Skrillex takes to Dropbox to drop his whole new album, FUS with over 30 new bangers nicely mixed for a lovely 46-minute playtime. Now, after 14 hours, the whole album is ready for your ears. Sunny is notorious for sending fans mixed signals in odd ways like emails and even has fans figure things out through cryptic messages. In these messages, he closes the gap between artists and fans that is usually filled with marketing and labels. This is one of the many reasons why Skrillex is so loved by his fan base. Now, let’s dive into FUS. 🙂
FUS (F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL) Tracklist
FUS brings a vintage Skrillex and dubstep energy consisting of 33 IDs with features from artists like Virtual Riot, Wuki, Space Laces, B-Girl, Swedm, and more. The multi-genre dance music legend has spent 20 years refining his sound of heavy electronic instruments over hard-hitting organic drums. FUS gives the genre of dubstep a whole new meaning. Hear it for yourself below.

FUS comes the day after Skrillex makes major headlines with his 10-year return set to Ultra Miami’s main stage. The set brought out Skrillex discography icons like Damian Marley, Flow Dan, and more. Also, he dropped many unreleased IDs including his opening track which is a collab between him and the rising artist, Nitepunk.
Skrillex Leaving his label
Recently, in the past 6 months, Skrillex spoke out against the mainstream agenda of this music industry and announced his departure from his label, Atlantic Records. He means no ill will and gives massive credit to his teams that have helped get him where he is today. His main push behind the departure is his inspiration and clear vision of how he wants to go about releasing music to his fans for the foreseeable future. FUS is his final project with Atlantic Records and marks the end of a chapter and the start of another.

For well over two decades now, Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance mix album series has been a staple in dance music land. And much like his globally esteemed radio show itself, the sound of the mix albums evolves with each passing year, reflecting the Dutchman’s explorative nature and the ever-changing scene itself. This year, the mix series walks further down that path to deliver a trifecta of sound, guiding listeners through trance’s full spectrum—from sunlit melodies to peak-time intensity: A State of Trance 2025.
Across its three parts and 43 tracks, the new mix album offers the very best of modern trance, from the sea-side grooves of On The Beach—with tracks from Claptone x Chicane, OTTAGON (Giuseppe Ottaviani) and AVIRA—to the club-driven energy of In The Club at the hands of Andrew Bayer, Ferry Corsten, Richard Durand and Gabry Ponte x Jerome Isma-Ae. With Armin van Buuren and Rob Swire’s show-stopping new collaboration and the official anthem for A State of Trance 2025, the energy reaches full throttle with Who’s Afraid of 138?!, the third mix—a no-holds-barred adrenaline rush spearheaded by Sander van Doorn, Orjan Nilsen x Mark Sixma, Oliver Heldens & Armin van Buuren and Mauro Picotto.
As fans have come to expect and cherish, this year’s mix album is, once again, packed with exclusive tracks, sought-after IDs and brand-new collaborations. It’s the ultimate soundtrack for dance music fans, carrying them from sunrise bliss to afterhours madness, with the sonic signature of Armin van Buuren himself and his celebrated A State of Trance brand.

For those who find regular VIP experiences insufficiently exclusive, Miami's Ultra Music Festival offered the opportunity to spend the equivalent of four years at an Ivy League university on beverages consumed in three days.
In what can only be described as the champagne equivalent of a nuclear arsenal, Ultra and TAO Group Hospitality's $425,000 bottle service experience—the aptly named "Fuck You Money" package—proves that some festival-goers prefer their bass drops served with financial devastation.
What does nearly half a million dollars buy at a festival where most attendees are content with $15 beers and good vibes? A champagne armory that would make a crypto bro blush: 200 bottles of Moet & Chandon Nectar Imperial Rosé (the Pharrell Williams Edition, naturally), 100 bottles of Dom Perignon Brut Luminous and 100 Dom Perignon Rosé Luminous. That's 400 bottles of premium champagne—enough to ensure that even the festival's portable toilets will somehow smell vaguely of bergamot and French vineyards.
Ultra returned over the weekend from March 28-30 with sets by Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Tiësto, Hardwell and many more of electronic music's biggest names. You can watch their performances here.

Skrillex has dropped his latest album, F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3.
With a lengthy tracklist to match its lengthy title, the 34-track album arrives today via joint release on Atlantic Records and Skrillex’s recently revived OWSLA label, marking the electronic icon’s fourth studio LP after a two-year wait.
Though each of the tracks on F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 clocks in at less than three minutes, the album plays out as a cohesive mix, with each of its tunes seamlessly blended over its 46-minute runtime.
Major inclusions on the album include buzzed-about IDs like “SPITFIRE” and “VOLTAGE,” which date back well over a decade, and high-profile link-ups with electronic titans like Joker, Virtual Riot, Space Laces, Boy Noize, G Jones, and more.
After dipping into an array of club-centric styles on his last two albums, Don’t Get Too Close and Quest For Fire, Skrillex’s latest offering sees the world-beating producer return to the aggressive, glitchy styles of brostep and trap he revolutionized 15 years ago. With a title that feels like an FU to the haters, Skrillex again stakes his claim as one of electronic music’s foremost visionaries.
The album release follows a series of audio teasers Skrillex has shared with fans in recent weeks, and will mark his final release with Atlantic before going independent.
Listen to Skrillex’s new album, F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3, below.

Hi! Who are you?
Feed the Dragon! The founding crew is Mengzy, DJ Fu, Hocknell, and Justin Lim but we have a wider family that make up FTD, like our resident photographer Jake Aaron Morton and resident DJs, like MMEE, the producer who made ‘Headtop’, the first release on the label.
What’s your ethos?
Building community and infrastructure. The bass scene here took off during Covid because the borders were basically shut but we had minimal lockdowns internally. A whole new generation got involved. Feed the Dragon came out from that really exciting period. Post-Covid, we want to harness that momentum – help protect it and build an infrastructure that inspires people to get involved in the culture: DJ, make tunes, art…
Also, we want to rep Asia in a way that feels authentic to people from or with a connection to this part of the world, which is why our visuals nod to the Asian video game culture that we grew up with. That’s also one of the reasons why we’ve got a mascot for our logo. Mascots, especially cute ones, are deeply embedded in Asian visual culture and branding.
Tell us your origin story?
We launched Feed the Dragon in January 2023 and about a year in we floated the idea of starting a label after being inspired by tunes we’d heard from producers in Hong Kong and around the region. Back to the idea of building infrastructure, starting a label felt like a really powerful way for us to walk the walk of our ethos and vision.
Tell us about your local scene…
We’re based in Hong Kong. Although the scene is small compared to a city like London, there’s a lot of diversity here when it comes to the dance music scene and a lot of amazing, really motivated crews. Just bass-wise, there’s nights like Magnetic Soul, Dark Metaz, Slimefest, Sticky Fried Vibes, S2, Umami, 0159, Yee, and more!
Another great thing about being based here is being able to connect with bass crews in other Asian cities, like our first international collab which was with Planet Turbo in Seoul. There’s a kind of community vibe on a regional scale when it comes to collaboration and exchange which is sick.
Do you have a specific sound or vibe?
Our nights span the full bass spectrum from UKG to breaks, 140, dubstep, jungle, drum & bass… and we usually programme things to kick off at around 130 bpm and work their way up throughout the night. With the label, we’re gonna have the same approach with covering a wide range of styles that we vibe with.
Do you have a regular artist roster – who can we see releasing with you?
Since we’re a new label, we don’t have a regular roster yet but we’re really excited about developing MMEE, who produced our first single ‘Headtop’ featuring Killa P.
With FTD002 we’re bringing in Azumai and Vecsille who are two up and coming Japanese producers. Azumai previously released with Critical and RAM’s sister label ProgRAM, and we’re also buzzing to be working with Vecsille as this is his first official release.
We’ve had our eye on Vecsille for a while because he’s been making waves in the Tokyo underground where his sets have been smashing it. So, being a part of his journey as his first label means a lot to us!
Tell us about your A&R process…
So far it’s been really organic; working with people we know and who are in our network. We’re keen to work with people in Asia and also the Asian diaspora – so if you’re reading this and that’s you, get in touch!
What makes you different from other labels?
Ultimately, the genres that we’re passionate about are UK in origin and the music on the label will resonate to bass heads regardless of where they’re listening in the world. What makes us different boils down to our mission and POV of being based in Hong Kong and having a multicultural crew (Chinese, British, Singaporean, Dutch, Malaysian…) that guides our decisions on a DNA-basis.
What does it take to run a bass music label in 2025?
Caffeine, blood, sweat, and tears.
What have you got coming up we should look out for?
In April, we’re doing the official Hong Kong launch party for Outlook Festival for the third year in a row. And, of course, FTD002 and FTD003 which we’ll be rolling out over the rest of this year!

Club Culture x Pop Up Culture: The legendary nightclub and anti-club party specialists unite, championing the evolution of club culture.

On March 19th, London’s legendary Ministry of Sound joined forces with pop-up specialists Lab54 to host a first-of-its-kind secret party—in the women’s toilets. Now, revealing the secret collaboration, Ministry of Sound and Lab54 are announcing the start of an on-going partnership with more pop-ups to come. Kicking off on May 4th, Lab54 will return to the site of the ‘break-in’, minus the bolt cutters, to host the first in a series of Toilet Takeovers.

Late on a mid-week evening, Lab54 and 100 accompanying ravers ‘broke’ into the venue, armed with balaclavas, sound systems, and a trolley load of alcohol, with footage from the event spreading virally across social media and reaching 15 million views so far. Experts in the unconventional, Lab54’s ‘anywhere but a club’ ethos has led founder, Joe Gordon, and the lab-community, to party all around the world, from castles to arcades to bagel shops, hotel rooms to yachts and beyond.

Inspired by the enduring spirit of club culture, the inaugural party witnessed the unlikely marriage between the ‘Anywhere but a club’ specialists with one of the UK’s most iconic venues to spark conversations around the ever-evolving nightlife landscape. United in their combined reverence for community, the event paid homage to where Ministry, and rave culture itself, started some 35 years ago.

Says Lab54 founder Joe Gordon, “I think the paradigm shift we’re seeing in nightlife at the moment makes it important for clubs like Ministry to work with communities like ours to help reflect this in their offerings to ravers and what better way to do that than going back to their roots and pranking the online rave community!”

Since its inception in a disused bus garage in Elephant & Castle, Ministry of Sound has continued to evolve and shape the capital’s nightlife industry, maintaining its revolutionary attitude. Today, the iconic venue continues to pave the way for superclubs to support the modern raver, with accessible £5 tickets, sober raves, and 3 brand-new in-house club nights launched: Smoove, URGE, and Disco Daddy.

Says Ministry Group’s Managing Director Caitlin McAllister, “Club culture has always been about pushing boundaries, and the intersection of pop-up culture with establishments like Ministry of Sound is a reflection of how the industry is evolving. There’s an irony in a pop-up ‘breaking in’ to a club but that’s exactly the point – we need to bring new ideas to our spaces.”

Landing on the bank holiday weekend, the first official Ministry x Lab54 Toilet Takeover party will see the club’s loos transformed once more on Sunday 4 May. More details, dates and events to be announced – keep your eyes peeled at; @ministryofsound @lab54_uk

A package arrived on my doorstep one random Monday. Inside was a handwritten note from Skrillex: "Hope you find some time in your busy life to listen to this album from start to finish. ᥫ᭡ Sonny"
Spoiler alert: I made time. And within just a few minutes of listening, it became clear that this was the sound of an artist who has nothing left to prove—but so much more to say.
Born Sonny Moore, the prodigy who erupted from the MySpace ether has spent over a decade shapeshifting—punk screamer, dubstep deity, pop architect—only to return now with the elusive album his ride-or-die fans could only dream of since the seminal Recess back in 2014. His disciplined Quest for Fire and Don't Get Too Close albums of 2023 were drops of water on a desert tongue, and those fans never stopped aching for the return of that vintage, feral Skrillex growl.
But here it is now—reimagined, reborn and roaring back into our cerebellums. Featuring 34 tracks, the album is his Interstellar, a sprawling, cyclical epic that loops back to his roots while spiraling into the stratosphere. It's Skrillex unchained, a cathartic eruption that finally fulfills his Atlantic Records contract after 15 years and opens the floodgates to a future where his music answers to no one but his own restless genius.
Skrillex in late-2024 revealed his plans to go independent after completing his Atlantic deal by virtue of his next body of work, today's release of F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3. "I've never felt more inspired and in lockstep with my intentions as an artist," he said at the time.
The stakes have never been higher. Few artists wield the kind of influence Skrillex does, and fewer still exit major label deals on their own terms. Going independent means full creative control, and if history has taught us anything, it's that Moore thrives when the rules don't apply.
As he cuts the corporate cord, one truth rings even louder than his ageless dubstep: Skrillex hasn't just come home, but redefined what home can be.
Kelly Knisel/EDM.com
A time capsule finally cracked open, the album features many long-lost tracks that once lived only in online forums and grainy SoundCloud rips, shaping the instincts of today's biggest DJs when they were still kids, wide-eyed and wired to his sound. These unearthed gems now carry with them a sense of both nostalgia and evolution, proving that the music we wait for doesn't just belong to the past, but also to the future it unknowingly built.
But FUS isn't just a trip down memory lane. If it's a museum tour of past glories at times, it's a mad scientist's lab at others, where Skrillex brews up boundary-pushing bangers with reckless creativity.
He tosses convention into a shredder with Virtual Riot on the anarchic "WHILE YOU WERE SLEEPING VIP," producing snarling synths that gnash through a rabid rhythm. Then comes the stunning "RECOVERY," his long-awaited collaboration with fellow music production savant Space Laces, with whom he takes dubstep to the bleeding edge.
That subversive spirit runs roughshod through the album, like in "GULAB XX." Equal parts seduction and destruction, the track finds Naisha's come-hither vocals mutating into a ferocious drop. Skrillex goes even further with his contrarian approach in the sublime "LOOK AT YOU," a haunting cut with Jónsi where distorted textures envelop you like a sensory deprivation tank—claustrophobic yet transcendent.
Skrillex performing at Miami's Ultra Music Festival on March 29th, 2025.Kelly Knisel/EDM.com
Amid the pandemonium, we find moments of tortured beauty. "SAY GOODBYE" features a spellbinding lyrical performance from NJOMZA, whose vaporous voice drifts like mist over Skrillex's hypnotic production before fracturing under the weight of a guttural dubstep drop. It's a duality that defines the album—serenity and savagery, woven together with a virtuosic hand.
That duality blooms fully in "VOLTAGE," a mythic beast of a track that fans have chased like a white whale since its early teases back in 2011. Now officially unleashed, it's a reminder that even in his most tender moments, Skrillex is still electronic music's architect of the collision course between clarity and chaos.
It all points to a legacy somehow still in its infancy for Skrillex, who seems to be just warming up, despite already reshaping the sound of a generation. As he severs ties with the label machine, his next chapter feels less like a leap into the unknown and more like a seasoned producer betting on himself after years of navigating the industry's ups and downs in lockstep with a fan base that's stuck with him through every pivot.
To that end, the album isn't some ethereal farewell, but a loud, practical flex of what Skrillex can do when he's calling the shots. Expect more collabs, more risks and a lot more noise, all straight from the source.
You can listen to F*CK U SKRILLEX YOU THINK UR ANDY WARHOL BUT UR NOT!! <3 below and find the album on streaming platforms here.

While thunderclouds cracked open above Miami and Ultra Music Festival fell silent due to a flash flooding warning, Kaskade found himself DJing beneath a plastic tarp on the deck of a swaying boat—and made it one of the most unforgettable moments of Miami Music Week.
The multi-Platinum DJ and producer teamed up with Mary Lou's to host a private pop-up party at sea attended by just 150, including members of EDM.com's staff. The intimate event was already one of the week's more sought-after, but it was the ensuing storm that that elevated the affair from exclusive to unforgettable.
As the rain intensified and wind whipped across the deck, crew members and fans quickly threw a tarp over the DJ booth, erecting an impromptu shelter. An unfazed Kaskade leaned into the moment, dropping his 2008 deep house classic "Raining" in a lighthearted nod to the chaos. At one point, he found himself DJing on just one functional CDJ.
The tarp seemingly sagged under the weight of rainwater as fans held it up themselves, transforming the pop-up into a shared memory of what happens when Mother Nature collides with dance music's collective boundless spirit. Somewhere between the thunder and the bassline, the scene turned into folklore.

This years Ultra Music Festival in Miami gave us a lot of joyful moments, however it wasn’t all smooth sailing as a longstanding feud finally came to a head.
At the end of deadmau5’s set he took a bit of a jab at James Hype saying, “How do I James Hype my way out of this one?” and then randomly scratching the decks followed by him sarcastically saying “real DJing, I’m just saying.” This seemed to be mocking James Hype’s war against pre recorded sets. After that jab James Hype has decided he wants to throw a right hook in return and has challenged deadmau5 to a boxing match.
In an interview after Ultra, Hype said, “I’m going to make sure he lives up to the name of deadmau5 because I’m going to kill him in the ring. Who does this? Only me.” Deadmau5 has accepted the challenge already getting together a team for his training camp so that he can end this feud once and for all. He had his own fighting words saying, “after this fight he’ll just be James because there will be no more hype around him after I knock him out.”
The two legends of DJing haven’t set a date yet, but soon we’ll be seeing them switch from making people sing, to stepping into the ring.

Even in Las Vegas—a city built on spectacle—the demand for Tomorrowland and Insomniac's "UNITY" has exceeded capacity, transforming the event's original three-night debut into the beginning of something bigger.
After a rapid sell-out of its debut dates over Labor Day Weekend, the EDM powerhouses are expanding their collaborative Vegas Sphere event series with six newly announced shows. The immersive "UNITY" experience will now return for encore performances September 19-20, September 26-27 and October 17-18.
"UNITY" marks the first-ever collaboration between Insomniac and Tomorrowland, two of the most influential forces in electronic dance music. The announcement alone sparked a frenzy, with pre-sale tickets evaporating in mere minutes. That momentum has now materialized into three more weekends of shows at the world’s most advanced entertainment venue, which recently hosted its first-ever electronic music residency, Anyma's historic "The End of Genesys."
At its core, "UNITY" is a narrative-driven audiovisual experience. The production fuses iconic visual motifs from Tomorrowland’s dreamlike stages, Planaxis, Adscendo and Orbyz, with Insomniac's whimsical festival properties, including Beyond Wonderland, Escape Halloween and Electric Daisy Carnival. These thematic universes are set to collide by virtue of a cinematic experience inside Sphere, powered by the venue's record-breaking 16K resolution wraparound LED screen. The experience is anchored by an original orchestral-meets-electronic soundtrack that pays tribute to dance music's history.
Presale access for the six new dates opens here on Tuesday, April 1st at 10am PT. The general on-sale begins April 7th.

In a moment engineered for maximum impact, Subtronics ended his set on Ultra's iconic Mainstage over the weekend by announcing a new album.
Beneath a canopy of lasers and bone-rattling bass, the dubstep superstar unveiled his next project: Fibonacci Part 1: Oblivion, an eight-track EP that marks the first half of an expansive, two-part concept album.
Slated to release April 4th via his own label, Cyclops Recordings, the EP sees Subtronics returning to his signature high-concept world-building. The project leans into the Fibonacci sequence—a naturally occurring mathematical pattern found in everything from seashells to supernovae—as both a blueprint and thematic anchor.
The first installment leans heavily into his roots and spans eight tracks, a symbolic nod to the number since it appears in the Fibonacci sequence.
"Part 1 of the EP conveys that all of reality, in its complexity and grandeur, originates from nature and the fundamental laws of the universe," Subtronics said in a press release shared with EDM.com. "It emphasizes the Fibonacci sequence and golden ratio as intrinsic patterns that govern nature... not through divine intervention, but through physics."

The electronic duo AIGEL reveals the release of their sixth studio album, ‘Killer Qız’, marking a key milestone in their creative journey. The album’s focus track will be ‘Barsı Da Bezdä’.
This is the second album by the group recorded entirely in Tatar, exploring themes of loss and rediscovery, death and rebirth, the complexity of human nature, and trust in faith.
At the heart of ‘Killer Qız’ is a bold narrative: a DJ killer dances until the death of a high-ranking official, then escapes the country with her boyfriend. Figures from Russian society—ranging from “couch troops” to “Rospotrebnadzor employees”—watch their departure, while the “major, the doorman, and the war correspondent” desperately try to cling to the wing of their departing plane. But, as the lyrics declare, “no matter what they do, no one will take them along.” With the speed increasing, the pilot at the controls “plays hardcore.”
Despite the audacious and vibrant energy of some tracks, the album remains deeply personal and introspective. One particularly haunting moment comes in a track where vocalist Aigel Gaisina’s voice is absent; instead, a child’s voice slowly transitions from speaking Tatar to German in real time, capturing the poignant experience of linguistic assimilation. The album concludes with Aigel herself reciting in German, reflecting on the meaning of home—whether it is where one is born or where one is laid to rest.
A surprise addition to the album is a dance track in English, originally written for a short film by renowned clown Vyacheslav Polunin. This nearly wordless song carries the refrain that “life is a comedy,” offering a moment of lightness amidst the album’s weighty themes.
“Since February 2022, we faced a long creative pause—nothing was written, and all words seemed to lose their meaning,” says Aigel. “For three years, we slowly finished pre-war demos and pieced ourselves back together. Emigration intensified the metaphor of searching for new words. Now, Ilya and I live in different countries—Berlin, with its harsh, stylish, and free atmosphere, and rural Montenegro, with its sunny and gentle calm. This contrast has seeped into our music. After a long stagnation, the first language that emerged for me was Tatar—it was like a system reset, returning to my default language.”
One of the last-minute additions to the album, ‘Assimilation’, is a near-documentary-style track in which children gradually shift from resisting emigration to fully integrating into a new culture, replacing their native Tatar words with German. The track opens with sounds from the Berlin subway, and only after completion did Aigel realize that the announcer’s voice declares, “the train is heading towards Ruhleben”—a district in Berlin that translates to “peaceful life.” This unintended coincidence perfectly encapsulates the song’s theme.
Ilya Baramiya shares his perspective on the album’s production: “I liked how Baauer described his album Planet’s Mad—drawing from ’90s dance music, inspired by Fatboy Slim, Daft Punk, and The Chemical Brothers. These artists didn’t stick to strict genres but focused on creating a unique atmosphere. We’ve taken a similar approach here, incorporating a broader range of influences—from K-pop to hard bass. There’s almost no hip-hop in this album.”
AIGEL, the duo of Tatar poetess and vocalist Aigel Gaisina and St. Petersburg electronic musician Ilya Baramiya, is known for their sharp lyrics and innovative sound in Russian, Tatar, and English. Their hit song Tatarin has amassed over 140 million views on YouTube, while their track You Born won a Silver Lion at the Cannes Lions festival. In 2023, their Tatar-language song Pıyala made history by topping the charts in over 10 countries and reaching the Billboard TikTok chart.
Since 2022, AIGEL has openly spoken against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Their performances in Russia were banned, leading them to leave the country—Aigel now resides in Berlin, while Ilya lives in Montenegro.
To celebrate the release of ‘Killer Qız’, AIGEL will embark on a concert tour. Tour dates and ticket information can be found on their official website: aigel.band.
