After many months spent in the studio, K3X has found the perfect time to release what he has been working on and that begins with this incredible single. Released on Unstoppable Records, K3X blends the evocative elements of melodic deep techno with a dystopian narrative, creating a unique tone in the single which sets it apart from other releases in the genre. The track dives deep into the tension between dark futuristic landscapes and fleeting moments of hope. The central theme of dystopia, marked by an ever-encroaching sense of isolation and dissonance, is expressed through haunting melodies, cavernous basslines, and mechanical rhythms. Drawing inspiration from a world on the edge, the track paints an audial picture of a dystopian future, where technology and humanity are locked in a struggle for control. Through atmospheric soundscapes and minimalistic yet hypnotic beats, K3X masterfully captures the anxiety of a society in turmoil while offering glimpses of beauty within the chaos. This release is designed to resonate with listeners who crave depth in their electronic music, an exploration of both inner and outer worlds, evoking the feeling of wandering through a desolate urban sprawl under an endless night sky. 4. Hocus Pocus Festival took place from October 31st to November 2nd at Factory Town in Miami, Florida. Hosted by Miami Link Rebels and Insomniac, the event embodied all things Halloween complete with a costume contest and a haunted house. Across four stages, attendees were treated to a myriad of electronic music styles, from Latin beats to hard techno. Venue Located in Hialeah, Miami’s “City of Progress,” Factory Town is committed to fostering a diverse community of music lovers and creatives. While the venue’s open-air design and community-focused mission were highlights, there were a few logistical challenges. The remote industrial location complicated transportation, with difficulties finding rides or calling rideshares. Additionally, the lack of permanent bathroom facilities meant long wait times for the VIP trailer restrooms and disappointingly unsanitary porter potties in the general admission areas by the end of the night. Despite these logistical challenges, the venue is well suited for electronic music events with its state of the art sound system. Food & Drinks Hocus Pocus Festival pleasantly surprised us with its variety of food offerings. Attendees could indulge in everything from Spoonbills Snoballs ($8) and loaded al pastor fries ($20) to BBQ sandwiches ($16) and various platters ($20-$35). The drink selection was standard for Miami, with single cocktails ($16), double cocktails ($22), bottles of Aguardiente ($50), ready-to-drink canned cocktails ($14), beer ($10), and non-alcoholic options ($5-$7). Monaco Tequila Cocktails even had a stand offering free shots. Stages The festival featured four distinct stages, each with its own unique character: Infinity Room This stage, the main stage of the festival, transported attendees to a realm of infinite possibilities. Featuring artists like Eliza Rose, Cassian B2B Kevin de Vries, and ARTBAT, the stage looked like an old spooky house with “Hocus Pocus” illuminating at the top and laser beams shooting out of the windows. The Park Serving as the festival’s dedicated hard techno stage, featuring the likes of Nico Moreno, Oguz, Eli Brown, Lily Palmer, and Charlotte de Witte. The stage had a large LED screen behind the DJ booth and a balcony that offered a bird’s-eye view of the action. Espacio Proximo This stage celebrated the rich diversity of two fundamental facets of the Miami dance music scene: house music and Latin beats. Artists like LF System and Austin Millz performed on a stage framed by a pyramid of LED lights, speakers on each side, and palm trees lit up in the background, evoking the vibrant Miami vibe. Cypress End The smallest of the stages, nestled beside the haunted house, provided a more intimate vibe. Offering a mix of acid house and psytrance, this stage gave attendees a break from the larger, high-energy areas of the festival. Music Across the four stages, artists delivered captivating performances that kept the dancefloors packed and the energy high throughout the weekend. Kobosil Kobosil, considered one of techno’s fastest rising DJs and producers, brought his signature deep, fast, and aggressive sound to the Infinity Room. Drawing inspiration from EBM, noise, and industrial, he captivated the crowd with tracks like “Pray & Die,” “Beat You Back,” “Paper & Pen,” “Eye Twitching,” and “Getting Started.” Nico Moreno Nico Moreno closed out Thursday night (or rather, Friday morning) with an electrifying set on the Park stage, playing hard-hitting tracks such as “Bust Like,” “F4Ke Drop,” and the crowd-pleasing “This is What it Feels Like” featuring Warface. VTSS Newcomer VTSS made a lasting impression with her high-energy, genre-blending performance. She enchanted the audience with tracks like “Profiler” and “Get Down,” showcasing her versatile talents as a techno maximalist. Patrick Mason Berlin-based DJ and producer Patrick Mason epitomized the energy of the New Underground, delivering an infectious, highly energizing live hybrid set that took the audience on a journey through sound. Tracks like “Time to Time” and “Don’t Want To” had the crowd captivated by his larger-than-life dance moves and dynamic presence. Final Impressions Hocus Pocus Festival’s commitment to Halloween and spooky theme was impressive, from giant illuminated eyeballs to inflatable ghosts, there was something around every corner. Attendees could also indulge in various vendor stands selling rave accessories, apparel, and more, all while immersing themselves in the Halloween-themed decorations and lighting that fully embraced the Hocus Pocus spirit. There were also ample places to chill and sit including a repurposed school bus. By blending spooky entertainment with world-class electronic music, Hocus Pocus Festival cast a spell on attendees, making it an epic Halloween weekend in Miami.
  5. Drum & Bass music, once an underground movement, now sits firmly on the global stage. Continuing to channel its melting pot origins, the genre flexes a diverse mix of styles, visually translated within the accompanying creative. Enhancing stand-out in a crowded, super accessible music arena, this creative plays an integral and essential part in the magic of the end product; whether it’s being delivered via digital platforms or on tangible traditional vinyl sleeves (a recent resurgence in that format firmly led by the genre itself). As both a designer and producer for that genre I wanted to highlight some of the creative visual alchemists in the scene. What follows isn’t an ordered, exclusive list of who’s who. Simply an indulgent homage and unapologetic fan-boy type admiration of designers who I revere and who have not only influenced me personally, but artists that I feel have visually enhanced the scene with their super dope creative output. I think you’ll agree when you see their work Jon Black www.magnetstudio.com | Instagram Jon is one of the Godfathers of Design for Drum & Bass. After replying to an advert in Viz Comic, he landed a job first working at the seminal Rising High Records and then at Vinyl Distribution (UK’s leading underground music distributor at the time); proceeding to be on design duties for over 20 prolific labels including Metalheadz, Ram, Good Looking, True Playaz, Exit, 31 Records… and that’s just me dipping my toe into the list. His pivotal designs were influenced by the likes of Neville Brody (with his experimental FUSE typography projects), and also The Designers Republic. What Drum & Bass heads may not know is that the skull used on the front of the Grooverider’s legendary ‘Prototype Years’ album was donated by a local hospital. “I walked over from my office and asked if they had an old x-ray I could use on an album sleeve. A thoroughly confused doctor agreed to hand one over. I have no idea who’s head it was!” Jon’s favourite Drum & Bass track: Ed Rush & Nico – ‘Technology’ (Boymerang Remix) Ricky Trickartt www.trickartt.com | Instagram Ricky’s epic journey into design began in his teens, after reaching out to John B on Dogs on Acid forum. “They say that on the internet, nobody knows you’re a dog, and he didn’t realise how young a teenager I was – I wasn’t even old enough to come out to his gigs!” Decades later, and Ricky’s enviable roster of clients includes Hospital Records, BBC Radio 1Xtra, 31 Records, Breakbeat Kaos and Dom & Roland; creating hundreds of sleeves and campaigns from the deepest underground minimalism, through to big global charting releases. Working with Hospital Records, from its humble Shoreditch beginnings to shows at Brixton Academy (where luckily he didn’t have to sneak with fake I.D. anymore), Ricky’s ethos has always been to have fun with it all and never try to take it very seriously. “I particularly like working outside of the computer using practical effects… I try not to follow trends – I just really like the process of making things, however I can do it.” Ricky’s favourite Drum & Bass track: Nitin Sawhney – ‘Sunset’ (London Elektricity Remix) Simone Deiana www.simonedeiana.com | Instagram Everything started in the late ’90s for Italian Graphic Designer and DJ / Producer Simone. Working on his own musical projects (under the artist name of Arpxp), his visual flair took the form of flyers and artwork for not only his own self-released music and events in his hometown Cagliari (Sardinia) but for many Drum & Bass promoters across Italy; providing graphics for festivals and top-billed club nights with the likes of Hype, Pendulum, Noisia and Roni Size on the line-up. Following that, his role as Art Director flourished, giving him the opportunity to be more involved in the creative process on campaigns for Labels including Sun And Bass, Spearhead, Metalheadz, Dispatch and CIA Records. His influence stretches wide; ranging from the iconic Bauhaus Movement to Graffiti. “I hate when I have to say ‘no’ to the artist’s brief. It’s happened quite a few times. The dialogue between music and visual design can be tricky sometimes.” Simone’s favourite Drum & Bass track: Marcus Intalex – ‘Temperance’ Gary Haslam www.process.black | Instagram Another creative pioneer in the scene, Gary first ventured into sleeve design after meeting Sean (of ‘2 Bad Mice’ fame) whilst on an HND Graphic Design course, who asked him if he’d be up for doing a few sleeves. 30 years later, Gary unleashed his visual alchemy for labels including Moving Shadow, Over/Shadow, Charge Recordings, Innerground Records and V Recordings; for a plethora of legendary artists on the 200+ Sleeves, he’s had his creative hands on. Gary’s been influenced by many design studios over the years including the Designer’s Republic, Build, Attik, Stylorouge and Territory Studios. “I guess it was less about trends, but more what seemed right for the project at that point in time… and at times working closely with the artists on projects to help realise their visions and ideas… It’s always been an opportunity to explore new ideas and styles I’d never normally get to do and to be back doing it again for Over/Shadow, after a break of about 10 years… well… it’s awesome.” Gary’s favourite Drum & Bass track: Omni Trio – ‘Renegade Snares’ (Foul Play Remix) Seth Broman www.grymlife.com | Instagram Raised on a diet of 80s movies, comics, Cinematography, old-school anime, graffiti and other digital artists, Seth’s early creative output for flyers soon transitioned into designing for events and LPs, producing visuals for the likes of Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware, Playaz, Reinforced Records, Dispatch Records and Intrigue Music. Drawing on the mood from the dark corners of Seattle and Denver, his often macabre imagery creates a dark narrative of the modern urban experience; in both his design for music labels and for his creative output under the moniker ‘Grym’. As Manager of Experimental Bass Label ‘Onset Audio’, Seth draws a close parallel in the creative process of both design and music. “What I found as I got deeper into the process and software [of music production] was that it was very similar to designing in Photoshop. You have layers, you have plug-ins, you have samples. And the artistic process of trial and error definitely had parallels.” Seth’s favourite Drum & Bass track: DBridge & Vegas – ‘True Romance’ Dan Eshleman www.akuratyde.com | Instagram Hailing from Southern California, Dan’s been flexing his design skills since 2016. Leaving his corporate job to focus solely on music and design, he’s since been creative for labels including Blu Mar Ten Music, Cosmic Bridge, CNVX and None60; creating artwork almost exclusively for the music industry, alongside releasing his own Drum and Bass Music as Akuratyde and running his own label Modern Conveniences. With a background in both design and music, his process for both is very similar; initially sketching out ideas in both mediums, with multiple iterations of ideas, whether it be different colours or bass lines – tweaking and refining until he lands on the version he’s ultimately happy with. “I don’t follow a lot of current design trends but one I have been following is what I’ll call the “cyberpunk” look. Travis Kane is my favourite designer in that style. I also like Mishko a lot. I don’t like copying someone else but I pull a lot of influences from that style for my own label”. 6. 93 Feet East on Brick Lane has been at the heart of London’s underground music scene for a quarter of a century. This iconic East London institution is now marking its 25th year with the much-anticipated return of the game-changing party FUSE while an upgraded sound system and cutting-edge lighting setup mark the start of a bold new chapter for this vital cultural space. 93 Feet East is situated within Shoreditch’s Old Truman Brewery complex and has always been synonymous with some of the UK’s most celebrated events. Chief amongst those is FUSE, the infamous Sunday daytime party founded by Enzo Siragusa in 2008 and closely linked with residents like Seb Zito, Rich NxT, and Archie Hamilton who helped to define its signature sound. One thing that always sets 93 Feet East apart is the day into night experience. When parties start in the afternoon, the sun beams in through the big windows and bathes everyone in light. As those rays fade, the music changes to suit the mood and dancers are immersed in the club’s cutting-edge lights and a brand new and unique sensory experience unfolds as the party plays out into night. In October 2024 FUSE returned to 93 Feet East with the innovative [X—Series], a special run of 10 consecutive Sunday daytime sessions for the first time since 2012, and with a strict no-phones policy. This initiative features sets from Enzo next to secret unannounced guests and debut B2Bs. The series has recaptured the essence of the original FUSE events with an emphasis on authentic clubbing experiences free from phone distractions and offers a safe space with no tolerance for discrimination of any sort. So far the likes of ADMNTi, Cristi Cons, Dr Banana, Dan Ghenancia, Fabe, Gene On Earth, Harry McCanna, Huerta, Janeret, Kepler, Laidlaw, Marlie, Pach, Reeshy, Reflex Blue, RICH Not, Rossi, Shonky, tINI, Traumer, Tristan Da Cunha and Voightmann have played with more weekly surprises in the pipeline until the finale on 15th December. Says FUSE regular Seb Zito, “On Sunday I popped down to what once was my second home, 93 Feet East, every week. Even if I wasn’t playing | was on that dance floor connecting with the music and the people. My whole sound was inspired by this place and I got to experience that again on Sunday. Looking forward to being re-inspired once again on a Sunday and connecting with each other. Big up Enzo Siragusa and FUSE for putting on these weekly shows and allowing the next generation to feel what we felt back in 2008.” Over the years, 93 Feet East, which entails a Main Room, Live Room, Courtyard and Members and Gallery Bar, has undergone several refurbishments that have kept it one step ahead of the game. Now the venue enters another bold new phase with a raft of superb upgrades that enhance the overall live experience for both DJs and club-goers. Firstly, the legendary sound systems, which are widely seen as some of the best in the capital, have been upgraded. The Main Room now boasts a Funktion One 4 with three F124 bass speakers and the high-spec production setup includes a Eurolite Blinder, Power Strobe, Hazer, an LCD projector and a vast screen. The final improvements to the Main Room layout are set to increase capacity in conjunction with some slick bar upgrades. Beyond music, 93 Feet East is an adaptable multi-use space that has hosted various cultural and social events including art exhibitions, and community meet-ups. 11. 25 years later, Darude's "Sandstorm" remains the delightfully unhinged gift that keeps on giving. For anyone who remembers the "Sandstorm" era, it was an unstoppable force, sweeping through clubs, soundtracking countless gaming videos and living on as the internet's universal trolling answer to, "What song is this?" Now, an official remake by Sikdope has hit streaming platforms, recapturing that same boundless energy but amplifying it for today's festival crowd. Longtime fans of the original may initially recoil, but adventurous listeners will find his unhinged interpretation a wild, cathartic ride. It's the "Sandstorm" your meme-addled, Juul-jittered Gen Z nephew would approve of. The Polish beatsmith reimagines "Sandstorm" as a neo-rave slammer, whipping Darude's classic melody into a frenzy of euphoric synth stabs and battering percussion. His full-throttle reinvention breathes new life into one of dance music's most enduring anthems, transforming it into a raw banger that'll have seasoned ravers white-knuckling the nearest surface. 13. A recent study by Lloyds Bank revealed that Oasis Live ’25 tickets have become a prime target for scammers and their platform of choice is Facebook Marketplace. Since the announcement of the Oasis reunion tour in August, around 70% of reported concert ticket scams have involved Oasis tickets. Victims of these scams typically lose around £346, though some have reported losses as high as £1,000. Scammers are primarily targeting individuals aged 35-44, who make up 31% of fraud reports. High-profile events, like Oasis, Taylor Swift, and Adele with tickets selling for thousands of dollars, are attractive targets for scammers who can easily exploit eager fans. “Fraudsters wasted no time in targeting loyal Oasis fans as they scrambled to pick up tickets for next year’s must-see reunion tour. The fact that so many cases start with fake listings on social media, often in violation of the platforms’ own rules, underscores the importance of these companies taking stronger action to tackle scams.” -Liz Ziegler, Fraud Prevention Director for Lloyds How the Scams Work Scammers often trick fans into sending money via bank transfer for tickets that don’t exist. These scams involve fake advertisements, social media listings, or discounted ticket offers. Scammers also frequently target sold-out events, since they can inflate prices and the victims are more desperate to buy. Tips to Avoid Ticket Scams Scammers typically post fake tickets on social media in two waves: first, when tickets initially go on sale, and again closer to the event date. To protect yourself from ticket scams, remember these tips: Stick to Trusted Retailers: Purchase tickets directly from the venue or authorized sellers like Ticketmaster. Avoid third-party sellers. Beware of Deals That Seem Too Good to Be True: Discounted tickets on social media are often scams. Scammers can make significant profits from even a small number of victims. For example, if they sell to just 10 people looking for $40 tickets, they easily make $400. Use Secure Payment Methods: Never pay for tickets via bank transfer, wire transfer, or money order. Use credit or debit cards, as credit cards offer additional protection and lets you dispute the charge. Selling tickets on Facebook Marketplace directly violates the platform commerce policy. Despite this, many scams still occur, defrauding fans of their money. Be wary of any seller who requests payment via bank transfer (usually through social media), as this is a common red flag for ticket scams. Finally, on Saturday, January 25, we’re gearing up for a unique show, as grime icon and UK scene pioneer Skepta (Más Tiempo) raises the temperature with his unrivalled charisma in his first house-infused DJ set in Canada, which is bound to create the perfect atmosphere to close this weekend of madness. February brings even more excitement! Thursday, January 30, the festival rings in the month with Bon Entendeur’s vintage grooves and Boston Bun’s vibrant rhythms. Then on Friday, January 31, Swedish House Mafia’s own Steve Angello will get the crowd moving with his powerful beats, just after KILIMANJARO will have made his mark with his smooth Afrobeat sounds. On Saturday, February 1, you won’t want to miss mythical duo Adriatique and new French idol Marten Lou who will be mixing deep and hypnotic rhythms, for an immersive melodic house music experience, accompanied by none other than Yulia Niko. As the final weekend approaches, Turkish star Mahmut Orhan and Belgian producer Maxi Meraki will take the stage on Thursday, February 6, for a warm, festive night. Friday, February 7, the spotlight shines on Cloonee, who skillfully wanders through the most frenzied house repertoire, as does Brazilian Classmatic, also taking part. The grand finale? Four Tet, with whom Igloofest audiences have an undying love affair. The man who almost lost his fingers there in 2019 will be back to close this 17th edition with class and magic, not to mention the irresistible charm of Avalon Emerson, who will also be part of the festival’s last night. Stay tuned for more news! The post Igloofest Montreal Announces Steve Angello, Michael Bibi & More for 2025 Edition appeared first on EDMTunes.
  15. Losing your phone at a music festival isn't just annoying—it's an epidemic. Festivals and raves have become hotbeds for phone thefts, turning carefree events into stress-filled searches for stolen devices. In fact, an astonishing 70 million phones are lost or stolen annually—that's enough for an entire country the size of Thailand. With a phone lost or stolen every half-second worldwide, it’s no wonder that festival-goers are looking for ways to keep their devices secure. But one startup, ClutchLoop, has been working to prevent those dreaded "where's my phone?" heart attacks. The brand's innovative phone tether uses a durable, retractable steel line to securely attach your device to your clothing or bag, protecting it from both theft and accidental loss. ClutchLoop says it's just like a leash for your phone, only more stylish. View the original article to see embedded media. The device, priced at $25, is a simple yet effective safeguard that offers both peace of mind and a touch of style. No one expects to fall victim to phone theft, but with it happening constantly, this tether could be a lifesaver for any raver. Already empowering over 100,000 festival-goers across the globe, ClutchLoop is now expanding beyond just utility. It isn't just about function—it's about culture. The company regularly joins forces with DJs, festivals and venues to develop exclusive designs and partnerships, like recent collaborations with Excision's Lost Lands and Miami's iconic Club Space. 16. In an unprecedented achievement, Alesso has become the first artist to land back-to-back #1 singles on dance radio with two different tracks in consecutive weeks. His song "I Like It" (with Nate Smith) topped the Mediabase Dance Radio Airplay chart on October 20th before "Never Going Home Tonight" (with David Guetta and Madison Love) defied the odds and rocketed to the same position on the 27th, sealing his record-breaking status. The tracks also briefly reigned supreme atop Billboard's Dance/Mix Show chart, taking its top two spots on November 2nd. These back-to-back hits underscore the Swedish superstar's knack for creating contagious beats that resonate on airwaves and in clubs alike, reaffirming his place as a leading producer in the electronic music scene. Alesso's 2017 track with Hailee Steinfeld, "Let Me Go," recently became his first to join Spotify's elusive billion-stream club. "Heroes (we could be)," a generational dance anthem he released alongside Tove Lo back in 2014, isn't far behind, sitting just shy of 722 million streams at the time of this writing. 17. Back at the end of 2022, Pioneer DJ had welcomed the newest controller creation in its family of products that are aimed towards helping any aspiring DJ find a starting point to an eventual career. And ahead of this holiday season, anyone that’s starting out in their DJ journey while hoping to not break the bank on a reliable, affordable, and professional-looking option should consider the DDJ-FLX4 as a go-to controller. Starting at a budget-friendly price of $299 and formerly replacing Pioneer DJ’s DDJ-400, the two-channel DDJ-FLX4 offers DJs the ability to use it with either Serato—including a free use of Serato Lite—or Rekordbox’s performance mode. Pioneer’s controller also offers direct access to streaming services—not including subscriptions—like SoundCloud, Beatport, and more so DJs have the ability to dive into an extensive catalog without worrying about having the music locally saved on their hard drive. The DDJ-FLX4 also allows beginner DJs to use a couple of guardrails to assist them in their learning experience, including Smart Fader—to help with flawless transitioning—as well as Smart CFX, where DJs can use an array of effects by turning a single controller knob. 18. Kygo's "Higher Love" has reached even greater heights after joining Spotify's elusive billion-stream club. It's not hard to see why. The Norwegian dance music superstar's 2019 remake of the Whitney Houston classic blended the untouchable diva's powerful vocals with his sun-soaked beats, creating a modern anthem that effortlessly bridges generations. Houston's voice, already immortal, found new life in Kygo's fresh arrangement, which feels eternally summer. It's the kind of track that somehow fits any moment: a late-night drive, an electric music festival or a breezy morning with coffee. "It was an honor to get the opportunity to work on this amazing track, thanks to Whitney’s estate for believing in me," Kygo wrote in a celebratory X post. "Higher Love" is Kygo's fourth song to join Spotify's three-comma club after "It Ain't Me," "Firestone" and "Stole the Show." The track ultimately topped Billboard's Dance Club Songs chart in the US, becoming the third for Kygo and 14th for Houston to do so. Revisit "Higher Love" and its nostalgic music video below. 20. Dreamers! We are treading really closely to our reunion. The Queen Mary will have us once again to share our love for Trance and Techno in Long Beach for Insomniac’s Dreamstate Music Festival Southern California 2024. The love and the light will reign supreme for two days of high-energy sets, art, and twisted afterparties. However, once most prepare, and if there’s something we learnt last year is that the dynamic is different than the NOS Center in San Bernardino. So, let’s start packing and plan out a magical weekend, yet again. The Venue The Queen Mary is an established waterfront that hosts many Insomniac shows such as Daytrip and Apocalypse. The cement port hosts four stages through the weekend. The days run for 12 hours each 1pm to 1am, with two afters that will allow you to bathe in the beautiful morning light on the ship, ending at 6am. You do need to take the bridge to get to the venue. Therefore, Dreamstate offers free shuttles that go from the convention center to the venue and back on both days. There will be prepaid parking on The Pike and the convention center. There will also be designated areas for rideshare drop-off near the venue. The venue has two major zones that are connected by a metal bridge and a tunnel. There could be some congestion once the festival is at peak hours so we recommended being considerate while moving in between areas to avoid any accidents during bottlenecks. We expect the vibes to be as amazing as usual, so make sure you stack up on kandi and trinkets to share with your fellow ravers. We alro recommend to arrive early to take opportunity of the photo ops and check out the vendors. The Weather Last year the weather was a bit unpredictible, with a regular november temperature on Friday. However, it got cooler on Saturday, with some rain towards the later times. Fashion-wise, ravers were really prepared with multiple layers to peel or add depending on the circumstance. So, we definitely recommend planning your outfits accordingly. The Lineup At Dreamstate, this is by far one of the most exciting lineups for Trance fans each year. There will be tons of influential artists that have shaped the scene to what it is today. These include Darude, Armin van Buuren, Vini Vici, Infected Mushroom, Brian Kearney, Ruben de Ronde, Markus Schultz, and more. This gets spicy as our Trance destination flips on its darker turn with an insane Techno lineup. Just as last year, there will be a Techno takeover on Friday. Must-watch artists include Anfisa Letyago, Funk Tribu, BLK, Hector Oaks, and Cera Khin. Other DJs who love to play insane Techno include Victor Ruiz and Giorgia Angiuli. Saturday we have major progressive artists that will delight us with some gorgeous beats. These include Above & Beyond, Amy Wiles and Leena Punks, Andrew Bayer, and Grigore. For more specifics, check out here. We’re so glad to be back home soon, and reunite with all the returning dreamers and all the newcomers too! 21. Barclay Crenshaw has been on an absolute tear this year, with the official send-off of his OG Claude VonStroke moniker and the release of his Open Channel album and accompanying tour. The DJ/producer is now back with another new track, the emotionally charged ‘Goodbye My Friends,’ featuring vocals from his son, Jasper Crenshaw. This track marks a significant moment as Jasper’s first official release, coinciding with his journey into college life. Renowned for his electrifying performances and boundary-pushing productions, Barclay Crenshaw continues his streak on ‘Goodbye My Friends.’ The creation of the track stems from a heartfelt song Jasper wrote to bid farewell to his high school friends as he transitions to college at the prestigious University of Southern California’s Pop Vocal Performance undergraduate program. The powerful emotions in Jasper’s vocals inspired Barclay to transform it into an emotive bass track. This collaboration beautifully blends Jasper’s poignant lyrics with Barclay’s acclaimed production skills, following closely on the heels of Barclay’s recent collaboration with his daughter, Ella, on the track ‘Tiramisu.’ Barclay Crenshaw continues to tour extensively, with over 60 dates in 2024, including major festivals such as LIB, Elements, Apocalypse, Movement, Electric Forest, and Texas Eclipse. His dynamic tour and the release of ‘Goodbye My Friends’ epitomize his continued evolution as an artist committed to blending and bending genres, ensuring his music remains as fresh and engaging as ever.
