warm piano, arpeggiated saws, open pads, and heartfelt lyrics. Kamdar managed to elevate the Trance experience with this one, providing a journey through emotions while playing with the contrasts of a warm break and a highly-energic drop. Blissful tune. 2. Tiësto, Hedex, and Basslayerz’s first-ever collaboration, “Click Click Click,” is a testament to the rising interest and evolving landscape of drum ’n’ bass in the American music scene. Hedex, who recently worked alongside drum ’n’ bass fixtures Chase & Status and ArrDee on “Liquor and Cigarettes,” impresses his contemporary, high-energy drum ’n’ bass signature on the track while BassLayerz, comprising mic man MC Spyda, emcee Blu Bomma, and selector Slipz, contribute their established vocal and production prowess, as does Tiësto. The result is a track that captures the essence of modern drum ’n’ bass while showcasing each collaborator’s unique but complementary contribution. “Click Click Click” is Tiësto’s first release of the year and arrives via Spinnin’ Records Featured image: Tiesto/Instagram The post Tiësto, Hedex, and Basslayerz make drum ‘n’ bass ‘Click Click Click’ appeared first on Dancing Astronaut.
  3. We’ve got a really beautiful LP to share with you this time. The road to Electronica is often frowned upon: few artists dare to explore beyond the boundaries of the usual four-on-the-floor divisions of Dance music. And so we’re super excited to have found an album that truly ventures toward the complexity of the creative mind, when all restrictions have been left aside. Today, Spanish producer Uner elevated his NIN3S side project to new heights, with the release of the album Beginning (The Revisions). There are a few things that capture your attention from the very beginning: firstly, the entire piece stars a heartwarming piano. And secondly, the Revisions album has been released before the original Beginning LP. Beginning (The Revisions) With much of the album recorded largely in one take, Beginning is a stunning collection of piano compositions that reflect the story of creation, as interpreted by NIN3S — which we’ll get to hear a bit further into the year. For now, and interestingly enough, ahead of the originals, we’re graced with the Revisions flips, which aim to become the B-side of the NIN3S moniker, pairing stunning beatless original arrangements with abstract, minimalistic and delicate Electronic elements. “NIN3S was a new beginning – the beginning and the end at the same time; it is the most “me” in terms of music, composition and personality“, says NIN3S. “No boundaries, not defined by gigs and clubbing, not defined by anything but to make music from the soul“. The Live Interpretations The Beginning journey doesn’t stop at the two albums, as NIN3S has crafted a from-the-ground-up, live audiovisual show. Music comes to life by the hand of stunning visuals, creating a captivating dialogue between sight and sound. We’ll get more about this soon, giving enough time for the listeners to dive into the music with eyes closed before picturing a different landscape for them. “It’s been a very gentle process of composing on my piano and letting the feelings flow, thinking about every single step of the “creation” and giving the entire composition personality through every moment of the event.” -NIN3S NIN3S — Beginning (The Revisions) Tracklist The Word Dark & Void First Waters From The Waters Ground And Dust Luminaries Creatures Our Likeness Tranquility Final Words We’re delighted to hear a composition that, instead of exploring each and every tweakable knob and parameter of a given synth, focuses its efforts on a very limited sound, the piano, and goes full back-to-basics mode, allowing that one element to shine in all its glory and, ultimately, the creator’s mind as well. Listen to NIN3S’ soothing Beginning (The Revisions) by hitting the ‘Play’ button on the Spotify player we’ve attached. And stay tuned, as we’ll be following how the two-part album concept unfolds very soon. The post NIN3S Unveils Organic Electronica Album, Beginning (The Revisions) appeared first on EDMTunes.
  4. San Pacho amplifies his signature brand of Latin-infused house and tech-house with the release of his No Guest List EP. The six-pack, which lands via Matroda’s Terminal Underground, is strategically curated for the festival circuit, integrating staples from his recent sets at EDC Las Vegas and EDC Mexico, among other events. The EP’s standout feature is its balance of road-teste crowd-pleasers and fresh material: in addition to fan-favorites like “Amor” (the EP notably includes a “VIP” of the song), No Guest List includes two new singles, “To Di Drum” and “Cha Cha Cha.” With No Guest List, San Pacho ups the ante on his Latin-infused brand of house and tech-house, demonstrating savviness and the maturity of his sound. San Pacho is currently on the road in support of the EP on his “No Guest List Part 7” tour. The live initiative includes stops in a slate of North American citites, incluing San Digeo, Atlantic City, Los Angeles, and Denver, from now through August. Hailing from Los Angeles, the DJ/producer’s innovative approach has caught the attention of industry heavyweights such as Afrojack, The Chainsmokers, and Morgan Page. “Echoes” showcases Antonix’s knack for blending compelling basslines with invigorating beats, marking another significant addition to his rapidly growing discography. 6. *Featured Cover Photo Credit: @AI.VISUALS The weekend of May 22-27 at the Buena Vista Lake hosted the latest edition of the magical Lightning in a Bottle Festival. This past weekend’s Lightning in a Bottle 2024 was a very unforgettable festival, just like many previous LIB editions in the past, with vast servings of fantastic music, art exhibits, leisure hotspots, delicious food, and diverse accommodations. Whether it was throwing it down at the Thunder stage or rejuvenating under a relaxing canopy drinking ‘kava’ while meditating, the festival over the past weekend had everything that each attendee enjoyed during their time there. Here is the summary of Lightning in a Bottle 2024, including memorable photos at the festival that showed the camaraderie of the fans and the exciting atmosphere that may encourage fans to return once more. Photo Credit: @gucciphoto Lightning in a Bottle 2024: Food, Crafts, Souvenirs And Amenities Provided A Comforting Ambience To Feel Good In Since LIB has developed a name for itself as a leader in sustainability, creativity, and vibrancy, the food and drink variety and various amenities at this past week’s festival provided the fans with many great ways to enjoy the vibes of the festival. There were vendors selling açaí bowls, poke bowls, craft pizza, bao buns, and many more delicious items. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options were also plentiful throughout the festival grounds of Lightning in a Bottle 2024, especially at the bars found at each stage. The craft and souvenir vendors also came in clutch with their variety of beautiful, creative items on display for all to see and bring home for their friends and family. The amenities were top-notch as well with the yoga and movement hotspots being outstanding locations for everyone to rejuvenate and energize themselves for more great days at the festival. Furthermore, since the festival is by a lake after all, many attendees got to experience wonderful times with old and new friends alike by swimming, wading, and simply chilling by the lake. Additionally, whether someone was camping inside their car, RV, trailer, tent, topia, or zaropa, the camping amenities were also very diverse and flexible so that the attendees could get more for their experiences throughout their time at the festival, no matter if they were there for five days, three days, or even a single one. Photo Credit: @jakewestphoto The Music Enhanced The Atmosphere Of The Festival Even More The music at LIB has always been the top fixture at each edition since it debuted in 2004 as the premier festival of the Do Lab. At this year’s festival, fans of James Blake, Fatboy Slim, Lane 8, Nora En Pure, M.I.A, and many other wonderful world-class musicians were all welcome: the acts were phenomenal overall. There were eight stages at Lightning in a Bottle 2024, especially the main stages of Thunder, Lightning, and Woogie, for all to vibe alongside their old and new friends and other like-minded music aficionados. One of the coolest things that happened was at around 2 a.m., early morning of Sunday, May 26, when Skrillex appeared at the Stacks stage as a surprise guest and really got the crowd going towards a gnarly euphoria. Another highlight of Sunday, May 26 was a surprise set that occurred during sunset at the Junkyard stage. RÜFÜS DU SOL brought out the good vibes flowing continuously with their masterful set that resonated throughout the stage and even beyond towards other surrounding areas as well. When Skrillex came on as the ultimate headliner at the Lightning stage for the final night, the crowd went wild with excitement. The crowd shook their heads with fervor and moved their arms and hands enthusiastically as Sonny kept on throwing down awesome beats and drops from beginning to end. No matter if they were nostalgic bangers like ‘Bangarang’ and ‘Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites’ or current hits such as ‘Rumble’ and ‘Badders’, Skrillex really showed the crowd at the Lightning stage why he remains one of the top legends of the Dance/Electronic music industry for over the past decade. Photo Credit: @JAMAL.EID Final Thoughts This past weekend’s LIB, once again, was a festival to never forget. Not only the music and other attractions of the festival provided the relaxed, blissful emotions that allowed one to remain there from beginning to end, but also just the whole genuine atmosphere surrounding the festival grounds. That genuine atmosphere that allows one to feel comfortable being themself while dancing and socializing with similar individuals who are also there to have a great time being who they are without fearing any judgement. For anyone who attended this past weekend’s LIB, there is no doubt that they will return to next year’s edition. 8. Have a six-piece EP that is so much more than just music. While the Dance music industry is constantly receiving gigantic amounts of new music, those tunes that make it to the top are, more often than not, the execution of a formula to appeal to a great number of individuals. Which is absolutely fair, don’t get me wrong. But the fact that the business is filled to the brim with those kinds of numbers, creates a special phenomenon: when a heartfelt piece comes by, it makes it feel much more special. Such is the case of this track, and also the larger release it belongs to. MarMar has been unveiling his debut EP Feel Okay bit by bit, and little by little. One track at a time, he’s made sure to embark listeners on a journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and love. And even though it’s a nice resource for us listeners to be able to decant emotions through the delicate work of a sensitive artist, the focal point of MarMar’s EP is, well, healing himself in the process. “I wanted to just be honest about how things are in my mind sometimes. How I’m always seeking peace. I spend a lot of time wondering what it would be like to completely Feel Okay.” ‘Feel Okay’, The Last Piece Of Feel Okay Following the release of previous singles ‘Call On You‘, ‘Try‘, ‘Heart‘, ‘Imposter‘, and ‘Without‘, the France-based American producer saved the best for last, as the sixth and final composition of his Feel Okay EP is, at last, the title track, ‘Feel Okay‘. Throughout the single, MarMar transforms his mental health struggles into music, creating a raw and honest exploration of his emotional landscape. He shares his path to inner peace, hoping his song and the EP as a whole will act as a bridge that connects him with listeners on a deep and meaningful level. A profound reflection of his very own insightful thoughts can be seen by following the lyrics, whose recurrent lines are: “I feel like I’m doing everything I can // And maybe that’s the problem, me trying to stand // What if I feel ok, when will that even happen? // What if I start to pray, not chasing what I haven’t been?“. 10. ROSSY has released a new single, "STAR," teaming up with Princess Superstar for a bass-fueled anthem that pulsates with a rebellious spirit. Featuring drops that run roughshod with serrated synths and trunk-thumping 808s, ROSSY's latest trap banger is an adrenaline shot straight to the jugular. It's an aural onslaught, an in-your-face celebration of women empowerment fueled by the kind of white-knuckle intensity that has catapulted ROSSY as one of the genre's brightest producers. Amidst the controlled chaos, Princess Superstar's vocal hook detonates with a braggadocious swagger, taunting rivals with the song's central lyrical grenade and daring any pretenders to even try matching their uncompromising authenticity. "STAR" is not only ROSSY's first track of 2024, but also her debut on Thrive. The release is more of a rallying cry than a song—it's phosphorescent war paint, a clarion call for a new generation of young, hungry female producers in the electronic music scene. "I love girl power and working with other women, and am all about people owning themselves and their self-confidence," ROSSY said in a press release. "Her line 'you just can’t do it like me' captures this affirmation perfectly." Listen to "STAR" below and find the new single on streaming platforms here. 11. Here comes a delicious, guitar-characterised two-tracker, just out of the oven. In a powerful dance music team-up, Diego Hernan and EddyThron have joined forces to release a killer EP. Last Goodbyes is the product of their friendship brought to life through music, and it’s available now on the UK record label, Krafted Digital. Diego Hernan. Hailing from Villa Gesell, a small coastal town near Argentina’s capital, Diego Hernan’s music has caught the attention of big names like Nick Warren and Fernando Ferreyra. A master of the guitar, his tracks are known for their string work, often featuring electric guitar riffs and arpeggios. EddyThron, the other half of ‘Last Goodbyes’, is no stranger to the music scene either. With 2025 marking his 15th year in dance music, he’ll also soon be celebrating the fifth anniversary of founding Aloft, his Organic House project with which he co-produced these Krafted-released tracks. Last Goodbyes ‘Last Goodbyes’ was born from a guitar riff by Diego, a riff that became the EP’s most unforgettable element. The release blends their signature sounds perfectly, featuring Diego’s strings and, for the first time, EddyThron’s very own sung vocals. EddyThron. “Halfway through last year, while we were chatting Diego told me he was going to have a jamming session”, says Eddy. “Not long after, he sent me that one guitar line, and I started building around it“. “It sounded fabulous, but we figured it was rather empty. That’s when I decided to sing my own vocals to add to it, and it worked!” -EddyThron Diego also shared some words about the release: “This EP is very special, because it took shape with the help of FIIXX, an artist of my city with a unique-sounding Stratocaster guitar. We created the demo and the rest of the elements started falling into place really naturally”. ‘Last Goodbyes‘ comes in two versions: Organic and Breakbeat. Both mixes showcase the same core elements – Diego’s stellar guitar work and Eddy’s insightful lyrics – but with distinct vibes. In the Organic mix, they interweave in a call-and-response style over a smooth, melodic base perfect for sunset beach sets. The Breakbeat Mix takes a more dance-floor-oriented approach with a glitchy feel and a swifter tempo. Listen to Diego Hernan & EddyThron pres. Aloft‘s debut collaborative EP, Last Goodbyes, by hitting ‘Play’ on the Spotify player we’ve attached. Also, be sure to head over here to support the release on your platform of choice. 15. It's not much of a question whether or not many have heard Flo-Rida and T-Pain's "Low"—the song has been many a party-goer’s anthem for years. The question is, have you heard Lumasi's version? Lumasi, an emerging bass artist known for his wonky production and remixes of nostalgic tracks, recently garnered attention for a nasty flip of T-Pain's "Low" by virtue of a TikTok video, which racked up views into the millions. His flip, which tells listeners to get "lower" before blasting them with unbridled, gritty bass, has since taken off on wings of its own as a popular DJ tool. Not everyone loved the attention, however, as the remix faced a takedown notice issued by major labels back in February. So Lumasi forged ahead to produce a new version of "Lower," which today released via Subtronics' Cyclops Recordings. The track features the smooth lyricism of Illinois rapper ProbCause, whose vocals replace those originally executed by Flo-Rida. Lumasi's new rework, which arrives ahead of a fall 2024 tour, retains all the same wubs and wobbly bass of its predecessor while ProbCause delivers bars that breathe new life without overpowering its original draw. 16. Wondering who and where this summer's anthems are going to come from? Kygo has that answered for us after announcing of new album to come in late-June. The Norwegian dance music superstar will celebrate a fruitful decade of releasing music by virtue of a self-titled album, he announced on X. He also released its latest single, "Without You," a heartfelt dance anthem featuring Hayla. Kygo is one of the top 20 most-streamed EDM artists in Spotify history, with popular collaborations that many are sure to have heard, if even without realizing it. 18. Yanoy is back with "Take Control," a stunning house track out now via One Desire. In the cavernous depths of his latest offering, the rising Chicago DJ and producer plunges headfirst into the abyss of human despair. With its spellbinding production and vulnerable lyrics, the haunting, techno-inspired release resonates like a primal scream. "Bad days, black thoughts, I can't be focused," the vocals plead, threading a harrowing mantra that encapsulates the suffocating weight of mental anguish. But amidst the bleakness, Yanoy imbues a flicker of hope: "Tell me where to find light in the tunnel." With "Take Control," he has crafted a visceral house record that confronts the demons within, challenging listeners to confront their own shadows while offering a cathartic release for the dancefloor. "It's a journey through the tunnel, guided by the hypnotic rhythm and the connection we share on the dancefloor," Yanoy says. "This song is a testament to resilience and the power of music to heal and uplift." Yanoy has been officially releasing music since 2020, but last year's "Knee Deep" catapulted him into the public eye. He garnered further acclaim when his single "You Make Me Feel That" received radio support by Martin Garrix. 19. Today marks 10 years since this fantastic collaboration of some of the biggest names in music was revealed to the world. ‘Gold Skies’ brought together the already well established and experienced Sander Van Doorn with two huge new emerging names in Martin Garrix and DVBBS. This mesh of talent created a truly beautiful song that stood out in a year of other big electronic music anthems such as ‘Tsunami (Jump)’ by DVBBS and Borgeous, ‘Gecko (Overdrive)’ by Oliver Heldens and many more. ‘Gold Skies’ remains one of Sander Van Doorn’s most successful tracks and also continued to drive Martin Garrix and DVBBS forwards in their rise to the top of the electronic music world. Both of them would follow up ‘Gold Skies’ with iconic anthems in ‘Pyramids’ from DVBBS and ‘Turn Up The Speakers’ from Martin Garrix. ‘Gold Skies’ has remained a fan favourite especially amidst Martin Garrix fans with it still being a song regularly played during his live shows whether it be the whole song or just the wonderful vocals of Aleesia. This song fast became one of the biggest summer anthems of 2014 and 10 years on from that, with festival season ramping up, will be a song still welcomed with cheers by fans. ‘Gold Skies’ absolutely played a big role in getting all the artists involved to the level that they’re at today and marks a fantastic coming to together of legends of music. This song not only made the artists icons of music but became an icon in itself that year in year out gets millions of people belting out “We will forever be faded under gold skies.”
