[GrooveCartel] Anvaya Unveil First Single ‘Dheere’ on Indo Warehouse
The new song from rising duo Anvaya, “Dheere,” out March 7th as the first taste of their highly anticipated debut EP, Sands Between Us, continues to define the sound of South Asian-inspired electronic music. “Dheere” is a big step in Anvaya’s quickly changing career. It comes out just before a historic, sold-out Indo Warehouse showcase at The Roundhouse in London on March 7th, where the duo will perform with Kahani and Kunal Merchant, the owners of the label. Over 1,700 people are going to experience Indo Warehouse’s unique mix of deep, culturally-rooted house music. The event is also a great place for Anvaya to show off their newest work, making it a full-circle celebration of sound, movement, and identity. Kaushal and Sonia are married and work as doctors during the day. Their story is just as interesting as their music. It takes hours for Anvaya to be creative. The two members spend their nights making songs that combine their shared history and musical upbringing. As a result, the sound is both deeply personal and accessible to everyone. Avaya expertly captures this balance on “Dheere,” a slow-burning percussion groove with swirling basslines, sultry vocal refrains, and an obvious air of mystery that draws users in. The track, which was made for late-night dancefloors but has roots in tradition, shows how well the pair can combine traditional instruments with modern electronic production. It’s the kind of record that stays with you long after the last beat and is meant to move your body and your heart. “Dheere” sets the scene for “Sands Between Us,” which comes out April 4 as the first EP by an artist on the Indo Warehouse label. Indo Warehouse has made a name for themselves through groundbreaking shows and carefully curated compilations. Sands Between Us is a bold new chapter that puts Anvaya at the head of the movement and gives listeners a deeper look into the duo’s evolving, genre-defying sound. Anvaya are becoming one of the most exciting electronic music acts in the world. They have already made big waves with their shows at Garba SZN II and other important events on the Indo Warehouse calendar. It’s not only Sands Between Us that boosts the next wave of club music with South Asian influences; it’s also them telling their own story, their way. [EDM House Network] 5 Of The Best Electronic Albums Ever
Discovery – Daft Punk You can’t talk about the best electronic albums of all time without including Daft Punk’s undeniable masterpiece ‘Discovery.’ Daft Punk were always great innovators and ‘Discovery’ was no exception as the albums revolutionary disco inspired house sound took the world by storm. It went to number 2 in the UK, French, and Canadian album charts along with going triple platinum in France in 2007 and being widely praised by critics. Despite being released 24 years ago it doesn’t sound dated which is evident from the fact that there’s still music off this album being played at clubs and festivals all the time. Featuring some of the most iconic songs in electronic music such as ‘One More Time’, ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’, and ‘Digital Love’, ‘Discovery’ is a hit machine which rightfully earnt its spot in Rolling Stones 500 Greatest Albums of All Time at 236. True – Avicii Undoubtably one of the greatest debut albums of all time, ‘True’ stands as Avicii’s crowning achievement earning him worldwide love and recognition for his talent. Despite a lot of early criticism following the unveiling of the contents of the album at Ultra Music Festival 2013, pretty soon after people started to realise the genius of ‘True.’ Featuring amazing songs such as ‘Addicted To You’, ‘Hey Brother’, ‘You Make Me’, and of course ‘Wake Me Up’, the album was a massive success reaching number 1 in the album charts in Australia, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, as well as in the Billboard US Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart. ‘True’ earned worldwide acclaim and contains some of Avicii’s finest work with his unbelievable talent for blending the lines between genres on display. Fat of the Land – The Prodigy ‘Fat of the Land’ is one of those few albums that just doesn’t have any songs you want to skip as The Prodigy were firing on all cylinders from start to finish. Coming off the back of their stunning ‘Music for the Jilted Generation’ album it was a tall order to try outdo themselves yet they found a way. The album kicks off bombastically with the iconic ‘Smack My B***h Up’ followed by ‘Breathe’ which are a couple of The Prodigy’s biggest songs that hook you in instantly. The punches just keep coming with more great tracks like ‘Diesel Power’ and ‘Mindfields’, but the knockout blow comes with the legendary ‘Firestarter.’ The album was particularly popular in the UK as both ‘Breathe’ and ‘Firestarter’ rocketed to number 1 in the charts. ‘Fat of the Land’ gave us the welcome introduction to Keith Flints vocal power, along with giving us a plethora of timeless classics. 18 Months – Calvin Harris With Calvin Harris it’s incredibly hard to pick just one album to talk about having made great albums the likes of ‘Ready For The Weekend’, ‘Motion’, and ‘96 Months.’ However, the album that features possibly his best work that has stood the test of time has to be ‘18 Months.’ This album features a lot of the biggest artists in the world at the time with appearances from Rihanna, Tinie Tempah, Dizzee Rascal, Example, Ellie Goulding, Ne-Yo, Florence Welch, Kelis, and Ayah Marar. This astronomical lineup of artists working side by side with Calvin Harris could equal only one thing, a goliath of an album. Impressively ‘Feel So Close’, ‘We Found Love’, ‘I Need Your Love’, ‘We’ll Be Coming Back’, and ‘Sweet Nothing’ all hit number 1 in the singles charts in various countries. But it’s ‘We Found Love’ that flew the highest reaching number 1 in 24 different countries. Forever – Alesso Diversity in style, chart hits, club bangers, iconic anthems. Not many albums can have all these attributes, so the fact Alesso achieved all of this on ‘Forever’ makes it one of the best electronic albums ever. Ranging from the heavier tracks like ‘Tear The Roof Up’ to the more emotional progressive house anthems like ‘If I Lose Myself’, Alesso displayed his amazing diversity in production skills across the album. ‘Forever’ went to number 1 on the Billboard US Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart while several of the singles had great success in the UK. In the UK Singles Chart ‘Cool’ reached number 10, ‘If I Lose Myself’ reached number 8, ‘Heroes (We Could Be)’ reached number 6, and ‘Under Control’ went all the way to number 1. Honourable Mentions Sentio – Martin Garrix Wild Youth – Steve Angello Nothing But The Beat – David Guetta Justice – Justice >Album Title Goes Here< – Deadmaus

[EDM.com] Former Neo-Nazi Hate Group Leader Says He Was "Deradicalized" by Raves and House Music
A former neo-Nazi who once spread hate through violent music has revealed an unexpected path to redemption: rave culture and electronic dance music. Arno Michaelis was once the lead singer of a neo-Nazi metal band and a prominent member of Hammerskin Nation, one of the most dangerous white supremacist skinhead gangs in the US. Today, he works as an anti-hate activist with organizations like Parents for Peace, helping to deradicalize others caught in extremist movements. Michaelis recently appeared on Business Insider's "Authorized Account" series, in which he opened up about how raves played a crucial role in his journey away from extremism. "My deradicalization process was the Midwest rave scene," Michaelis said. "Within a year and a half of leaving the hate group, I found myself on the South Side of Chicago, 4 in the morning on Sunday, shaking my ass to house music with 3,000 people of every possible ethnicity, socioeconomic background, gender identity, sexual orientation—and loving every minute of it." From 1987 to 1994, Michaelis was deeply embedded in white supremacist activities, with his band Centurion selling over 20,000 copies of its hateful albums in just six months. His days, he recalled, were marked by violence, paranoia, addiction and crime. Michaelis said he severed ties with his hate group after seven years of living "in constant fear" and found himself attending raves in Chicago, which is universally considered the birthplace of house music. He noted that the scene "took over and filled those needs of identity, purpose and belonging" that had initially drawn him to extremism. "In the rave scene of the '90s, their mantra was 'peace, love, unity and respect,'" Michaelis said, highlighting the stark contrast to his previous worldview. You can watch his interview on Business Insider's "Authorized Account" series below.

[EDM.com] Isolated Together: How 18-Year-Old Øneheart Is Shaping TikTok's Ambient Music Revolution
The algorithm that trained us to crave instant gratification is now feeding us its antidote, thanks to music producers like Øneheart. Thanks to his breakout track "snowfall," the teenaged beatsmith is on the cusp of joining Spotify's elusive billion-stream track club, where electronic music greats like Avicii and Swedish House Mafia reside. Rooted in a nascent genre called "liminal ambient," his haunting soundscapes have captivated a young audience still reeling from post-pandemic isolation. Led by "snowfall," which he created in collaboration with fellow Russian producer reidenshi, the genre itself occupies a deliberate space between comfort and discomfort. Many producers of liminal ambient music employ granular synthesis to create ghostly, stretched textures, evoking a dreamlike or distant quality. They also incorporate field recordings and elements of biomusic—like rustling leaves, empty hallways, HVAC hums and cassette tape hiss—to enhance the sense of vastness. Somewhere between the eerie glow of a forgotten shopping mall and the warmth of a childhood lullaby, liminal ambient music marks itself as distinctly Gen Z. To that end, what makes the genre's popularity so remarkable is its primary distribution channel, TikTok. A platform designed for rapid consumption and constant stimulation, TikTok seems fundamentally incompatible with music designed to be absorbed slowly—but that tension might explain its appeal. It's like a digital oxygen mask, offering meditative space amid an otherwise claustrophobic and overwhelming feed of brain-rot content. Awash in reverb and languid soundscapes, liminal ambient's rise on TikTok seems paradoxical. The platform thrives on rapid-fire dopamine hits, but the music demands patience. The faster we scroll, the more we seem to crave Øneheart's digital slowness. His "snowfall" audio has been used in nearly five million TikTok videos, generating billions of impressions and influencing young producers across the world's bedrooms to craft soundscapes that feel like memories of places they've never been. "I tried to ride various TikTok trends a few years ago," Øneheart, whose real name is Dmitry Volynkin, tells EDM.com. "But now I realize it’s better to do what you really like because trends come and go, but your discography is eternal." It's a refreshing take from an 18-year-old artist who could've easily chased clout. Regardless of commercial outcomes, liminal ambient stands as a fascinating cultural phenomenon, a sound specifically calibrated to provide relief from the very digital environment that made it possible. And in Øneheart's hands, it's evolving into something timeless. We sat down with the electronic music prodigy to unpack how his eerie, contemplative beats have found a home in TikTok's hyperactive digital metropolis, and where this genre might drift next. c/o Kurate EDM.com: Many artists in your position might have pursued more mainstream electronic genres with established audiences. What convinced you to venture into relatively uncharted musical territory at such a young age? Øneheart: When I started making electronic music at 11, I never imagined so many people would end up listening to my tracks. Back then, I was inspired by EDM artists and dreamed of following in their footsteps. Over time, I've realized that the most important thing is to create music that I genuinely enjoy making and can put my heart into. That shift really shaped my journey to where I am now. EDM.com: Your music has been described as both nostalgic and futuristic—looking backward and forward simultaneously. Why do you think your sound has been so closely associated with the concept of escapism? Øneheart: In my music, I try to reflect on my life's memories, experiences and ordinary happenings. I think that people feel that in what I do, and that's the reason it resonates. If my tracks help someone deal with or feel an emotion, even for a moment, that means the world to me. EDM.com: The term "liminal" implies being caught between worlds, neither here nor there. In what ways do you see your generation existing in liminal spaces beyond just music, and how does this influence your sound? Øneheart: Our generation is living in the information age. We are constantly stressing out at the endless hustle-and-bustle, overthinking, and feeling like we are everywhere and nowhere at once. That sense of disconnection is something a lot of people my age relate to. For me, music is a way to translate those emotions into something tangible. And when people tell me my music has helped them navigate those feelings, it a reminder of why I do this. EDM.com: TikTok has been crucial to the spread of liminal ambient music, yet the platform's algorithm-driven, rapid-fire nature seems almost contradictory to the slow, contemplative nature of your soundscapes. How do you navigate those conflicting ideas? Øneheart: I'll be honest with you: I tried to ride various TikTok trends a few years ago, but now I realize that it's better to do what you really like because trends come and go, but your discography is eternal. I'm grateful to all the people who use my music on there—without them I probably wouldn't be close to where I am now. c/o Kurate EDM.com: Your rise coincided with a period of profound global isolation. If liminal ambient is a response to the loneliness of the modern world, where does it go next? Does it become even more isolated, or does it transform into something more hopeful? Øneheart: I really hope these genres evolve rather than becoming repetitive or overly commercial. There's so much room for this style of music to grow in unexpected directions, whether that’s through collaboration, new textures and sound or ways to make it feel even more immersive. EDM.com: Your music exists in this fascinating space between comfort and discomfort. How much of this tension is intentionally crafted versus being an organic expression of your own emotional state during the isolation of the pandemic? Øneheart: It wasn’t something I set out to create on purpose. I was just pouring emotion into the music, and that contrast happened naturally. I think music is a reflection of what we feel, even when we don’t fully understand what we feel or how that occurs. EDM.com: The electronic music world often prioritizes club-driven sounds. Do you think the industry fully understands or respects the growing power of ambient and introspective electronic music? Øneheart: Yes, yes and yes again! Lately I've been seeing more and more often that quite famous and important people in the electronic music industry release ambient albums. For example, there is Secret Life, a collaborative album between Fred again.. and the father of ambient, Brian Eno; or Moby with his Long Ambients series of albums. I know ambient music is not for clubs—it's music that you want to listen alone at home to relax. I know an example of cool live shows like Malibu does, so I'd really like to do a similar thing someday. EDM.com: You’ve crafted a signature sound at just 18—how do you evolve without losing the identity that made you stand out? Øneheart: For me the key is always staying curious and open-minded. I listen to a wide range of music. Lately, I’ve been really inspired by artists like Charli xcx, Instupendo, Jaron and Oklou. As my sound evolves, I try to focus on keeping that emotional core consistent—I think thats what ties my catalog together. [EDM.com] Watch Dom Dolla and Kid Cudi Drop Unreleased Collaboration at Madison Square Garden
Kid Cudi once took us to the moon, but this weekend, he took us to the dancefloor alongside Dom Dolla. Dolla cemented his place among the genre's elite last night, headlining a sold-out Madison Square Garden in the first show of a doubleheader at the legendary venue. But the evening's biggest surprise came when Cudi stepped onstage to unveil their stunning new collaboration. Some moments in music feel destined for history, and when Dolla welcomed Cudi onstage at The Garden, the crowd knew they were witnessing one. They erupted as the artists embraced, celebrating a genre-defying moment that bridges hip-hop with house music in a dream collaboration. With sweeping strings, euphoric synths and an anthemic refrain ("I want to stay forever"), the track is a bona fide house anthem built for stadiums, sunset raves and every moment in between. Fans are already clamoring for its official release, but neither Dolla nor Cudi has revealed a date at the time of this writing. Watch a clip of the song's debut at MSG below. [EDM.com] CRSSD's Spring 2025 Festival Marks Decade of Dance Music Devotion in San Diego
As dusk settled over San Diego's Waterfront Park on Sunday, the sky darkened and a light, unrelenting rain began to fall. Instead of sending festivalgoers scattering, however, instead it transformed the dancefloor into groove-soaked spectacle. It was a fitting scene for the 10th edition of CRSSD Festival's spring showcase, which has not only endured, but flourished as a cornerstone of stateside electronic music culture on the West Coast. Over the last decade, techno and house have moved from the fringes of the festival circuit to the center of global dance music culture. But CRSSD’s success hasn’t come from following the crowd. Instead, its identity is built on sharp, intentional curation, favoring artistry over hype. This year’s lineup embodied that philosophy, seamlessly blending pioneers and rising talents alike. Keiki Lani-Knudsen Few acts illustrate that balance better than Justice. The iconic French duo, whose Hyperdrama tour has been selling out international arenas, took the Ocean View stage on Saturday night, delivering a dazzling symphony of distortion, disco and maximalist electro against the backdrop of the Pacific. CRSSD's heart beats in the underground, and this year, that sentiment manifested in the form of Green Velvet, a surprise last-minute addition to the lineup. The Chicago house music legend felt like a natural fit for a festival that thrives on carefully curated selections, adding another layer of authenticity to a weekend that celebrated the genre's origins. Sunday’s programming leaned into techno's darker, more relentless side, culminating in a feverish b2b set from Nicole Moudaber and EDM.com Class of 2023 star Anfisa Letyago at the City Steps stage. Their performance was a masterclass in momentum, each kickdrum landing in a rhythmic storm that mirrored the rain falling over the crowd. Meanwhile, Poolside offered contrast, their breezy, sun-drenched house beats soundtracking a picture-perfect San Diego afternoon. If Moudaber and Letyago’s set was a sprint to the finish line, Poolside was a deep exhale, reminding "America's Finest City" that CRSSD’s magic lies in a balanced blend of intensity and euphoria. Keiki Lane-Knudson And at its heart, CRSSD is built on community, the kind of festival where a shared love for a four-on-the-floor beat is enough to form a bond. That spirit was never more evident than on Sunday night, when Kavinsky closed out the festival with a sweeping set that spanned synthwave and cinematic electronic music. A decade in, the festival has proven that it is an institution. And in a world where dance music continues to evolve at a breakneck pace, CRSSD remains exactly what it’s always been: a place where the music matters most. [EDM.com] Musicians Face One of the Highest Suicide Rates in the World, Study Finds
Contradictions have long plagued the music industry, where creative freedom meets relentless pressure. A new study examines the devastating reality beneath the surface: musicians are at a significantly higher risk of suicide than most other professions across the world. Published in Frontiers in Public Health, the epidemiological data found that musicians in England have one of the highest suicide rates of any occupational group, ranking fourth behind construction workers, tradespeople and agricultural workers. In the US, the broader occupational category that includes musicians had the highest female suicide rate of any profession in multiple years, and the third highest for men (138.7 per 100,000). The study suggests that the industry is, in the words of co-author Dr. George Musgrave, "demonstrably unsafe." It cites as cautionary tales Avicii and The Prodigy's Keith Flint, who died by suicide in 2018 and 2019, respectively. "Occupational mortality data in the US and the UK should make all of us who love and care about music stop and pause," Musgrave said. Sean Eriksson Roughly 70% of musicians are freelancers, meaning they have no benefits, no sick pay and little safety net, per The Guardian. Even those who achieve recognition often find themselves in a cycle of economic uncertainty, forced to tour relentlessly or take on multiple side jobs just to sustain themselves. Despite growing awareness of mental health struggles in the music world, real change has been slow. Some major record labels have introduced mental health initiatives and organizations like Help Musicians and Music Minds Matter offer critical support, including crisis hotlines and financial aid. But Musgrave and his colleagues argue that far more must be done. They are calling for the industry to implement a "zero suicide framework," a structured approach that has successfully reduced suicide rates in other high-risk professions. [EDM House Network] FIFA’s Lead DJ Grayson Repp Drops Euphoric Single ‘Heart and Soul’
After being away from releasing music for 3 years, Grayson Repp has now made an emphatic return with his brand new single ‘Heart and Soul’ which is the first of a series of songs planned for the year. ‘Heart and Soul’ is an interesting blend of progressive house with an afro feel from the drums which makes for a unique sound that is perfectly executed. Through the lyrics a story of developing love for someone is told that reaches its conclusion at the chorus where the track explodes into being wonderfully uplifting. The leap into this euphoric section is spectacular with a sound somewhat akin to Matisse & Sadko along with the mirroring between the tracks lyrics and energy being masterful. Though he has been away from releasing music for a while, Grayson Repp has been making waves in the world of DJing as he has been the Head DJ and Music Director for the FIFA World Cup 2022, CONCACAF Gold Cup/Nations League Finals 2023 & 2024, and Copa America 2024. His music and DJ sets have taken him all over the globe including sharing the stage with Travis Scott. These performances have been seen and heard by millions of people around the world and have earnt him the spot of Head DJ for the 2026 World Cup. ‘Heart and Soul’ marks the beginning of a huge year for Grayson Repp with plenty of performances and collaborations on the horizon. [EDM.com] SOFI TUKKER Reimagine Passion Pit's Generational Electropop Hit, "Sleepyhead": Listen
Picture this: It's 2008, the iPhone is barely a year old, there's this new movie Twilight that everyone's talking about, and Passion Pit just released their debut single, "Sleepyhead." Now, nearly two decades later, SOFI TUKKER have joined forces with Passion Pit to release a reimagined version of the indietronica band's ageless earworm. "Sleepyhead 2025" interpolates frontman Michael Angelakos' unmistakable vocal chops through a blissed-out four-on-the-flour beat, showcasing the production prowess of the genre-defying duo. "We didn’t want to change the direction of the song too much, just modernize it and sonically bring it into the SOFI TUKKER world," they said in a press release. Listen to the new track below. SOFI TUKKER's Tucker Halpern said the original "Sleepyhead" was one of his all-time favorite songs back in high school and "soundtracked so many pivotal moments with [his] friends." "I recently met Michael Angelakos and we instantly connected," Halpern recalled. "I told him how much his music had inspired me. After talking about how much the industry has changed since he released Manners [the album featuring ['Sleepyhead'], we decided to bring the track back in 2025 for a new generation." "Sleepyhead 2025" also marks the first release of 2023 on SOFI TUKKER's own label, Animal Talk Records, effectively marking a relaunch. It started in 2018 as a way to introduce the world to promising artists, starting with their friend LP Giobbi, who released her first songs on the imprint before blossoming into a dance music superstar. In other SOFI TUKKER news, you can catch the duo at one of their 10 headlining performances in Las Vegas this year. Their Wynn Nightlife residency comprises appearances at Encore Beach Club and its nighttime offshoot as well as XS Nightclub. Their tour also features performance at BottleRock, Tomorrowland, Shambhala and Elements, among other festivals. [EDMTunes] Calvin Harris Teases New Song With His Own Vocals
On March 5th Calvin Harris, real name Adam Wiles, is prepared to release a surprisingly new song that he has teased online for the world to react to. Two things that make this song shocking are that he is back to using his own vocals again and this track has a very classic country feel to it. He posted a short clip of him singing the new song ‘Smoke The Pain Away.’ In the video, Harris looks like he’s about to drop the hottest country album of the year while he is playing an acoustic guitar to a foot drum beat. He sings, “Eyes sparkle like the sun in June, grow up and wait for you. Wide awake in a hotel room, thinking ‘oh what could I do.’ Too late I’ve been up for days, I can’t even see straight, no I can’t smoke the pain away.” You can listen to the clip yourself below. Fans immediately expressed their excitement and love for this. One fan reacts, “What is happening? I love it!.” Another writes, “Calvin vocals are back lfg.” In the caption, he wrote, “It’s coming,” and we have been informed that it will be released on March 14th. His last release was the song ‘Free’ in July 2024. Even though Harris is not scheduled for any performances in 2025, this is going to be one amazing start to his year. Harris is no stranger to singing. He used his vocals in many of the songs that forged his career and initially left his fingerprint on the EDM world. Iconic songs like ‘Feel So Close,’ ‘Summer,’ and ‘My Way.’ His cadence and tone have a very pleasing sound. Many of us wish he would sing more songs that he makes. ‘Smoke The Pain Away‘ is not the first time an EDM artist has crossed over into the country realm. Avicii successfully achieved it first with his smashing hit ‘Wake Me Up,’ followed by Diplo releasing an entire album under his real name, Thomas Wesley, as his country project. This may be another defining moment for Harris, but the question we are left with is, does the song contain dance elements or does it stay fully in the country lane? This one will surely be worth the wait! The post Calvin Harris Teases New Song With His Own Vocals appeared first on EDMTunes.

[EDMTunes] Cinematic progressive house artist Ward Andrews unveils lead single from his forthcoming debut EP The Decoration of Time
Blossoming progressive house artist Ward Andrews is stepping into the electronic music world with a bold vision. At a time when the industry favors short, easily digestible tracks, Andrews is embracing a different philosophy – crafting expansive, long-form soundscapes designed to transport listeners through layered, immersive experiences. As a longtime creative force in the arts and design world, Andrews has discovered a new medium for his lifelong passion: music. His approach is rooted in his knack for creating cinematic masterpieces that serve as a soundtrack for work, play, and life. Inspired by the hypnotic energy of 70s disco, 80s synth pop, and 90s house, Andrews blends nostalgia with forward-thinking production, resulting in compositions that are both familiar and refreshingly original. With an artist project born during the pandemic, his debut single “Do You Hear Me Now” garnered 90,000 streams, followed by his sophomore track, “Timbavati,” which amassed 100,000 streams. His latest release “Now or Never” caught the attention of Swedish label LoudKult, marking a key milestone in his musical evolution. Andrews has also performed at major events like Goldrush Music Festival and Decadence Arizona; supported artists including Genix, LUTTRELL, Jerro, and Romain Garcia; and he hosts a new radio show on Insomniac Radio, Creation Park, airing on the first Tuesday of each month at 10 PM PT. Now, Andrews is gearing up for the release of his debut EP, The Decoration Of Time, on Friday, May 16. Fusing his unique progressive house sound with elements of atmospheric and melodic beats, the upcoming EP is a deep exploration of Andrews’ artistic journey. With The Decoration Of Time, Andrews seeks to not only captivate through rhythm and melody but also evoke emotions that encourage personal reflection, growth, and connection with the passage of time. Today, Andrews kicks off the EP rollout with lead single “Future Memories” – a track created as a way to redefine the way music, memory, and time are experienced. Exploring the concept of time “Future Memories” captures the feeling of being suspended between the past and what’s yet to come. Its immersive soundscape creates a continuous loop of emotion, blending nostalgia with endless possibility. Spanning six minutes, “Future Memories” is a melodic journey that incorporates warm synth textures, pulsating basslines, and evolving percussion. While the track develops, it pulls listeners in deeper with ethereal synth pads and sweeping atmospheric elements, creating a sense of movement, while rhythmic progressions give the track its driving force. Rejecting conventional song structures, “Future Memories” is a cinematic loop that transports listeners into a transcendent soundscape. Fans can catch Ward Andrews play out “Future Memories” at his upcoming tour dates during Miami Music Week, including two shows at The Clevelander Rooftop, The Clevelander Pool, and Over Under.
