Boutique Campo Sancho Festival returns

Campo Sancho, the boutique festival from Sancho Panza, with roots in London’s underground party scene, reveals its full lineup for 2025. Lovingly curated by founders Jimmy K-Tel and Matt Brown, this year’s edition promises another eclectic mix of audio treats from house, disco, nu-disco and electronica, to soul, funk and reggae, played by legends, rising stars, and everything in between.
Get ready for scintillating sets from Optimo, the pioneering duo of JD Twitch and JG Wilkes, known for their genre-defying sets and revered selector Luke Una, the founder of Manchester’s Homoelectric parties. Underground legend and Adonis/NYC Downlow resident Grace Sands makes her much-anticipated debut this year, as does London DJ, producer, and good vibes ambassador Aroop Roy, and Tia Cousins, whose adventurous, genre-blurring DJ sets and expertly curated radio shows have earned her reputation as one of the most exciting rising DJs on the scene.
Returning favourites include Crazy P founding members Chris Todd and Jim Baron who will deliver a DJ set showcasing their signature blend of soulful house and disco, rising London star Tigerbalm who returns to Campo Sancho with a club-focused set having impressed last year on the daytime stage, and Faith House music maestro Stuart Patterson.
There are plenty of guaranteed party starters in the mix too, including Lisa Loud, Pete Herbert,Serge Santiago b2b David Parr a.k.a. Stompa Phunk Sound System,DJ Louise (Billion $ Babes), and Sophie Lloyd, along with Adam Romo, Andy Wilson, Anouck, Beatbodger, Dicky Trisco, Freddy Love, Junior Richards,Marco de Marseille, Mr Shiver, Roy the Roach, Si Kurrage, and Teo.
All this, plus joyous gospel, soul and pop sounds from the Get Gospel Choir, and unmissable extended sets from the much-loved Sancho Panza founders and residents, Matt Brown & Jimmy K-Tel, who will bring their infectious energy and uplifting vibes to proceedings as always.

Campo Sancho introduces “Upwoods” for 2025, a brand-new secluded woodland area, showcasing a diverse range of soundscapes to complement the main stage energy. Local collective Listen Here curates Friday’s lineup, which features Aidy West, Damian Gee, Harvey Skipper and Ninjō. Brighton’s Camp Bliss takes control on Saturday, bringing relaxed vibes by day and block party by night; an eclectic mix of Camp Bliss favourites, including Eames, BIG RED AL, Alistair from Loft55, plus other musicians, poets, immersive performers and DJs to be announced. Sunday’s lineup, curated by Sancho Panza, brings sets from Emma Noble, Ronnie Turner, Dan The Drum, and Stuart Patterson. Expect laid-back beats alongside signature cocktails and a truly magical atmosphere.

As well as a sterling line-up, there’s plenty to entertain younger Campo campers. including Panic Family Circus, roaming performers, a full arts programme at the Kids Factory, Teen Spirit with a plethora of activities and games, kids entertainers throughout the weekend, plus a kids disco with special guest Lisa Loud!

Monolink unveils first single of 2025 with ‘Mesmerized’

Inaugurating 2025 with his first original production of the year, internationally celebrated German record producer and live act Monolink returns with his brand new single, Mesmerized. Famed for his inimitable song-writing skills and unique ability to blend his own soulful vocals with infectious, electronic soundscapes, Monolink once again delivers a record that captivates both body and mind as he paves the way for another landmark year of new original music. Out now via Berlin-based record label Embassy One, Mesmerized offers a rich tapestry of emotion, rhythm and storytelling that further solidifies Monolink’s place as one of the most innovative voices in music today. 
From the very first note, Mesmerized draws listeners into a world of contrasts. Deep longing is intertwined with stirring instrumentation, as Steffen Linck’s pensive lyrics glide over layers of pulsating percussion and moody synths, creating a track that’s equally suited for moonlit dancefloors and reflective moments. It’s a journey that balances vulnerability and groove, inviting listeners to get lost in its hypnotic embrace. 
Speaking about the new single Monolink commented:
““Mesmerized” is a song about the gravity of human connection. It’s about vulnerability, surrender, and the fear of stepping into the unknown. It was the first song I wrote when we started working on my new album and it somehow turned into the sonic journey that it is now.”
Accompanying Mesmerized is a visually stunning music video that unfolds as a surreal and dark love story. Directed by Nicola von Leffern and starring Jana McKinnon and Simon Frühwirth, it follows Ava and August, a couple whose passionate relationship is strained by fear of abandonment, deep emotional wounds and toxic fights. Despite moments of vulnerability, tenderness and devotion, their connection is still shadowed by a simmering darkness. The narrative plays out against the striking backdrop of Stromboli, a volcanic island in Italy known for its recent eruptions — a powerful metaphor for their tumultuous relationship. Dream-like sequences add an ethereal quality that blurs the lines between reality and emotion, mirroring the fragile, volatile nature of their love. 
A master of weaving narratives through sound, Monolink continues to break boundaries between electronic production and live performance. When night falls, the energy shifts to Hï Ibiza, the World’s #1 Club, where a multi-room journey awaits. Each space will be brought to life by a stellar line-up of world class artists, delivering cutting-edge sounds that unite music lovers from across the globe. 
Bringing unrelenting charisma and energy to the Theatre are The Martinez Brothers, the New York natives have held a residency in the Theatre for the past four years and have become synonymous with Ibiza. The two siblings are joined in the Theatre by Italian titan Joseph Capriati, who will hold down Friday nights at Hï Ibiza with his METAMORFOSI residency, slated to open on July 4th. Also on the line-up for the Theatre is Miluhska, the Miami-based DJ and producer, a natural addition to the stacked roster performing at Hï Ibiza on the 26th.
In addition, house music  will take center stage with Honey Dijon delivering her signature sounds alongside the groove-heavy rhythms of Chris Stussy and the eclectic Damian Lazarus. The latter’s recent album Magickal received critical acclaim and currently dominates airwaves from Tulum to Ibiza. 
Commanding the Club are techno powerhouses Amelie Lens and Anfisa Letyago, whose dark, pulsating beats set the tone for an unforgettable journey. Bursting at the seams with energy, rising star Hannah Laing will add her unique blend of trance and techno to the Club Room, as will Ben Hemsley. Hemsley has skyrocketed to fame in recent years, courtesy of his nostalgic, trance-filled rave style. Completing the Club room line-up is La La, making for a well-rounded roster of acts that will undeniably maintain energy levels at a peak from open to close.
Melon Bomb and The Menendez Brothers x Dom Townsend will keep the Wild Corner alive well into the early hours. Alongside them, the DJ Mag Allstars and Cormac will keep visitors entertained in the notorious special room.

Étienne de Crécy drops new track ‘Take It Back’, featuring Sports

French DJ, producer and perennial electronic artist Étienne de Crécy has today released a new track ‘Take It Back’, featuring US indie duo Sports. Neo-nostalgic and rhythmic, the band’s dream-pop vocals are backed by a signature, one-of-a-kind de Crécy composition, transporting the listener into a realm of euphoric serenity.
‘Take It Back’ follows November’s ‘World Away’, the first single to be released from de Crécy’s forthcoming sixth studio album, WARM UP. The return of the artist saw him collaborate with Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip) on the track. Here, de Crécy’s melodic mastery and prowess in diverse electronic production flawlessly combines with Taylor’s renowned hypnotic vocal. 
With this new album, WARM UP, Étienne de Crécy is taking bold steps. The man known for moving people on the dancefloor has crafted an album meant to be enjoyed at home during the day: the tracks are more chill than clubby, more organic than electronic, and warmer than metallic. Has he gone off into the deep end? It’s more likely the world has pushed him during the height of COVID – a time when beats weren’t exactly echoing through clubs – to create an album for home listening. It’s a shift in tempo. 
Another hallmark of the project is its collaborations. For each track, de Crécy invites an artist, often far-removed from his usual scene, having asked them to freely write a song based on the instrumental he shares – his only guiding principle. 
This has led the artist out of his comfort zone: from the world of clubs and the iconic cube that’s carried him high, from a dancefloor fired up by his sets, from an album where he would have total control, into a soundscape with deliberately blurred boundaries – even reflected on the album artwork’s typography – and with more unpredictability too. 
The lineup he brings together includes an array of surprising personalities, with musical influences spanning indie-pop to rap. Here, the DJ of heady, dizzying nights reinvents himself as a generous, curious host, sharing his infectious joy.
“I reached out to many artists, mostly English or American, whose work I admire and listen to at home. Most of them come from indie-rock backgrounds—not electronic music at all. My request probably caught some by surprise, especially within the younger US indie scene. For example, the band Sports was one of the first to respond.”
“During the travel restrictions, I had to start working remotely. I would send out instrumentals, and in return, receive vocal tracks. We occasionally managed to arrange recording sessions later on, but there are still some artists I’ve never met in person—everything was done over email.”
The album features collaborations with a diverse array of artists: Alexis Taylor (Hot Chip), Peter Von Poehl, Frank Leone, Master Peace, Olivia Merilahti, Sports, Sugar Pit, Kero Kero Bonito, Caroline Rose and Damon Albarn (Blur, Gorillaz).

Marco Carola Returns to Pacha Ibiza For Epic Music On Residency

Tech house titan Marco Carola is back with more cutting-edge sounds each Friday in summer 2025. This fifth season of Music On at Pacha will be the biggest yet with more of the world’s best DJs lining up 

Marco Carola returns to Pacha Ibiza this summer with his legendary Music On party for another boundary-pushing night of essential tech house. Each Friday from 16 May to 9 and 10 October 2025 the Italian tastemaker will be joined by the best DJs on the planet for what is always one of the most talked about parties on the island. 
 
Pacha Ibiza’s flagship house and techno party has offered up the most forward thinking sounds each and every Friday for the last three summers. Music On has a dedicated following of ‘in the know’ music lovers who add their own energy to the proceedings. 
 
Music On is headed up by the Italian superstar Marco Carola. He has been at the forefront of the scene for decades, always innovating while staying true to his roots in the underground. His must-attend events have played out all over the world and each one finds the renowned maestro laying down his signature grooves across the tech house spectrum. 

Each week is a unique journey into the heart of electronic dance music provided by a mix of new school tastemakers and enduring legends of the scene. What inspired you to remix this particular Alphaville track?
I was lulled by music from the 80s like Alphaville, Beegees, Claude Francois. I wanted to tackle
this piece for different reasons, the first is that it’s a piece that my mother loves so a little nod to her But also, there are not many remixes on this group, recently Guetta remixed forever young
which is the most popular.
How did your musical journey begin?
I started when I was 15, it was revelatory for me! It saved me from bullying at school and allowed
me to create connections with people! As soon as I understood that I fell addicted to music and
especially DJing, seeing people dancing, having fun, it’s total fun! Music is a journey that we
transmit when we mix, if the audience doesn’t dance it’s because they haven’t caught on to your
universe or you’re doing it wrong Anyway, it makes me happy and it’s great!

Which artists influenced your melodic techno style?
I’m Influenced by Zafrir , Kevin de Vries , Massano , Tale Of Us. Everybody has a unique style and
is awesome !
What was your approach to balancing the original’s nostalgia with modern elements?
I think it’s important to remix groups or artists from the 80s, it brings freshness to the group and
the style! Alphaville for me was obvious! A group that worked well and still works! Hope this remix
pleases a lot of people

Could you describe your studio setup/key equipment used?
Yes sure ! I Use Ableton 12 , Nexus , VPS Avenger , Sylenth , TAQSIM , Wave Audio , Fabfilter Pro
What was the biggest challenge in reworking such an iconic track?
Find what works with the elements of the original song, the voice in this case! it works very well

EDMTunes Chats with Nicole Moudaber on Groove Cruise 2025

We just disembarked from Groove Cruise 2025 on the gorgeous Allure of the Seas. While we were there, we had a chance to catch up with the Queen of techno, Nicole Moudaber. Nicole has been highly anticipated on this year’s outing and we chatted with her about her impressions, her sets onboard, and more.
1. I’m Scott with EDMTunes here with Nicole Moudaber on Groove Cruise. Thanks for chatting with us. How does it feel to be here?
Nicole – It feels amazing, I am completely disconnected and I love it. The internet connection is pretty shaky, which means no Zoom calls, no emails. Just Me! And 6,700 people.
2. I understand you’ve been on a cruise event before but this is your first Groove Cruise, right? How do you feel that Groove Cruise compares to the other events you’ve done in the past?
Nicole – Yes I have done other cruise events and I am very excited for my first ever Groove Cruise. I’ll find out how I feel tomorrow when I play my first set. Based on what I have seen, I am ready. The energy is high and I am looking forward to it.
3. We came from Miami yesterday during probably the strangest weather that Miami has seen in a generation. How was that experience for you? And tell us what sets you have planned for Groove Cruise.
Nicole – God, I have been in Miami for a month now and all I was doing was calling the Gods, specifically the Sun God, and I got no reply until today. They have blessed us here on the Groove Cruise.
Okay, on to the sets. On Sunday, I will perform a back-to-back melodic techno set with Layton Giordani. Tomorrow night, I have my In The Mood, we have Cristoph and Layton playing, followed by me from 3-5am at the Studio B Ice Rink. I am still unsure if I will be playing techno, because I want to keep it groovy and sexy. So I may just play my groovy tunes instead. I don’t feel being on a boat calls for a dark techno kind of set, so I’m keeping it light and sexy from the waist below kind of music.
4. That’s why it’s called the Groove Cruise, right? The cool thing about Groove Cruise is that it’s all about the unexpected, collabs, or back-to-backs or a DJ playing a set they normally wouldn’t anywhere else. What are some interesting collabs or back-to-backs that you can remember from the past or maybe one you are looking forward to?
Nicole – There is a great collaboration with Jamie Jones coming this year and another one, with the trance legend Armin van Buuren I revere so much. We are working on so much, and two different end of the spectrum on styles. I love that, the challenge. Being a music lover, it can be anything but it’s got to be good at the end of the day.
5. Speaking of collaborations, I imagine you are planning for Music Week. And you’re no stranger to Music Week, you have worked with names like Carl Cox and others. Tell us about your past with Music Week and what you love about it.
Nicole – Oh yeah! I have been coming to Music Week way before I became an artist. It’s a great vibe, but not what it used to be. It’s more about parties now, rather than the Winter Music Conference. Music Week is a fantastic time to throw parties, play with your peers and enjoy the sunshine. Hopefully, we will get the sunshine. Last year, my pool party got rained out. No more pool parties for me.
6. Back to the Groove Cruise – we are going to be hitting Labadee, Haiti tomorrow. Do you plan to go on the beach? And have you gotten to explore the ship yet, and any other stages and sets you’ve liked so far?
Nicole – Definitely planning on hitting the beach to experience Labadee, as I have never been. I am going to check out house legend, Roger Sanchez. I was at dinner last night and saw him play, I want to check him out again.
7. Another fun thing about Groove Cruise is that all the artists mix and mingle with the attendees. Have you had any fun interactions with guests or anything like that?
Nicole – Yeah all the time! They come and poke me and want a picture. They want to talk me and I love it. I think I am going to do the ping pong tournament on Sunday 3pm. I used to be pretty good, so let’s see if I’ve still got it.

Black Coffee, deadmau5, RL Grime and More Nab 2025 Wynn Nightlife DJ Residencies

Wynn Nightlife has revealed the full list of artists set to take over its storied Vegas venues, XS Nightclub and Encore Beach Club, in 2025.
Fans will be treated to the anthemic sounds of deadmau5, Black Coffee, Marshmello, Afrojack, Mau P, The Chainsmokers and Gryffin alongside dubstep and bass music from Excision, RL Grime, Sullivan King, DJ Diesel and many more. Rounding out the lineup are electronic favorites Dillon Francis, Bob Moses, Two Friends and EDM.com Class of 2022 star ACRAZE, among others.
These DJs and producers join the previously announced resident artists ODESZA, SOFI TUKKER and Subtronics.
"We've always loved the energy in Vegas, and partnering with Wynn Nightlife is exciting for us,” ODESZA said in a statement. “We’re ready to craft some unforgettable moments, share new music we’ve been enjoying, and connect with fans on a whole new level."
In addition to the residencies, Wynn Nightlife also celebrated the debut of their country-EDM hybrid festival Desert Saddle at XS Nightclub last month. The brand has also announced its first-ever country music artist residency from Dustin Lynch.

Rare Aston Martin Car Outfitted With Sleek Analog Synthesizer

In the summer of 2024, as the world buzzed about self-driving cars and AI-generated playlists, a 1985 Aston Martin Lagonda rolled into Barcelona’s Sónar+D festival with a different kind of intelligence.
Its new party trick? A built-in synthesizer that transformed the car's leather-clad interior into a live music studio, blending the growl of a V8 engine with the warp and weft of analog synth waves.
The rare Lagonda has always been a misfit aristocrat. Designed in the 1970s with a razor-sharp wedge profile and a spaceship dashboard of early digital screens, it was a car that screamed "future" in an era of boxy sedans. According to Designboom, Aston Martin had outfitted one for the Sultan of Oman with a VHS player, rear-seat TV and crystal bar—gadgets that felt downright sci-fi for the time.
Decades later, Swiss strategist and electronic music producer Stephan Sigrist stumbled upon the rare artifact and envisioned it as his own canvas. The objective was to turn the Lagonda’s backseat into a playground for live music, where passengers could score their own road trip in real time. To realize his vision, Sigrist enlisted renowned Swedish designer Love Hultén, who is no stranger to surrealist music tech. For the Lagonda, he dismantled Roland’s Aira T-8 Beat Machine and S-1 Tweak Synth and rebuilt them into sleek, gunmetal-gray modules. 
Passengers can tweak basslines or layer synths over the engine's rumble. It's a far cry from the silent, sanitized cabins of modern EVs, and perhaps that’s the point. The project nods to the '70s and '80s, when car interiors were cluttered with chunky buttons and luxury meant excess rather hyper-minimalism.
