Toto Chiavetta, in collaboration with Ella Dvornik’s Alterella project and Enya II, presents the comprehensive Bonton / Shadow EP.
Originally released a few years ago, both tracks are now being reintroduced by Siamese. The label brings both tunes into our sonic universe with renewed focus.
The ToMak Revision of Alterella’s “Bonton” was reworked by Toto Chiavetta with the support of the Sead Ajaz Ensemble. He recognized the track’s dancefloor potential despite its origins in the hip-hop and trap genres. Ella Dvornik, who created the original version, also contributed to this exciting revision.
The idea of transforming a hip-hop/trap track into a dancefloor-ready piece is fascinating in how different musical elements can be repurposed and recontextualized to create something entirely new while still honoring the original.
“Shadow (Tape One Remix)”, a remix by Toto Chiavetta of Enya II’s wonderfully eclectic original track, has quickly become a staple in Adriatique’s recent sets, as Toto skillfully adapted the track for the dancefloor.
The Chordial Remix of “Shadow”, another collaboration involving Toto with the assistance of Tarek Yamani, takes a different approach. This remix deconstructs the original with a dreamy yet infectious touch, perfect for special moments on the dancefloor.
Enjoy.

TroyBoi and Scrufizzer are on a mission to keep it moving, and their new single doesn't just demand attention—it grabs life by the horns.
The influential electronic music producer and London-based MC have joined forces for a high-energy track that pairs slick trap rhythms with the fiery cadence of UK grime. Titled "Keep It Moving," the single embodies its name through layers of minimalist production as Scrufizzer's spitfiring lyricism propels through.
At the foundation lies TroyBoi's signature touch: tip-toeing melodies that glide across booming 808s, snappy hi-hats and clacking tribal percussion. The arrangement is intentionally sparse, giving every element room to breathe while still delivering a hefty impact. This minimalist approach is where TroyBoi shines, allowing Scrufizzer’s commanding presence to dominate the spotlight.
With percussive elements that feel like they’ve been plucked from far-reaching corners of the world, their combined global influences only deepen the song’s allure, adding texture to its trap backbone. And just when you think Scrufizzer’s flow couldn’t be any sharper, TroyBoi manipulates his vocals, twisting and chopping them up like origami to add an extra layer of dynamism to the mix.
Together, the two artists have crafted a collaboration that feels both raw and refined, a seamless blend of grime's punch and trap's atmospheric tension. "Keep It Moving" is a reminder that when these two are behind the controls, there's no hitting pause.

The Chainsmokers and Kim Petras each have a way of turning chaos into bliss, and their new single "Don't Lie" is no exception.
As infectious as a late-summer breeze, carrying with it an irresistible hook that pulses with a six-syllable hum, "Don't Lie" arrives with all the promise of a hit in the making. Laying the foundation for a song that feels at once simple and deeply layered, its minimalist house rhythms are a showcase in the success of subtlety while its lyrics whisper of desire, connection and the heat of the moment.
Visually, the "Don't Lie" music video blends this sonic simplicity with a whirlwind of playful chaos. Petras emerges from a muddy puddle like a spirit of mischief, bringing a sense of carefree fun to The Chainsmokers' pop-up summer party. As they hop into a Jeep and take off with the top down, the rush of freedom is palpable.
However, their carefree joy ride takes a comical turn when a sudden storm sweeps through their event, flipping tents in the air and turning their party into a swirling frenzy. Still, in true Petras fashion, the storm can't touch their vibe. Dancing in the rain, they embrace the moment with an effortless grace, owning the chaos like it's all part of the plan.

Gero‘s latest album, “We Can Find Us Again,” is a mesmerizing journey through sound and emotion that defies easy categorization. This Athens-born artist has crafted a musical anthology that invites listeners to lose themselves in its depths. He offers a profound experience of introspection where sound becomes a narrative wormhole to both heart and mind.
So, what is this album all about? Let’s dive deep into it.
From the opening notes of “Evangelism,” it’s clear that this is no ordinary electronic music album. The track unfolds like a cinematic score, building anticipation with ethereal and mysterious elements. It then unleashes in a rolling, percussive rhythm that sets the stage for the odyssey to come.
As we delve deeper into the album, “Law of Attraction” emerges as a natural evolution of the opener. The cinematic backdrop remains, but the introduction of angelic vocals and choruses elevates the mystical atmosphere. It’s as if Gero is slowly peeling back layers of consciousness, revealing new dimensions of sound with each track.
The album takes a slight turn with “Final Church“. The record introduces more melodic techno elements while maintaining the underlying sense of mystery. The experimental touches, like the plucked arpeggio and dark bassline, showcase Gero’s willingness to push boundaries and blend genres seamlessly. This kind of artistic risk-taking keeps the listener engaged and wondering what sonic surprise might be waiting around the next corner.
“Can You Make The Ground Shake?” is a standout track that manages to go even deeper underground. The minimal synth theme, paired with strong piano lines and mysterious choruses, creates a tension that builds to energetic synth lines reminiscent of the melodic house current we all love. Yet, Gero resists the urge to break into full peak-time territory. He maintains the album’s slow-burning, mysterious vibe.
As we reach the midpoint of the album with “Voyageur,” the deep, dark ambiance is punctuated by soft piano harmonies and dreamy male vocals. The experimental, Afro-house-inspired percussive rhythm demonstrates Gero’s finger on the pulse of current trends while still maintaining his unique, dark techno sensibilities. It’s this fusion of styles that makes “We Can Find Us Again” feel both timely and timeless.
“Bohemian Grove” lives up to its intriguing title, centered around a catchy groove and percussive rhythm. The track is a playground of rhythmic and drum elements, all coalescing around a clean main theme. It’s here that Gero’s production skills really shine. He balances complexity with clarity in an impressive and immersive way.
The album’s turning point arrives with “Oniro & Fovos,” where angelic female vocals float above a soft, incredible main theme. This track marks the collision of deep, synth-driven elements with more cinematic sounds. Gero perfectly encapsulates the dual nature of the album – at once intimate and expansive.
As we enter the final third of the album, tracks like “Oblivion” and “Remember the Rain” continue to explore the interplay between catchy percussions and dreamy synths. “The Realm” leans more heavily into cinematic and atmospheric territory while maintaining the melodic techno and percussive backbone that defines the album’s sound.
“House of the Blue Leaves” shifts gears slightly, introducing a more progressive environment. On it, synth lines and atmospheric elements dance with rolling percussions.
The album’s denouement begins with “You’re Here Cause You’re Riding High“. This is a track that builds anticipation for the finale while exercising admirable restraint. This leads into “Burn For You,” which surprises with its hip-hop vocal introduction before morphing into an Afro-house-inspired melodic techno tune that feels both familiar and fresh.
Finally, “The Last Temptation” closes the album in grandiose fashion, synthesizing all the elements we’ve encountered throughout our journey into a monumental closing statement.
Why Gero’s We Can Find Us Again really stands out?
What strikes me most about “We Can Find Us Again” is its cohesiveness despite its genre-spanning breadth. Gero has managed to create an album that feels like a single, flowing piece of music while still allowing each track to stand on its own merits. The storytelling aspect is palpable – there’s a clear narrative arc from beginning to end, with each track representing a new chapter in the journey.
The production throughout is impeccable, with a clarity and depth that rewards repeated listens. Gero’s attention to detail is evident in every track.
While the album draws inspiration from various corners of the electronic music world – from the melodic techno sound to Afro-house rhythms – it never feels derivative. Instead, Gero has taken these influences and woven them into something uniquely his own. The result is an album that feels both familiar and groundbreaking, comfortable yet challenging.
As a listener, I found myself completely absorbed in the world Gero has created. The album’s ability to evoke emotion and spark introspection is remarkable. At times, I felt as if I was floating through space, while at others, I was grounded by primal rhythms and earthy textures. It’s rare to find an electronic music album that engages both the body and the mind so thoroughly.
“We Can Find Us Again” demands and rewards active listening, taking the audience on a journey that’s as much internal as it is auditory.

Above & Beyond feat. Richard Bedford – Heart Of Stone
Genre: Progressive Trance
And one day, it finally came out. And that day is today. Last week, we discussed the announcement Trance virtuosos Above & Beyond made on socials, that their long-awaited ‘Heart Of Stone‘ vocal piece was about to see an official release. Today, that’s due. And So we’re finally able to stream, stream and restream their first collaboration with Richard Bedford since *checks notes* ‘Bittersweet & Blue’ (!).
The vocal track, which features the iconic male voice of Trance — and arguably the most memorable pairing of Above & Beyond — is the next chapter of uncountable ventures of the four artists coming together. He’s the unmistakable voice behind countless A&B anthems such as ‘Sun & Moon’, ‘Thing Called Love’, and ‘Alone Tonight’.
Armin van Buuren & Hardwell – Follow The Light

Peak Dance music right here. And also top-notch collaborators. We’re talking about the conjoint effort of two masters at work, the legendary Trance act Armin van Buuren, and a man who flipped the entire scene on its head in 2013, Hardwell. Two undoubtedly iconic figures of the EDM sphere, they had an ID cooking for a while, and today it finally came out.
After nearly a decade, Armin and Robbert have joined forces once again for the highly anticipated ‘Follow The Light‘. The duo’s collaboration blends Armin’s signature euphoric Trance melodies with Hardwell’s cutting-edge Big Room Techno, creating a powerful festival anthem. Now, the duo reunite on their new single together as we see its release on the imprint that saw them grow so much.
‘4U’ combines both artists’ love for the UK Bass scene of the ‘90s and ‘00s. Fans state it brings a ‘Ghost Voices’ vibe to the track, bringing their signature Trance and Progressive styles to a modern era. Though it is not the original Anjunabeats sound, it could be something for the new wave.

Electronic music fans around the world are with excitement as two titans of the genre, Patrick Topping and Green Velvet, have joined forces to release a brand new single titled ‘Mad Motion‘. Known for their innovative sound and high-energy performances, both artists have garnered a loyal following over the years. The collaboration between these two powerhouses is a match made in music heaven, promising a track that is sure to set dance floors on fire.
Patrick Topping expressed his enthusiasm for the release, stating, “‘Voicemail’ was a landmark moment for both of us, so reuniting a decade later for ‘Mad Motion’ feels full-circle. We aimed to create something that not only references our original track but also showcases how we’ve grown as artists.”
Green Velvet added, “Patrick and I have always had great chemistry in the studio, and ‘Mad Motion’ is proof of that. This track channels the same energy as ‘Voicemail’ but with a fresh twist that I hope people are going to love. It’s all about evolving while staying true to the vibe people know us for. The crossover of Patrick’s unique sounds–or “toppings” as I like to call them–and the vocal elements are what makes this track really special.”
So, grab your headphones, turn up the volume, and get ready to dive into the electrifying sounds of Patrick Topping and Green Velvet as they unleash ‘Mad Motion’ upon the world.
About Patrick Topping
Ever since he joined Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations family early in his career, Patrick has proven himself both in the studio and on stage. Guided by Jamie, Patrick released his first EP in 2013 and rose through the ranks swiftly. He became a regular at Jamie’s Paradise parties at DC-10 and performed at other prestigious venues in Ibiza, Europe, and around the world. He has played at top clubs such as Fabric London, Warung Brazil, and Space Miami, as well as major festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, Awakenings, Ultra, and Tomorrowland. Patrick has been honored with three DJ Awards and one DJ Mag ‘Best of British’ Award. As a DJ, he keeps the energy levels high while showcasing a variety of musical styles.
In terms of production, Patrick has showcased his ability to create high-quality dance floor hits, with tracks like ‘Forget’ (2014 Ibiza Track Of The Season) and his collaboration with Chicago legend Green Velvet – ‘Voicemail’ (2014). His last original work with Hot Creations, the massive ‘Be Sharp Say Nowt’ (2017), achieved silver certification in the UK in 2021. Instead of following a specific formula, Patrick has chosen to explore different musical styles, demonstrating his diverse tastes through various releases and launching his label Trick in 2019 as a platform to present a broader representation of himself as an artist.
About Green Velvet
Green Velvet, also known as Cajmere, studied chemical engineering at the University of Illinois. In 1991, he returned to Chicago to pursue a career in house music production. He made a notable impact with his track ‘Coffee Pot’ and later founded Cajual Records and Relief Records. Under the alias Green Velvet, he released successful tracks like ‘Preacher Man’ and ‘Flash.” In 1999, he created ‘Constant Chaos,’ described as “folk music for the rave scene.”

Oscar L, a veteran of Beyer’s Drumcode imprint with Again EP (2023), and of Truesoul including solo EP Vulture (2022) and a collaboration with Dosem in the Aircargo EP earlier this year, now brings his revered Techno/Tech-House chops to this collaboration with Californian Max Styler, a Beyer stable up-and-comer, whose ‘Main Stage/Indie Dance’ blend of House with dark Euro vibes has soared in the last two years on Experts Only Records and Diynamic. ‘Addiction/Yapper’ is out now on Adam Beyer’s imprint Truesoul, listen here.
Of course, each track has a personality and a message to carry:
‘Addiction’: straight in with spoken vocal mantra/manifesto – ‘We’ve got an addiction…to rave life’ over a driving beat, rattling drums, dark basslines of teeth-tingling, juddering notes rich in reverb, echo and hoover FX, while in the long central breakdown, synth chords build like approaching sirens heralding the mighty drop. Compelling and compulsive dance fuel.

‘Yapper’: the fast, powerhouse beat, ominously growling bass and stabby melody of deep reverb paired with high keening synth are joined by a pitch-shifted distorted vocal staccato babble which is strangely hooky, bringing a more alien, other-worldly feel.

After hearing “Mad Motion” teased across multiple stages at last weekend’s Arc Music Festival, there was no way I could get this track out of my head. The infectious rhythm, playful vocals, and undeniable energy had festival-goers buzzing, and I found myself waiting in anticipation for its official release. Today, that wait is over. Patrick Topping and Green Velvet have finally dropped “Mad Motion,” and it’s every bit as captivating as it was live.

Patrick Topping, known for his infectious beats and groovy basslines, has solidified himself as one of the leading figures in modern house music. His collaborations with artists like Green Velvet have been instrumental in pushing the boundaries of the genre, and “Mad Motion” is no exception. Green Velvet, a legend in his own right, brings his signature blend of quirky vocals and techno-infused rhythms to the track, creating a synergy that can only be described as electric. Having previously worked together on universally sampled statement pieces like “Voicemail,” the duo continues to show their chemistry and understanding of the scene with this new release.

“Mad Motion” is a track designed for peak-time club sets. It’s built around a pulsating rhythm that gets under your skin from the moment the first beat drops. The lyrics echo the theme of movement and confidence, with a cheeky twist. Lines like “Clowning on the beat, HAHA-ing, body and my feet in motion” and “Their motion’s way too slow can’t hang with my tempo” emphasize the unstoppable energy the song aims to deliver.
The repetition of “Mad Motion” drives home the sense of kinetic energy, as the track pushes listeners to let loose on the dance floor. It’s a command to get up, move, and embrace the vibe, leaving all inhibitions behind.

The lyrics of “Mad Motion” are simple yet effective, weaving between a sense of fun and self-assuredness. “Don’t talk about it, be about it” is a motivational mantra embedded in the track, encouraging people to take action instead of just talking. The verses challenge people to break out of their comfort zones, exemplified by the line “Comfortably uncomfortable, where’s the outcry?”

The track seems to play with the idea of superiority in rhythm and energy, mocking those who can’t keep up with the fast-paced vibe while flexing an almost rebellious confidence. The final lines, “The greatest flex is when you wave bye-bye,” add a playful yet assertive ending to the track, making it a perfect blend of empowerment and fun.
The Conclusion: Another Resilient Club Hit
Patrick Topping and Green Velvet have once again proven why they are such a powerful duo in the world of house and techno. “Mad Motion” isn’t just a track—it’s an experience, combining high-energy beats with witty lyrics that make you want to hit the dance floor immediately. With its hypnotic basslines and irresistible groove, “Mad Motion” is poised to be a staple in club sets around the world.
If you’re looking for the next dance floor staple, “Mad Motion” is absolutely it. You can listen to the track on all major streaming platforms, out today.

Two icons came together to release a hotly-anticipated piece of music.
The track has already become a staple in both artists’ sets throughout 2024, and it could become one of the most-played records this season, now that it’s finally out.
‘Follow The Light’
You might remember ‘Off The Hook’, their first — and for years only — collaboration. While that track had an intense Hardwell vibe, this time the tables have flipped slightly, and ‘Follow The Light’ has a shiny Trance personality, in Big Room trousers. Not staying behind on any front, the record features singalong vocals to really make of this instance a memorable one.
Both Armin and Hardwell are renowned for their groundbreaking contributions to the Dance music scene. Armin, a five-time winner of the Top 100 DJs poll, is known for his genre-defining weekly radio show A State of Trance, while Hardwell, a former No. 1 DJ, is celebrated for his hit anthems and remixes. Their combined talents and influence have made them two of the most iconic figures in the industry.
