[GrooveCartel] Steve Angello releases anticipated single ‘Darkness In Me’
The new song “Darkness In Me” by Steve Angello and Modern Tales is out now via Astralwerks / SIZE. The song is about avoiding temptation and giving in to your urges. Along with the song, they put out an exciting film. The main character in the movie, Gleb Sazonov, goes on an emotional and life-changing journey to accept himself. The pulsing beat, strong artistic scenes, flashing lights, and AI images all work together to create a one-of-a-kind way to watch something. This is Angello’s first new music this year. He put out the album “Hooligans” last fall, and then he had an exciting return to the Brooklyn Mirage stage. Angello also released “ME“ and worked with Sebastian Ingrosso, who is also in the Swedish House Mafia, on the song “Skip.” Swedish House Mafia played a historic 6-week Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency last summer, as well as at many international music festivals, such as the Garorock Festival, the Panama Open Air Festival, the Lucca Summer Festival, the Untold Festival, the Findings Festival, and the mainstage at Tomorrowland, which was their first time back at the festival in 12 years. Who are Modern Tales? Two brothers, Jonas Rathsman and Franz Novotny, were born into a land shaped by the rough beauty of Sweden. Their paths were meant to cross. They each went on their own journey to find their own place in the world until a shared vision called them back together. Which is how Modern Tales came to be—a group with a strong Northern spirit, where sad and mysterious sounds were mixed into every note they played. Like old stories, their music moves both the heart and the body. Their sound is both big and small, mixing movie-like sounds with the raw sounds of human feeling, all carried on the winds of their country’s ancient legends. In 2020, when everything seemed to be still and dark, two brothers found light in a blank sheet and filled it with the colors of a new project. Their songs, which they wrote alone, traveled far and were heard by Rüfüs Du Sol, who invited them on a trip that took them to faraway places and to a promise with Rose Avenue. That’s when their storytelling skills really came to life, and their music brought people who didn’t know each other together in a way that no words could describe. But this is just the start. Modern Tales is at the start of a long, twisting road. Their Nordic sound holds a light for them and those who follow. There is still a story to be told that will inspire people and last for a long time. The post Steve Angello releases anticipated single ‘Darkness In Me’ appeared first on The Groove Cartel.

[Electric-Mode] Home Again Club Festival 2025 Puts Berlin Back on the Festival Map
Home Again announces the return of its Club Festival for 2025, promising a celebration of electronic music culture. Taking place from May 28 to June 2, 2025, across the iconic RSO.BERLIN and the sprawling Valley Stage, this third edition solidifies Berlin’s status as the heartbeat of global club culture. With Thursday, May 29, marked as a public holiday in most of Europe, it’s the perfect excuse for an extended Berlin escape. This year’s lineup is the festival’s most dynamic yet, featuring headliners Peggy Gou, Solomun, Job Jobse alongside techno titans Helena Hauff, I Hate Models, and many more. Following two unforgettable editions in 2023 and 2024, Home Again has quickly become synonymous with the essence of Berlin’s electronic music scene. This year, the festival expands its vision, hosting 4 stages across 4 days and 5 nights, seamlessly blending the raw energy of Berlin’s club scene with the open-air euphoria of a festival. At the festival’s core is The Valley, a unique outdoor venue that gained viral attention after Marlon Hoffstadt’s unforgettable performance there during last year’s Home Again. The industrial backyard vibe, nestled in the middle of an old brewery, has become a symbol of Berlin hedonism, providing an unmatched post-industrial backdrop that defines the festival’s aesthetic. After sundown, the party continues at the neighboring RSO.BERLIN, with its state-of-the-art sound system and versatile indoor spaces: the epic Robus and the intimate Summe, keeping the vibes going. Nils Caspar Thabo Gelfort, founder of Home Again, shares: “With the third edition of Home Again Club Festival, we’re dedicated to giving Berlin the festival it deserves. We are here to celebrate the city’s rich electronic music heritage while showcasing its versatility. It’s a HOMEcoming. Many of the artists in our lineup are returning to Berlin after years of making waves around the globe. Their stories and sounds are intertwined with this city, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back. Unlike traditional festivals, we offer an urban festival experience that blends seamlessly with the city’s pulse. No tents to pitch, no designated drivers needed—just pure, unfiltered music and community, right where it all started. We strive to keep the festival accessible and convenient, not only for Berliners but also for visitors looking to combine a full festival experience with a vibrant trip to Berlin.” Beyond the Music Home Again isn’t just about the music. The festival also features a non-music programme with panel talks, workshops, and community gatherings in the biergarten-style Baergarten, fostering dialogue around the culture and future of electronic music. Tickets are available via https://homeagain.berlin/festival. Full lineup and running order to be announced soon. [GrooveCartel] Sandro Cavazza Speaks Out Against Unauthorized Avicii Single Release
Sandro Cavazza, a singer-songwriter, has openly questioned the release of “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version,” a song on which he and the late EDM pioneer Avicii sing together. Cavazza spoke out against the release on social media, saying that he had agreed to include Tim’s demo version in a full live record from the artist’s last show but not as a separate single. The song was played at Avicii’s last live show in 2016 at Ushuaia in Ibiza. It was released by Interscope Records, Pophouse, and the Avicii Estate. Just so you all know. I have not agreed on released this as a single. I have only agreed on releasing Tim’s demo version of Forever Yours as a part of a full live album release from Tim’s last show, but since that album wasn’t released today and this is now being portrayed as a single, featuring me, I feel like I need to speak up. I have for years now been asked by the family and pinguettes recordings to release the unreleased material I have done together with Tim and I have consistently said no. A lot of you probably wonder why those songs never have come out and the truth is that I don’t want to release any of those songs Without Tim being here. He is the only one who knew when his songs were finished and I do and will continue to respect that. I therefore wish that Pinguettes recordings, Per Sundin and Tim’s family will respect that decision as well and that they think twice about what the most respectful way to treat Tim’s memory is cuz I don’t think this is it People are interested in Avicii’s music again after watching the Netflix films “Avicii: I’m Tim” and “Avicii: My Last Show.” While these productions have helped Avicii’s legal albums, “True” (2013), “Stories” (2015), and the posthumous “Tim” (2019), get back on top of the charts around the world, Cavazza’s comments raise important questions about the morality of releasing music after someone has died. The music business has been talking for a long time about artistic ethics and how hard it is to manage an artist’s legacy. This controversy adds to that conversation. The fact that Cavazza told Pinguettes recordings, Per Sundin, and Tim’s family to not release the song shows how important it is to respect an artist’s artistic vision while also preserving their work. As the story goes on, it shows how difficult it can be for artists, partners, and estates to work together on releases after the artist has died. This is especially true in the electronic music scene, where unreleased tracks and live performances are important parts of an artist’s legacy. This event is a reminder that music releases are about more than just making money. There are also deeply personal and artistic aspects that should be carefully considered. This is especially true when dealing with the legacies of important artists like Avicii, whose influence on electronic music is still felt years after his death. [GrooveCartel] Avicii’s 2016 “Forever Yours” Ibiza Version Has Been Relesed
Today, Avicii‘s “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version” was released as an official single by Interscope Records, Pophouse, and the Avicii Estate. This is in response to how fans felt about the two highly praised Netflix documentaries, Avicii: I’m Tim and Avicii: My Last Show, which started streaming on December 31, 2024. The song was played at Avicii’s last live show at Ushuaia in Ibiza in 2016, which is shown in the movie. Today, you can get “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version” Feat. Sandro Cavazza on all streaming sites. Fans can also look forward to special posts on Avicii’s main social media pages about how the song was made. You can download or listen to “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version” Feat. Sandro Cavazza below. You can also watch “The Creative Journey Behind the Song” video to get a look at how “Forever Yours” was made. Tim “Avicii” Bergling was a producer, singer, and DJ. Before he tragically died at the age of 28, he put out two albums, True (2013) and Stories (2015). Tim, Avicii’s record released after his death, came out in 2019. After the two documentaries came out, all three records went back on the global charts. Fans are begging for more “official” releases, and “Forever Yours” has become a fan favorite. The song “Forever Yours – Tim’s 2016 Ibiza Version” was made by Tim Bergling and Marcus Thunberg Wessel, and Sandro Cavazza sang on it. Avicii was at his very best, getting the crowd excited and catching the electric energy of his show. The original single captures the magic of Tim’s live shows and honors the strong bond between Avicii and his fans. [EDM.com] Son of Son Shares Vision Behind Hit Collab With Anyma and Argy, "Voices In My Head"
When two Afterlife powerhouses join forces with Son of Son, or "The Great Blondino," the result is pure magic. The surging melodic techno producer has teamed up with Anyma and Argy, two of the genre's biggest stars, to release "Voices In My Head." The transformative track is a pure adrenaline rush, with a vocal hook that captivates and hypnotizes in equal measure. After many viral appearances in Anyma's historic Vegas Sphere residency, the hotly anticipated track hit streaming platforms today ahead of a tour for Son of Son, who is primed for a sweeping February tour of India. Meanwhile, Anyma is preparing for his final shows in the record-breaking Sphere, which he recently called "the future of live experiences." EDM.com caught up with Son of Son to discuss his creative vision, artistic goals and the story behind "Voices In My Head." View the original article to see embedded media. EDM.com: What was it like working with Anyma and Argy to produce "Voices In My Head" and how has your relationship with each artist blossomed? Son of Son: All I can say is that, despite the industry being a bit shitty sometimes, I just feel total gratitude for everything. Both Anyma and Argy are a huge part of this track. It really was a collaborative team effort. Anyma is the undisputed champion and Argy changed my life forever, man. We each bring our own perspectives, which makes the process even more dynamic, and I will always be thankful for what he has done for me. It took 13 years for someone to finally give Son of Son a chance, and Argy was the first guy to do it. No one else ever did. EDM.com: Where did the concept for the track's vocal sample come from? Son of Son: I was up late night working as usual and I got the idea to make a track about the creative voices keeping me awake. I had the concept ready in my mind so I started writing a few different phrases about not being able to sleep, or being awake, or hearing voices. Eventually I came up with the final phrase and used AI to create the voice. Basically the first time I wrote lyrics myself. EDM.com: Tell us about your affinity for jazz and how your interest pivoted into producing electronic music. Son of Son: I heard Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" for the first time when I was a kid and that song made 12-year-old me go, ”Damn, these guys smashing the drums are super cool." After some successful nagging, my mom helped me buy a drum set. The only problem with being a 12-year-old jazz drummer is that you have no one to play with. A few years later I snuck into a deadmau5 show with fake passes and from that point on, I knew exactly what I was going to do with my life—I sold the drum set and bought a computer instead to make electronic music. EDM.com: How did your nickname, "The Great Blondino," come about? Son of Son: A friend of mine commented "The Great Blondino" on one of my posts. She’s as blonde as you can get too. People loved it and it became big. All of a sudden everyone started saying it. It originally comes from a song by Stakka Bo, the guy who directed HBO’s Chernobyl. Who knows, maybe I’ll sample his song and release it some day. EDM.com: How does your interest in fashion play into your music? Son of Son: I was the strange kid in high school who drew sketches of clothes in my math books. The interest was always there—I even made some of my own clothes because I couldn’t afford the stuff I wanted. It’s a form of expression for me and it’s all very natural to me. The way I dress, the humor, the way I move on stage, the way I make content… it's a very well-curated package. I feel like almost every other DJ still doesn’t understand the importance of having flavor. Some character. We already have guys wearing the same black t-shirts onstage and that’s totally fine, but it’s not me. I’m happy to give people a part of myself—something different, something they’re not used to. I know that’s what they’re craving right now. View the original article to see embedded media. EDM.com: What has been your most fun live performance to-date and why? Son of Son: I’ve had so many outstanding shows but I’ll give you the top three. The "X" show in Cartagena was perhaps the greatest night of my life. There was a flood in the city—my set was paused for 30 minutes due to thunder and rain—but we still had a great time with the crowd. I met a lot of amazing people and great new friends, and I danced with Adriatique and a wonderful group of beautiful girls all night. Thank you Adriatique. My Cairo show was chaotic—loved it. There were like five or six fights, it was probably 35° Celsius in the club, I had a great time with this beautiful girl there, some really good tea, some hardcore Egyptian gangsters wanted to take photos with me after the show… it was just wild, man. Punk concert! My show in Tunisia with the Alees World crew was probably the show with the most positive and loving atmosphere I’ve ever done. They also surprised me with a birthday cake, which was nice. EDM.com: What are some of your top goals, both musical and personal, for 2025? Son of Son: My biggest personal goal is always to take care of my mom, and to make sure I stay healthy and love every second of my work. Musical goal? I’m going to keep throwing curveballs all the time, both in my sets and in my releases. Don’t expect me to do what everyone else is doing. One of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2025 is about to receive an official release. SCRIPT and JV — two of melodic techno’s quickest-rising stars — have joined forces on their ID-turned—Experts Only single, “Flex My Ice.” And it had already made waves across the live circuit, earning support from dance music heavyweights like Tiësto, Korolova, Mathame, and more. [EDM House Network] The Cataracs Are Back With Dev, and It Feels Like 2010 All Over Again
We don’t need a time machine to relive the 2010s because The Cataracs are officially back with new music. After 14 years, the duo has reunited and is set to release “Make Ya Body Whistle” with Dev on February 21, 2025. For those who grew up on their music, this moment is surreal. The Cataracs were responsible for shaping an era of electronic and hip-hop-infused party tracks that defined a generation. Songs like “Like a G6” and “Bass Down Low” became global hits, introducing millions to their unique production style. The announcement of their return has sparked excitement from longtime fans who never thought they would see another release from them. A Full-Circle Moment for KSHMR FansIt is hard to believe that I have been a fan of KSHMR since his early days as part of The Cataracs, and now, after all these years, it feels like everything is coming full circle. Niles Hollowell-Dhar went on to become one of the most recognized producers in electronic music, but his roots were in this duo. Seeing him return to this project brings back memories of an era when their music was everywhere, and it is clear that many fans feel the same way. The teaser for “Make Ya Body Whistle” suggests that this is not just a nostalgic throwback. The visuals feature futuristic, liquid-metal aesthetics with a whistle at the center, signaling a fresh take on their identifiable and unique sound. Instead of trying to recreate the past, The Cataracs seem to be embracing their evolution while staying true to the style that made them stand out in the first place. Dev’s Return Completes the ComebackA Cataracs reunion would not be complete without Dev. Her voice was a key part of their biggest tracks, and her role in this comeback makes it feel like a true return rather than just a one-off release. Over the years, she has continued to build her solo career, but her chemistry with The Cataracs was something that set their music apart. Now, after more than a decade, they are back together and ready to introduce a new era of their sound. What Comes Next? With “Make Ya Body Whistle” just days away, there is already speculation about whether this marks the beginning of something bigger. Is this a one-time release, or could there be an entire project in the works? Regardless of what happens next, the excitement around their return proves how much of an impact they had. Fans who spent the early 2010s blasting their music are now getting to experience a moment they never thought would come. Whether it is nostalgia or curiosity about their next chapter, one thing is clear: The Cataracs are not just back, they are making people talk. February 21 is going to be a day to remember as we’ll be reliving all our 2010’s vibes all over again! Pre-Save “Make Ya Body Whistle” Here

[EDM House Network] EDC Thailand 2025: A Game-Changer for the Festival Scene in Asia
As someone who’s attended numerous music festivals around the world, my experience at the first-ever EDC Thailand, held from January 17-19, 2025, at Boat Avenue in Phuket, was nothing short of spectacular. I’d heard countless stories from those who attended EDC Las Vegas editions, but nothing could prepare me for the energy and scale of this inaugural event in Thailand. The Festival Setup: A Visual Feast of Color and EnergyThe EDC Thailand 2025 setup was nothing short of spectacular. The mainstage, known as Kinetic Field, was a true centerpiece, bringing back the iconic Kinetic Goddess from previous EDC Vegas editions. The massive stage was beautifully designed, filled with intricate details that made it feel larger than life. Each day, the crowd was treated to incredible fireworks shows, but the highlight came on the final night with a 6-minute spectacle that left the entire venue in awe. The firework display, timed perfectly with the beats, created a striking moment hat captured the essence of what Electric Daisy Carnival is all about: pure, unbridled celebration. Beyond the main stage, the festival grounds were adorned with various carnival vibes, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to the experience. A towering Ferris wheel spun above the crowd, offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire event. Nearby, a merry-go-round provided a playful, nostalgic touch, while dancers on stilts roamed the grounds, creating a whimsical atmosphere. At the entrance, dancers playing instruments welcomed attendees, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. These carnival elements made EDC Thailand feel like more than just a music festival, it became a true celebration of culture, fun, and togetherness. The Music: A Dynamic Mix for Every TasteThe musical lineup at EDC Thailand 2025 was a major highlight of the festival. Each day, the lineup featured a mix of global superstars and rising talents across 5 stages: Kinetic Field, stereoBloom, circuitGround, Bionic Jungle and Boombox Art Car, ensuring that festival-goers were treated to a diverse range of electronic music. While I personally enjoyed performances from Crankdat, Subtronics, Wooli, Rooler, Mish, Hugel, Indo Warehouse (Kahani vs Kunal Merchant), Yellow Claw, Afrojack, R3HAB, The Chainsmokers, and Illenium, it was clear that every act had something special to offer. Each day’s festival experience was capped off with huge performances that closed out Kinetic Field in spectacular fashion. On the first night, Tiesto took the stage with his iconic blend of progressive house and trance, keeping the crowd hyped until the very end. Skrillex‘s set on day two was literally fire, with his mind-blowing dubstep drops and unmatched energy igniting the crowd. The final night saw The Chainsmokers bring a wave of nostalgia with their 2012-2013 hits, taking us back to the golden era of their music, while also keeping things fresh with their newer tracks. Their set was the perfect blend of past and present, leaving everyone buzzing long after they left the stage. Beyond the headliners, EDC Thailand 2025 offered a fantastic mix of genres and moments to cherish. Rooler, making his first appearance in Thailand, delivered an intense hardstyle set that had the crowd jumping from start to finish. Mish, also bringing hardstyle to the stage, closed out stereoBloom on day one, leaving the crowd hyped up and ready for more. Hugel brought Afro house to day two on StereoBloom, offering a smooth yet powerful groove that got everyone moving. Subtronics took over circuitGround on day one with a spectacular set that was literally fire, capping off the stage with heavy bass drops that echoed through the crowd. Afrojack and R3HAB brought a sense of nostalgia with their sets, each offering a throwback to the golden era of their music while blending in their newer hits. It was a trip down memory lane for many, especially those who’ve followed their careers for years. But for me, the emotional highlight of the weekend came during Illenium’s set. The atmosphere shifted as he played “All That Really Matters,” a track that got me and my friends deeply emotional. There’s something about the way Illenium crafts his sets that draws people in on a personal level. It was a moment that captured the power of music to connect us all. The vibe at EDC Thailand, in general, was all about togetherness. People from different cultures and backgrounds came together to celebrate music, and it felt like one big, unified community, lost in the beats and the shared experience. Crowd and Atmosphere: A Global Celebration of MusicOne of the most exciting aspects of EDC Thailand 2025 was the incredible diversity of the crowd. Over 60% of attendees were from outside Thailand, with festival-goers traveling from all over Southeast Asia, Europe, and beyond. This created a multicultural atmosphere, bringing together people from different walks of life with one common goal: to enjoy and celebrate electronic dance music. The sense of unity was palpable as everyone seemed to embrace the shared experience, whether they were longtime fans of EDM or newcomers to the festival scene. The vibe at the festival was filled with energy and positivity. It wasn’t just about the music. It was about the community. From the moment you walked through the gates, you could feel the excitement in the air. The festival grounds were filled with colorful totems, many of which were created by festival-goers to stand out in the crowd. These totems, often adorned with quirky messages or oversized designs, acted as personal beacons, helping friends find each other in the sea of people. They also added a fun, playful element to the festival’s atmosphere, contributing to the overall sense of creativity and individuality that’s so unique to EDC.Every corner of the festival seemed to have something special. Whether it was the elaborate outfits worn by attendees, the vibrant flags and banners waving in the breeze, or the performers on stilts greeting festival-goers, EDC Thailand was a visual feast. The diversity of the crowd, combined with the playful spirit of the festival, made it feel like one big global celebration. There were people of all ages, backgrounds, and experiences, but when the music started, we all became one. The unity and joy were widespread, and it’s hard to imagine any other event that could bring such a wide variety of people together in such an uplifting way. Final Thoughts: EDC Thailand Sets a New StandardLooking back at EDC Thailand 2025, I can confidently say that this first edition exceeded all my expectations. From the incredible production and attention to detail to the dynamic range of artists and genres, the event set a new standard for music festivals in Asia. It’s clear that EDC’s commitment to providing a world-class experience for festival-goers, regardless of where they are in the world, is alive and well in Thailand. The festival brought together not just the music, but a diverse and enthusiastic crowd, creating an atmosphere of unity that’s rare to find. The combination of world-class performances, a vibrant crowd, the carnival vibe, and the stunning visuals made EDC Thailand 2025 feel like something truly special. Whether it was the nostalgia of artists like Afrojack and R3HAB, the emotional connection during Illenium’s set, or the sheer excitement of new experiences like Rooler’s hardstyle debut, it was an event that had something for everyone. As electronic music continues to grow in popularity across Asia, it’s exciting to think about the future of EDC Thailand. I’m already looking forward to the next edition, knowing it will be even bigger, better, and more unforgettable than the first. EDC Thailand has not only made a mark on the music festival scene but has also contributed to the growing cultural significance of electronic music in Asia. [EDMTunes] New Google Pixel Besties App Allows Multi-Channel Messaging
Google lovers this is for you!. The company is releasing a new app exclusively for Pixel phones, allowing users to bring together different messaging services. The new Besties app allows users to fuse messages from their contacts, across Google Messages, WhatsApp, and allegedly other messaging apps. Besties App Messaging Android Authority revealed the Besties app is coming alongside an upcoming update. It is said that the Besties App keeps a database within Android, which messaging platforms such as Whatsapp can access as well. This is not coincidence, however. WhatsApp’s access is due to a special permit given by Google. This is definitely a collaboration from the two. This means other apps will need access to Besties’ database. Other services we would like to see in this update are Meta, Discord, or Microsoft Teams. The release of this new system marks yet another win for Google and its mission to centralize communication, making it easier to connect with others. Of course, this would also help the communication between Apple and Android. Pixel vs IPhone vs Samsung Google Pixel devices have always been considered “less than” versions of Android. Furthermore, this definitely attracted minimalist customers. Theoretically, Besties allows an user to add all their contacts to the database, and then allow messaging across all platforms. Nevertheless, this is just another advantage Google wants to have. The Google Pixel 9 now has a better competitive chance against Iphone 16 and Samsung S25 phones. What do you think? Do you prefer keeping chats exclusive to their apps, or do you prefere a centralized approach? The post New Google Pixel Besties App Allows Multi-Channel Messaging appeared first on EDMTunes.

[EDM House Network] The Chainsmokers & Coldplay ‘Something Just Like This’ Hits 3 Billion Streams on Spotify, Marking a Major Milestone
Some songs come and go, but others leave a lasting mark. The Chainsmokers and Coldplay’s Something Just Like This is one of those tracks that people never seem to get tired of. Released in February 2017, it has now crossed 3 billion streams on Spotify, placing it among the most streamed songs of all time. Whether played at festivals, weddings, or quiet nights alone, it continues to hold a special place in people’s hearts. A Dream Collaboration That Came Naturally Long before they were selling out festivals and topping charts, Drew Taggart and Alex Pall were massive Coldplay fans. From the beginning of their career, they have spoken about how much Chris Martin and his band shaped their sound. When the opportunity came to work together, it was more than just a big collaboration. It was a moment they had been waiting for. The way the song came together was just as special. During a session in the studio, The Chainsmokers played a simple piano riff, and Martin immediately started writing lyrics. Within a couple of hours, he had the melody mapped out, walking around with headphones on, completely immersed in the creative process. The result was a song that blended Coldplay’s signature storytelling with The Chainsmokers’ electronic production, creating something that felt both familiar and fresh. Why This Song Stuck With People The lyrics tell a story that many can relate to. Instead of searching for perfection or fairy-tale love, it is about finding someone who makes you feel like enough just as you are. That simple idea, combined with the uplifting melody, is what makes the song feel just as good now as it did when it was first released. Over the years, Something Just Like This has been more than just another song in a playlist. It has soundtracked personal moments, major life events, and unforgettable nights at festivals. For many, it is the kind of track that brings back memories every time it plays. A Milestone Worth Celebrating Not many songs reach 3 billion streams, and the ones that do are usually the ones that never fade away. This achievement shows just how much people still love and connect with Something Just Like This, years after it first came out. For The Chainsmokers, this song is a reminder of the band that inspired them from the start. For fans, it is proof that a great song does not need anything over the top to leave an impact. Sometimes, all it takes is the right melody, the right words, and the right moment. And whether it’s something old, something new, you know that you will always be feeling ‘Something Just Like This’ with a song that will never go out of style.
