In Rezz's universe, where soundscapes seamlessly transform into both vivid dreams and nightmares alike, her latest offering serves as a phantasmagorical voyage that invites us into the depths of her otherworldly imagination.
Her first album since 2021's Spiral, CAN YOU SEE ME? cements Rezz's position as a master architect of supernatural sounds, drawing fans into a realm where the spine-chilling and the bass-forward once again converge.
Out now on Rezz's own HypnoVizion Records, the album distinguishes itself as arguably her most collaborative endeavor to date, featuring a formidable roster of producers, including Subtronics, INZO, Holly and Blanke. Each track stands as a testament to her unique ability to meld her distinctive sound with the creative energies of her contemporaries, creating an album that is as varied as it is innovative.
Rezz's new album "CAN YOU SEE ME?" is out now on HypnoVizion.Rukes
From the opening echoes of the titular track, CAN YOU SEE ME? grabs listeners by the psyche, forging a cadence of deep basslines that erupt unexpectedly into a chaotic blitz, peppered with whispers that tickle the fringes of the sonic spectrum. As if opening a doorway to the unknown, the track ensures eyes are wide from the outset. Venturing deeper, "The Descent" (with INZO) rockets into a dubstep inferno where wobbling basses slither through the ether, painting a soundscape that feels both alien and intimately familiar for longtime fans.
Elsewhere, Rezz and Holly thread an uncanny melody through a labyrinth of heavy distortion in the haunting embrace of "Dysphoria," resulting in a composition that continues to keep listeners on the edge. The journey culminates with the Kavari-assisted "Exorcism," escalating the experience to a zenith of distorted intensity with mangled growls and void-like synths seemingly mirroring the gravitational pull of a black hole.
Taking to social media, Rezz candidly wrote that CAN YOU SEE ME? stands up as her favorite album of her career, a sentiment that will undoubtedly resonate with diehards. The album is a surefire hit for those who have come to appreciate the producer's intricate attention to sound design and her ability to leave them with an eerie but lasting impression long after the goosebumps have subsided.
Take a listen to the new album below and find it on streaming platforms here.

From March 20 – 21, Afterlife will return to Miami Music Week for an entrancing, two-night affair at Miami Marine Stadium. The event’s opening evening features a slate of A-list melodic techno talent, including event founders, Tale Of Us, CamelPhat, Mathame, Adam Sellouk, and Anyma (for “Anyma presents Genesys”). The latter is timely, considering the producer’s recent announcement of Genesys Part II. Due March 29, this second installment succeeds Genesys, released in August of 2023. Anyma’s Miami Music Week appearance will be followed by sets at Coachella 2024.
The second and final day of the Afterlife festivities concludes with sets from Tale Of Us, Adriatique, Mind Against, Layla Benitez, and Mrak (for “Mrak presents We Don’t Follow”). While day one of Afterlife is sold-out, a limited number of tickets to day two remain available for purchase here.

Nate Mars is following up November 23’s ‘In Time’ EP with a trio of remixes and an all new original pulsing with garage and DnB. At the core of Mars’ music lies the unmistakable pulse of the TB-303, which he skillfully intertwines with an array of analog hardware, looped vocals, and a dark pop touch. For In Time, Mars decided to return to his roots, chopping classic drum breaks and incorporating rave stabs and ’90s piano riffs reminiscent of iconic artists like Moby, The Prodigy, Omni Trio, DJ Krust, and 4am Kru. And on its remix package three new interpretations build on the original EP’s strong foundation.
Liondub kicks off the remix package with a reimagined version of “In Time,” introducing a fluid drum and bass vibe that enriches the original’s essence. Tim Reaper brings his expertise to the “Starting Over” remix, underlining his knack for jungle and breakbeat hardcore. As the mind behind Future Retro London and a Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe nominee, Reaper’s remix is a masterclass in drum and breaks.
Straight out of Philadelphia, Starkey’s take on “To Kill A DJ” infuses the track with a mix of dub/reggae and UKG, bridging Nate Mars’ original vision with his own distinctive, dystopian flair. Philadelphia’s own PJ Geissinger, known as Starkey, has been lauded for his genre-defying music since 2005, with notable releases like “Open The Pod Bay Doors” on Ninja Tune.
And then there’s the cherry on top; a new one from the man himself – “Parallelogram” a testament to his adeptness and alacrity crafting blistering drum and bass.

UK’s mash-up maestros Switch Disco unite with the celebrated multi-platinum producer R3HAB, and Sam Feldt on their house-pop collaboration “Sleep Tonight (This Is The Life).” Switch Disco, following their successful collaboration with Ella Henderson on “REACT,” continues to rise in the UK scene for their inventive flair while R3HAB brings 15 years of experience crafting main stage hit after main stage hit. Feldt’s pop crossover career adds the final touch, softening the edges and placing this one firmly in radio territory.
The single breaths with each of their distinct points of view. “Sleep Tonight” blends the distinct sounds of R3HAB’s boundless production, Feldt’s penchant for pop melodies and Switch Disco’s flair for vibrant basslines and soulful vocals. A harmonious blend of all their best attributes, the collaboration strikes the perfect balance of high energy, innovation and pop hooks.

March 15th, 2024, marks the 25th anniversary of Zombie Nation‘s ‘Kernkraft 400’, a track that transcended its origins to become an iconic piece of electronic dance music history. Released in 1999, this track, with its infectious melody and unmistakable hook, has become an anthem not just in dance music, but across various cultural spectrums, including sports events and festivals worldwide.
‘Kernkraft 400’, primarily known for its stadium-chant-like hook, was a revolutionary track of its time. It melded techno with a pop sensibility that appealed to a vast audience. Created by German DJ and producer Florian Senfter, the track samples music from the 1984 Commodore 64 game ‘Lazy Jones’, transforming it into a dance floor masterpiece. The track’s simple yet effective structure, combining a pulsating rhythm with a catchy melody, made it instantly recognizable.
Over the past 25 years, ‘Kernkraft 400’ has achieved legendary status, transcending its electronic music roots to become a ubiquitous presence in sports arenas, particularly in American football and hockey games, where its chant-like breakdown ignites crowds. Its widespread popularity is a testament to its timeless appeal and Zombie Nation‘s innovative approach to music production.
The legacy of ‘Kernkraft 400’ is multifaceted. It’s not just a track that defines a genre; it’s a cultural phenomenon that has connected with millions, irrespective of their musical preferences. As we celebrate its 25th anniversary, ‘Kernkraft 400’ stands as a shining example of how a piece of music can become an integral part of popular culture, echoing through time much longer than its creators could have ever anticipated.

World’s biggest hard techno promoter Verknipt is expanding its empire with the announcement of Verknipt Records. The brand new label will be launched Friday, March 15th with the official release of Luciid’s ‘Bunker Buster’.
Hard techno’s popularity has surged in recent years, at least partly due to Verknipt’s early adoption of the sound. Ever since, Verknipt events have proven to be a hotbed for talent, launching several artists into superstardom within the genre. Now, through Verknipt Records, the brand will be able to nurture talent even more, laying the groundwork for hard techno’s next generation of idols. At the helm of Verknipt’s global operations is Mer Hajbarati, adding; “There really isn’t a label in hard techno with a platform as big as ours yet, so we’ll be able to add huge value to the artists we sign to Verknipt Records. Launching this record label felt like the next logical step to keep moving the needle within our industry. We’ve got so much planned for the next couple of years, this is just the start of it.”
Starting with Luciid’s latest belter, Verknipt Records will be releasing a new track every three weeks well into the summer. ‘Bunker Buster’ ticks all the boxes of a guaranteed crowd pleaser, complete with distorted kicks reminiscent of the early days hardcore sound. Even before its release, the record has already made its way onto some high-profile USBs, garnering support from I Hate Models, Nico Moreno and 999999999 to name a few.
Luciid, the brains behind the very first release on Verknipt Records reiterated his excitement for the project, saying: “I am honoured to have “Bunker Buster” as the spearhead track for Verknipt’s new record label. Without a doubt this label will be groundbreaking, and it deserves a radical track to kick it off.”
Verknipt Records is a collaboration with Be Yourself Music, which has been responsible for a multitude of hugely successful releases and acts in the past. With the addition of Verknipt Records to their roster, the label officially adds hard techno to their offerings, ringing in an exciting new chapter. Dick de Groot, Be Yourself Music’s founder explains the move from their perspective: “As hard techno is one of the fastest growing genres in electronic music, setting up the Verknipt Records label together with Verknipt was a logical step for us. With our years of expertise of music exploitation and our knowledge of the harder genres in electronic music, combined with Verknipt being the biggest brand in hard techno we create a strong platform together for the music and artists who we will be releasing on the label.”
