The chances of witnessing something unique and memorable will surely be multiplied at Tomorrowland. The Belgian festival is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary. Amid all the unreal performances, amazing stages, and hundreds of thousands of ravers, one performance caught our eye. During the last track of his mainstage set, the Dutch legend Armin van Buuren was joined by no other than the lead singer and co-founder of Pendulum and Knife Party, Rob Swire. Together, the duo performed an electrifying version of their upcoming collaboration ‘Sound Of You’.
Both Swire and Van Buuren are certified legends. Certainly, two of the best to ever do it. Together, they’ve released hit songs across the majority of the dance music spectrum. Dubstep, drum and bass, trance, big room. You name it. These two have made a mark in the industry that no one can erase. Now, the two very different-sounding artists have come together for a unique release and a very special performance to promote it.
Rob Swire Joins Armin van Buuren To Perform A Special Version Of ‘Sound Of You’ At Tomorrowland
It was first revealed that Swire would join van Buuren to perform their new collaboration at Tomorrowland during an interview Armin held with DJ Mag at the festival. There, the Dutch DJ revealed who his mysterious guest was. Later that same night, after performing a proper AVB set, the English singer, producer, and songwriter joined the man dubbed “The King of Trance” on stage. What followed was one of the best singer-DJ performances we’ve had the chance to enjoy in the two decades Tomorrowland’s been going on.
We’ll leave the video below for you to check out this awesome and unique moment.

In this interview, we sit down with Lady Decibel, an emerging duo in the Electronic music scene known for their dynamic blend of House and Techno. From their early beginnings in Minnesota to becoming a rising DJ duo based in Orlando, Lady Decibel’s journey showcases their passion, resilience and creativity. As they carve out their unique sound and challenge industry norms, we explore their influences, creative process, and the evolving role of female DJs in the music world.

Join us as we dive into their story, discover their new musical direction, and learn more about how they continue to innovate within the Electronic music scene.
Hi Lady Decibel, how are you today? To start, can you tell us about your journey from Belarus and the Philippines to becoming a dynamic DJ duo based in Orlando?

Hey there, we’re doing great, thanks for asking! Both our families immigrated to the US back in the 90s. Anya’s family came over in 1992 when she was just three months old. Can you imagine flying to America with a three-month-old? My family moved here in 1998 when I was 8 years old. We’re based in Orlando, Florida now, but we actually grew up in Minnesota, so we know all about those cold winters.

We met during our first year at an all-women’s college in St. Paul, Minnesota. We were super young then—I was already dabbling in DJing, and Anya had never even been to a club before. I used to sneak her into shows, haha. Her first show was Benny Benassi, I think? Since then, we’ve been hooked on the scene. Around that time, I started making a name for myself, becoming the youngest female DJ in town to open for big names like Benny Benassi, Kaskade, and David Guetta. It was an exciting time for Electronic music, as it was just starting to go mainstream.

I still remember 2009 like it was yesterday. That year, Dance music really took off in America. David Guetta’s album ‘One Love’ dropped, and tracks like ‘Memories’ with Kid Cudi and ‘Sexy B****’ with Akon were being played everywhere. The next year, I got to open for David Guetta at a sold-out show in Minneapolis when I was just 19. It was a wild ride!

Your music blends House and Techno. How did you develop this signature sound?

We’ve always been huge House fans and primarily played House music, but lately, Techno has really caught our attention. We didn’t listen to much Techno before because it didn’t click with us—probably because it lacked the melody and vocals we love. But in the past few years, Techno has gone through its own renaissance. Artists like Layton Giordani, Eli Brown, and Lilly Palmer have taken the genre by storm, pushing it in new creative directions.

Right now, Lady Decibel is going through a big shift in style and sound. Our earlier releases were mostly House, but we’re now moving towards a mix of Dance and Techno. It’s like a blend of old-school Eurodance from the Y2K era with modern Techno. We’ve got a lot coming in the second half of this year, so stay tuned—we can’t wait to share our new sound with you!

With roots in such diverse cultural backgrounds, how would you say your Filipino and Belarusian heritage influence your creative approach?

Our families were all about karaoke, haha. Music was a huge part of our childhood. I’m Filipino, so I grew up with a baby bottle in one hand and a microphone in the other. Anya’s family loved their Russian karaoke parties too. Anya was really into Euro stuff like Eurodance, Europop, and mainstream Dance, while I was all about House and Dance.

What Artists or genres would you say have inspired your style the most?

The biggest influence on our music – Rollergirl.  She’s a German act that took Europe by storm in the 2000s. I was about 14 when first heard “Luv U More”, and it’s one of our favourite Dance songs to date. Another huge influence was the Russian pop-duo t.A.T.u. Their career was nothing but controversy, but musically, their stuff was really, really good.

Have you faced any challenges as a female DJ duo in a male-dominated industry, and how have you overcome them?

So far, with Lady Decibel being this early on in the game, we haven’t faced any major challenges quite yet. However, being taken seriously in the industry is super important. With the internet and social media blowing up over the years, we’ve seen a lot of female DJs making their mark. But sometimes, we question if they’re genuine. On YouTube, you’ll find quite a few female DJs in provocative outfits, like full-on bikinis behind the decks. Is that really necessary?

It makes you think—are they truly passionate about the music, or is it more about gaining followers and attention on social media? Plus, young kids, especially little girls, are going to look up to you. Is that really the image you want to project?

How do you approach creating a new track? What is your typical workflow from concept to final production?

We use Ableton Live and, honestly, 95% of the tracks we start are finished the same day. We believe the best songs come together in one day. From our experience, if you keep coming back to a track day after day, you can lose the main idea, and it just doesn’t sound as cohesive.

Our process usually starts with finding a good vocal sample. Once we have that, we build the entire song around it—drums, bass, melodies, everything. We believe the voice is the best instrument, and if you have a track centered around a strong vocal, it usually ends up being really catchy and enjoyable. We aim to create tracks that people want to listen to over and over, whether they’re streaming it somewhere or hearing it on the radio. All our newest unreleased tracks were made with this approach, and we can’t wait to share them with everyone!

For someone new to your music, which track would you recommend as the perfect introduction to Lady Decibel’s sound?

So, our current catalog is kind of our “old” sound. It was all about experimenting and figuring out who we are as artists in the industry. Now, we’re shifting to a newer, fresher style of Dance and Techno. This is going to be Lady Decibel’s new signature sound from here on out, so keep an ear out for our future releases!

How do you see the role of female DJs evolving in the future, and how do you hope to contribute to this evolution?

We think female DJs are really starting to get the spotlight and influence they deserve in the music industry. With social media blowing up and everyone talking about diversity and inclusion, we see more and more opportunities for female DJs to shine and get the recognition they deserve. Personally, we want to be part of this wave by pushing boundaries and challenging old stereotypes. By putting out top-notch performances and fresh tracks, we hope to inspire other women to chase their dreams and help create a more welcoming and supportive scene for everyone.

Can you share how you prepare for a live set? What do you aim to convey to your audience during your shows?

Our set preparation process is a bit different compared to a lot of touring DJs. Some DJs play totally different sets every time, picking tracks on the fly based on the crowd, while others stick to mostly the same stuff from venue to venue. Many touring DJs only play about 20% of their own tracks live, but think about it—people came to see YOU. They want to hear YOUR songs and YOUR remixes, right?

Our approach is more like live artists or bands. They usually have pre-planned sets with their own songs and maybe a few covers. We’re the same—if you come to a Lady Decibel show, you’ll hear mostly Lady Decibel tracks and IDs. We aim to play at least 50% of our own tracks or more in each live set. And just to be clear, pre-planned doesn’t mean pre-recorded. Every single show will be played live.

We’re all about bringing back the vibe of the old rave days from the 90s and Y2K era. We want to revive that loving, carefree energy—everything that PLUR stood for. We’re talking stage dancers, bright colors, fur, and faster BPM Dance music. We want to truly bring back the rave and everything it represented.

That’s what Lady Decibel is all about. It’s about reviving Dance music, bringing back that vibe, and uplifting the culture. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about us, it’s about the people, the community, and the music that unites us all.

Looking ahead, what goals are you hoping to achieve next?

Lady Decibel’s future is shaping up to be really exciting. Right now, we’re focused on introducing our fresh sound, and looking ahead, we’re planning to release an album and go on our own tour. It’s our first year, and we’re ready to bring Dance and Techno to the forefront. Stay tuned for our upcoming releases!
We wrap up this interview by thanking Lady Decibel for their time and for sharing a deeper look into their journey so far. From their roots in Minnesota to making waves in Orlando’s Electronic music scene, they embody the evolving landscape of Dance music and the increasing influence of female DJs. With a fresh new sound on the horizon and exciting plans for the future, Lady Decibel is set to continue leaving their own mark in the industry, so stay tuned for their upcoming releases and follow their journey, as this is just the beginning.

2006 has been a successful year for house music, facing releases such as Axwell’s ‘World Hold On’ Remix, Fedde Le Grand with his massive hit ‘Put Your Hands Up For Detroit,’ and Tell Me Why, Supermode’s only track which with time, has become a huge classic.
Years before uniting powers with Sebastian Ingrosso and creating Swedish House Mafia, Axwell and Steve Angello have formed the Supermode duo for one special occasion, when they produced ‘Tell Me Why.’ The track sampled two songs from the British pop band Bronski Beat. The instrumental which is inspired by ‘Smalltown Boy,’ and the vocals from the song ‘Why.’
The track explores the concept of emotional ambiguity and the pursuit of clarity. The repetitive phrase ‘Tell Me Why’ symbolises a desire to understand the causes or motivations behind specific events or acts. These ideas of Axwell and Angello have gone far into the charts, reaching the UK Top 40 and spending 7 consecutive weeks there.
The leads of this track are so famous that it is impossible not to recognise them when you hear the song live. After its original release date, ‘Tell Me Why‘ has been reinterpreted by many other artists in the form of remixes, but in 2022 the Meduza trio has shocked the world with their new, own view of the song. Produced and mixed with a modern sound, the track is rocking the biggest festivals in the world with its bass and buildup. Swedish House Mafia have also used the remix in their sets, showing support for new versions of the tracks that they originally made.

Paco Osuna’s NOW HERE residency at Hï Ibiza is redefining the island’s nightlife.
The Club Room at Hï Ibiza throbs with energy. It’s Tuesday night, and the crowd is electric. This is NOW HERE, and it’s unlike anything else on the White Isle.
Paco Osuna, the mastermind behind NOW HERE, stands at the decks. His fingers dance across the mixer, crafting a soundscape that’s both familiar and alien. The crowd moves as one, lost in the music.
This philosophy is at the core of NOW HERE’s success. Now in its third season, the event has become a staple of Ibiza‘s summer calendar.
But what makes NOW HERE stand out in Ibiza’s crowded club scene?
Indeed, unpredictability is NOW HERE’s hallmark. Each Tuesday brings a new lineup, a fresh experience. From rising stars to established names, the talent on display is consistently top-tier.
Take the opening party on June 18th. Swiss-born Mendo kicked off the night with sharp, funky tech-house. The Mason Collective followed, their set a journey through groovy house and heavy basslines. Osuna closed, captivating the crowd until sunrise.
On July 16th, NOW HERE took over Ibiza Global Radio. Melanie Ribbe delivered an hour of live music from the Playa Den Bossa Summer Studio. It was a taste of what was to come later that night at Hï Ibiza.
This holistic approach is paying off. NOW HERE has quickly become one of the most talked-about events on the island.
It’s not just the music that sets NOW HERE apart. The production values are off the charts. Cutting-edge visuals and state-of-the-art sound systems create an immersive experience.
But at its core, NOW HERE is about the music. Osuna’s curation ensures a perfect balance of established acts and emerging talent.
As the sun rises over Ibiza, the last beats fade away. Another NOW HERE night comes to an end. But for the sweaty, smiling crowd leaving Hï Ibiza, the memories will last a lifetime.

Their geographical backgrounds are in contrast to say the least. But the result is something special. Polish-born drum and bass producer Satl teams up with the Los Angeles-native vocalist Brandy Haze to supply an infectious blend of R&B meets D&B.
With their ‘LA Fling’ EP on The North Quarter, they give us five tracks sitting at the familiar 174 tempo, but with a fresh construction otherwise – bringing more warmth and butteriness than the standard liquid roller.
Brandy serves up rich vocals that don’t waver from her roots, bringing sounds and content that are largely untapped to the world of liquid underground D&B. Particularly on the tracks ‘Anxious’, ‘Unfortunate’, and ‘All Night’ where the moments of half-tempo – or no percussion whatsoever – reveal a truly R&B sound that’s getting a lift in energy from the beats.
From natural and stripped-back drum programming to unique melodies, Satl clearly approaches the production of these tracks differently to his other work – understanding the nuances of the soulful LA sound in combination with D&B’s rougher edges.
The pair – who currently only know each other virtually – have chemistry. This is perhaps most evident on ‘Call Me’ done in collaboration with EIJER, and the first single from the EP. The track leans more towards D&B than R&B this time, but the character comes from Brandy’s vocal, and the way it’s been manipulated. As an audio engineer herself, Brandy is able to hand Satl WAVs upon WAVs of ready-to-go vocals (much to his delight), and this is the reason ‘Call Me’s chopped and screwed sound is executed so well.
UKF had to know more about the R&B-meets-D&B, LA-meets-Poland dynamic. We sat down with both of them to discuss their process, techniques, and what they’re learning from each other’s worlds.
How did you two discover each other?
Adrian: Well I just found Brandy on Instagram!
Brandy: Sometimes the best way that it happens is internet connections.
Adrian: These days, on all these channels, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Soundcloud – you can discover so many great artists that you wouldn’t know about, doing the things that you like. And it feels very seamless because you can collaborate with anyone in the world.
So it was just an Instagram message from you to Brandy?
Yeah, one of her songs popped up on my feed, and I thought it sounded really good, so after listening to some more, I was thinking this is the stuff I’m aiming to do in the drum and bass realm. It felt like it could translate really well, so we thought we’d try it. We gave it a try and we’re here now!
Brandy: And Adrian introduced me to drum and bass, because before I’d never really heard about it.
That was going to be my next question. What’s your take on the genre being pretty new to it all?
Brandy: I’m finding now that there are so many artists who dabble in the genre. It’s one of those things where, before, when I didn’t know about it, it didn’t exist to me. But now that I know what I’m hearing a little more, I’m hearing so many artists I know who have a drum and bass track.
I don’t know if you would consider her strictly drum and bass – but Rochelle Jordan does some really cool stuff with house and dance music, I think she does have one or two D&B tracks too.

Are you noticing much of a crossover between underground dance music and R&B? It seems like a rare thing.
Brandy: Yeah I feel like right now, with this DJ-era on the rise, people are blending stuff together so much, dance music especially is getting mixed with all types of other genres.
Adrian: I also think drum and bass is having a big rise in the US at the moment – be it more mainstream or underground stuff. I think there’s a lot of exciting things going on over there. The way I see it, for so many years people in drum and bass were aiming for this jazzy style or deeper style. But R&B is popular at the moment – on the radio and underground – and I feel like us in drum and bass should move forward, along with it, and take more influence from what’s hot right now. Not be stuck in the past. There’s lots of new avenues to explore at the moment.
Drum and bass soldiers, the purists, would be hating on people using auto-tune in vocals or something. But with the technology there, why not take advantage of it and make something fresh? Rather than be stuck and follow the same patterns.
Are you two taking inspiration from any other peers?
Adrian: Within D&B, there are others who are getting involved with similar things – Halogenix, GLXY for example, we’re trying to push this R&B-inspired take on D&B. So on that side there’s definitely something bubbling.
Brandy: For me this is all-kind of fresh, and new, and I’m excited to be getting involved in it in the US, and helping drum and bass grow out here.
It does seem like it’s definitely starting to pick up a lot in the US as well. Submorphics is pushing that underground D&B sound with US influence.
Adrian: Yeah for sure. I listen to a lot of American music in my free time, and I feel like even the channels like Soulection, they are trying to explore D&B more. Which is very exciting, because they are one of these outlets who really inspire me with this D&B-R&B hybrid. It’s nice to see that side of the world taking on D&B and trying to translate it in their own terms.
Let’s talk about process – how does a track come together between you two?
Adrian: So the first two tracks we’ve done, ‘Today’ and ‘Call Me’, I had instrumentals which I sent to Brandy. But the other three were vocals that Brandy already had – so I built everything around those the other way around, pretty much from scratch.
Brandy: Yeah it was a little bit of both!
So on ‘Call Me’ and ‘Today’, Brandy – if you get sent those in D&B tempo, how did you adapt to that?
Brandy: Yeah I did try to follow the energy of the track a little bit more. But then also just being able to freestyle and try some different things, I knew it could be remixed and played with.
Yes! I noted ‘Call Me’ as one of my tracks of the year last year, and a big thing I loved about it was the fact that the vocals were so layered and chopped.
Adrian: And Brandy is an engineer herself, so that’s really good to work with as a producer – because she sends everything over like a pro. So I can have a field day with the vocals when I receive them, and really try to take them to different places.
Even with ‘Today’, we had so many parts we didn’t end up using. We just stuck to a few really strong parts that were re-arranged and edited. We ended up with something completely different than the original idea.
When Brandy can engineer herself, and put all the effects that she knows will work, it just makes my work easier. I’m getting something really high quality that I can take inspiration from, and take in all sorts of directions. I’ll send it to her throughout as well, to see what she thinks, and so I don’t take it too far into a weird direction!
Adiran, on the production side – how did you build those to have this R&B feeling? This whole EP does feel distinctly relaxed and smooth, even though it’s at D&B tempo and back-boned with energy…
Adiran: One of the things I often do with this style, is that I start the instrumental without any drums. So I’m not put into that D&B mindset, and I can have a full idea laid down before I put any drums in there to give it the rhythm. Sometimes, drum and bass being a specific tempo and the rhythm of the drums always being very similar, that can put you in a box.
If you don’t have that constraint and you’re just writing chords and melody, you can be more expressive. And sometimes when I work with vocalists, I will on-purpose not send them the instrumental with the drums, I will just give a hi-hat or something so that they’re not in the mindset of D&B when they’re writing.
Yeah, that approach is definitely noticed. Have you sat in the studio together yet?
Brandy: Not yet, but hopefully soon.
Adrian: Yes I’m working on my US visa to come and do a line of shows. But it’s a very long process. But if that happens I’m sure we will link up and make sure something happens.
Brandy: I would love to come over to your side of the world as well. And I definitely want to travel, so hopefully if not this year, next year I can have a nice little London tour.
We need to get you on the microphone at a drum & bass rave over here. Surely a TNQ at Phonox event…
Speaking of The North Quarter, is this D&B-R&B hybrid a sound that Lenzman has specifically been pushing for?
Adrian: Since I’ve joined the North Quarter, Teije has always given me a free hand – he’s said to do whatever I want, and if he likes it, it will get a release and make it work. So there hasn’t felt like any push from him in that direction. I feel like it came from me.
When I did the album at the end of 2022, after that I felt like I had to change my approach and a bit of what I’m doing. I was struggling to find a new direction, and after a couple of months, I felt like this hybrid was really speaking to me, so I naturally explored it more.
When the time came to do a follow up after the album, I sent all this over to Teije and he was on board. It’s really good because I didn’t feel any pressure to do a certain style and follow any other style. It just grew naturally.
Yeah it’s definitely different to Gloom.
Do you take a lot of inspiration from being in sort of a tunnel vision on a certain style, or is it more that you just make a bunch of tracks and eventually you get a collection that works for a project?
Adrian: I mean I never made music with a project in mind to be honest. This EP even, we have so many more tracks not on this release, and it’s just a matter of selecting them.
Excited to hear more. Are you both noticing a crossover of fans?
Brandy: I definitely notice more overseas fans now. I do have a big London fanbase, I guess from Soundcloud, I was pretty heavy on there in 2018. But I’m seeing it grow, and then other places around the world like Portugal and other spots in Europe are growing.
Adrian: I definitely have more of a fanbase in the US now. I think it comes from the fact that I listen to a lot of music that comes from there, and then I translate that into drum and bass, and I think they’re picking up on that. I’ve seen my American fanbase on Spotify grow from being quite far down to top 5 consistently.
Were you thinking about the way this project could affect your branding, for better or worse, with your existing fanbase?
Brandy: I think two things on this. Firstly, I think right now, where music is at, there’s so much being put out every day that fans will find what they like. People are also crossing genres more and more. You have people like Doja Cat who you can’t really put in a box.
I also started off with quite a housey sound to begin with, I had a song called ‘Conditional’ which blew up on Soundcloud. And it was very different, it wasn’t considered R&B or pop – it was much more in the dance music space. So I think my audience has been sort of warmed to this from the start, and the introduction of drum and bass is complementary, not jarring or anything.
And Adrian, I guess you’re kind of just known for going in all sorts of directions to your fans.
Adrian: Yeah, ever-changing! For me, I just like to write music, and whatever happens with it, whatever genre it ends up being, I don’t mind.
Sometimes the ideas start as a completely different genre. I’ll start with a UK garage track, hip-hop, and then they end up being D&B, or vice-versa. So I always enter it with an open mind, and not feeling like, this is sick, it needs to be drum and bass. Because it might sound better as a different genre.
Are each of you working with any other artists in this style?
Adrian: We haven’t really brought anyone else on the project. I have worked recently with some instrumentalists that make samples and things. I just feel like it’s quite fresh to bring in someone with a different idea, and then translate them. But on this project, only ‘Call Me’ was made with Eijer.
Brandy: For me, no I haven’t worked with any other D&B producers – not yet!
Not yet! But you’ve mentioned more is coming, and I heard it might be for 1985 Music?
Adrian: Yes. That’s actually another track with Eijer as well – I think that will be out in October or November as part of a VA compilation.
Apart from that, we’ve got a few other tracks. Literally this week I’ve been working on something with Duskee, where Brandy’s vocals will be featured as well. It’s got this MC and singer combo, which works really well. But that’s still in the works. We’ve got way more coming, but it’s just about timing and when we can make people hungry for this type of sound.
Have you noticed this sound is becoming quite sought after by D&B labels?
Adrian: Yeah I think so. I’ve worked with a lot of vocalists who are within drum and bass or came from drum and bass, but quite an exciting thing about Brandy is she hasn’t done any drum and bass before. I feel like that’s what makes it sound fresh, it’s so authentic, and she’s so good to work with. It doesn’t sound like we’re trying to force that hybrid sound, it just happens naturally. So hopefully people will start to notice and pay more attention to it.
Are you working on any genres together? You could make some great R&B or slower tempo stuff.
Brandy: Not that we’ve talked about, but Adrian… let’s visit that at some point.
Adrian: Definitely. Because Brandy stepped into my world, so it would be nice to do the reverse of that.
What’s on the horizon for you outside of this project, Brandy?
Brandy: I’ve got a lot more to release this summer – some collaborations, and something on the Kali Uchis-type vibe. I feel like we’re going to have a great summer of music, everybody is back into releasing so I can’t wait to hear what everyone else is dropping as well.
That post-covid hangover is well and truly gone.
Brandy: Exactly, everybody’s been looking forward to this summer!
Adrian: Definitely. And for me, it’s just the usual – lots of releases scheduled. There’s a few surprising ones coming too. Some stuff on Critical, 1985. This year I’m just dedicating myself to pushing the new sounds I’m into, and I’ve got a lot of interesting collaborations that people might not be expecting. There’s loads, it’s just a matter of when it comes out.
I’m really excited for what’s coming. Especially for the two of us, I believe we are onto something very unique, that not a lot of others are doing to the same extent. Hopefully that inspires other people to dive deeper into other genres, and be inspired by them. Like Brandy said, there’s so much good music being released every week, that you can really try and find your own unique combination of genres that you are influenced by, and pave your own way. And if you stick long enough, it’s going to pay off.

Hold onto your synapses because Anyma is rewiring Las Vegas' nervous system after selling out his historic residency at the Sphere.
The superstar Italian DJ is set to become the first electronic dance music artist to perform at the arena inside the $2.3 billion venue, the world's largest spherical structure.
After revealing a landmark New Year's Eve headlining show, the Sphere added five more events due to "incredible ongoing demand," per a press release. All six concerts comprising the groundbreaking residency from December 27th to January 1st sold out in a matter of minutes.
Anyma, who is beloved within the electronic music community for his haunting and immersive visuals, will be remixing the laws of physics in the giant orb, which contains the world's largest- and highest-resolution wraparound LED screen. The DJ in 2016 co-founded the Afterlife label and touring brand, whose cerebral approach to techno has effectively reinvented the genre for today's generation, mutating it into a dazzling—and oftentimes chilling—live music experience.
Anyma's residency is a watershed moment for the pioneering Sphere, where only a handful of legendary rock and jam bands have performed prior: U2, Phish, Dead & Company and The Eagles. And as this EDM-fueled spectacle takes shape—quite literally in spherical form—he's promised "the best show" of his remarkable career thus far.
"Three years ago when I started Anyma I would have never believed we’d come this far - all I can say is Thank You," he said. "To all 100,000 of you attending I promise to give you the best show of my life, with special surprises and guests lined up."

We’re almost one week out from SoCal’s HARD Summer, set to take place at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park, adjacent to SoFi Stadium, on August 3rd and 4th. With a lineup as stacked as this one, it can be hard to choose which artists to prioritize on your weekend itinerary. Read on for a list of Must-See acts at this year’s HARD Summer.
Disclosure
Award-winning production duo/brothers, Disclosure, are one of dance music’s most successful acts. With iconic breakout tracks like ‘Latch‘ and ‘You & Me‘ (later remixed notoriously by Flume), it didn’t take long for this pair’s career to catapult to new heights. This duo knows how to put on a live show, and they are not an act you seen on lineups often. In fact, they just performed their first live set since 2016 earlier this year at Primavera Sound in Barcelona. So don’t miss your chance to see them in action on Saturday! I promise it’ll be a good time.
REZZMAU5
REZZMAU5 is the collaborative project everyone’s been buzzing about, and for good reason. The pair first teamed up in 2021 for their collaboration, ‘Hypnocurrency,’ leaving fans begging for more. They officially teamed up as REZZMAU5 last year, marking the new b2b project with its debut release, ‘Infraliminal‘ on mau5trap. They’ve since performed a few coveted REZZMAU5 sets, including at Canada’s Veld Music Festival and most recently, Belgium’s Tomorrowland. While Rezz and deadmau5 alone might be easy to catch on a lineup, a REZZMAU5 set is still few and far between, so don’t miss you chance to see these two incredible acts combine their unique sounds on Friday night!
Levity
This trio from Chicago might just be the most talked-about EDM act of the past year. They first appeared on everyone’s radar after Electric Forest 2023, in which they were a last-minute replacement for another artist at the Honeycomb stage. The set, which they later uploaded to SoundCloud, took the world by storm, showcasing their energetic stage presence, crowd interaction, and a unique blend of all different genres. Levity will be bringing the vibes to HARD Summer on Saturday. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Mary Droppinz
I first had the opportunity to witness a Mary Droppinz set at Deadrocks earlier this month. I was blown away by the energy she emanated from behind the decks, with her nonstop smiling, dancing, and mixing banger after banger. She also brought her own dancers to perform on stage, who brought up the vibes of the set even more. Covering everything from house to dubstep to UK rap to riddim, Mary Droppinz defies genre boundaries. That’s exactly what makes her live performances so entertaining, so don’t miss your chance to catch Mary on Saturday!
Chase & Status
If you’ve been to a festival within the last year, you’ve likely heard ‘Baddadan,’ the mega-collab between Chase & Status, Bou, Flown, IRAH, Trigga, and Takura. While this drum & bass hit has taken the festival circuit by storm, Chase & Status has been on the map for a lot longer than its July 2023 release date. This duo is among legends in the UK DnB community, with releases that date back to the early 2000s. If you’re a fan of high-energy drum & bass, or witnessing iconic acts live, don’t miss HARD Summer’s special guest, Chase & Status, on Saturday.
Two-day GA, GA+, and VIP HARD Summer festival passes are available now. Visit HARD’s official website for more info!

Before becoming part of the supergroup Swedish House Mafia, Axwell and Steve Angello were already making waves in the dance music scene. The close friends frequently collaborated in the studio, appearing on singles such as ‘Get Dumb’ and ‘Leave The World Behind’. However, under the duo name Supermode, they released ‘Tell Me Why’ on July 24, 2006. This track, their only release as Supermode, sampled ‘Why?’ and ‘Smalltown Boy’ by Bronski Beat and quickly became a dance floor anthem.
Axwell, a five-time Grammy-nominated artist, is known for his distinctive sound and significant contributions to the electronic dance music scene. As a member of Swedish House Mafia, he conquered festivals throughout the early 2010s, achieving platinum certifications with albums like ‘Until One’ and ‘Until Now’. As a solo artist, he released consistent hits, including 2008’s ‘What a Wonderful World’, 2012’s remix of ‘In My Mind’, and 2018’s ‘Belong’.
Steve Angello, known for his casual demeanor and dedication to his craft, has earned his “legend” status as a member of Swedish House Mafia. With a discography dating back to 2003, Angello has released and produced multiple hits under various projects and aliases. He continues to receive upwards of 5 million monthly streams, reflecting his enduring influence in the music industry.

A week ago Anyma announced his brand new show “THE END OF GENESYS” during 2024 New Year’s Eve at The Sphere in Las Vegas. Tickets went sold out in zero time.
To been able to acomade more fans, Anyma announced two new dates and then another three. With now 6 dates for “THE END OF GENESYS” show, The Sphere in Las Vegas will host what we’ll call the “Anyma-week”.
The crazy part of this story is that all 6 shows are completely sold out. 100.00 attendees are expected for “THE END OF GENESYS”.
Anyma commented on the show:
Anyma operates at the compelling intersection between art, technology, and music. Having released his debut album Genesys, followed by Genesys II, “THE END OF GENESYS”, as the name suggests, is the end of the journey.
Everything is encapsulated in the Afterlife. It has evolved from an event series and record label to a multidimensional platform for groundbreaking artists and visually sensational installations.
The Sphere won’t be the usual Anyma show. First of all because of the insane backdrop. The massive ledwall inside The Sphere will show the outstanding visual in a way you have never experienced. The shows will also include special guests.
All six shows will showcase a meticulously curated selection of music and visual art by Anyma and Afterlife.
The visual show will be in collaboration with digital artists and directors such as Alessio De Vecchi, Tobias Gremmler, and Alexander Wessely, ensuring an unforgettable and distinctive encounter.
The Las Vegas Sphere is the next generation of music venues. It includes the world’s highest-resolution LED display and an advanced concert-grade audio system, Sphere Immersive Sound, powered by HOLOPLOT.
Anyma is the first-ever electronic artist to perform at The Sphere and, probably, one of the most fast-selling yet.

Listen to a beautiful track we recently came across.
Knock knock, it’s new music once again! Always eager to welcome talents from all over the world and their compositions, we’d like to share a truly wonderful remix with you all. The remix comes from Trance mastermind DIM3NSION, and the original comes to you courtesy of the EDM duo Secret Wish.
Secret Wish
Secret Wish, a Belgian Dance-Pop duo, are a growing force, making a name for themselves worldwide. The pair, comprised of seasoned DJ and producer Kurt and dynamic vocalist Heidi, create music with a mission: pure, unadulterated fun. Their style, self-referred to as “bubblegum dancey stuff“, blends Kurt’s experience in the nightlife scene with Heidi’s honed vocals.
DIM3NSION
A pioneer in Spain’s Electronic music scene, DIM3NSION has carved a remarkable path over the past fifteen years. His journey began as a budding producer at home, and he’s since ascended to the ranks of respected artists signed by major labels. Remarkably, he’s got to the ears of Trance legend Ferry Corsten, who’s signed his records to Flashover recordings, and with who he worked on the conjoint track ‘Safe With Me’.
‘Melody Of The Music Man (DIM3NSION Remix)’
Now, Secret Wish have unveiled a new heater. Mixed and mastered by the Grammy-nominated producer Benny Steele, ‘Melody Of The Music Man’ is driven by an emotive melody that evokes a powerful emotional response, and it stands out as a unique instrumental track that will remind you of the dancefloors of yesteryear. Which is what makes the track so special.
Adding an extra dimension of feels to the track, enter DIM3NSION. His rework of ‘Melody Of The Music Man’ is written in a Progressive Trance / Trance style, making use of the, well, melody, as the centrepiece of a heartwarming club anthem.
This remix is crafted in such a way that it will take you on a journey. It serves as a vintage Trance spirit, wearing more modern clothes, and we bet more than a few attendees might shed a tear with this one if the mood is just right. We were just about to… at home. Speaks volumes.

Two years after Gordo and Drake's collaborations became instant summertime staples in 2022, they're ready to showcase more on the former's debut album, Diamante.
The culmination of over four years of work, the introspective project moonlights as a reflection of Gordo's evolution as an artist. He famously retired his Carnage alias back in May 2022.
"[Diamante is] the most emotional project I’ve worked on in my life," Gordo said. "It features work from artists I’ve looked up to and artists who inspire me, some I've known for years and others I've met more recently."
Gordo and Drake's partnership has been instrumental in shaping the landscape where hip-hop meets house music. Their collaborative force was first showcased on Drake's dance-influenced album Honestly, Nevermind, in which the DJ contributed production to six tracks. The synergy is set to continue on Diamante, which spans 16 tracks and includes high-profile features from T-Pain, Leon Bridges, Maluma, Fuerza Regida and Keinemusik's Rampa and &ME, among others.
"We've been friends for years but had never actually properly collaborated on music before Honestly, Nevermind," Gordo says of his first official collaboration with Drake. "To have him on my debut album speaks volumes about what people can expect on it."
View the original article to see embedded media.
Since adopting the Gordo alias, the "Taraka" producer has earned several significant accolades in a short period of time, including a Grammy nomination and topping Billboard's "Hot 100 Producers" chart. Fans can look forward to the producer's next milestone with the release of his debut album on July 26th.
"This album embodies all my different tastes and personalities, from what I listen to, to what I play live, who I am as an artist, but most importantly, who Diamante is," he added. "It’s my most personal work to date and comes from a place of love and authenticity. Most of the album’s production was done at home in Hawaii. I would produce until 6 PM, then I’d take a break, sit on my terrace, and watch the sunset while listening to the album and taking it all in. It’s an album you can listen to at home and at a 5am rave; it can be the pinnacle of your night or the perfect come-down after a long day. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on."

The iconic Hospital Records is known for taking drum & bass to places it's never been, but the team behind the label outdid themselves this time.
Hospital literally took their music to new heights in the skies of Bristol, where they recently hosted the city's first-ever hot air balloon rave. The ambitious event came to life via a collaboration between Hospitality (the label's global events arm), the summertime event organizer Siren and the nonprofit RIOT Noise.
Together, they organized the skyward rave and brought in Hospital Records artist Anaïs to DJ. A small group of contest winners packed into the gondola and partied to her blistering blend of jungle and drum & bass as a drone followed in close pursuit to capture stunning, panoramic views of Bristol.
View the original article to see embedded media.
"When you think of Bristol, a couple of things come to mind, and that’s an unbeatable nightlife, and hot air balloons," said Tom Hoyle, co-founder of Siren. For us, this was a no brainer... It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and what I love about Bristol is that it encourages you to make these wild ideas actually happen. We ran a competition for anyone to apply for a spot in the basket, and we were overwhelmed with the amount of responses we got."
The event arrived ahead of Hospitality on the Harbour, scheduled for August 3rd at Lloyds Amphitheatre in the heart of Bristol. Anaïs features on the bill, which is topped by drum & bass superstars Andy C and Netsky.

Listen to a gigantic track we recently came across.
Here at EDMTunes, we’re always excited to find out about artists that weren’t on our radar before and who amaze us with their productions. It’s happened today, in the form of a very versatile, veteran artist, who’s just put out an album, mind you. Meet Bogendorfer.
Bogendorfer
Hailing from Oberwart, Austria, the ever-evolving artist Franz Johann Bogendorfer, also known in the industry as just Bogendorfer, has been a powerhouse in the scene for years, masterfully switching between Deep Tech, Organic Tech House, and Downtempo sounds that make up his core essence.
Earlier this month, he unveiled his latest artist album, Cohuna Beatz. Consisting of eight tracks, produced at the renowned Batusim Studio Oberwart, and released through vinyl, the LP represents the culmination of Bogendorfer’s years of dedication and experimentation. And out of the album, one track in particular blew us right out of the water.
‘Ogun’
Warm and groovy, ‘Ogun’ is a wonderful blend of Deep House and Afro House, taking the foundation from the first, but the personality of the second, resulting in a very interesting concept that stands out in today’s template-filled world.
Playing with high toms, African chants, House claps, robotic vocals, synth arpeggios, and much more, Bogendorfer is able to portray an arrangement like few around, providing a fresh note of Dance to the industry, and paving the path for other producers to follow his footsteps.

It’s a wrap on Tomorrowland Weekend 1, 2024!
With a slew of spectacular performances, extravagant production with the largest mainstage to date and a sold-out attendance, it’s difficult to pin-point a stand-out act.  However, if we’re going to talk about the youngest person to play at the festival this year, that title goes to DJ Archie.
Hailing from the North Essex, England, at just 9-years old Archie Norbury has left quite a prominent mark in the electronic dance music scene.
His foray into this world commenced at a young age, where Archie’s interest in DJing began when he was just 2 years old. His inspiration came from seeing his father’s love for music where in an interview with DJ Mag, Archie said that he first tried his hands out at DJing on his dad’s equipment “My dad was a DJ and one day I turned on his equipment when he was out of the room and I was mixing and it was all in time,” he said.
DJ Archie‘s career has been growing over the years, highlighted by significant turning points like winning DJ competitions and building a social media following. In 2018, at the age of four years and 130 days, Archie was officially acknowledged by Guinness World Records as the youngest DJ in the world. This accomplishment made him well-known throughout the world and opened doors for him to have more success as a DJ.
DJ Archie‘s performance at Tomorrowland 2024 was the talk of the event.
