OLING just dropped the heater we’ve been fiending for all year! The young Swedish melodic house wizard’s new single ‘Virtue‘ is finally out on Jeremy Olander‘s Vivrant label and it’s an absolute monster.
If you checked out OLING’s ‘Roots Open‘ event series at that insane ore mine location in his hometown of Falun last summer, you’ll know this track is something seriously special. ‘Virtue’ was the highlight of those parties, with the massive singalong vocals and huge uplifting melodies getting the crowd utterly amped.
Since then, all the big dogs like Digweed, Lane 8, Bäumel, and the Vivrant boss himself have been hammering this throbbing melodic beast in their record boxes. It’s been one of the most hotly anticipated IDs doing the rounds.
And now it’s officially out! ‘Virtue‘ kicks off with those emotional vocal chants riding OLING’s trademark hard-hitting drums before exploding into a drop that’s equal parts euphoric and sinister. With the warm pads, evolving harmonies, and intricate rhythmic concrete, it’s a perfect singalong raver for the summer festivals.
The release is a huge look for the incredibly talented OLING. He’s been low-key smashing it for a few years now, but ‘Virtue’ feels like his real coming-out party as one of the most exciting new producers in the melodic house scene. The future is bright!
To top it off, OLING is taking this spiritual vibe on the road supporting heavyweights like Olander, Mathame, Korolova and Cristoph across Scandinavia and the UK in the coming months. But let’s be real – ‘Virtue’ is about to become the biggest singalong at raves across the globe this summer.

Boys Noize and Rico Nasty have joined forces to release HARDC0RE DR3AMZ, a new three-track EP.
Kicking off the record is "Arintintin," a hyperactive dance track with a punk edge. Next up is "Vvgina," a techno-inspired banger with cathartic lyrics exploring heartbreak and the quest for liberation from past relationships.
Rounding out the EP is "H.O.T.," an unapologetic breakbeat and hip-hop crossover highlighted by Rico Nasty's fierce vocals. Accompanying the single track is a nostalgic music video featuring camcorder footage and plenty of Y2K fashion, like parachute pants. Check out the video below.
Rico Nasty says she connected with Boys Noize, one of the electronic music industry's most influential producers, six years ago. They found themselves in the studio and eventually performed together at the 2024 FriendShip festival.
"Fast forward again, maybe 3-4 years, and we did a couple more sessions. We kept gravitating towards techno dance music," Nasty said in a statement shared with EDM.com. "He started putting me on to German dance music, and we traded a bunch of songs back and forth. Little by little over a few days, we ended up making three more songs that we really loved and decided we wanted to share with the world. Every session was so much fun and I'm sure that energy is felt across all of these tracks. One of my favorite songs on the project is... all of them. That's why she is so short!"

Rave Is The Weapon is ESSEL and Alex Mills’ latest banger on Mark Kight‘s Toolroom Records.
Toolroom’s main lady ESSEL is back on the label with Alex Mills, another talented female powerhouse who is a DJ, producer, and singer.
ESSEL’s next song comes after her Toolroom hit “The Edge,” which has already been streamed 4 million times and played on Radio One almost 40 times.
She has gotten a lot of radio support over the past few years, which led to her being booked as a DJ at Radio One’s “Big Weekend” in May with the biggest artists in the world.

Alex Mills is also going on an amazing trip! Last year, her song “Million Dollar Bill” was a top 40 hit in the UK.
She is also a very good singer and has written songs for Camelphat, Solardo, and Ferreck Dawn. There is a different kind of energy around these two when they are in the same room. It’s clear that they are friends and want to have fun, and this comes through in a big way in the song.
It BANGS! A peak-time tech houser like ESSEL’s Beatport chart-topping songs “Sweat” and “Lennon,” with a line that will be streamed on dance floors and at events for a long time to come… “The rave is the weapon!”

Fifteen years ago, on April 1, 2009, a collaboration that would become a cornerstone in the history of electronic dance music was born. Before the official formation of Swedish House Mafia, Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello teamed up with the renowned Laidback Luke to produce ‘Leave The World Behind’, a track that remains a progressive dance music masterpiece. This collaboration, featuring the combined talents of these legendary artists, created a sound that was both innovative and timeless, resonating with audiences across the globe.
‘Leave The World Behind’ stands out for its emotive vocals and uplifting melodies, capturing the essence of progressive house music and showcasing the individual strengths of each artist. The track has become synonymous with a golden era in dance music, characterized by its blend of anthemic chords and driving beats.
Swedish House Mafia, comprised of Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello, emerged as one of the most iconic dance acts of the early 2010s. With a series of legendary dance anthems like ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, ‘Save The World’, ‘One (Your Name)’, and ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’, they made an indelible mark on the electronic music scene before their split in 2013 and subsequent return in 2018.
Laidback Luke, known for his versatility and contributions to both house and techno, has maintained a significant presence in the industry. Renowned for his talent scouting and supportive nature, he has built an impressive career, influencing the evolution of dance music and inspiring countless artists.
‘Leave The World Behind’ is a testament to the collaborative spirit and creative energy of these artists. Even though they haven’t reunited since, the track continues to be celebrated as a landmark in dance music history, a reminder of the power of collaboration in creating timeless music.

Got a fresh techno heater for you to dissolve your brain cells to. The one and only Eli Brown just dropped a new collab with fellow techno destroyer Lilly Palmer called “Gasoline” and let me tell you, this one’s an absolute rager.
I’ve been following Brown‘s releases for a while now after getting turned on to that mean “Escape” EP he put out on Insomniac’s Factory93 label back in 2021. This new “Gasoline” track landed on the same esteemed imprint, which makes total sense given how this is pretty much a turnt-up, adrenaline-fueled DJ tool primed to ignite the most rambunctious underground parties.
From the very first kick, “Gasoline” just does not let up. It’s a full-on techno assault of pummeling beats, snarling distorted basslines, and these wild rave synth arpeggios that’ll have you pulling a Gollum face on the dancefloor. And the way Brown and Palmer wield those demented vocal samples is just twisted – one minute they’re burying them under murky filters, the next they’re chopping them up into haunting lingua franca for the techno hellscape they’ve constructed.
Dudes know how to work a build too. There’s this one part where the kicks and hi-hats get vacuumed up by what sounds like a black hole voice until you’re straight up dry heaving for the droppppp…and then WHAM! Air horn cityyyyyy. Absolute primal techno tantrum designed to shatter beer bottles.
Brown’s been putting out some seriously well-rounded dance music the past few years from tech house to deep techno to downright emotional vocal collabs. But “Gasoline” sees him and Palmer fully unhinged in psycho-purebred techno mode. No pretenses, no chill vibes…just blown subs and ruptured mushroom circuits aimed squarely at the darkest, most depraved after-hour havens. Don’t sleep, get gassin’!

For electronic music producer Marsh, his latest single “Warrior” is far more than just another release. The uplifting yet goosebump-inducing progressive house track is a musical salute to his lifelong best friend Jimmy. He has been waging a courageous battle against Leukaemia since his diagnosis in 2022.
As Marsh puts pen to paper to describe the inspiration behind “Warrior”, his words transcend the dancefloor. His new song takes the listener inside the beautiful friendship that has defined his life.

Those shared experiences, spanning decades from childhood into adulthood, made Jimmy’s cancer diagnosis hit exponentially harder. Yet in the face of such adversity, Marsh watched his best friend display a resilience and fighting spirit nothing short of heroic.
The single’s aptly titled, as “Warrior” sees Marsh translating Jimmy’s unyielding spirit into a true progressive house anthem. Waves of ethereal melodies and rapturous builds conjure the emotional capacity of two friends. The record’s most powerful moment hits when the euphoric chords finally reach their peak – a fistpump-worthy salute to Jimmy’s incredible recent news of two consecutive clear cancer scans.
With “Warrior” he’s not only paid tribute to their bond through music, but doubled down on his support for the cause. He launched the record with an exclusive event in London donating all proceeds to the charity Leukaemia UK, with another livestream at Kew Gardens likewise raising funds.
As Marsh’s touring schedule ramps up and he prepares for his new “Aria” live show, “Warrior” is sure to be a set centerpiece and reminder of what’s most important – the persevering human spirit and the immeasurable power of friendship.
