The figure behind Rhythm Cult has seen his passion project become one of the most highly regarded underground house and techno labels of the last decade. Curating selections from some of the most forward-thinking electronic artists in the industry, the imprint has initiated the likes of Ian Pooley, Funk D’Void, Cinthie, Satoshi Fumi, youANDme and DCLVIII OFC into the Cults ever-expanding roster in recent years. With a growing tribe of followers and DJ heavyweights such as Laurent Garnier, Dixon and John Digweed throwing support behind releases, Rhythm Cult has become a firm favourite amongst discerning selectors, blending astute dance floor dynamics and a cutting-edge sonic signature. 
As a DJ, Loraine cut his teeth at the tender age of nineteen becoming the resident at the infamous Monkey Club in Guernsey. Here he regularly turned out five-hour sets that required him to dig deep into his vast collection. Supporting everyone from Brandon Block to Goldie he earned a reputation for marathon sets, honed his skills as a precise selector and developed a taste for the innovative deep electronic sounds that would inspire the label’s formation. Loraine would prove to be no slouch in the studio either, and his releases were championed by the likes of Laurent Garner, Maceo Plex, and Sasha. 
With Rhythm Cult celebrating its tenth-anniversary last year, he delivered an exclusive DJ mix for Decoded, so we caught up with Paul to talk inspiration, the label’s longevity, and his plans for its future. 
RC seems to be a label that has established support from a wide range of underground DJs. Can you tell us about the ethos of the label and why you think it appeals to such a diverse range of selectors?
At Rhythm Cult, my ethos has always been about curating music with true longevity – a quality that stands the test of time. I’ve consciously chosen to step away from fleeting trends and fads, instead focusing on artists who bring something unique and enduring to the table. I’m not interested in what’s popular for the moment, but in music that resonates deeply and remains relevant for years.
That’s the sound I personally gravitate towards, and it’s the kind of sound I want the label to reflect. This approach has really paid off, especially with our Details series, which has proven that timeless quality. The artists in that series and their music have shown that they can withstand the test of time, and that’s the goal with every release we put out.
By sticking to this ethos of quality over trends, I think we’ve managed to appeal to such a diverse group of underground DJs. They recognise that we’re committed to something more substantial, and that kind of integrity resonates with people who value longevity in music.
We’ve heard that you started out as a resident at the infamous Monkey Club in Guernsey. Can you tell us a little about those heady days, your background and how they inspired the formation of Rhythm Cult?
You’re right, I was the weekly resident DJ at the infamous Monkey Club in Guernsey for almost seven years, and it’ll always hold a special place for me. It was the best venue – 500 capacity, located in a basement with no windows, a ridiculously loud sound system, and unforgettable nights with great friends. The energy from the Guernsey crowd was unlike anything I’ve ever experienced; they really knew how to bring it. It was pure energy, and it’s the definition of what it means to truly “have it.”
As a resident DJ, I had the opportunity to warm up week in, and week out, for some incredible names like Danny Howells, Jody Wisternoff, Gaz White, Brandon Block, Lisha Lasha, Lottie, DJ Sonique, Alex P, Steve Lawler,  I even warmed up for Goldie once. So, you can imagine how diverse my record collection became over the years—it was vast, spanning across many genres and sounds.
Those days in the Monkey Club were a huge influence on the formation of Rhythm Cult. They taught me so much about reading the crowd, about the importance of building energy, and how to create an atmosphere. The experience helped shape the direction of the label, as I wanted Rhythm Cult to have that same raw, underground spirit, but also with an emphasis on quality and timelessness. That ethos was born out of the energy and diversity I encountered in those early years.
Last year marked the label’s 10th anniversary. What’s the key to RC’s success and how hard has it been to navigate the shifting sands of the electronic music scene over recent years?
Music is my life, so for me, running Rhythm Cult is a labour of love – and it always will be. For me, it’s something I’m addicted to, and I won’t stop. I’ve always been committed to the long haul, and that’s been a big part of Rhythm Cult’s success. It’s not about chasing quick wins or jumping on trends; it’s about staying true to what I believe in, even when the landscape shifts. The key to the label’s success has been consistency, quality, and a true passion for the craft.
Navigating the ever-changing electronic music scene over the years hasn’t always been easy. The landscape can shift quickly and staying relevant while keeping that sense of authenticity requires dedication. But I’ve always been focused on long-term goals, and that’s helped me steer Rhythm Cult through the changes. My aim has always been to take the label from minor to major – eventually – and we’re still pushing towards that.
We’ve built something with staying power, and we’ll keep going, no matter how the scene evolves.
You have launched the RC Select series recently. Can you tell us a little bit about exactly what this is and the philosophy behind the series?
Yes, Rhythm Cult is a multi-genre label, but with Select Series, I wanted to create something focused solely on the dancefloor. It’s all about tracks that keep the energy high and the crowd moving. My goal is for every release to end up on DJs’ “Must Haves” playlists.
We kicked things off with Alive by François Dubois and Liam Garcia, which hit the top spot on Beatport’s best-selling charts. It’s the kind of energy we’re after – tracks that instantly connect with the crowd and keep the vibe strong all night.
Last year saw you heading out to Ibiza to DJ at Pikes with Funk D’Void. How was the experience and what are your thoughts about the state of play on the island?
Yes, it was great to see you in Ibiza and spend some quality time together – thanks for coming! I’ve been lucky to DJ on the island for over 15 years now, all thanks to Ryan O’Gorman. He’s the one who got me started, first playing in the Red Box at Space, then the next year on The Terrace, and I’ve been back every year since. Last year marked my 6th year DJing at Pikes (apart from the Covid break), and I have to say, it’s still one of the best places to play or party on the island. There’s something magical about the atmosphere.
I love playing in Freddies, and also by the poolside for my more eclectic sets on Sundays. Last year, I had the chance to play in the new room, Plaza Mayor, for the first time, and the vibe was unreal. As for the state of play on the island, it has still got that unique energy, but things are definitely evolving. There’s more competition now, but venues like Pikes continue to stand out because they offer something different- intimate and with a real sense of community and a deep history. That’s what keeps me coming back.
I’m also excited to hear that UNVRS is opening up this season, and I’ve seen that Carl Cox will be hosting a residency there. I’m so happy about this news – it’s great to see the island still dedicated to showcasing the world’s best DJs and underground artists. It’s exactly the kind of space Ibiza needs to keep that true underground spirit alive.
The label’s release schedule seems to have accelerated over the last twelve months with some incredible artists joining the Cult. Can you reveal what is in store for 2025 and what you are most excited about for the forthcoming year?
We’ve kicked off 2025 in style! We’ve already dropped two incredible releases – DCLVIII OFC’s “No Soul,” which will be a Beatport exclusive on February 20th, and Fiorella’s “Velvet Rebel,” which is available now as a Traxsource exclusive and will be out worldwide on February 6th. Both tracks have been massive hits, with amazing support from DJs like Radio Slave, Laurent Garnier, Danny Tenaglia, Jamie Jones, Chris Lake, Damian Lazarus, Bushwacka, Sasha, Âme, and many more.
Looking ahead, we’ve got some exciting releases lined up. We’ll be dropping a follow-up EP from Orlando Voorn, a new single from Yotam Avni with a fantastic remix from youANDme, and a deep, chuggy release from Hardway Brothers. Sascha Dive is revisiting his classic “Brother’s Vibe”, originally released on our vinyl-only series, with a fresh tribal version and remixes from Francesco Mami and YokoO.
And here’s the big one for me – my first single on Rhythm Cult! I can’t believe it, but it’s true. Minor Major is a track I wrote 12 years ago, and I’m giving it new life with some incredible remixes from Funk D’Void, Acitone, DCLVIII OFC, and Mark Jackus. It’s shaping up to be a truly exciting year, and I can’t wait to share all the new music and incredible talent we’ve got lined up!
Which artists/producers are you most excited in 2025 and why?
There are some incredible artists and producers that are really exciting me in 2025. LOLOMAN, Saporta, Tod Louie, Polygonia, E-Bony, Anthony Rother, and Lee Scott are all pushing boundaries with their unique signature sounds and great energy. Each of them has a distinctive style that really stands out, and I’m sure you’ll be hearing a lot more from them in the coming months and years. They’re all artists that I’m really excited to see evolve, and I’m looking forward to what they have in store for the future.
Can you give us your top three RC picks for those unfamiliar with the label so that they can check them out? What is special about each of these tracks for you?
No, I can’t, I’m sorry he he, it’s like trying to pick a favourite pet! Every release on Rhythm Cult is unique and special in its own way. What makes each one stand out is the quality and authenticity behind it, and that’s what I’m most proud of. All I can say is, if you genuinely love house and techno, do yourself a favour and check out Rhythm Cult. I’m 100% certain that you’ll find music you’ll fall in love with.
Recently you have had some incredible DJs featured on your Cultcast mix series. Can you tell us a little more about the series and what you have in store on there?
The Cultcast mix series is a fantastic platform where we showcase some of the most talented DJs in the scene today. It originally began as a collaboration with Vanity Dust, an independent music journalist based in Barcelona and a very close friend. In the beginning, the series was actually called Cultdust—a nod to our partnership—where we featured exclusive mixes alongside in-depth interviews with the artists, giving listeners a deeper insight into their creative worlds.
Over time, we’ve been fortunate to feature incredible talents like Dinky, André Lodemann, Bushwacka, Rui Da Silva, and Reboot. Eventually, we merged this with our Rhythm Cult artist mix series, which evolved into what is now the Cultcast. For our upcoming 40th episode, we’re thrilled to have Timo Maas on the Soundsystem, along with confirmed sets from Ryan Crosson, Shaun Reeves, and Radio Slave. There’s so much exciting music in store, and we can’t wait to share it with our audience!

Hailing from Sheffield in the UK, TITAN has gained international recognition in the drum & bass scene, having used social media as his weapon for success. With millions of views and streams across platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and SoundCloud, the rise of this DJ is hard to go unnoticed. Formerly an eager powerlifting champion, TITAN found his love for DJing while on rest due to a severe sporting injury. Although a major setback in his lifting career, this seemingly proved to be a game-changer in the start of his music profession, utilising his time off to master the art of mixing. From learning to mix on his phone using the app ‘djay’ to playing some of the largest shows in drum & bass history, notably Let It Roll On Tour and Bassfest. Other notable career highlights include supporting headline shows for Kanine and Turno, while continuing to play for some of the UK’s leading promoters—DnB Allstars and RUN—both nationally and internationally.
TITAN released his first mix in July 2022, which came only two weeks after picking up his first pair of Pioneer DJ FLX6s. Since then, he has released eight SoundCloud mixes and recorded DJ sets for the likes of Kool FM and Elevate Records. Over the past two and a half years, he has evolved his signature sound, finding the balance between “dark, heavy, and beautiful” drum & bass. This is most apparent in his ‘Full Circle’ trilogy, a mix series showcasing his full-cycle progression in mixing technicalities, track selection, and flow. More recently, he is known to make song edits in order to “take elements of the tune and rearrange them to do more techy build ups and drops”, for example ‘Off The Ground’ by Sub Focus.  As such, he is able to weave sections of tunes not otherwise possible to create euphoric storyline-like sets for both listeners and ravers alike. 
Heavily influenced by artists such as Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, and A.M.C, TITAN’s sets draw on neuro, jump up, and future drum & bass. Throughout his progression in the scene, he has also supported upcoming producers: Lukher, RageMode, and Suune to name a few. His meticulous track selection enables him to find and showcase unheard of producers that may not yet be fully appreciated for their talent, allowing his listeners to uncover hidden gems. There are no boundaries when it comes to a TITAN set. Be it mixing subgenres effortlessly, utilising the breadth of his dubplate collection, and harnessing emotion, he continues to redefine the limits of DJ performance. As the titan of this ever-growing community, he certainly lives up to his name.
So, TITAN, how has it been playing shows recently?
Fantastic, really really good. I was a bit nervous going into it because I wasn’t sure how the whole playing pretty much every week, multiple sets and how the balance would go, but I’ve loved every minute of it. Even the driving, I don’t mind driving. I’ve spent some weekends doing upwards of 15 hours of driving but I’m driving to somewhere I get to play my favourite tunes and music to a group of people that love the same music as me. To be able to do that and get paid to do it? Sign me up!
Sounds like you’ve been enjoying the process. Has there been a particular moment in your journey that’s been a highlight for you?
There’s a few that come to mind. The first one most recently was the Let It Roll x Run set at Prospect Centre, Bristol. It was awesome. I don’t think it was the biggest crowd I’ve ever played to but the music that I played was purely the stuff that I like playing. I played a little bit of jump up earlier on and it didn’t really get the reaction that it normally does. I was kind of happy about that in a weird way because, whilst I like jump up, neuro has my heart. I don’t know what it is but I think it’s the cinematic and emotional aspect of it. When I go to a rave as a raver, I want to feel something. I want to feel the best way, and nothing does that quite like neuro for me. To be able to do that and it be received in the same way that I enjoy it is just wonderful. I’m actually so glad nobody was recording me at the time because I was trying my best to keep it together. You wouldn’t get this at a house or techno rave would you?
Drum & bass seems like a huge part of your life now, but are there any other music genres you listen to?
I would honestly say that I’m quite versatile with the music that I listen to and the music that I’m able to appreciate. I can listen to classical, I can listen to just about any genre of music and enjoy or appreciate it at the very least. The only exception to that is country! Now, believe me when I say that I have persevered with a lot of different genres like heavy screamo and metal. I’ve gradually warmed to them and there are certain artists that I will listen to including Architect and Linking Park. But country, I just can’t do it. I have tried and it’s just not for me. But in terms of other artists, I will listen to just about anything and everything, from Coldplay to David Gray. If there’s somebody in any given genre I will listen to them, or at least try to appreciate the music that they put out.
It’s good to be versatile! Now, about your future sets, have you got a dream back to back partner?
I think the obvious choice to me is Camo & Crooked and Mefjus. That’s mainly because I want to understand how they go about planning their sets and just get inside of their minds. I find set prepping and planning really interesting. They’ve obviously got their craft down to a T so I think those three would be my choice if I had the option.
You’ve played multiple shows last year and already have a stacked Q1 for 2025. How do you go about relaxing in between events?
Honestly, I find the actual playing the most relaxing part. It’s the prep before midweek leading up to a set I find more stressful for me than playing itself. When I’m playing a set, that’s when I’m in my element. That’s the good part! Whereas when I’m prepping that’s the difficult part. I overanalyse things and I’m hypercritical of everything that I’m doing. Whereas on the day and during the set I’m loving life.
Tell us a bit about the process of putting together ‘Full Circle Part 3’. How long did it take you to curate?
Honestly, it depends what you mean by curate because I started putting the mix together and curating blends literally  a week after I posted ‘Full Circle Pt 2’ in December 2023. But in terms of actually putting it altogether, I was running that set, trialling, and adjusting it for about two months prior to me actually posting it. I realised that there were loads of different blends in the original set that I liked but some of them were getting good reactions from some crowds, and the crowd that I wanted to tailor the set to most was the Let It Roll crowd. That set was the closest version to the final iteration because the blends that I played there were a little bit different to the blends that I normally play but they were more in line with my taste and preferences. And they were really well received, which is how a lot of them ended up in the final iteration.
What part of this mix has gained the most attention since its release?
I think there’s one part in particular that’s gained the most traction and attention from people, and I’m so glad it has because it is—by far—my favourite part of the mix. It’s around 37:00 with RageMode’s ‘Ashes (I Fall)’, his new tune coming out, and I think that is one my favourite tunes. It’s just everything I want my sets to encapsulate: feels-y, dark, heavy, beautiful, everything. Literally finding the balance between dark, heavy, and beautiful. That song, down to a T, is perfect. So yeah, I’m glad that part was received and picked out amongst all the other blends and that it stood out to everyone.
Now that the ‘Full Circle’ trilogy has come to a close, are there any new mixes on the horizon?
Yes, so the plan regarding mixes is I want to drop a more vibe-y, dancefloor-esque mix just before summer this year. I’m going to try to make that one more about vibes because I feel like ‘Full Circle Part 3’, whilst it was a technical demonstration and it’s my sound in a nutshell, I don’t feel like that sort of mixing style is easy to listen to outside of a rave setting. Whilst it might get really good reactions in a rave, outside of a rave it’s a lot and it’s very intense. Whereas, the mixes I tend to listen to, and the mixes that I feel will be better received, are the ones that are slightly slower paced but easier to listen to. That’s the plan for the next mix. And then, potentially, there will be another special one towards the back-end of this year, just in time for Australia and New Zealand summertime. 
That’s an exciting road ahead! Now looking at your journey as a DJ, is there anyone in your personal life you couldn’t be doing this career without?
Ah, too many people to mention! But as I’m sure the majority of people that follow me already know — my older brother, Max. None of this would be possible without him. I do genuinely mean that 100%. I wouldn’t be doing any of this without him. He was the one that pushed me into getting decks because I didn’t see this as a career. I didn’t even think this would be doable as a hobby. So yeah, I am forever grateful and I can’t thank him enough.
Is there anything in particular you’re looking forward to in your 2025 calendar?
Yes, absolutely! I’ve got more than a few things that I’m looking forward to this year. The big one that’s been announced is Tomorrowland. And I’ve got a couple others coming up that I’m unbelievably excited for. So yeah, this year is going to be unbelievable. I can’t wait.

Deep, melodic, and enchanting House and Techno Kings Camelphat return for their third consecutive year to their highly-acclaimed Pacha Ibiza Residency on Tuesdays. It is starting May 20th all throughout October 7th. This year, massive special guests return, as well as new, exciting names.
Tuesdays at Pacha Ibiza
Each and every Tuesday, CamelPhat will play alongside like-minded artists with their own signature styles. From globe-trotting superstars to red hot new talents, the line-up has been exceptionally assembled and is brilliantly coherent while offering plenty of variety.  Playing will be Adam Ten, Alan Dixon, Alex Wann, Âme (Live) and Arabic Piano. It doesn’t stop there, Notre Dame, Olympe, Parallelle, Patrice Bäumel, Pete Tong, and Rafael Cerato are also included. Re-Type, Samantha Loveridge, Samm & Ajna, Scenarios (aka Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt), and Shimza will perform also. Finally Son of Son, Sparrow & Barbossa, Tigerblind, Trikk, Ugo Banchi and Vintage Culture complete the lineup.

Miami’s legendary music week is about to get a serious upgrade. Wynn Nightlife, the powerhouse behind Las Vegas’s most iconic club experiences, has announced a landmark partnership with Hyde Beach at SLS South Beach, promising five days of non-stop, sun-soaked revelry from March 26th to 30th, 2025.
This first-time collaboration brings together the unparalleled production and talent curation of Wynn Nightlife with the vibrant, beachfront energy of Hyde Beach, creating a must-attend destination for electronic music enthusiasts. The lineup? Absolutely stacked.
The party kicks off on Wednesday, March 26th with the inimitable Luciano, whose blend of techno and Latin rhythms will set the stage for a week of sonic exploration. Thursday sees the return of Breakaway Beach, partnering with Wynn Nightlife to bring international superstar Diplo and Latin house sensation Hugel to the sands of South Beach.
Friday night explodes with the masked maestro Marshmello, followed by the Italian trio Meduza on Saturday, guaranteeing a dose of chart-topping house anthems. The grand finale on Sunday features the electrifying James Hype, promising a high-energy set to close out the week.

Hidden among the sterile, surreal environment of Severance's latest episode lies a rare turntable with a history as intriguing as the show itself.
A vintage PCS 5 turntable makes a cameo in the seventh episode of Severance's second season, titled "Chikhai Bardo." Encased in a sleek wall unit, it encapsulates the timeless brilliance of Dieter Rams, the German industrial designer whose work shaped some of the 20th century's most celebrated consumer electronics and heavily influenced companies like Apple.
Known for his minimalist ethos, Rams in the early-1960s developed the Vitsoe 606 shelving system, which anchors the turntable, for Braun. Its journey to the dystopian halls of Lumon Industries involved BASA, a vintage furniture and hi-fi company that not only sourced the system, but also ensured its functional authenticity for Severance. The show's producers purchased it from BASA back in 2023 and its installation and testing took over two years, the organization said.
The full setup includes Braun's TG60 tape recorder as well as L450 speakers and a TS45 amplifier. However, its pièce de résistance is Rams' PCS 5 turntable, a relic of a bygone era that was far ahead of its time.
This iconic piece of audio equipment, originally developed by Rams in 1962, embodies his philosophy of "less, but better." Crafted with a blend of enameled steel, chrome-plated steel, lacquered wood and aluminum, the turntable and its elegant, utilitarian design reflect Rams' commitment to making products that marry beauty with function—principles that still resonate in design today.
Back then, the PCS 5 retailed for 658 Deutsche Marks, equivalent to between $1,500 and $2,000 in today's money when adjusted for inflation. It now exists as a prized object for audiophiles and fans of mid-century modern design.
Meanwhile in 2025, the second season of Severance is breaking records after toppling Ted Lasso as the platform's most-watched series globally. The brilliant Apple TV+ sci-fi show has amassed over 600 million minutes of viewership in the U.S. over all existing episodes, ballooning subscriptions by 126%, according to data released by the streaming service.

As streaming platforms wage war for market share, one metric is emerging as a demonstrative measure of success: reporting integrity.
Legitary, a data analytics firm that provides AI-powered auditing, recently released its latest ranking of streaming services with regard to the reliability of their play count data. Their investigation, which examined billions of streams across major music platforms in 2023, calculates a "Legitary Anomaly Score," a metric designed to measure reporting discrepancies.
The ranking not only highlights operational transparency, but also reveals significant shifts in the streaming ecosystem. SoundCloud's ascension to the top spot is particularly noteworthy, overtaking industry stalwarts like Spotify and Apple Music as the resurgent platform works to strengthen its market standing a decade after near-bankruptcy.
Legitary's analysis "underscores SoundCloud's commitment to transparent reporting practices," according to a press release. Meanwhile, YouTube and TikTok appear near the bottom of the ranking due to purported frequent disparities in their reporting accuracy. Along with iHeartRadio, they round out the bottom three spots in a list of 10.
"This year's ranking reaffirms that innovation and a commitment to quality can disrupt even the most established players," said Legitary CEO Nermina Mumic. "Transparent and reliable reporting is the cornerstone of a sustainable future for the music industry."

If you haven’t heard, Fyre Festival II is coming back. Well at least Billy McFarland thinks so. Last week, Fyre Festival II tickets went on sale including a $1 Million dollar package. Billy announced it would be taking place from May 30 to June 2 on Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo, Mexico. He plans to have artists across electronic, hip-hop, pop, and rock for 2,000 attendees.
This week, Mexico tourism denied claims that this festival event exists. They stated they have no knowledge of this event, nor contact with any person or company about it.
Yesterday, Billy took to Instagram to post an odd video trying to convince us all that Fyre Festival II is happening. In the video, he lists out 7 points as to why the festival is occurring. He takes shots at the Mexican tourism group and reveals he is working with many accommodation groups.
He also stated his production and logistics teams wouldn’t take on organizing a fake festival. The event is being produced by Lostnights – a producer with over 20 years of experience

Boys Noize has been tapped as the exclusive opening act for Nine Inch Nails' sprawling "Peel It Back World Tour."
Kicking off in Europe this June before storming North America in August, the tour promises a collision of electronic music and industrial grit—two worlds that Boys Noize and NIN masterminds Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have already proven they can fuse with fiery results.
Their history isn't new. Last year, Boys Noize reworked Reznor and Ross' brooding score for Luca Guadagnino's Challengers film into a stunning remix album. One of its tracks, "Pre Signal [MIXED]," was named by EDM.com in its list of 2024's best electronic records.
As Nine Inch Nails continue to blur lines between film, rock and electronica, Boys Noize's distorted beats offer a compelling counterpoint to the band's visceral sound. She was a resident DJ for the label in 2018 and since then, her career has skyrocketed to great heights, especially after featuring alongside the likes of Above & Beyond, Oliver Smith, Grum, Gabriel & Dresden, Seven Lions, and more at events such as Tomorrowland, Creamfields, and The Warehouse Project.
Following up on the success of her latest EP, Here I Am, Amy Wiles just released her latest single on February 28 titled, ‘Heard It All Before’, released via Anjunabeats. The track featured Leena Punks and flowanastasia and is a hypnotic track that laid the foundation of the track on emotional chords and melodies. The release of the track also follows up on her recently starting her latest residency at London’s well-renowned E1 and she is also undergoing her tour across Europe and the U.S., including at Dreamstate SF itself.

From featuring in some of Ibiza’s must-visit residencies to headlining the world’s top music festivals, Cristoph continues to showcase his talents as one of the best progressive house producers worldwide.
On this past weekend, Cristoph released his latest track, ‘String Thing’, which will feature on his upcoming album that is set to come out this year. The Slovakian DJ and producer, born as Nikoleta Frajkorova, grew up already being in love with the electronic music genre. When she approached her teen years, Nifra continued to enhance her craft and her dedication to producing innovative tracks caught the eye of Markus Schulz and in 2014, she joined Schulz Music Group, which then lead her to gain prominence in North America (and later the rest of the world).
Since then, she has graced numerous headlining techno and trance stages at international events like ASOT and Beyond Wonderland. A couple weeks ago, Nifra released her latest up-beat jam, ‘Access Code’, via Revealed Recordings of Hardwell. The track wonderfully connects big-room beats with hard techno soundscapes that aim to unleash the dynamic vibes that will amplify the surroundings of the dance floor. The track will also be an absolute top musical piece that will lit up the whole atmosphere of the Cow Palace.

The rising star from Newcastle upon Tyne is magnifiying his presence as a recognizable name in the U.K. trance and techno industry right now. He started off his career conducting phenomenal sets at under-18 events in his local hometown to headlining residencies in Ibiza and Creamfields. Ben Hemsley also increased his fame after producing a fantastic 2-Hour Essential Mix on Pete Tong‘s BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix show back in October 2022.
In 2023, Ben Hemsley won in the ‘Best of British Best Producer’ category of the DJ Mag ‘Best Of’ Awards. For a producer who has featured on the likes of Repopulate Mars, Ministry of Sound, and bebé, Helmsley officialy joined the BBC Radio 1 Residency series back in April of last year and he hosted his first show on the series on June 6th, his birthday, and dedicated his show to Ibiza. ULTRA Europe has just announced its highly anticipated Phase 1 lineup for the festival’s 11th edition, taking place Friday, July 11 – Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Park Mladeži in Split, Croatia. With over 150,000 attendees from more than 140 countries, ULTRA Europe continues to solidify its status as a global phenomenon, uniting music enthusiasts from around the world for an unforgettable celebration of electronic dance music.
 
For its 2025 edition, ULTRA Europe’s Main Stage will feature the world’s most renowned electronic music stars, promising yet another spellbinding experience for the loyal Ultranauts. 

The festival will welcome back veteran artists such as DJ Mag’s 2024 #1 DJ  Martin Garrix, international tastemaker Armin van Buuren, Dutch sensation Hardwell, and multi-platinum producer/DJ Alesso, all of whom have become a household name on the ULTRA Europe Main Stage throughout the festival’s 11-year history.

Zeds Dead are bringing the bass to the iconic Katz’s Delicatessen, transforming the New York City landmark into an intimate, one-night only pop-up show on March 20th.
Known for its towering pastrami sandwiches, Katz's, a staple in the city's food scene since 1888, will become an exclusive concert venue for a late-night set from the influential dubstep duo. The show comes just before their two-night run at Avant Gardner as part of their "Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness" tour, supporting their new album of the same name, which drops on March 7th.
As anticipation builds for the full-length album, their first since 2016’s Northern Lights, this show is a can't-miss opportunity to see Zeds Dead live in one of NYC’s most historic dining spots. It's been in continuous operation for over 137 years, making it one of the oldest delis in NYC.

Tape B has announced a major milestone in his career: his debut headlining show at Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Known for blending vintage hip-hop with dubstep, the Turkish bass music breakout shared the news via Instagram, calling the performance on October 10th his "biggest show yet."
News of the highly anticipated show arrives on the heels of Tape B's induction into the EDM.com Class of 2025, which recognizes artists with transformative contributions to the electronic music scene. With this milestone and the Red Rocks show on the horizon, Tape B’s star only continues to rise.

The man behind the mau5head has always played by his own rules, building a diversified empire encompassing electronic music, gaming, and digital asset culture. The keys to those foundations are changing hands after deadmau5's storied catalog and that of his mau5trap label found new ownership, striking a deal with Create Music Group in excess of $55 million, according to a press release shared with EDM.com.
Encompassing over 4,000 songs, many of which have defined electronic music's evolution over the past two decades, the sale represents one of the most significant catalog acquisitions in the genre's history. It effectively ensures that deadmau5's influential work will continue to thrive across digital platforms, licensing deals and future re-releases.
"When deadmau5 put on that helmet, he didn’t just create a brand—he sparked a movement," said Jonathan Strauss, co-founder and CEO of Create Music Group. "Now, as the stewards of deadmau5 and mau5trap’s legendary catalog, we inherit a legacy that changed music forever."
Founded back in 2007, mau5trap has long been revered as a tastemaker in electronic music, playing pivotal roles in launching the careers of Skrillex, REZZ and the late i_o, among many other influential artists.

The story is bigger, however, than a pure catalog acquisition. The partnership includes a joint venture that yields the promise of new music, ushering in deadmau5’s next creative chapters—and those of mau5trap's broader roster—under the strategic guidance of CMG.
The company has become a disruptive force in the music industry since its 2015 inception, leveraging data-driven strategies to help artists maximize their earnings across streaming, content monetization and brand partnerships. As part of the deal, CMG plans to remaster and re-release key tracks from the mau5trap archive, develop exclusive content and integrate the brand into digital spaces like VR and gaming.
"I have worked closely with Jonathan, Alex and Create for nearly two decades now, building my own career as well as the artists on mau5trap," deadmau5 said. "We didn’t need to look far when we were considering a partner to help get it all to the next level."
deadmau5 is the latest high-profile electronic artist to sell his music catalog, joining Calvin Harris and David Guetta, each of whom inked deals estimated at $100 million. The family of Avicii also reportedly fetched a nine-figure sum in 2022 after selling 75% of the late EDM icon's master recordings and publishing.
