You’re still in times to get the latest tickets as Barcelona’s Brunch Electronik Festival is going to sell out in a matter of hours. This is due to the fact that Barcelona’s Brunch Electronik Festival has just released the set times for the 2024 edition.
This second edition in Barcelona will take place on the 9th, 10th, and 11th of August.
Single-day tickets for Saturday, the 10th have completely sold out, while tickets for Friday and Sunday are close to doing the same.
The star-studded festival will take place on Friday and Saturday across five stages. Be ready to party at the Spanish second city’s stunning waterfront venue complex, Parc Del Fòrum, followed by afterparties at Nitsa Club and Apolo.
Sunday 11th, headlined by huge special guest Black Coffee alongside Ahmed Spins, Airrica, Moblack, and Pablo Fierro, takes place at the beautiful Jardins Joan Brossa, located just a short walk down the beach from Parc Del Fòrum.
But, let’s have a look at all the stages of this year’s Barcelona’s Brunch Electronik Festival
Harmonik – the stage with melodic sounds
The Harmonik stage is all about those low-slung emotive melodic techno beats. On Friday, Dixon will go to B2B with Argentinian producer/DJ Hernan Cattaneo, followed by sets by Miss Monique, Adam Ten, Olympe b2b Pole Position, and Marian Ariss.
Moving into Saturday, UK hit-makers Camelphat headline Harmonik. Melodic techno duo Mathame, the legendary Sasha and John Digweed, Shall Ocin, and more will follow them.
Iconik by Yamaha Electric – 100% TECHNO
Iconik is where to go for all things techno – hard, fast, and uncompromising. Len Faki is set to round things off here on Friday, following DJ sets by Modeselektor, Helena Hauff, Deborah de Luca, BIIA, and Brenda Serna.
Dax J and Paula Temple will bring their heavy techno sound to Iconik on Saturday, alongside TRYM, Elli Acula, Kobyo, and Yozy.
Rythmik hosted by RA – For the music selectors
The Rythmik stage, curated by Resident Advisor, features a diverse lineup of well-known names. On Friday, John Talabot, Palms Trax, Gabrielle Kwarteng, and Nightmares On Wax will no doubt provide a lovely soundtrack for the sunset.
Jayda G headlines Rythmik on Saturday, following a set from the man of the moment, Salute. Dee Diggs, Kampire, Beniso, and Mona Lee will also play.
Euphorik by Estrella Damm – The stage of bands and live shows
Over on the Euphorik stage, you can expect to find more live acts and bands.
Boris Brejcha will deliver his ‘Another Dimension’ live A/V show from 1 am til 3 am on Friday. After that a wild performance from the one and only ‘Loop Daddy’, Marc Rebillet. The legendary Röyksopp will also perform, along with Dorian, Cráneo and Hnos Munoz.
French duo The Blaze will round off Saturday at the Euphorik stage, playing after Soulwax and Polo & Pan and a live set by WhoMadeWho.
Groovik -The sounds that move the masses
House names Denniz Cruz and Pawsa come together for a DJ set under their much-loved shared ‘GOLFOS’ alias on the Groovik stage on Friday.
This is before Turkish-Italian DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Carlita is set to take to the decks for a headline slot. If that’s not enough, Hot Creations boss Jamie Jones also plays earlier in the night with a two-hour set from 8 pm to 10 pm.
Groovik also sees a stellar run of dance music talent old and new on Saturday, with the likes of Fatboy Slim, Vintage Culture and Dom Dolla gracing the stage. Hayden James, Kesia, and HANIE will also play.
Tackling the environmental impact of the festival
This year, Brunch Electronik Festival partners with Repsol as its energy partner in this edition to reduce its CO2 emissions. The company will prevent the emission of more than 9 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere. This will be achieved thanks to the supply of over 3,000 liters of 100% renewable fuel, which will power the generators that supply energy to the festival’s stages.
You can buy single-day, weekend, and after-party tickets for Brunch Electronik.
Brunch Electronik will debut in Los Angeles as well.

MaRLo takes his sound in a bold new direction with the unveiling of his alter ego: V3NOM.
Debuting on Timmy Trumpet’s SINPHONY label, “Open Your Eyes” marks the beginning of an exhilarating new chapter for the Dutch-born, Australian-raised artist.
While MaRLo has long been celebrated for his signature high-energy performances and chart-topping hits, V3NOM represents a darker, more intense evolution of his sonic identity. V3NOM is the culmination of his journey from his original sound through his TECH ENERGY phase, now emerging as a harder, more aggressive sonic project. This new alias dives headfirst into harder dance music styles, delivering bone-crushing kicks and epic, anthemic melodies that still carry MaRLo’s unmistakable touch.

“Open Your Eyes” showcases this darker shift, seamlessly blending elements of psy-trance, hardstyle, and big-room into a festival-ready powerhouse. With its intense atmosphere, rave-fueled synths, and earth-shaking drops, the track exudes raw, unbridled energy designed to ignite dancefloors and mainstages alike.

We have left the two masterminds on the Library stage at Tomorrowland 2024 but, Lucas & Steve are back on the festival’s label with Are You Ready.
Yes, you should be ready because the tune is a festival anthem. We heard it live at Tomorrowland while the duo was playing and we can guarantee you it made people move.
Dropped in the middle of the set, Are You Ready shake things up on the dancefloor. Was it the vocal by English Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Laura White? Was it because of the infected beats and floor filler harmonies? One thing is sure, the tune delivered what it promised.
Lucas & Steve Are You Ready is a catchy and uplifting house anthem. It combines prominent and powerful voices with masterful and uplifting melodies. It’s a quick-moving floor filler that gets right to work.
The tune is out now on Tomorrowland Music, the festival’s flagship imprint.
The duo played Tomorrowland Belgium this year at the Library stage. We were there and the set was stunning with the two playing old classics and brand new music including an ID around minutes 40, put together with The Sound Of Violence (Acappella).
Lucas & Steve (check their 2020 album) Are You Ready is out now on Tomorrowland Music.

As MagicX launches Hero on the App Store, anticipation is building for a product that promises to pioneer a new category of mobile application.
Backed by The Chainsmokers, the Hero app leverages AI to create a seamless, intuitive user experience designed to revolutionize how we manage our daily lives. The heart of Hero's innovation lies in its unique approach to design and AI integration. Unlike traditional apps, it aims to be the first true super-app, unlocking new possibilities with a sophisticated yet user-friendly interface.
Alex Pall and Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers have been bringing their innovative spirit to the tech world through their Mantis VC fund. Their creative input and investment in Hero significantly shaped the app's development.
"They joke that people who meet them outside of music say they are 'pleasantly surprised.' That's an understatement," Hero CEO Brad Kowalk tells EDM.com. "Their creativity extends to any field. For instance, Alex may have a concert coming up but will still squeeze in a message about Siri and his thoughts on where the broader assistant space is headed."
Hero
Kowalk and CTO Seung Lee's leadership has led to the development of Hero's central features, which include voice-activated event creation, collaborative to-do lists and AI-driven grocery list generation. These capabilities, designed to streamline daily life, make it easier to manage routine tasks with just a few voice commands.
Kowalk explains there's multiple areas in the app where you'll interact with AI. "The big one is the voice interface, which uses AI to detect what you're saying, understand what you're trying to do, then update the UI in real-time as you're speaking," he said.
MagicX envisions Hero evolving to meet the changing needs of users, particularly those in creative fields. The app is designed to reduce the time and effort spent on managing daily tasks, allowing users to focus more on their passions.
"Our mission is for you to do more by doing less," Kowalk adds. "If we do our job right, you won't even have to think about 'productivity' in the future. People, especially creative people, should be able to free up their minds and schedules to do more of what they love."
Akhil Patel, Hero's designer, emphasized the app's foundational principles that set it apart from existing productivity tools. The dashboard, he explains, is designed to keep AI invisible and strive for simplicity.
"Most productivity tools start with one or two niche functions but get clunky over time," Patel says. "With Hero, our goal is to continuously simplify and optimize as we add new features so the overall complexity doesn’t increase over time."

The sun rose and set to Skrillex's command over the weekend at Lollapalooza, where the dubstep icon transformed one of the festival's most beloved stages into his own adult playground.
Sporting a new name atop its towering truss, the iconic Perry's Stage transformed into "Sonny's Stage" and trembled under the weight of Skrillex's sonic bookends as he opened Saturday with a noon set under the Chicago sun before closing the night with a thunderous encore at 8:15. A curated lineup of his friends and collaborators, including Kenny Beats and Four Tet, built the energy to a fever pitch in-between.
When darkness fell, Skrillex returned to detonate that pent-up frenzy with a genre-bending blitz of bangers, including spins of "Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites," Bangarang" and his remix of Avicii's timeless "Levels." The energy boiled over when he closed with "RATATA," his fan-favorite collaboration with Missy Elliott from last year's Quest for Fire album.
Many fans at "Sonny's Stage" stayed put the entire day. Skrillex paused at one point to pay homage to the stage's namesake, Perry Farrell, and acknowledge his wish for it to remain dedicated to the famed Lollapalooza co-founder.

The rare takeover was a big moment for the electronic dance music community considering Farrell's thorny relationship with the genre. "I hate EDM," he told the Chicago Tribune back in 2019. "I want to vomit it out of my nostrils. I can't stand what it did to what I love, which is house music."
Reflecting on those comments in a late-2022 interview with EDM.com, he explained that they were more so a critique on the bastardization of the art form of DJing that arose from corporate interests.
"It just kind of came out of my mouth," he said. "I shouldn't have probably said it, but once I said it, I mean, I stand by it because I'm only going to try to speak from a place of truth."

The filaments of Pretty Lights are glowing brighter than ever after a rare collaborative performance with Dave Tipper at Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Together with his live band, Pretty Lights, whose real name is Derek Vincent Smith, threw down at the iconic open-air venue on August 2nd and invited Tipper onstage. The influential electronic music producer, who rarely makes guest appearances, joined Smith for an impromptu scratch session that fans of both artists won't soon forget.
"What a fucking treat to have such a legend in the house with us," Smith said.
They performed a live rendition of Tipper's track "Tepid Bile," which appeared on his 2005 album Tip Hop. Check out footage below, courtesy of Upful LIFE.
Tipper had joined Smith onstage a handful of times in years past, including a standout Pretty Lights set at the Gorge Amphitheatre in August 2017. The rare joint performance at Red Rocks is likely their last, however. It took place in the midst of a de facto farewell run for Tipper, who in February announced his impending retirement from touring.
"After spending the better part of my adult life touring and playing shows, I feel like its time to stop," he announced in an email to fans at the time. "I'm very grateful for all the support over the years. It will be a wrap sometime in 2025. Peace Out."
Meanwhile, Pretty Lights is poised to continue his "Soundship Spacesystem 2024 Check Your Vector Tour" with a pair of momentous Vegas arena shows scheduled for Halloween weekend, October 25-26.

Andrew Bayer and Oliver Smith are among some of Anjunabeats‘ top names and they have just introduced their latest collaborative track, ‘Like DAT’. This stellar Progressive-Trance fusion follows up from ‘Rude Boyz’, the track that marked their debut collaboration that later had Above & Beyond providing support at many shows this year, with one of them being at the Drumsheds venue in London. The backdrop behind Andrew Bayer and Oliver Smith creating and releasing ‘Like DAT’ is that both artists share a love for UK Bass music from the ’90s and the 2000s.
The two artists, although just recently back in the spotlight due to their first conjoint work, have been core pillars of the Anjunabeats brand for a long time. In fact, Olli has made an appearance in every single Anjunabeats Volume compilation, ever since the early days. On its own side, Bayer revolutionized the Anjuna sound with countless tracks and albums on the label, and is even credited as a co-producer for the Above & Beyond work.
The innovative music styles of both artists show that Trance and Progressive House do really mesh perfectly well with Bass. Click ‘Play’ below to stream ‘Like DAT’ from Andrew Bayer and Oliver Smith, two talented producers who have garnered millions of streams worldwide, gained support from various fellow artists and radio shows, and have vast amounts of fans who love seeing them perform on tours. In a significant court ruling, the iconic Space Ibiza trademark owned by Pepe Roselló has been annulled. The decision, made on June 28 by a commercial court in Valencia, sided with Fiesta Hotels & Resorts SL, owned by the Matutes family, over the disputed logo.
The Ruling and Its Implications
The court annulled Roselló’s 2008 Space Ibiza trademark due to its “nominative and graphic” similarity to the original Space Ibiza Dance logo, registered by Fiesta Hotels & Resorts SL in 1991. The court’s statement highlighted the phonetic and visual similarities, emphasizing that both logos are “practically identical” in elements like the star and the sphere. This similarity falls under Trademark Law (article 34-2-b), which prevents third parties from using similar signs that could confuse the public.
Immediate Repercussions
Following the ruling, Palladium Hotel Group, which owns Fiesta Hotels & Resorts SL, demanded the cessation of the Space Ibiza parties currently held at Eden nightclub. The decision also impacts other trademarks, including Space Dance Barcelona, Space Dance Madrid, Space Beach Club, and Space Club.
Palladium Group expressed their intent to hold their own Space parties using the logo. In response, Roselló stated that he respects the ruling but plans to appeal. He clarified that the decision only affects the Space Ibiza brand within Spain, not other international trademarks, including the new venue in Riccione, Italy.
A Long-Standing Legal Battle
This ruling is the latest in a long-running legal dispute between Roselló and the Matutes family. Roselló originally leased the venue from Matutes in 1989 and managed Space Ibiza until its closure in 2016. Post-closure, Roselló continued hosting events across Europe under the Space Ibiza name, while the original venue in Playa d’en Bossa was transformed into Hï Ibiza by Palladium Hotel Group’s Ushuaïa Entertainment.
Despite the closure of Space Ibiza in 2016, there have been persistent rumors about its reopening. In 2021, Roselló hinted at a new bar, restaurant, and club night in Ibiza’s San Antonio, continuing the legacy of the world-renowned club.
