Super Bowl Sunday has come and gone, with a variety of commercials graded from A to F including a T-Mobile Starlink advertisement. Yes, the one-minute ad showcased a rotating Earth and video moments along with a satellite hovering over the atmosphere. It all returns to the ground with a message to try the free Beta now through July. T-Mobile is taking wireless to the next level with Starlink. What this entails is satellite-to-mobile technology where you can turn your mobile device into a satellite phone, staying connected like never before. We all know T-Mobile’s reputation for quality of phone service, but they’re certainly trying to gain more recognition now. They’re boasting cellular service from rugged mountain peaks to remote lakes, pushing the boundaries of connectivity. You can register for the beta today right here.
What To Know About the Beta
The beta testing is free to iOS and Android users until July and uses a network of low-Earth orbit satellites to grant people high-speed internet access in dead zones. That national park you couldn’t post your Instagram stories at? Full send now. Spotty service on a summit from coast to coast to reach grandma? Gone. Starlink currently has 300 direct-to-cell satellites that provide coverage for the 500,000 square miles of US land not covered by cell towers. There is a catch, however. Only these select models of phones can access it.
Apple iPhone 14 and later (including Plus, Pro, and Pro Max) Google Pixel 9 (including Pro, Pro Fold, and Pro XL) Motorola 2024 and later (including Razr, Razr+, Edge, and G series) Samsung Galaxy A14, A15, A16, A35, A53, and A54 Samsung Galaxy S21 and later (including Plus, Ultra, and Fan Edition) Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and later Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and later REVVL 7 (including Pro) Yes, unfortunately you can only take advantage of the service with a phone from the last four years. And the beta only allows plain text messaging. Voice calls, video/photo sharing, and mobile data will come later. You will also need to update your device to the latest iOS. Lastly, after the beta testing period, you can then decide if you want to continue the service. For T-Mobile customers, rates vary based on your current plan but can cost $15/month; if you sign up for the beta testing before the end of February, you can receive the Early Adopter discount at $10/month. For AT&T and Verizon users, it will cost $20/month. Worth it? Find out how this can help you on T-Mobile’s website here.

The long-awaited reopening of the Miami Marine Stadium is on the horizon. Miami is finally taking real steps to restore its iconic Marine Stadium after years of delays. The city has issued a request for proposals to find a private operator to manage the historic venue on Virginia Key, aiming to reopen it as a world-class concert and performance space.
The operator would help plan renovations, book events, and sustain the stadium financially. The city will handle the costly restoration, but funding details remain uncertain, with previous bond approvals falling through.
We can already begin to imagine all the big names that would rock the stadium on the water. The stadium would especially thrive during Miami Music Week and Ultra.
Officials hope that a finalized renovation plan will solidify funding sources, potentially through new bonds, preservation tax credits, and local taxes. With a fast-tracked timeline, bidders will tour the site this month, proposals are due in April, and a winner could be chosen by May.
If voters approve the selected operator in November, the stadium’s revival will move forward, positioning it as a premier entertainment venue similar to Denver’s Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Miami's beloved boutique festival We Belong Here is raising the stakes for VIP festival experiences, inking a strategic partnership with E11EVEN to introduce an all-new table service concept.
The illustrious E11EVEN, which is consistently ranked among the nation's top nightclubs by Nightclub & Bar Magazine, is bringing its next-level hospitality concepts to the festival's 360° main stage. With this move, the two Miami entertainment powerhouses are bridging the gap between the city's dance music culture and high-end nightlife.
"We're excited to bring E11EVEN's world-class hospitality to We Belong Here," said Gino LoPinto, Operating Partner at E11EVEN Miami. "This partnership allows us to offer festival-goers an unparalleled table service experience and aligns two brands that share a core value of innovating from the status quo.”
Fans of the illustrious E11EVEN can now purchase this rare collaborative festival experience ahead of We Belong Here, which returns to Historic Virginia Key Beach Park from March 1-2.
The festival recently unveiled its full 2025 lineup, featuring headlining sets by Eric Prydz, Kaskade, Lane 8, Louid The Child and Swedish House Mafia's Steve Angello. The undercard is equally impressive, with performances from Sultan + Shepard, Yotto, LP Giobbi, Cristoph and Massane, among others.
Meanwhile, an ancillary partnership with Smorgasburg is curating a stacked lineup of local food vendors, proving that great music deserves great eats.
2025 We Belong Here
Miami’s most intimate dance music festival is growing—but not at the cost of its identity. We Belong Here co-founder Charles Hochfelder said this year's event is "shaping up to be our biggest festival yet."
This year's marks the fourth edition of We Belong Here, and its expansion is clear. The festival’s signature 360° main stage experience is leveling up alongside the Beach and Lost Village stages, both of which annually highlight local and emerging talent.
"Our focus on local and emerging artists is a core part of our festival's identity," added Justin Dauman, co-founder of We Belong Here. "These stages not only provide a unique beachfront atmosphere but also serve as a launching pad for the next generation of dance music stars. We're proud to contribute to Miami's vibrant music scene by giving these talented artists the exposure they deserve."

Renowned producer Adam Beyer continues to leave an strong impression on the techno genre with his latest two-track EP, Do It For The Bass, released on his well-respected Drumcode record label. This EP reflects his ongoing sonic evolution and masterful blend of electronic body music (EBM) elements.
Listeners can eagerly anticipate an invigorating addition to their playlists when they start playing the Do It For The Bass EP from Adam Beyer, bridging the gap between Beyer’s remix of Romina Dez and Muter’s massive 2022 hit, ‘Fascination’, and his upcoming 2025 performances at events such as Drumcode London at Drumsheds on March 22nd, Time Warp, Kappa FuturFestival, and more.
Adam Beyer increases innovative music production style in the Do It For The Bass EP
The title track of the EP ignites passion with its powerful techno beat, featuring a solid kick drum and crisp hi-hats in the background. A two-note riff (which sounds noticeable like a police siren), gradually evolves with increased fuzz and reverb, while a layered, robotic female vocal launches into a rhythmic chant that resonates deeply. The track is hypnotic, compulsive, and very catchy.
‘Circus Freaks’ brings in the emotions from the outset with its profound bass and an unsettling, pulsating riff that mimics processed radio voices as synth notes. Unique vocal elements intertwine with the drum sounds, leading to a thrilling drop characterized by spacey reverb complemented by a soaring melody. As note patterns and snippets of melodies emerge and fade, the overall effect is darkly captivating and vividly inspiring. LA-based producer TOBEHONEST has long outgrown his humble beginnings as a university DJ. He has cemented himself as a worldwide sensation known for fusing Latin and European influences into his club-ready house music. He’s returning to Insomniac Records to offer up his first standalone single on the label.
“Hey Ya” is vibrant tech house primed for golden hour and late-night dance sessions. It revolves around a warm, infectious vocal delivery about getting lost on the dancefloor amid low-slung basslines, snappy bongo fills, swirling staccato melodies, and a sauntering Latin-tinged lead.
“In the past I’ve never written melodic music,” TOBEHONEST says. “But with this record, I tried something new and I believe it has it all – a catchy vocal, a vibrant lead, and a pumping baseline. It shows my versatility as an artist by taking melodic elements and combining them with my TOBEHONEST drum driven production. The team and I worked really hard to get everything together for this record. We all believe this song is a summer hit. After you hear it, I think you’ll know why.”
Championed by superstars including HUGEL, Gordo, Kyle Watson, Cloonee, Joshwa, John Summit, and Chris Lake, TOBEHONEST previously graced the labels with his “Horny” collab alongside San Pacho and his “I Am The One” track with Biscits, amassing 1.2M and 2.4M streams, respectively.

Far up north, in the heart of the heaving broody Mancunian metropolis, grows a gleaming talent from the northern bass bedrock. Manchester-based, Hong Kong-rooted, YAN, has risen steadily through the ranks in recent years. From her early bloc2bloc days to joining the esteemed rosters of Soul In Motion and Makino Agency respectively, the young tech selecta has proven herself a commanding presence in the northern bass sphere.
If it isn’t her clear-cut, sophisticated tech and jungle selections that win you over, then her unruffled and purist approach will do the trick. With sets at Warehouse Project, Shogun Audio and Hit & Run to name a few, YAN possesses lineups at home and far far away, with tasteful tech rollers and deep meditative 174 that pours buckets of emotion and dance motivation on crowds whilst spinning an enticing sonic story. For her, it’s a journey into the heart. Bringing together the UK sonics of London, Bristol and Manc with the budding bass communities of Seoul and Hong Kong, she continues to support the international scenes – championing the deep, the dark and the techy, whilst remaining true to her heart, digging deep for the guiding authentic voice of her inner self, throughout all her music efforts.
One inky ice-cold January night, we finally caught up on her steady rise to power through the local and motherland scenes, the emotions and mates behind the mixing, as well as all things Asian drum and bass.
How’s your day been?
Really good thanks! Coming to you live and direct from my car.
Great acoustics. And Happy Lunar New Year! Tell us, what’s your zodiac animal?
I’m the year of the horse, strong and I think that means I’ve got a lot of energy. Intelligent, high-spirited and quick learners are horse characteristics. Next year will be my year.
Seems like this year is yours already! Let’s go back to the start, how did your drum and bass story begin?
I was around 15 years old, I started attending free parties and just became fully immersed. I’d try and find a free party going on every week and go as much as I can. All I knew was that I loved the music and I was new to this world of raving. The artistry started naturally, I’ve always known that I wanted to do something related to music. So as I started going to more types of events and seeing all these talented female DJs kill it, was what inspired me mainly. I wanted to create that same feeling and same experience for people too.
And you’re killing it!
Thank you. The first ladies that I really looked up to were, of course, the bloc2Bloc crew of the day; Kaz, Indika, Salo and Jazzy Lioness. Around that time in Manchester you had a lot of female talent coming through in drum and bass, which pushed me to get started along with my girls, Jade Louise and Yazmin C. Around here, everyone supports each other- we work together.
We love to see talent supporting each other. What defines the Manchester scene?
Every city has their own vibe, in the Manchester scene we’re all family. We all support each other and everyone is genuinely so passionate about the music, whether you’re an artist or a raver, the love is all the same with everyone. I’m really lucky to be surrounded by such talented people, they inspire me to keep pushing every single day, through their support but also just through. But London also brings the energy. Every time I’ve played in London I’ve noticed, people dance so freely. When I played Shogun Sessions at Corsica Studios, my first 360 set, people were dancing wild! Both cities do have that passion but I feel in London, the moves are bigger, crazier. People let themselves loose in the dance, there’s a lot more freedom of expression. In Manchester, people are still moving but it’s a bit more of a community vibe, a family vibe together.
Who do you want to shout out from Manchester?
Shoutout to the late, great and talented Noxxic. He lived and breathed drum and bass. He was a talented producer and DJ but also just the most wonderful and supportive person in the Manchester scene. You can ask anyone, he’d be at every single party every weekend, even if there were multiple events on that same night, he’d try and attend them all. He always showed up without fail and gave his whole heart to this community, that legacy of his will live on forever.
That’s a beautiful tribute. He’ll always be imprinted on the scene in that way.
Gone but never forgotten.
Rest in power, Noxxic. Let’s talk about UKF15, how did it feel to be on that Bristol lineup and to play out?
I was just… truly honoured to be a part of that lineup. I have no words for it. I remember discovering bass music and Knife Party was actually one of the first artists I’d ever listened to. So it was full circle. The energy of the crowd was incredible. You had the OG fans there who were giving it everything on the dancefloor, there were young fans, old fans and everyone in between. Honestly, those OG fans were showing the new generation how to really move!
Any dance moves we should know about?
This one guy started doing the worm in front of everyone and everyone just started surrounding him and cheering him on. It was a vibe! That’s what I’m talking about, showing the younger fans how to have some fun in the rave.
Bring back the worm! You’ve got some big sets under your belt – which has been your favourite so far?
Last year, my favourite of all time will probably be opening Worried About Henry at The Depot, WHP. It’s always been my dream to play there, being from Manchester, it’s an honour to play on that stage that’s such a staple for the Manchester scene. As a venue it’s so imposing, this big massive imposing complex that feels otherworldly. I’ve basically grown up in those halls, I could never have even imagined that I would one day play on that stage. When I got up there, I had to just stay focused otherwise I would’ve lost my cool. I thought, I’m going to have to kill this set, I can’t bring anything less. Surreal. I’ll never forget that night, that was a real moment of evolution. I planned a special set for that event too, a mix that I would’ve wanted to hear when I first started raving.
What kind of mix? What made it a jewel?
Total euphoria. Feeling the music in your heart, your soul, your body. Proper getting totally lost in it.
Is that how you would describe your signature sound?
I play deep, dark, tech drum and bass with hints of soul and jungle. When I play out, I really want the crowd to feel it deeply and become lost in the music. That’s the kind of music that resonates with me.
You take people on a journey…
I always start off with a bit of a chill vibe, some soulful liquid with a bit of grit to get everyone in the mood to dance, and welcome them to the dancefloor. Then I’ll slowly build them up, getting darker and darker. But it also depends on who’s playing next after me. I want to make it a smooth overall experience, a smooth transition if that makes sense. I do always say that with every set I like to tell a story. If they listen deep enough, maybe they’ll hear the story I’m weaving through the drums and dance with me through it.
How would you describe your artistry in one word?
Heartfelt. I always want to play with my heart and I vent through my sets. If I’m feeling a type of way or anything like that, I’ll just try and channel those emotions into this set and use it as my creative output.
You have a truly authentic approach.
What do you think makes a tech track stand out?
Deep sub, as standard. You know a tech tune is great, when you hear it and you automatically start moving naturally. But for me, it also includes deep subs, fast drums and most importantly, elements of finesse. The track almost sounds cheeky in a way, and has a lil flex that you just can’t get with another subgenre. A tech roller, you sort of feel it in your soul, but a tech track, it makes you want to move and you can’t stop it.
Who are the tech titans?
There’s so many amazing and talented artists killing the scene right now, but the dons for me right now have to be Koherent, QZB, YAANO and Kyrist. They can never make a bad tune. Every single release is on point. They school us.
Let’s talk about your Asian drum and bass family. What’s the community like out there?
In Hong Kong the scene is rapidly growing. The crews there haven’t been around for long, but what they’ve achieved in such a short amount of time is amazing to see. Feed The Dragon, based there, are growing so fast and always host the sickest parties. I went to an event of theirs and for a split second forgot I was in Hong Kong. All their DJs are so passionate about UK bass music, UK underground music, so much so that you wouldn’t even think that some of them have never even been to the UK.
Drum and bass is truly international! What’s it like in the Seoul bass scene?
It’s much smaller, but all the South Korean artists are also so talented and incredibly dedicated. There’s a radio station called Visla FM that brings the community together, they host underground DJs there all the time. And everyone’s so stylish as well, the creativity is literally coming out the walls. Everyone has their own sense of style too, South Koreans know how to dress! Grunge streetwear inspiration for the underground. I always feel creatively recharged in these spaces out there.
How are you connected to that part of the world?
My family are from Hong Kong and I had a friend from there involved with Feed The Dragon reach out to me about playing at an event, which turned out to be the Outlook promo party. Killa P was headlining and at this night, I tell you, the way this audience was fully sending it, giving it everything they had, it made me appreciate the music all that much more. I felt that maybe we take drum and bass for granted in the UK. All the Hong Kongers at this night were so passionate, so full of joy, that it had a massive effect on me. I realised how much of an impact that this sort of music has on people around the world. Apart from it of course being my homeland, that was very inspiring to see. It’s definitely growing too. More and more artists are going to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and taking the music with them. I can’t wait to see how these pockets of drum and bass develop.
Are there any other Asian collectives you want to shout about?
Dark Metaz in Hong Kong. They showcase a lot of different sounds from bass music, but also their concept is on point – they do some insane production on their shows. There’s also Jungle Jam in Bangkok, MO7 Recordings in Changsa, China, they’re hosting Koherent on their Asia tour – all of these guys are really pushing the sound out in Asia!  Unchained Recordings, the number one bass label in China, are a whole community, creating a space for the sound and for fans to come together in China as well as top tier releases. Every single person involved is so dedicated and the music taste across the board is really tasteful. The ravers and crews also all dance like no one else is watching. I feel like you have to go and see it and experience the pure passion I’m describing. Of course, I want to connect with more projects going on around Asia. I think it’s very important. We all support each other. We gotta represent!
How do you want to make your mark?
Well, I’ve been producing for a while now so hopefully I’ll be able to share that soon. I want to spend my time creating music that I love, sharing it to people and just continue fostering that spirit of community and togetherness. My music is always informed by my feelings and really that first experience I had of being introduced to the deeper and darker side of drum and bass. Every time I DJ or create music, I’m trying to chase that feeling of euphoria again and pay that forward.
That’s what the underground is all about! Finally, where should we look for you in 2025?
You can find me next in Manchester playing Overview Music’s event next month, which is really exciting because it’s one of my favourite labels. Later on in the year, my European debut is soon to be announced, so keep an eye out for that! I’ve also just released a mix for SUNANDBASS, which you can find on their SoundCloud. I’m so proud of this mix and again I’m honoured to have been invited to record this for a brand I’ve looked up to for a long time. It’s a busy year ahead but I’m ready to go!

Afro tech sounds, merging Parisian creativity and Düsseldorf’s signature grooves gave birth to a hypnotic journey through music
The collaboration between Paris-based Hanna Haïs and Düsseldorf producers Dante T. and Mario Da Ragnio has resulted in “Wekena,” a dark yet hypnotic Afro tech track set to release on 7 February 2025 via Donkela Records. The track is available for DJs on Beaport.

This marks a significant step in Afro tech exploration, blending diverse influences and production expertise. “Wekena” stands out with its intricate basslines, rich percussion, and atmospheric vocal snippets.
The track opens with a familiar Afro tech rhythm, gradually morphing into a layered soundscape that feels fresh yet nostalgic. Inspired by the hypnotic tones of The Cure’s “A Forest,” the track balances dark undertones with dancefloor energy, perfect for late-night sets.
The creation of “Wekena” stemmed from serendipitous connections. Dante T.’s spin of Hanna’s track “Space Fair” at Blue Marlin Ibiza laid the groundwork for this collaboration. The trio met at Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) 2024, sparking an exchange of ideas that led to the track’s development. After an initial draft from Hanna in Paris, Dante and Mario added their signature styles before Hanna finalized the project. The track reflects this collaborative synergy, weaving together elements from each artist’s background.
Listen here:

Hanna Haïs, a standout name in the Afro house scene, continues to mesmerize global audiences with her signature sound. Fresh off performances in Dubai and known for tracks like Carthago and Sitting Bull, she seamlessly fuses hypnotic rhythms with rich melodies, constantly redefining Afro tech.
Dante T., the visionary behind Düsseldorf’s renowned Afro house event Alfazar, brings deep expertise and a unique artistic perspective to the genre. Teaming up with Mario Da Ragnio, whose mastery of sound design and melodic composition adds another dimension, the trio delivers an electrifying collaboration. Their synergy is unmistakable in Wekena, a testament to the power of cross-border creativity.

More than just a song, Wekena represents the ever-evolving Afro tech movement. Mark your calendars for its release on 7 February 2025 via Donkela Records, and immerse yourself in its hypnotic energy on Spotify. Stay connected with the artists on social media for their latest updates.
Hanna Haïs’s discography is available for DJs on Beaport and ready to listen anywhere on Spotify. More information about Hanna Haïs and Donkela can be found on social media @hannahaisparis @donkelamusic

ULTRA Worldwide’s renowned underground series RESISTANCE is known as the most international house and techno festival brand. It is at the forefront of innovation in the global underground music scene, bringing its visionary programming to more than 35 cities on all six inhabited continents through stadium stages, international tours, and award-winning residencies.
Now, RESISTANCE is proud to announce its triumphant return to the White Isle this summer for RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025. The group will reclaim its place as a defining force in Ibiza nightlife with a nine-week residency at the famous Amnesia Ibiza, which remains a haven for people who want to experience real clubbing.
RESISTANCE, every Wednesday at Amnesia
RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 will take place every Wednesday from July 23 to September 17, 2025. It will be hosted by Season Residents Adam Beyer and ARTBAT, who will play the main sets every week, switching between Amnesia’s immersive Main Room and iconic sky-roof Terrace to make sure that every night is a unique sound journey. Adam Beyer and ARTBAT are both regulars on RESISTANCE’s international stages. They’ve headlined events in faraway places like Seoul, Split, Tokyo, and Santiago, and they’ve been in charge of the iconic RESISTANCE MegaStructure at Ultra Music Festival and sold-out shows at RESISTANCE Miami’s M2 residency.
RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 will have its usual mix of cutting-edge programming, cutting-edge production, and intense audiovisual experiences. These are the same things that won the residency DJ Awards’ prestigious “Best Ibiza Night” award in 2018.
As of 2017, RESISTANCE had its first club contract at Privilege Ibiza (now [UNVRS]), which is the biggest nightclub in the world. It quickly became a mainstay of the island’s nightlife. RESISTANCE Ibiza put together three amazing seasons of “you had to be there” moments in the history of house and techno that had never been seen before. Carl Cox and Maceo Plex‘s world debut B2B set and Nicole Moudaber, Dubfire, and Paco Osuna‘s first-ever B3B performance were two of the highlights. Their marathon set at the 2017 Season Closing Party became an instant classic in RESISTANCE history.
RESISTANCE Ibiza also says that the famous duo of Sasha and John Digweed will be back together for an exclusive residency during the 2017 season. This partnership was their first time playing together in Ibiza since 2009 and their first club residency in more than 15 years. It was a huge return to form that hadn’t been seen since the end of their legendary run at Twilo New York in 2001.
The RESISTANCE U.S. club residency at M2
ULTRA Worldwide’s first U.S. club residency, RESISTANCE Miami, opened at M2 Miami in 2023 in Miami Beach, home of the event. It brought RESISTANCE’s signature immersive clubbing experience from Ibiza to America for the first time. The six-month residency at RESISTANCE Miami on Saturday nights has become an important part of the city’s house and techno scene, with more than 30 sold-out shows and headlining sets by underground stars such as Boris Brejcha, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Charlotte de Witte, CamelPhat, Joris Voorn, Mind Against, and Amelie Lens.
20 years of planning
In 2025, RESISTANCE will make its debut at Amnesia, the same place that held ULTRA Worldwide’s first Ibiza event in 2007. This will bring the story full circle. RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 is a big reunion that has been planned for almost 20 years. It will turn Amnesia’s sacred buildings into multisensory spectacles all season long, showing off the huge productions, top-notch visual design, and transcendent soundscapes that have become synonymous with the RESISTANCE brand around the world.
Today’s news of RESISTANCE Ibiza 2025 also marks the start of RESISTANCE’s groundbreaking, yearly global club residency program. This will create a circuit of clubbing experiences from Miami to the Mediterranean that has never been seen before. This is the first model of its kind to connect RESISTANCE’s well-known U.S. club presence in Ultra’s hometown of Miami Beach with its award-winning Ibiza residency. It brings together two of the most famous places in dance music into a single, transcontinental movement.
Few brands, if any, have been able to build such a strong, consistent club presence across multiple countries, which makes RESISTANCE a leader in its own right. RESISTANCE changes the way basement clubbing is done by combining two of the world’s most famous nightlife spots under one innovative brand.

Be a part of this important and groundbreaking time in music history. You can buy €50 early bird tickets for all nights at resistanceibiza.com, and stay tuned for more news about the programming.

Hannes Bieger‘s new record, Galaxies, was made during a time of change. The skilled producer has used his experience to create a wonderful collection of music. In this new album, Hannes takes the listener on a journey through space with nine powerful beats. Galaxies captures the wonder and mystery of the space beyond our small world. In addition to his amazing solo work, Hannes also collaborates with two vocalists, FEY and Walead, on the record.
Black Hole
Based on Hannes’ experience as a live performer, engineer, and producer, Galaxies has been arranged thoughtfully, starting with slower, rhythmic tracks and gradually moving to more intense songs at the end. It also includes his popular song ‘Black Hole‘, which is important to his career because it inspired his label Elektrons, where Galaxies is being released.
The record was created a few years after Hannes started using a new studio. After struggling with a lack of creativity and not knowing how to approach his music, he wrote most of the record at the start of 2023. By then, he had adjusted to his new environment and felt confident enough to express himself freely. He is making music without any specific goals, free from the pressure of choosing a genre, in a place that feels like the best workspace he has ever had. The right elements for imagination to thrive and for new ideas to develop.
During this time, ‘Black Hole‘ became an important moment for Hannes. The track received a great reaction every time he played it and gained a lot of attention on his social media. This led to the start of his own label, Elektrons, and helped define Hannes’ style, which combines melodic sounds with stronger rhythms. ‘Black Hole’ is joined by eight other productions on Galaxies, each one symbolic of the album’s theme.
Like many people, Hannes is curious about our existence and the world beyond Earth. Galaxies relate to important questions in science, especially the question, “What connects everything in the universe?” For Hannes, it’s not about matter or antimatter; it’s the human experience and, ultimately, love that connects us all.
This is especially important for the main song, ‘Hawa.’ The title means “Love,” and Walead’s moving words celebrate the strong influence of love. In this strong song, Hannes mixes energetic drum beats with an exciting tune. Moroccan singer Walead’s voice adds a lot of feeling to this song. His Sufi background and distinct style are important parts of this well-made electronic music piece.
The rest of the record also shows this theme and Hannes’ skill in mixing the lively sounds of techno with the emotional beats of melody. The first track, ‘Apollo,’ gives us a calming journey through the stars and beyond. “Meteor” uses captivating synth sounds that make you feel like you’re traveling through space. Calm but powerful, it perfectly captures the feeling of a space journey. “Stardust” lives up to its name, with FEY’s singing adding strong feelings to the lively music, creating a happy vibe. The Icelandic singer has a gentle, beautiful voice that gives the song a magical feel. The final song, “Voyager,” creates a thoughtful mood with its serious tone. Where are we headed? What happens next? Questions to think about as Hannes’s beautiful music plays steadily and thoughtfully.
Hannes creates music that is always easy to dance to and full of feeling. His carefully made tracks take us to an exciting world full of mysteries and the unknown.

Matt Faulk, who lives in Las Vegas, is becoming well-known in the dance world for mixing elements of both underground and mainstream dance styles. The popular Los Angeles singer and musician Dances has teamed up to create the catchy club song “WHOA!” The bold title captures the lively feel of the song, which blends strong bass from house music with the fun rhythm of tech house. This powerful house track is perfect for a fun night out. Dances’ gritty and bold lyrics add a strong vibe, combined with unique synth sounds, deep bass, swirling tones, and sharp beats. “WHOA!” is a catchy and exciting club song that is sure to be a big hit this year.
Matt Faulk explains that “‘WHOA!‘ captures the excitement of a wild night out in a song:
Veteran producer REBRN brings us an upbeat track called “Faith.” Built upon a beguiling charm, the track is a hypnotic heater. Lowered voice tones create a dreamy atmosphere and lead listeners through an enchanting experience. The track features ’80s-style synthesizers that create a nostalgic feel, supported by a modern sound. The strong bass beats combine with sharp claps and heavy kicks, creating a rhythm that makes you want to nod your head. “Faith” expertly builds and releases stress, making it an exciting tech house track.
REBRN shares that “‘Faith’ is a great song to play on the dancefloor to energize the crowd.”
Dutch producer Gissa releases his first track on his label called “Keep It Real,” which is powered by funk. The music is powered by organic basslines, while soulful sounds give it a unique touch and a fun, classic vibe. The voices glide over the smooth beats, giving the classic synths the spotlight. Smooth movement, well-placed sounds, and a classic style come together to create the track.
RELOVA is a DJ and producer team from Dortmund, Germany, making a name for themselves in Europe and beyond. They invite fans to dance with their catchy song, “All Night Long.” Soft voices blend in with smooth rhythms that keep the mood steady right from the start. The catchy lyrics stick in your mind right away. The warm sounds of horns create a rich atmosphere, while soft guitar melodies bring a feeling of summer. The smooth bass and changing rhythms create a fun atmosphere with a tech house style that makes the music even more exciting.
RELOVA sets the scene for the record:
“Face Off” by Australian producer Naz has a darker vibe. This upbeat song fits well in a warehouse party or while speeding through a quiet, empty city. Atmospheric pads provide a movie-like background, which is layered with strong basslines, amazing synth sounds, and fast-paced drum beats. “Face Off” is an exciting movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Naz explains that for “Face Off,” he wanted to create a track with more energy and intensity than his normal style. He aimed for a song that would be great for dancing, with a strong beat and a powerful drop. ù2I want something I can listen to in the car that makes me feel like I’m on a mission in ‘GTA.’ And finally, something my dog would like and be happy about.”
Dan Be‘s “EfEm” is a versatile piece of music that changes its style and feel. The song starts with fun beats that encourage listeners to relax and enjoy as beautiful melodies flow smoothly. Just when it looks like we can guess what will happen next, Dan surprises us with a robotic, synth-like sound that gives a surprising texture to the music. “EfEm” shifts between beautiful moments and rough club beats, creating a constantly changing mix that keeps the rhythm going.
Ben Arsenal, Katerina Sky, and Danielinha‘s song “JOIA” connect feelings and strong emotions. The Portuguese singing adds a special charm that is made even better by the intense style and soft tones. Progressive house music combines catchy melodies with strong bass and diverse drums, creating a unique sound. The beautiful guitar melodies and soothing sounds make listeners feel good, taking them to a joyful place.
Ben Arsenal reveals that “‘JOIA‘ is a catchy progressive house song with beautiful vocals by D Medes, sung completely in Portuguese. The song has warm and passionate words that are meant for her beloved. Its special sound combines gentle tunes with strong beats, creating a mix of softness and energy. The track has global rhythms that create an energetic feel, while rich synth sounds create a captivating melody. “JOIA” is great for both romantic times and lively dance parties. It is a musical journey about love and connection that everyone can feel, no matter what language they speak.
Fenik offers listeners their new “Obsession” via his mesmerizing floor-filler. The drums create a tense beat, layered over haunting sounds and captivating voice chants. Pounding fourth-on-the-floor kicks drive the drops alongside vast low-end and relentless hi-hats—the namesake voices cut through the mix and echo throughout, creating a maddening yet addictive edge. The midway break provides a short pause that gets more intense before leading into the exciting end of the dancefloor.
Fenik explains that the song is designed to create a cool atmosphere for dancing and to help you discover something new to love while out at night.
B/AN/K dives into a strong vibe with “Frequency,” perfect for late-night listening. The track features a catchy acid sound that drives it forward with a fun, exciting rhythm. The basic “Frequency” voices repeat, fitting perfectly into the rhythm. Powerful drums, strong bass, and exciting synth rhythms come together to create a lively rhythm.
Breaking down the motivation behind the release, B/AN/K states:
Swiss artist and DJ ALAY wraps up the effort with the uplifting song “Take Me.” The track creates a fun experience that brings people into a world of happiness. The singing is relaxing and peaceful, creating a meditative mood that feels special. The moving sounds work well with the beats and bass, creating a mix that feels both exciting and relaxing. “Take Me” combines a happy vibe with a laid-back feel. It’s a song about enjoying the moment and letting music help you relax and be present.
ALAY highlights the significance of the song, stating, “This song comes from a personal desire to focus on a more positive outlook.” “Take Me” is about moving on from the past, not worrying too much about the future, and focusing on the present. The upbeat music and cheerful tunes are designed to make people want to dance, smile, and enjoy themselves.
‘Rotate Volume 14‘ is a collection of 10 tracks featuring great house and techno music, showcasing the unique styles of talented artists in the industry.
