This latest offering sees Spag returning to his roots, cooking up a storm of bass that’s sure to satisfy longtime devotees of his al dente audio. From the menacing opener “Revenge of the Meatballs” to the cosmic crescendo of “Sonic Beef,” each track is a carefully crafted dish in this bass music banquet.
Highlights include “R’amen,” a track that blends pseudo-religious hymns with devastating beats – a true blessing from the Flying Spaghetti Monster himself. Meanwhile, “Get ‘Em” serves as the EP’s protein-packed pump-up anthem, perfect for both the club and the gym.
Old-school fans will savor the familiar flavors of Spag’s original recipe, while bass music newbies can dive fork-first into this smorgasbord of sound. It’s a hearty helping of nostalgia mixed with fresh, forward-thinking production – truly a meal fit for the most discerning audio gourmands.
So grab your colanders and prepare your eardrums for a feast. “The Big Boil” EP is now being served on all major streaming platforms.
May your bass be strong and your noodles be ever al dente.
“It’s been a year since I released my debut album, so it is high time for a new body of work. With ‘The Noodle Effect,’ I showcased more of myself and brought a variety of styles to the table that I had not shown before. In the void that came after the release of it, I’ve taken time off to reflect on my music path and gone back to find inspiration in places where I would look in the early days of my career. Eptic, Skrillex, Knife Party, are some of the main musical influences for the spirit of ‘The Big Boil’ EP, as well as very old (unfinished) songs of myself. This EP feels like Spag Heddy 2.0, continuing where I left off but with a refined recipe.” – Spag Heddy

CYRIL burst onto the global music scene in 2023 with his breakout hit “Stumblin’ In” and a remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence,” which have collectively amassed over 400 million streams on Spotify alone. Hailing from the Australian countryside and now based in Darwin, CYRIL’s journey to success wasn’t always smooth. He overcame personal struggles, holding onto his musical dreams even when they seemed distant. His persistence paid off, and he’s now one of the hottest emerging producers in electronic music. Dean Lewis, on the other hand, is no stranger to the spotlight. With multiple platinum records under his belt, including the global smash “Be Alright,” Lewis has solidified his place as one of Australia’s premier singer-songwriters.
These two Aussie talents have joined forces for a new single called “Fall At Your Feet.” The track showcases CYRIL’s signature dreamy production style, opening with Lewis’s soulful vocals over a wistful piano. As the song progresses, it builds into a lush soundscape featuring ethereal melodies and a subtle, pulsing bassline. This collaboration bridges CYRIL’s electronic expertise with Lewis’s heartfelt songwriting, resulting in a radio-friendly dance-pop gem perfect for laid-back summer listening.
“Fall At Your Feet” is the lead single from CYRIL’s upcoming EP “From Down Under” and marks an exciting new chapter for both artists.

Jungle terror, a genre pioneered by Wiwek, is a high-energy fusion of electronic dance music that draws inspiration from tribal rhythms, primal sounds, and intense, driving beats. This unique style emerged in the early 2010s as a response to the increasingly polished and commercialized EDM scene. Jungle terror is characterized by its raw, untamed energy, often incorporating animalistic samples, tribal percussion, and unconventional sound design to create a wild, unpredictable sonic landscape.
“Remedy” exemplifies the evolution of jungle terror, showcasing Wiwek’s growth as an artist while staying true to the roots of the genre he created. The track opens with a minimal, pulsating bassline accented by distinctive whistles – a nod to the primal calls often found in jungle terror productions. As the song progresses, Wiwek masterfully layers in adrenaline-pumping rhythms, building to a crescendo that flirts with hardstyle influences. This fusion creates a sinister, high-octane experience that’s poised to ignite dancefloors throughout the summer and beyond.
The release of “Remedy” on Revealed Recordings feels like a full-circle moment for Wiwek. His last appearance on the label was in 2015 with “Chameleon,” a collaboration with Hardwell himself. Some listeners might find an ironic nostalgia in “Remedy,” as it harkens back to the rave sounds that helped establish jungle terror as a formidable force in electronic music.
Following the release of his debut album “Cycles” and the “Jungle Terror vol. 5” EP on Barong Family earlier this year, Wiwek shows no signs of slowing down. With “Remedy” and a constant stream of new music in the pipeline, 2024 is shaping up to be another landmark year for the jungle terror mastermind.

“360 Blue” reads like a who’s who of hardstyle, featuring collaborations with scene titans Zany, DJ Isaac, Sub Zero Project, and Wildstylez. The inclusion of crossover star Steve Aoki adds an intriguing twist, hinting at Showtek’s ability to bridge musical worlds. But make no mistake – this is hardstyle in its purest form, filtered through the lens of Showtek’s years of diverse production experience.
“We built a legacy in this genre,” Showtek explains, “and have a huge amount of fans worldwide that have been listening to us since day one. After taking a 12-year break from the genre, we have reignited it with new gained experience, a fresh approach, more mature but still Showtek. Melodic, anthemic, and with a message.”
Standout tracks like “Dear Hardstyle” featuring Earl St. Clair showcase this evolution, blending emotive spoken word with relentless beats. The album closer “Heaven or Hell” serves as a fitting finale, distilling the essence of modern hardstyle into an intense, memorable journey.
“360 Blue” is the second chapter in Showtek’s three-part “360” saga, following last year’s house and big room-focused “360 Yellow.” This ambitious project aims to demonstrate the duo’s genre-spanning versatility, with each album embodying a different primary color and musical style.
As Showtek gears up to celebrate this release with shows in Australia, Los Angeles, and a much-anticipated appearance at Defqon.1, “360 Blue” stands as a testament to their enduring impact on hardstyle. It’s a thrilling reminder of where they came from and a bold statement about where hardstyle can go in the hands of true innovators.

DICE’s growth trajectory is impressive, boasting over 55,000 artists and 10,000 venues on its platform across 30 cities in 2023. The company’s live events business is thriving, and they’ve just rolled out a new marketplace on their app. This innovative move is projected to boost event revenue by 30%, with DICE Extras being the first product to hit the marketplace.
In 2021, DICE raised $122 million from its Series C round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, drawing investment from notable figures like iPod inventor Tony Fadell’s Future Shape, and French entrepreneur Xavier Niel. The latest funding round in August 2023 saw the company securing $65 million, led by MUSIC, with investors like Structural Capital and Kobalt Music’s Willard Ahdritz joining in.
Phil Hutcheon, CEO and Founder of DICE “The live music industry is adopting DICE faster than ever and proves our thesis that if you treat fans well, they buy more tickets, and go out more often. We’re investing heavily in building even more technology and this year alone we released over 60 new features for fans, venues and artists,” Phil Hutcheon, CEO and Founder of DICE, said in August 2023.
The Ever-Changing Landscape of Live Events
The sale talks are reportedly attracting interest from at least three private equity firms. This development aligns with a broader resurgence in the live events sector, where deals are happening left and right. Last month, KKR bought Superstruct Entertainment for €1.3 billion, and Blackstone acquired a minority stake in Ambassador Theatre Group.
DICE has been making strategic moves, like launching Merch on DICE in 2021 for artists’ limited-run product drops and acquiring the livestreaming platform Boiler Room in October 2021. These steps solidify DICE’s position as a major player in the live events and ticketing landscape, even as they face competition from giants like Ticketmaster and CTS Eventim.
With the live events industry buzzing, DICE’s potential sale marks a significant moment in the ever-evolving music and events landscape.

In this day and age, Dance music has more traffic than ever, and that may make it difficult for a fairly new artist — or a veteran under a new name — to really take off. Well, not long ago, we stumbled upon a hotly-requested ID, a remake of a classic track. And now that it’s finally come out, we’re glad to introduce you to YERO.
A born DJ and natural disruptor, YERO is the new artist project of Greek producer Johnny Gerontakis. He’s been igniting parties in his home country for years, and now under this moniker promises to amaze crowds worldwide. And he’s already started. Earlier this year, he made his debut at Ibiza’s iconic sunset spot Café Mambo, and turned heads with his addition to this year’s Tomorrowland lineup, which, last time we checked, it’s this very weekend.
YERO’s debut single — and the one we discovered him with — is ‘Wonderful Life (Kryder’s Guilty Pleasure Mix)‘, a beautiful rendition of the 1980s original by UK band Black. His version, which features the vocals of Christian Burns, elevates the experience a couple notches by turning the positive lyrics into an Afro House masterpiece, all with the help of a Dance icon, Kryder.
And so we managed to lock in an interview with the man behind the ID, just days before his debut slot at Tomorrowland Belgium. Here’s our conversation. Read on.
Who is YERO? How would you describe your latest artist moniker?
YERO is my newly launched DJ and producer artist project for 2024 with a clear vision to get people back on the dancefloor.
How did YERO begin, how was it born? We’d love to know about that moment when the idea came to your head.
The idea was to create a very personal project where I could combine the sounds and different styles of house music that I love all and that I’ve seen connect with crowds over the years as a DJ.
I’ve DJ’d all my life so it’s a natural need for me to share the music and the vibe that I have in my head with other people, and I just felt the time for this to launch was now.
Are you a producer and you want your song featured on EDMTunes? Follow this link right here.
So, what takes us to you is your debut track, ‘Wonderful Life’, alongside Kryder and Christian Burns. So we’d like to ask, why ‘Wonderful Life’? Why rework this particular track, one that is practically a part of general music culture?
The positive message in the song’s lyrics fully matches my philosophy for music and life in general so I thought it was the perfect fit for my first release.
The fun spirit and message of gratitude in the song is something we all need to hear in the spirit of summer and festival season.
We’re absolutely aching to know, how did it feel working with Kryder?
Kryder and I have a really special relationship, we’ve known each other for many years now. Working with him is not new to me but it is always a pleasure! I think he is a top player in the worldwide music industry, and I really enjoy learning from him.
So, this track blew up and came to be one of the year’s most requested IDs. What are your thoughts on that, and why do you think such was the case?
I was very happy to see the track getting support on the dancefloor. People instantly connected to the feelings and emotions we had in mind when creating the track and the uplifting production, so how could we not share it as an official release?
You’re debuting as YERO at Tomorrowland this week. First off, congratulations! And secondly, what can attendees expect from your set? Which genres do you wish to onboard to your timeslot?
Thank you! I’m so excited for Tomorrowland. It’s the world’s biggest dance party and an honour to be a part of it. I can’t wait!
As for my set, festival-goers can expect tech and tribal rhythms, uplifting melodies, sexy vocals with groovy drops – that’s my sound all over!
What can fans expect from YERO during this second half of the year and diving a bit into early 2025?
My main focus is to release at least one track per month and also throw some special DJ shows. I recently debuted at Ibiza’s famous Café Mambo, which was another bucket list venue, so I’m excited to see what’s next.
Final Words
Thank you so much to YERO for your words. We’re super excited to hear what’s next in your catalogue, and just know that we’re vibing to ‘Wonderful Life’ on a daily basis. In fact, you readers can also vibe to it, for YERO and Kryder have figured the best way to share the positive message was to give it away as a freebie! I, like the musical equivalent of a petrolhead I am, already secured my lossless copy, and I’d suggest you do the same, by heading to this link right here.
Kryder · Yero Feat. Christian Burns – Wonderful Life (Kryder's Extended Guilty Pleasure Mix) Thanks again YERO! The man himself is playing Tomorrowland this weekend, as he’ll be tearing down the Melodia Stage on Saturday the 20th, from 18:00 to 19:30. So if you’re over there, why not pay him a visit and experience those tribal rhythms and sexy vocals first-hand?! Make sure to stay tuned to our page for the latest news and views from our beloved Dance music world.

Dockyard Festival has been the Netherlands’ best-kept electronic music secret for a decade. Now, it’s ready for its global debut.
Organizers have announced a special edition to mark their 10th anniversary. The Dockyard Warehouse Festival will take place on 19 October at Hembrugterrain, just outside Amsterdam.
This isn’t your typical nostalgia-fuelled celebration. Promoters Coen van Dongen and Tania Davison are focused squarely on the future.
Four stages will host a who’s who of established names and rising stars. It’s a bold statement of intent from a festival ready to claim its place on the international circuit.
The stages: HE.SHE.THEY, ARTBAT with UPPERGROUND and more
British collective HE.SHE.THEY are curating one of the main stages. Their ethos of inclusivity and musical exploration aligns perfectly with Dockyard’s vision.
Their line-up is focused on techno’s diversity. Tunisian DJ Cera Khin will bring her signature blend of Industrial and Middle Eastern influences. Canadian rapper-turned-DJ Chippy Nonstop promises a high-energy set spanning genres.
Two intriguing back-to-back sets highlight HE.SHE.THEY’s knack for unexpected pairings. DANZA TRIBALE label head ADRIEL will go up against Grace Dahl, resident DJ at Amsterdam’s revered Vault Sessions parties.
But it’s the pairing of Dax J and SPFDJ that’s generating the most buzz. Dax J’s hard-hitting style meets SPFDJ’s “utterly ruthless” approach. It’s a combination that promises to push boundaries.
Ukrainian duo ARTBAT are hosting their own stage, bringing their UPPERGROUND concept to Dutch soil. It’s a coup for Dockyard, as ARTBAT’s immersive audiovisual shows have become legendary in techno circles.
Joining them is Danish DJ Kölsch, known for his emotive, melody-driven take on the genre. Rising stars Olympe and Fred Lenix round out a stage that balances accessibility with underground credibility.
Dockyard Festival in Amsterdam Q: What’s Dockyard Warehouse Festival 2024?
A: Dockyard Warehouse Festival 2024 is a special 10th-anniversary edition of Amsterdam’s underground techno event, happening on October 19th at Hembrugterrain. It features four stages of cutting-edge electronic music, hosting 15,000 attendees in a former ammunition factory. The festival showcases both established acts like ARTBAT and Kölsch, alongside emerging talents. This edition marks Dockyard’s evolution from a local secret to an international event during the Amsterdam Dance Event, focusing on the future of techno while maintaining its commitment to inclusivity and underground roots.
The official Warehouse stage is where the Dockyard flexes its talent-spotting muscles. Effy, fresh from a career-defining Boiler Room set, leads a line-up of next-generation headliners.
Emily Nash, recently crowned BBC Radio 1’s “Future Star“, will showcase the sounds that earned her that title. Partiboi69, the Australian DJ turned viral sensation, adds an element of unpredictability to proceedings.
For those craving techno’s darker side, the Laboratory stage delivers in spades. Dutch modular synth wizard Colin Benders headlines, bringing his improvised electronic soundscapes to the industrial setting.
A series of back-to-back sets promise to push the boundaries of experimental techno. Berghain resident Fadi Mohem pairs with Brazilian veteran The Lady Machine, while Belgium’s Phara faces off against Rotterdam’s Stranger.
This potent mix of established names and fresh talent has industry insiders taking notice. Sarah McBriar, founder of Belfast’s AVA Festival, sees it as a significant moment.
More about the Dockyard Festival at ADE 2024 and its inclusivity
The festival’s setting is as carefully considered as its musical offerings. Hembrugterrain, a former ammunition factory, provides a raw, industrial backdrop perfectly suited to techno’s aesthetic.
With a capacity of 15,000, it’s a major step up for Dockyard. But van Dongen is confident they can maintain the festival’s intimate feel.
Dockyard’s commitment to inclusivity is woven throughout the event. The festival has partnered with local LGBTQ+ organizations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all attendees.
As Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) continues to grow, events like Dockyard play a crucial role. They offer an alternative to the more commercial side of dance music, keeping the underground spirit alive.
With its ambitious line-up and forward-thinking approach, Dockyard Warehouse Festival looks set to make a splash. It’s a coming-out party for one of Europe’s most intriguing electronic music events.
For a decade, Dockyard has been the Netherlands’ best-kept secret. Come October, the rest of the world will be in on it too. Tickets are on sale now.

I’m very well, thank you!
Could you share who or what inspired you towards your DJ journey, and how do those inspirations show up in your DJ sets?
Sure, it was the music first and foremost. I became obsessed with dance music when I was about 8 years old. As I learned more about it, it became clear to me that I wanted to be a DJ. The music I first discovered was late ’90s House and Trance, very mainstream stuff as I was hearing it on the radio and TV. These inspirations mainly show up today in my own tracks and also a lot of remixes that I play.
When putting together a new DJ mix, what’s your strategy? How do you decide on the tracks and in what order they should be played?
I suppose it depends on what the mix is for. For a long time now, I’ve been mixing in key or harmonic mixing. So, I use this technique to give my sets some direction.
What are some of the technical aspects of your DJ style? Which is your preferred music gear and why?
My favourite setup is the Pioneer CDJ-3000 and DJM-900NXS2 combo. I’ve used Pioneer gear for such a long time now, I’m very comfortable with it. The effects section is great, and I like using it to add a “live” element to my sets.
Part of a vital skill for a DJ is adapting to a crowd. Did you have an experience where you had to change your set on the spot to better adjust to the audience’s energy?
I have played at some events where the headline DJs have played a completely different style to what they are known for. In these cases, I have just had to read the crowd and see what they respond to. I feel that reading a crowd is one of my strong points.
Throughout your DJ career, what has been one of your most memorable highlights behind the decks?
That’s such a tough one to answer as there have been a lot of memorable moments. To single one out seems impossible. It is always very memorable, though, when I get the chance to play one of my own tracks or remixes and see it go down well!
What are some of the biggest obstacles you’ve experienced DJing, and how did you find ways to overcome them?
From a technical point of view, probably bad monitoring. I end up relying on my headphones a lot more if this is the case. Other than that, probably just my own self-limiting beliefs! By taking one day at a time and staying focused, I find these less of a problem today.
How has your style of DJing evolved over the years?
I feel like when I first started playing in clubs, I was more reserved behind the decks, head-down mixing kind of style. Now, though, I can be more of an entertainer and jump on the mic to hype the crowd if it’s that kind of party!
Were there some collaborations that made a significant impact on your DJ career?
There have been some big collaborations over the years that have had an impact on me musically. Magnetic Man was one for sure, and Swedish House Mafia.
What advice would you give to emerging DJs who are just starting out on their journey and trying to rise in the ranks as a DJ?
My main piece of advice for any DJ just starting out would be to get yourself in front of an audience as often as you can. It is possible to become highly technically skilled whilst practising at home, but it’s only through playing to a crowd that you learn how to keep a dance floor moving.
What’s next for Semark? Are there any upcoming projects, mixes, or performances that you’re looking forward to?
I have a few exciting things coming up! I’ve been working hard in the studio and have lots of music to share, starting with a release in June! Also, I have a summer residency in Kavos, Corfu, which starts soon. I also have a guest mix coming up. It’s looking like a good year, and I can’t wait to get going!

One of the world’s largest gatherings year-round is about to begin. Tomorrowland is getting its doors ready for an impressive congregation of ravers and music lovers, for the usual two weekends in Belgian grounds. All artists and stages are already written down and posted for everyone to have a look and decide where to be at, and at what time.
But it is super overwhelming. Given the amount of DJs playing at all times, we’ve decided to break it down and pick our top sets for each day of Weekend 1. So, if you’re heading over to Tomorrowland and your brain is melting a bit from too much info, sit down, relax, and read on.
Here are our top sets you cannot miss this weekend at Tomorrowland, in no particular order.
Friday
Swedish House Mafia
Mainstage — 22:50 – 23:50
It’s the Swedish House Mafia. They had us singing along to all of their hits back in the day, they broke the internet when they split up, and broke the internet again once they announced they were back. Now, after a string of top-notch releases boasting a more Garage-infused sound, we can only do so much to resist the urge to go see what they have in store for Tomorrowland.
Hardwell (Throwback EDM Set)
Freedom – 23:30 – 00:30
Under the premise that the Freedom stage allows you to experiment and venture out of your usual sound, Hardwell ran a poll on his socials asking which kind of set he should play. The winner, not by a mile but by an entire lightyear, was the Throwback EDM Set option. So yeah. You cannot miss Hardwell looking back at the music that moved our bodies — and even started this page — a decade and a half ago.
Keinemusik
Crystal Garden – 21:30 – 00:30
Arguably the leaders of the Afro House sound right now. With a handful of Beatport Top 1s and a style that has infiltrated basically the entire Dance scene as of now, &ME, Adam Port, and Rampa are bringing their renowned Keinemusik brand to the People of Tomorrow in a few days. It’s going to be a journey, given that they have three hours to tell their story.

Saturday
Laidback Luke presents Wayback Luke
Mainstage – 12:00 – 14:30
Wayback Luke is a concept run by, well, Laidback Luke, if you couldn’t tell. It’s become a monthly radioshow where he takes listeners on a trip back to the golden age of Dance music, and he’s bringing it to Tomorrowland for the third year in a row. Kicking Saturday off with a 2-hour-long summary of 40+ years of Electronic music? Count us in.
REZZMAU5
Freedom – 22:40 – 00:00
If you were looking for unmissable sets, this is definitely one you should be at on Saturday night. Acclaimed producers deadmau5 and Rezz apparently didn’t have much in common, but once they tried and threw a B2B set, it opened up a new world altogether. They’re bringing their conjoint live alias REZZMAU5 over to Boom for a slot full of energy and bangers.
Solomun B2B Four Tet
Crystal Garden – 20:30 – 00:30
This one cannot go wrong. If you’re into longer sets with a focus on telling a story, you’ve come to the right place, as the last four hours of the Crystal Garden stage on Saturday will see an exclusive Solomun & Four Tet set. Two of the most prolific veterans of House and Dance as a whole, coming together for an extended fun time.
Sunday
Tale Of Us
Freedom – 22:00 – 23:30
The Freedom stage will welcome an Afterlife residency on Sunday, so if you’re into their sound and wish to spend the entire day under their synths, it’s the place to be. The special mention, of course, goes to label founders Tale Of Us, who will close the stage with an hour-and-a-half set, anticipating what’s next in the sound of the genre trailblazers.
Korolova
Crystal Garden – 16:00 – 17:30
Korolova is a DJ you have to see at least once in your life. And her sound right now is super tasty, so if you’ve never caught her playing, this is your sign. Melodic, but also banging, her place in the Techno realm portrays a comprehensive blend of the best warm breaks, and the festival-ready beats.
DJ Diesel
The Library – 17:00 – 18:00
Not only is he Shaq, he’s also a beast behind the decks. DJ Diesel returns to Tomorrowland this year to throw a 60-minute set which will most likely be banger after banger after banger. The Dubstep sound suits him very well, and he enjoys producing and playing it. Last year he even joined the mosh pits in the crowd, so for both its sound and its community, you cannot miss this one.
Final Words
And that’s it! Did we miss anything? With only a few days left on the calendar, via this article we consider we’ve done our good deed now and will be back to packing our things for Belgium. See you there!

Featuring a defiant ProbCause, the new single is the latest to release from VITAL SIGNS, O'Neal's third full-length album and first since 2022's scintillating Ricochet. In a world of cookie-cutter tracks, it stands as a testament to the power of staying true to one's artistic vision.
O'Neal, the live electronic music powerhouse, seamlessly blends the soulful warmth of funk with the teeth-rattling bass of dubstep to produce a heady banger that's equal parts nostalgia and futurism. A manifesto for the grind, ProbCause's brazen bars flow like liquid mercury over her intricate beats to celebrate the hard-won spoils of unwavering determination and grassroots success.
A full-blown showcase of O'Neal's signature sound, the track's energy never relents. And it comes to a head in the song's final drop, where O'Neal goes haywire by producing shrieking synths that churn through a centrifuge of nasty bass patches.
O'Neal's new single arrives ahead of a landmark direct support slot for Rezz at Red Rocks in August. Check out "Locked In" below and find the track on streaming platforms here.
