San Holo drops Existential Remix of Skrillex, Fred again.., & Flowdan’s “Rumble”

San Holo has become a master of his craft, weaving a creative and wholly unique sound to himself that has resulted in a very specific vibe. Even as he takes on Skrillex, Fred again.., and Flowdan’s “Rumble,” a very heavy and club-centric track, his interpretation gives all the feels.
The oscillation in the main synth is definitely one of the more beautiful things that San has ever created, especially as it contrasts with the original heavier tone.

Alan Walker Drops His First Single of the Year, “Dreamer”

Alan Walker is back with his first track of 2023, “Dreamer,” a soaring, melodic progressive house instrumental that is sure to delight fans. In fact, “Dreamer” is in direct response to a Twitter poll the Norwegian producer/DJ recently posted asking “Should we take it back to the beginning?” Over 90% responded Yes. Now, thanks to that Twitter poll, we get an instant classic Alan Walker song that is sure to be a smash in his sets.

The accompanying music video features Walker on a Zoom call with a group of lucky Walkers that he premiered the song for. “Dreamer” is out now in collaboration with NCS (NoCopyrightSounds), the platform and community through which Alan Walker originally began his career and rose to popularity.
On top of the release of “Dreamer,” Walker just announced his upcoming residency at Zouk Las Vegas. His first scheduled performance will be May 20 during EDC Weekend.

Habstrakt Talks His Latest Album, His Personal Journey and All Things ‘Heritage’ [Interview]

“I’m both excited and nervous and I haven’t felt like that for a project of mine in a long time.”
We recently reviewed the debut album from French producer/DJ Habstrakt, Heritage, here at Your EDM. The masterful and versatile work is clearly an early front runner for best albums of the year. We recently got the chance to sit down with Habstrakt, real name Adam Jouneau, for an extended interview. We went in depth into several topics from the production of Heritage, his journey from the villages of South France to world-class DJ/producer, French producer group chat, and the future of Habstrakt.
As Adam and I each logged onto Zoom and starting chatting, Adam pointed out to me his insane studio setup. A true tech whiz, I was stunned by the massive modulator behind him. If you’ve ever seen Justice live, it was like a smaller version of that. Here’s our full interview.
“That’s my big modulus synthesizer, that’s the system that I use to start most of my songs now. So, you’ve got a bunch of drum machines, synthesizers, effects, modulation, granular synths, there’s so much going on over there. It’s basically a big box where you can make an entire song from start to scratch. The synchronizer’s there so I just have to hit the big play button over there and something will start.”
Thanks, so much Adam, we appreciate you joining us. We’re really looking forward to the album. Tell us a little bit about yourself, how you originally got into music and what’s led us here to the precipice of the album release?
“Wow, it’s hard to answer that without going into very long, long stories. But, my name is Adam, I’m from the south of France, I’ve been making music sort of like my whole life. Music has always been something I’ve done, you know, I started when I was like 5-6 years old with guitar and synthesizers and everything. When I was a kid I would do a lot of circuit bending, messing around with the speakers, taking apart my dad’s radio and putting it back together to see if it still works, you know. I’ve always been kind of like that, so I can’t even really remember how I got into music, it’s just something that has always been with me.
Moving forward to 2017, I moved to Los Angeles where I decided to get serious with it. I think music had picked up for me, since the early 2010s, I was starting to play shows a lot, local shows in Europe and everything. And, then things got picked up in America for me, and that’s when things got really serious. I moved here and I decided to go full-time on the project, expend all of my energy and motivation into this. And here we are now, you know, a few years later, I felt finally ready for an album. I’ve always felt that was the next chapter of my life. And, I feel like everything I’ve done then, it kind of led me to this point today, where I’m sitting.”
Tell me what was the move like coming from Europe over to the States. What’s different, what’s similar, what adjustments did you have to make?
“A lot of things are different for me, I left all of my family and friends to come here, I had to kind of rebuild my whole life. I was 27 years old, so all of my friends I left behind, all of my family I left behind; I have three sisters, nephews, nieces and I’m very close to my family and I had to leave all that behind. So, the first change was definitely to learn to do, to get all that motivation, and feel those days being by myself here. America’s a vast place, there’s so many different parts of the country, and it’s really hard to define American culture. You can’t just use Los Angeles as an example, there’s so many cities and states, it’s really like 50 countries packed together.
The move I would say was a little overwhelming, and it was kind of tough for the first couple of years. I’m just really glad that I had the motivation, and I was really determined to keep working and to hustle. So, a lot of those moments where I was on my own, I put that energy and those emotions into music. So, that’s why I say that music’s always been there for me, and I’ll always try my best to be here for music in exchange.
Yeah, I feel like I’ve been blessed, I moved to America and I knew some people already and I was already respected by some people. And respect is an important thing to me, more than success or ambition or anything like that. So, a lot of doors would open easily for me, which was a big blessing. So, I had a very lucky experience, although sometimes a little lonely.”
Tell us what’s a day in the life like for you? What’s your daily routine and how do you get in the process of making a song?
“To answer, I’ll talk more about these days, because the place that I’m in right now, I’ve been in for a year-and-a-half. So, the place has kind of changed my whole routine, my whole setup. So, over here, I tend to wake up and either hit the gym or have some breakfast, one or the other first. Getting my day started, I go upstairs…I usually just work on music all day to be honest, sometimes I have lunch with my girlfriend, otherwise I’ll just keep launching throughout the entire day. The creative process is that I wouldn’t even touch a computer unless it’s for email, just work on the equipment behind, kind of stay away from the screen, you know. And kind of try and get the juices flowing, just listen to myself, like, what’s the mood today? What do I want to do?
And, I feel like the more I start my day by being on social media too much, being on the business side of the emails, I get lost a little bit, even a little anxious, as well. So, the normal day for me starts with a lot of self-care, like I said, working out, making myself a good breakfast, kind of cleaning up, making sure the living space is good, and that has an effect on the mental space. I go upstairs and work on the mental space and kind of decide what’s going to be the flow for the day…But, most of my days are spent at home, I don’t’ go out too much, I’ve really built myself a safe space here for me to evolve and be creative. It’s got everything that I need to take care of myself and to make sure that I’m always feeling good. That’s what I wanted to try to build for myself, so, a lot of my days are spent here in this little paradise that I built for me.
I feel like with Covid, a lot of people had the chance to start working from home, and I feel like a lot of people realized that home can be something other than just a bed and a place you go after work. I’ve seen that around me for a lot of my friends who don’t necessarily work in music, but what it feels like is they started to work from home and they realized, wow, I can improve my home to really make it a really cozy, like, safe space. I really like this trend now, that people are into decorating, and seeking comfort and seeking safety. Staying at home is not seen as a bad thing anymore.”
Tell us about any upcoming touring, are you going to be on the festival circuit this upcoming spring and summer?
“Yeah, so there’s a lot that I can’t really tell you about. I want to keep a few surprises. Right now I’m in the middle of the album tour, which I just did my first weekend in the US with Philadelphia and Minneapolis, which was incredible. The first leg of the album tour was in Europe, so in the last 20 days, I did about six or seven shows, which was huge to me. Being a French artist and moving to the US in 2017, I had so much work to focus on what was going on here, but, it was really healthy for me to play shows back in France. And, then Covid happened and everything, and you haven’t played a show in your own country in like 3-4 years.
So, it’s really hard to both communicate with the French crowd and the American crowd. Especially with the languages, the time zones, the culture’s different, the music they wanted is different. So, I had a lot of struggles with those two, back and forth. And, I feel like the shows I did the first week were incredible, the shows were sold out, packed, the energy was crazy, people knew the songs. And, it was such a crazy feeling to me to go back home and see people reacting that well to music. Realizing that all this time I was here, they were there, they actually kept listening to everything, they kept paying attention to everything I was doing. They stayed, they were true fans, and seeing that much support was incredible. So that was a great motivation to start the tour.
I feel so motivated, so inspired right now. I’m about to embark on so many shows, tomorrow I’m going to Hawaii. It was my birthday two days ago, so I’m thinking just a few days there to chill. I talk a lot about self care, wherever you can take a day off. So, a lot of the tour’s going to be like that, a lot of shows across North America until May and June. And then there’s a lot of stuff, I wish I could tell you. It’ll be my first time in South Korea in June which I’m looking forward to. I have another b2b with Joyryde, that’s in the books as well. We had a b2b in September and it was one of the most fun shows we’ve ever played, so we’ve been trying to play more b2bs…
And, then I’m working on a possible live show. I’m still working on the whole concept, but I’m trying to bring what you see behind me, the whole module and a real life interaction. And me, being a control freak, I kind of have to refrain from being like I want to control everything. Because, at first, my whole concept was me controlling the lights, the visuals, the smoke machine, and writing the music in real time in front of people, then I realized I don’t have six hands. Right now I’m in the conceptual phase of it, where I’m writing the schematic of what I want to do. I’m trying to foolproof the system, while debugging all the errors possible, anticipate all the errors possible. I’m in a pretty intense phase of R & D. I want to switch out from DJing; I love DJing, but I want to do a little more on stage. I’m having so much fun making this music in real time, I want to make this music on stage.”
Going back to France, there’s been a ton of French guys doing really well here in the United States, you’ve got the collab with Malaa that you just released. Tell us a little bit about that scene, give us an inside look, is there like a friendly competition going on?
“It’s really, really hard to describe the pride of being French, especially when you have such talented people in the present, but also in the past. You know, we all grew up with the same idols, Daft Punk, Justice, Vitalic, Etienne de Crecy. We all have those legends from the 90s that really pioneered the electronic music sound. At the same time for us growing up, you quickly realized that these were all a bunch of kids from one neighborhood in Paris and they were a very close circle. You wouldn’t be able to just show up and become friends with Justice at that time. The scene back then was a little private, a little closed.
So, a lot of us, like me, grew up in little towns in villages in the south and in the north, away from the capital. And I think the new generation, with the help of the internet and social media, we had the chance to be a lot more communicative with each other. Don’t take this the wrong way when I say that those guys were in a bubble, that was the era they were in. There was no social media, so, those guys, geographically if you were close you could be in that circle, if you weren’t there it was really hard to be a part of it…
So, we all communicate with each other, every French producer, from like the biggest, like DJ Snake, to the smallest, like this new kid on the block that just made a song that we all like. We all talk to each other, we all send each other music, we have a group chat with over a hundred people on Twitter. It goes beyond the scope of house music, right? So we have like dubstep and drum & bass too. So, the principle of the group chat, something I created like five years ago, it’s kind of like Fight Club, there’s rules. Rule number one, once you’re added to the group chat, you have to send your music. Rule number two, you have to share unreleased music. So, we’ll all share exclusive music with each other, we’ll give feedback to each other.
So, France is a small scene at the end of the day, we all know each other really well, we all help each other. We’re based on family values and respect, respect is very important to us. It’s something you give and something you hope to receive as well. We’re very blessed right now to have people like Snake, Tchami, Malaa, the leaders of the new wave French sound…we have this really small community, while at the same time being extremely critical. I think that’s where the French quality comes from, kind of a tough love, we’re really very critical and push ourselves very hard, to always strive to be better and always make progress.”
Tell us a little about the stuff you do outside of music, I’ve heard you’re quite a cook.
“I think a lot of people embellish me being a cook, just because I’m French and it’s very romantic. I personally think my girlfriend cooks way better than me and she’s from Sacramento. No, I do like to cook, I worked in restaurants for a very long time. I started working when I was 15 years old to put food on the table for myself and my family and everything, so I had to do a lot of jobs. So, I started doing construction sites during the day, restaurants during the night. I started by washing the dishes and then making my way up the ladder. So, I’ve had the chance to learn a lot of things without having to go through academy training for it. I’ve learned a lot about how a kitchen works, about how restaurants in general operate.
And, I kept that with me, in terms of the cooking mostly. So, there’s a lot of really traditional dishes I like to do. My mom is such a great cook, and she made us a bunch of the family recipe. So I have a lot of traditional recipes, like from my great-great-grandma, that I like to do, so cooking is a very important thing for me. The rest of the time, I’m a huge cinema fan, I love movies, I love soundtracks a lot, which is something you kind of hear in my music at times. So, you know, movies and art in general…there’s a place in LA we like called Alamo Drafthouse; you can actually eat while you’re watching a movie, combines two of my favorite things. I’m pretty simple, you know, I like to climb, I like to do workouts, I like to hike, and I like to spend time with my cats watching movies.”
What was your favorite most recent movie?
“Right now it’s a TV show I’m obsessed with, the first thing that comes to mind is a show called ‘Severance.’ Absolutely incredible, I’m a huge fan of science fiction, dystopian, hellscape. It has just completely occupied my whole mindspace. I don’t want to spoil anything, I can only recommend it. Movie, ‘The Menu’ was a good one.
Any words for the fans?
“I just want to give a big shout out to everyone that was involved in the making of this album, everyone that stayed by my side when I was sweating, crying, bleeding the whole last year making this. It’s been a really long year, I’m proud of myself for sticking it out and doing it and I’m especially happy and blessed to have the support of the fans and my friends, and to see everyone stay. I’m very excited to put the album out so I just hope people are going to enjoy it and are excited for what’s going to come next, because I’m already working on it.”

Skrillex might be dropping a 3rd album this year

Skrillex has been traveling a bunch since the release of his two albums earlier this year. This past week he’s found himself in Brasil, and on Friday performed a free pop up show with Amsterdam-born Punjabi DJ Jyoty Singh.

At one point in the show, Jyoty hops on the mic to tell the crowd, “We’ve been here working on a new Skrillex album.”

Jyoty later confirmed this on Twitter, saying, “Oh yeah, did I mention that that’s what I’m doing? heheheh.”
Earlier this year, Skrillex released two albums, Quest For Fire and Don’t Get Too Close, each representing their own side of his eclectic production styles.
To potentially get a third album this year, with potentially more Latin roots if they’ve been doing some production in South America, would really just be icing on the cake at this point.

Isaiah Brown Reveals Fascinating Music Video To Hit Single “Please Be The One”

GunFight’s New Single “Ride” Is A Thrilling And Heavy Sonic Journey

Following explosive singles such as “Salvo” and “Decennary,” rising trailblazer GunFight has just created bass music heaven with “Ride.”
Currently based in Los Angeles and hailing from Austin, Texas, GunFight has been cementing himself as one of bass music’s most exciting up-and-comers over the past years, methodically unveiling single after single while capturing the attention of various industry professionals, as well as an ever-growing and engaged fanbase.

David Guetta releases his next ’90s remake with Anne-Marie & Coi Leray, “Baby Don’t Hurt Me”

David Guetta traveled back to the ’90s last year with “I’m Good (Blue)” with Bebe Rexha, quickly becoming the #1 dance song in multiple territories and already approaching 1bn plays on Spotify. (It has 854m at time of publishing.)
A few weekends ago at Ultra Music Festival, he brought Coi Leray out on the main stage to premiere their new collaboration with Anne-Marie remaking yet another ’90s dance classic, “What Is Love” by Haddaway.

A quick look in the replies and quote retweets to the tweet above show not a lot of support for the single. However, it’s hard to deny that the track does have an insanely catchy quality to it and retains a lot of the original melody, something a lot of other remakes and covers in this realm don’t really try to do. Whether you consider that laziness or praise is in the eye of the beholder.

So, Insomniac trademarked PLUR. Why it’s not that big a deal

Yesterday, EDM Twitter discovered that Insomniac Events had placed an application to trademark PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect).
“This made many people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.”

There’s already a change.org petition to ensure PLUR remains “public domain.”
“Due to the widespread use of PLUR, there there should be no legal ownership or trademark associated with it,” the petition reads. “However, some individuals and companies have attempted to claim ownership of the term, which can limit its usage and prevent others from promoting its message.”
A quick refresher on what a trademark is from the United States Patent and Trademark Office: “A trademark can be any word, phrase, symbol, design, or a combination of these things that identifies your goods or services.”
It continues, “A common misconception is that having a trademark means you legally own a particular word or phrase and can prevent others from using it. However, you don’t have rights to the word or phrase in general, only to how that word or phrase is used with your specific goods or services.”
In the original tweet, the word PLUR is depicted in a very specific font and style. It is the combination of the word, that particular font, that particular style, for a particular good or service that is being trademarked, nothing else.
Grant Gilmore, founder and editor-in-chief at EDM Identity, shed some more light on the situation as well, highlighting that PLUR has been trademarked numerous times already and in many different use cases. Insomniac placing a trademark on a specific use of the word in a specific font for a specific purpose does not remove the word from public domain, nor does it mean that Insomniac “owns” the word.

If you need any more reason to not go after Insomniac for this, Frankie Bones himself, the de facto creator of PLUR, gave Insomniac his blessing. “Pasquale Rotella is the absolute one and only person alive on the planet today who has done more for rave culture [than] anyone else,” he said. “So I gave my blessing.”

Moral of the story? It’s not the end of the world, nor the end of PLUR.

Rich Delinquent Teams Up With Benny Mayne For Vindictive Single, “XOXO”

There’s not many producers who can do what Rich Delinquent does – writing, producing, and singing every single track. Rich Delinquent shares that it’s “all about heartbreak and vengeance”. He lays the groundwork with entrancing melodies, crisp hip hop drum patterns, and an eerie organ chord progression that sets the tone for this vindictive track. Both Rich & Benny each provide invigorating vocal performances that showcases just how dynamic of a team they make.

BLUUR Releases Thundering Bass Single, “No Warning”

Yesterday, Excision, Wooli, and The Devil Wears Prada revealed they had a collaboration coming. As it turns out, that collaboration, “Reasons,” is out today.
The Devil Wears Prada said of the song, “When Excision and Wooli approached us about working together on a song, we were so stoked for the opportunity to dive into uncharted territory for The Devil Wears Prada. It was fun injecting the lyrical and musical flavors from [the 2022 album] Color Decay onto an EDM track, and the emotional and aggressive nature of our sound fit perfectly with their mastery of modern bass music.”

Talking Back-to-Backs and Full-Circle Moments with Nicole Moudaber [Interview]

Techno is in a peculiar place at the moment. A genre that was once side-barred for smaller stages at music festivals or 3 am after parties has slowly crept into the mainstream EDM space. It’s presence in classic headliners of the dance music space sharing their own main-stage adaptations of the genre to having trendsetters in the techno landscape actually headline main stages.
But none of this would be possible without the artists that strived and thrived in techno and keeping these after parties and music festival stocked. One such artist in this space is Nicole Moudaber. Born in Nigeria, raised between Beirut and London, Moudaber is one of the most successful artists in the space. Her entry way into her career was promoting and hosting dance parties in Lebanon in the 1990s. With each successful year, she became drawn to the music and began to DJ some of the events herself. Eventually, she added record producer into her resume and laid the foundation of her artistry.
Today, Moudaber hosts In The Mood Radio which has been on the air since 2014. She regularly tours around the world headlining stages with a fiercely devoted fanbase. She also continues to drop new music with her latest track “Intentionally” dropping last month with a remix from none other than Carl Cox. At Ultra Music Festival in Miami, we had a chance to sit down and talk with Nicole Moudaber about her recent successes, a look into her past, and a surprise new project that she’s working on currently.
On my way here, I was listening to your latest episode of In The Mood Radio where you talked about your takeover at Ultra Music Festival where you’re headlining one of the stages and you’ve curated each of the artists here. What’s it like to have that kind of spotlight?
Moudaber: It feels amazing and really flattered that Ultra asked me to curate my own stage this year. I handpicked all of my guests which was an incredible process creatively, artistically, and musically. I opened the stage today because our warm-up DJ couldn’t make it. So I thought [to myself], “Let me open up the stage and open for all my guests and get everybody early.” And that’s exactly what happened. I was really pleased with that.
Considering your history of throwing parties at the start of your career in Beirut, curating lineups and eventually taking the stage as an artist yourself, is that like a full-circle moment for you?
Moudaber: I can’t believe you said “full-circle”! That’s the name of my book that I’m writing at the moment.
Really? Tell us a little bit more about your book. What can fans expect to read?
Moudaber: So there’s a part of me that people don’t know and I thought I would share it. It’s been a cathartic moment writing this book, going back in time and discovering who I am and what made me what I am today. I hope that it’s going to inspire people out there. 

As a record producer and stage curator, have you found writing to be difficult or have you found the writing process to be a new kind of ease?
Moudaber: Very difficult because I’m not the “outgoing” kind of person. I’m more of an introvert. Writing about myself is very difficult. For some reason there are some events in the past that I have blocked out of my thoughts. So I need to ask my friends and family, “Hey, what happened then? Just jog my memory.” Some people probably block the hard times maybe? Let’s put it this way… It’s an interesting process. As for the stage, curating it and programming this night, it’s what I do best because I’ve been doing it for many years. I actually really enjoy putting a lineup together. So that for me was a beautiful experience. 
I think it’s fair to say that it’s a reflection of the monument that is your work. In keeping with this “full-circle” theme, you recently released a new single called “Intentionally” that was also released with a remix from a mentor of yours Carl Cox. I read and listened to some of your interviews that he was a big part of how you not only became a DJ and producer but do so at that level. You also recently collaborated together on a track. What’s it like to transition from that mentor-mentee dynamic to one of peers?
Moudaber: It feels amazing. I feel acknowledged by all my peers. It feels like a stamp of approval of my work and my achievements in my career. Carl and I are great friends and we’re actually going to close out Kappa FuturFestival in Torino, Italy on July 2nd with a back-to-back again. We have a lot in common. We love cars. We love bikes. And we love music.

Speaking of peers, your co-headliner tonight is Chris Liebing. You two have done several back-to-back sets together and even on your radio show, you mentioned how he is on another level and it feels like sometimes you can’t tell which one is playing one track and who is transitioning into the other because of how on-the-same-page the two of you are. For you, what is it about Liebing that separates him from the rest of the scene?
Moudaber: It’s the genre of music that happens to be what I play and what I feel the most. This is why I enjoy playing with him a lot because it’s really seamless what we do. Like I said on the show, we really wonder who’s playing what. It is that confusing because we really are that similar. And that’s why I invited him to play today.
To put a bow on this delightful conversation, I want to mention how you really have seen all sides of the music industry. What is some advice that you would give for the future DJs and anyone interested in getting involved in the this industry?
Moudaber: I would tell them to perfect their skill, to have the knowledge of the music, and not to be taken by social media and all the shallowness of it all. If you want to be an artist, you have to really live and breathe music everyday while finding your sound. Be inspired, but don’t copy anybody because you can’t really copy everything. Everyone is unique. What you need to do is to find your own unique sound and perfect it. That’s how you will shine.

ZHU puts his spin on Genesis Owusu, “Get Inspired” [WATCH]

Genesis Owusu continues to be one of Australia’s most in-demand exports. Last week, he released a new remix by ZHU of his hit 2022 single, “Get Inspired,” which features a menacing and poetic punk hybridity and an infectious falsetto breakdown.
“Zhu wanting to remix ‘Get Inspired’ was a pretty crazy thing to hear,” notes Owusu. “He really came through to twist it into a grimy club track, and even came to spit some bars of his own.”

Martin Garrix & Maejor release AREA21 album “Live on Planet Earth”

AREA21, the duo comprising Martin Garrix and Maejor, have released their first-ever full live performance, Live on Planet Earth on Hulu in the U.S., Star+ in Latin America, and Disney+ under the Star banner in all other territories today. Daft Punk explains why they broke up

We’re quickly approaching the release of Random Access Memories 10th Anniversary Edition on the heels of the two-year anniversary of Daft Punk officially breaking up. Thomas Bangalter has a solo album coming out this Friday, Mythologies, his debut solo orchestral album. Ahead of the release, he spoke with BBC and explained why exactly Daft Punk officially decided to break up.
“[Daft Punk] was an exploration, I would say, starting with the machines and going away from them. I love technology as a tool [but] I’m somehow terrified of the nature of the relationship between the machines and ourselves,” Bangalter explained.
“We tried to use these machines to express something extremely moving that a machine cannot feel, but a human can. We were always on the side of humanity and not on the side of technology,” he added.

With the advent of more popularized AI and algorithmic technologies, Thomas and Guy-Manuel chose to retain their more human sides.
On the new album, he explained, “Daft Punk was a project that blurred the line between reality and fiction with these robot characters. It was a very important point for me and [co-founder] Guy-Man[uel] to not spoil the narrative while it was happening. Now the story has ended, it felt interesting to reveal part of the creative process that is very much human-based and not algorithmic of any sort.”

Crab Rave gets its own video game 5 years later

When Noisestorm released “Crab Rave” with Monstercat for April Fool’s Day five years ago, no one thought that it would become such an integral part of meme culture. Thousands of memes are created every day, some intentional and some with wanton abandon — “Crab Rave” seems to be in the latter group. It’s a silly video of crabs dancing at the end of the day.
But, somehow, it caught on.
Now, five years to the day later, Noisestorm himself has created his own video game called “Crab Champions.”

Pretty Lights is back! Announces 9-date comeback tour

We’ve heard rumblings. We’ve heard rumors. Today, Pretty Lights is officially back and has announced a 9-date comeback tour in Denver, Lake Dillon, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Chicago, The Caverns, San Francisco, and New Orleans.
It’s been nine years since the last Pretty Lights album, and six years since the last music he’s released at all. Fans have been clamoring for his return ever since, though still giving him the space to heal and come back in his own time.
