Charlotte de Witte and Amelie Lens two of the most prominent female techno DJs in the industry, sat down together at ADE 2024 to discuss their music careers. The conversation dove into the ups and downs they have faced. They also reflected on insights into the challenges of being women in a male-dominated industry and how they navigated through it.
Charlotte and Amelie have both faced comparisons and criticisms throughout their careers. Despite the challenges, they persevered and found success on their own terms, proving that they are more than capable of standing out on their own.
Challenges in the Industry
Charlotte opened up about the difficulties she has faced as a woman in the music industry, particularly in the male-dominated world of techno. She shared her experiences of encountering sexism and other derogatory comments on social media, which often made her question her place in the industry. Despite these challenges, Charlotte remained steadfast in her commitment to her craft, using her platform to advocate for gender equality and empowerment.
On the other hand, Amelie took a different approach to dealing with the pressures of the industry. Instead of focusing on social media and external opinions, she prioritized her personal life, including her family and music. By channeling her energy into her creativity and personal relationships, Amelie found a sense of balance and fulfillment that allowed her to stay true to herself amidst the noise of the industry.
Both Charlotte and Amelie emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself and not letting external influences dictate their paths. Their resilience and determination to carve out their own identities have been instrumental in their success, serving as a source of inspiration for aspiring artists navigating similar challenges in the industry.
The Power of Collaboration
Despite their past differences, Charlotte and Amelie’s collaboration at ADE 2024 was a powerful reminder of the magic that can happen when two talented artists come together. Their b2b show was a good fusion preview of their unique styles and energies, creating a dynamic and unforgettable experience for their fans. The chemistry between the two techno queens was palpable, showcasing their mutual respect and admiration for each other’s talents.
Through their collaboration, Charlotte and Amelie demonstrated the power of unity and solidarity in the music industry. By setting aside their past disagreements and focusing on their shared passion for music, they were able to create something truly special that resonated with their audience. Their performance served as a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and the beauty that can arise when artists come together in a spirit of creativity and mutual support.
As Charlotte and Amelie continue to inspire and empower others with their music, their journey serves as a reminder of the importance of staying true to oneself, embracing challenges, and finding strength in collaboration. Their story is a testament to the resilience and creativity of women in the music industry, paving the way for a more inclusive and diverse future for techno music.
The Big Show
Amelie Lens and Charlotte de Witte announce their grand return to the stage together at Flanders Expo in Ghent (Belgium). After weeks of teasing on social media and a hidden message during their shows, it is finally clear what the 2 DJs are up to. Legendary dance/electronic music icon Kaskade has teamed up with UK stars, drum-n-bass DJ/producer Wilkinson and dance-floor pop sensation vocalist Paige Cavell, in unleashing ‘Shine On’. This track is for sure a top banger for the autumn season, heading into the holidays. ‘Shine On’ is also a wonderful piece of music that allows the listeners to think of any special person in their lives who continues to affect and inspire them, even if the person is currently not present. The track perfectly utilizes the world-famous melodic house touch of Kaskade with the drum-n-bass repertoire of Wilkinson and dream vocals of Paige Cavell.
Generally, the genre of drum-n-bass tends to be very rapid, energetic and it also guarantees a swell time with one’s mates and like-minded individuals who love a cracking good time on the dance floor. However, ‘Shine On’ also shows that drum-n-bass can bring out sentimental emotions and memories about cherished people that have made a lot of impact on their beautiful lives. Click ‘Play’ on the Spotify link to listen to ‘Shine On’, a track that is a grand combination of the musical skillsets of Kaskade, Wilkinson, and Paige Cavell. The track will also motivate the listeners to also become a shining light for others around them as well, no matter which environment they are in.

When Rebecca Black first entered the spotlight as a teenager, her explosive rise to viral fame came with an overwhelming wave of attention—both positive and negative. Over a decade later, she has transformed that early experience into a platform for reinvention, proving she’s much more than a fleeting online sensation.
Now, she stands as an artist who has taken control of her own narrative. With the release of her latest single "TRUST!" and a performance at San Francisco's Portola Festival, she's stepping boldly into a new chapter.
We caught up with Black backstage to discuss her creative evolution, her love of DJing and how she's turning past challenges into fuel for her future.
From pop star to DJ: a multifaceted talent
While Black is well-known as a singer and performer, she's also been exploring DJing. Her recent Boiler Room debut showed that she can command attention on multiple platforms, despite its incendiary effect on social media.
When asked how she differentiates between these two personas, Black says, "As a performer, everything is planned, rehearsed. There’s a story, a character, and I know exactly what I'm doing from start to finish."
DJing, however, offers a refreshing change of pace.
"With DJing, I get to be flexible," she explains. "I started six years ago at a friend’s house because I loved reading a room, figuring out what works, and making it the best night for everyone there."
For Black, DJing is about creating an environment where spontaneity reigns.
"I might walk in with an idea of what I want to do, but the set always changes depending on the crowd," she explains. "It's less about the performance and more about riding the energy of the room."
Embracing vulnerability in "TRUST!"
The release of "TRUST!" marks a significant turning point in her career, showcasing not only her growth as a vocalist, but also her fearlessness in addressing vulnerability. For Black, releasing the track has been about more than just adding another hit to her repertoire—it's a form of personal release.
"I wrote ["TRUST!"] over a year ago," she says, her excitement palpable. "From the moment we wrote it, everyone felt it was something special."
"It feels like I've been carrying this huge weight," she adds. "The further you get from your last project, the more you feel like you're in this identity limbo."
Black has found a way to channel that uncertainty into confidence, using her music as a vehicle for self-expression and exploration. Her artistic evolution since the infamous "Friday" is clear, with her recent work drawing heavily from growth, resilience and a profound appreciation of dance music.
The camp and glam of "TRUST!"
Part of what makes "TRUST!" such a standout is its official music video, which takes place in a courtroom—a symbolic setting that mirrors Black’s own journey in the public eye.
"When I met with Olivia, the director, she brought up the idea of me being put on trial for going viral with 'Friday,'" Black reveals with a smile. "It was funny and so in line with the character I created for 'TRUST!'."
Filmed on a set that resembles an authentic California courthouse, the video is steeped in campy glamour and satire, a signature Black approach that blends humor with depth.
"I always loved the idea of glamorous girls in ugly, unglamorous settings," she explains, citing her references for the visuals—constantly on trial by the court of public opinion.
The idea of being on trial is deeply resonant for Black. She candidly discusses how her life has felt under constant scrutiny since "Friday" went viral.
"I don't know if I've ever known what it's like to not be on trial,” she admits. "But taking that and turning it into something fun, into something that gives me power, was really cathartic."
Looking ahead to a new chapter
At 27, Black has already lived many lifetimes in the public eye. Born and raised in Irvine, California, she was thrust into the limelight at the age of 13 when her debut single "Friday" exploded on the internet.
Though it was met with mixed reactions—ranging from viral fame to brutal criticism—Black has emerged on the other side stronger, more self-assured and artistically liberated.
Her latest album, Let Her Burn, released in February 2023, is a testament to that perseverance. The project represents Black's full embrace of her identity as both a queer artist and a pop icon.
"This album is the most 'me' thing I've ever made," she gushes.
Rebecca Black.Chloe Catajan
As Black continues to push boundaries both musical and personal, one thing is clear: she's far from the one-hit wonder many initially pegged her to be. Instead, she's diligently crafting a legacy built on resilience and authenticity, proving that the trials of public opinion can be transformed into something powerful, glamorous and, above all, fun.
"I've learned that taking myself the least seriously is sometimes the key to being taken seriously," Black says with a giggle. "And I’m okay with that."

Last weekend, Insomniac’s Escape Halloween took over the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA for another weekend of spine-chilling entertainment. From Friday-Saturday, the event center was transformed into a spooky paradise, filled with thousands of costumed attendees, carnival rides, cabaret performers, magicians, interactive experiences, and of course nonstop music from some of the top artists in EDM. Read on for an in-depth event review!
Top Sets
Ravers from across the nation flock to music festivals for one main reason: the music. Escape’s lineup this year was one of the best I’ve seen in years. Featuring headliners like AFROKI (Afrojack b2b Steve Aoki), Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, and Seven Lions, as well as a plethora of top-tier artists like Wooli, Nina Kraviz, Adventure Club, Ludacris, Fatboy Slim, and more, there’s no arguing Escape 2024 was one for the books.
Some of the standout sets of the weekend, for me, include Kream, the Norwegian DJ/producer duo who are hard to catch stateside, and deadmau5, who never fails to mesmerize with his one-of-a-kind sound and entertaining visuals. Another standout for me was Odd Mob, who has such a knack for keeping the crowd energized and engaged. Also, for the record I want to say I’ve never heard Odd Mob play anything other than house music. Toward the end of his set last weekend, he started throwing down some bass music, covering every genre in its wake. He played out one of his top house tracks, ‘Lose Control,’ followed by several short edits of the same track, including dubstep, drum & bass, and hardstyle. What genre can’t this man master?

All seasoned Escape attendees know the massive, animated main stage design that is The Grimm. The beloved skeleton has been the backdrop of artists like Kaskade, Above & Beyond, Tiësto, Timmy Trumpet, and more over the last five years. This year, Insomniac announced 2024 will be the last year for The Grimm. As sad as we are to see it go, we enjoyed its tenure and are excited to see what’s up next for the main stage!
This year saw the relocation of the Sewer District to the racetrack, the first time the racetrack has been utilized at Escape Halloween. I will admit, at first I was skeptical, having seen the racetrack in action at other Insomniac events at NOS like Beyond Wonderland, but the stage production at the Sewer District this year was impressive. The sound was crisp and safe from any sound bleed, and the stage design was next-level, with its visual screens, lighting, pyrotechnics, and overall theme. It was reminiscent of EDC’s Circuit Grounds, with its almost 180-degree immersive experience.
Sewer District. Photo owned and created by Jose Murga. Another change this year was the addition of a brand new stage, The Cauldron, to replace The Sanitarium. Boiler Room made its Escape debut this year, with a two-day takeover for the books.
Amenities
One of the best parts of Escape are the interactive experiences offered throughout the festival grounds each year. Crazy Town, home to the beloved flaming cathedral, The Butcher, and The Poison Ivy Bar, was present again, and was relocated to the center of the festival grounds this year, making it easy to get to as an epicenter for attendees.
Psycho Circus featured a circus tent hosting cabaret acts, magic shows, and other talented performers all weekend long, while the surrounding outside area was inhabited by mystics performing tarot readings, palm readings, and fortune telling. If all that wasn’t enough, festival attendees had a few different carnival rides to choose from and vendor booths to peruse, selling everything from food and drink to merch, clothing, and art. This year also saw the addition of Voodoo Ville, a neon lover’s heaven, filled with everything glow-in-the-dark, art installations, and of course, a DJ.
Voodoo Ville. Photo owned and created by Keiki-Lani Knudsen. Insomniac delivered yet another successful Halloween weekend at Escape this year, with the addition of a brand new stage, a larger festival footprint, and the return of the after parties. Already counting down the days until Escape 2025? You’re in luck – tickets are already on sale now! Head on over the the Escape website here to purchase.

The Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience is a joint venture between The Night League, the award winning nightlife and entertainment company behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, and Addmind Hospitality's Studio A, a leading Dubai hospitality group. They're now poised to flesh out the Dubai Harbour Experience with a series of events throughout winter 2024 and spring 2025.
Elsewhere in Dubai, the city's nightlife sector is flourishing, fueled by a spate of high-profile acquisitions and venue openings. The proprietors of the iconic Tomorrowland festival in 2022 opened a palatial desert resort, Terra Solis, which is billed as "a unique glamping experience in the Arabian Dunes." A year later, the Dubai-based hospitality titan FIVE acquired Pacha Group, one of Ibiza's most illustrious nightlife institutions, in a deal valued at $330 million.
The International Music Summit, one of the electronic music industry's most influential global conferences, is also expanding to Dubai. The gathering is annually in Ibiza but will now head to the Dubai's W Hotel - Mina Seyahi in November.

Kompany has been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, the DJ and producer revealed this week.
The disease, also referred to as chronic kidney failure, occurs when the kidneys gradually become damaged over time and can't properly manage their typical functions, like removing waste and normalizing blood pressure, per the National Kidney Foundation. Advanced cases can progress to end-stage kidney failure, which is fatal.
Kompany, whose real name is Kyle Hagberg, lamented the condition in a statement shared on his social media. The electronic music virtuoso, a gifted producer and universally revered sound designer in the dubstep scene, says the disease has "taken a pretty big toll" on both his physical and mental health, and he may need to slow down his touring efforts as he adjusts.
"I'm grateful to have an idea now what's been going on so I can do a better job of taking care of it, but adjusting to this new reality has been hard for me," Hagberg writes. "Music has always been my passion and my outlet, and while I'm still here creating and playing shows, I may need to slow down at times."

Despite the diagnosis, Kompany has had a big 2024, releasing six singles. The year has also seen him perform at Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre and the Amsterdam Dance Event, the world's leading electronic music summit, among other high-profile sets.
The DJ also urged fans to prioritize their health and get checked regularly. Early detection might help prevent kidney disease from progressing to kidney failure, per Mayo Clinic.
"Please, let my experience be a reminder: take care of yourselves," he added. "Get checked up, listen to your body, and don't ignore things that feel 'off.'"

The bass music titan Zomboy has officially dropped his highly anticipated ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 2’ EP through his label, Rott N’ Roll Records. After a stellar show at Red Rocks warming up for SLANDER and in the spooky month of October, Zomboy couldn’t have picked a better time. This release continues the story started in Pt. 1 of Dead Man Walking back in July 2022.
A Deep Dive into ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 2’
The EP begins with ‘Fallout,’ a track that gradually builds into a storm of mechanical synths and electrifying elements, setting an intense tone. ‘D.E.A.D.,’ featuring EDDIE, takes listeners on a cinematic journey with video-game-like breakdowns and aggressive basslines. ‘Project Z’ adds gritty synth drops and futuristic vibes, while ‘Delete Me’ channels punk energy through its bass-heavy production. The EP closes with ‘Inhumation,’ a symphonic piece that ends the journey with haunting melodies reminiscent of darker influences.
Zomboy’s Vision and Journey
Reflecting on the album, Zomboy shares:
His musical journey began as a drummer in rock and metal bands in England. A horendous car accident that ended with a settlement helped fund his home studio, paving the way for his transition to electronic music. Known for tracks like ‘Terror Squad’ and ‘Like A Bitch,’ he has over 750 million streams and is considered a pioneer in the dubstep scene. With ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 2’, Zomboy continues to expand his legacy in bass music. This EP is more than a release—it’s a demonstration of his commitment to the evolving dubstep scene.

Stream ‘Dead Man Walking Pt. 2’ now on all major platforms!

This is one approach to improving. Apple has recently challenged everybody in the world who thinks has enough coding knowledge, offering a bounty of up to $1 million for successfully hacking its servers, now strengthened with AI. The tech giant aims to improve its security posture by getting some outside help, blatantly asking participants to find their way inside their Private Cloud Compute (PCC) system.
The PCC server powers many of Apple’s AI-driven features, including those in iOS 18.1. Apple has released detailed technical documentation and even shared portions of the server’s source code to facilitate security research. Still, breaking in may not be an easy task. However, the rewards are many, and succulent.
The company has outlined a tiered reward system, with payouts ranging from $50,000 to $1 million, depending on the severity of the vulnerability discovered:
If you’re able to hit upon “accidental or unexpected data disclosure due to [a] deployment or configuration issue”, you’ll get $50,000. Moving up the chain, if you can “execute unattested code”, you’ll get $100,000. Gaining “access to a user’s request data or other sensitive information about the user outside the trust boundary” gets you $150,000, while access to sensitive information about the user’s requests outside the trust boundary gets $250,000. Finally, if a hacker is able to pull off “arbitrary execution of code without the user’s permission or knowledge with arbitrary entitlements”, they’ll be awarded $1,000,000. By incentivizing ethical hacking, Apple hopes to identify and address potential security risks before malicious actors can exploit them.

Google’s latest AI innovation, MusicFX DJ, is changing the game for DJs. This AI-powered tool lets users create and mix music live simply by typing in text prompts like ‘uplifting trance’ or ‘dark cinematic tech house.’ Instead of relying on existing tracks, the AI generates entirely new music in real time by adjusting sounds based on the text prompts. Google partnered with Grammy-winning musician Jacob Collier to refine the tool, making it more accessible and encouraging new forms of musical experimentation for a wider audience.
Developed by Google’s artificial intelligence research laboratory, Google DeepMind, MusicFX DJ aims to make music creation accessible to everyone, not just professional DJs. It’s a groundbreaking development, but it also raises questions about the future of music and the role of AI in creative processes. Some may argue that it could diminish the value of traditional DJ skills and the authenticity of live performances.
To address these concerns, Google has incorporated features typically reserved for experienced DJs, such as control over instruments, tempo, key, and overall mood. Users can collaborate with friends in real-time “jam sessions” and even download 60-second clips of their creations for sharing online.
MusicFX DJ builds on the success of Google’s previous AI music project, MusicLM, which generated music from text descriptions. By adding interactive elements and DJ-specific controls, MusicFX DJ takes AI-powered music creation to the next level.
You can find out more about MusicFX DJ here and watch Collier utilize the tool below.

KOR Protocol, an entertainment protocol that reshapes how intellectual property is managed, distributed, and monetised has announced that a team of globally acclaimed artists will join the blockchain and AI-powered protocol as advisors.
British recording artist and Grammy award-winner Imogen Heap, electronic music icons deadmau5, Richie Hawtin, and Disclosure, and master of multimedia experiences Dixon, whose Transmoderna art collective is known for its immersive live-shows, will help oversee the direction of the protocol and advice on supporting artists, musicians, filmmakers, and developers in protecting their creations and engaging directly with their audiences.
Global recorded music revenues rose 10.2% in 2023 to $28.6 billion led by online streaming services, marking the ninth year of consecutive growth for the music industry. Yet despite the undeniable profits made by global megastars like Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran, the majority of artists struggle to make a living from their music alone. According to a survey by Xposure Music, just 11% of independent artists earn income solely through their music. A major issue is the low pay-out rates, which can be as little as $0.004 to $0.008 per stream. Additionally, streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music keep a significant portion of the revenue, with record labels also taking hefty cuts, leaving artists with a small portion of the pie.
KOR Protocol addresses this imbalance, changing how intellectual property is managed, distributed, and monetized, enabling artists and creators to receive fair pay for their work and engage directly with their fans and communities. Offering a unique infrastructure for creators with a range of AI-powered tools and applications, artists can easily create interactive experiences and release into new products that resonate with global fan communities. Adding such highly regarded world-renowned artists as advisors underscores KOR Protocol’s commitment to empowering creators with next-generation technology—and the best possible direction from leaders in their respective fields.
Heap is passionate about creating a decentralized database where songs act as services, giving direct access to all their details. Through her various initiatives, including Creative Passport and Auracles and collaborations with platforms such as KOR, she aims to open new opportunities and revenue streams for music makers, driving innovation in the industry. Electronic music icons deadmau5 and Richie Hawtin, known for their forward-thinking approaches to music and tech, have also previously explored the intersection of music, digital IP, and blockchain, cementing their advisory roles to help drive innovative content creation and fan engagement strategies.
Disclosure’s deep connection to remix culture will further help develop KOR’s vision of an ecosystem where artists can co-create and remix content without traditional limitations, reinforcing the platform’s mission to make the creation and management of music IP transparent, collaborative, and fair, and Dixon and his collective Transmoderna will be a leading guide on pushing the boundaries of immersive multimedia experiences, exploring the possibilities that arise from merging electronic music with transmedia art.
Inder Phull, Creator of KOR Protocol commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Imogen Heap, Dixon, Transmoderna, deadmau5, Richie Hawtin, and Disclosure to KOR Protocol as advisors. This visionary team of artists are not only leaders in their fields but are passionate about creating new immersive experiences and fair compensation for artists. Under their expert guidance, KOR Protocol can provide the next generation of entertainment ecosystems for creators and fans alike.”
Richie Hawtin commented, “Collaborating with such visionary artists under the KOR Protocol is a pivotal step in reshaping the creative landscape. Each of us is driven by the goal to change how music and art can be created, shared, and owned. With KOR Protocol’s network, technology and transparent, ethical AI, we’re building a future where artists and creators have unparalleled freedom and control over their work.”
In addition to these artists, Ben Turner, co-founder of the International Music Summit and Association for Electronic Music, and Dean Wilson, CEO of Seven20 and manager of deadmau5, will join the protocol as partners and advisors. Their extensive experience in the music and entertainment industries will help guide KOR Protocol’s development as a comprehensive platform for managing, distributing, and monetizing intellectual property.
PIXELYNX, the first developer behind KOR Protocol was acquired by Animoca Brands, leaders in the web3 and entertainment space. From IP registration, licensing, and royalty tracking to decentralized interactive content creation, KOR Protocol enables artists, developers, and fans to collaborate seamlessly shifting the paradigm of traditional IP management. Following a select fan and festival screening this year, Trafalgar Releasing will show the 4K remastered version of Daft Punk & Leiji Matsumoto’s 2003 anime masterpiece Interstella 5555 in cinemas worldwide one night only on December 12, 2024.
Says Trafalgar Releasing CEO Marc Allenby:
Daft Punk and Cédric Hervet developed Interstella 5555, The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem in association with Leiji Matsumoto and Toei Animation.
It chronicles the kidnapping of an alien music band by an evil human figure with sinister intentions. Interstella, which essentially functions as an anime visual album, has the whole 2001 Discovery album by Daft Punk on its soundtrack, featuring classic songs like “One More Time,” “Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger,” and “Veridis Quo.”
Says producer of the movie, Toei Animation’s Shinji Shimizu:
The movie was split up into separate music videos as a visual album, and until this year it was somewhat rare to watch the whole movie on screens.
Discovery: Interstella 5555 Edition
Discovery: Interstella 5555 Edition will be launched in limited tangible numbers to commemorate this worldwide occasion. Original Japanese edition artwork, stickers and Daft Club card—which became a genuine collectors’ item upon initial publication—will all be included in this physical edition of Discovery.
Five 555 gold vinyl, five 555 numbered CDs, and 25,000 black vinyl will be the limited release items. Get them here.
Along with this unique music re-release and movie screening comes a limited-edition merch run including the cartoon band Interstella 5555: The 5tory, centered on the Crescendolls.
Originally featured extensively in Discovery’s social content over the summer, “Veridis Quo” is now heard in a worldwide Chanel N°5 advertising campaign headed by Luca Guadagnino and featuring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi.
From Maluma, G-Dragon, and Jazmine Sullivan to live sets from DJs such as John Summit, the track has also been extensively sampled in music from all around the world since its original release.

Riding high on the success of his viral hit ‘Ascend’, which continues to make waves in the dance music scene, Dezko has just dropped his latest single, ‘Kiss U’. A brilliant new addition to his ever growing catalog, this release marks yet another milestone for the rising star. To celebrate, we had the chance to sit down with Dezko to dive into ‘Ascend’, the pressures of following up on that breakout hit, the thrill of performing his own tracks live, and much more.
1. Hey Dezko, thanks for taking the time to chat with us, how are you doing today?
I’m feeling amazing! I’m gearing up for my next show and working on some new tracks that I’m really excited about.
2. Let’s kick things off with your viral hit Ascend. What’s it been like watching that single blow up?
It’s honestly such an honor to see people vibing with my music. Ascend has pushed me to work even harder and keep going bigger—it’s been a huge motivator for me.
3. When you were creating it, did you think it would be such a massive hit, or was the success a surprise?
I was studying psychology before I went all-in on music. I knew if I focused on it 100%, I could make something happen, so I took the leap and left school. I was hoping Ascend would do well, but I didn’t expect it to blow up like it did—it was definitely a surprise!
4. After it took off, did you feel any pressure to follow up with another hit, or did the next tracks just come naturally?
Honestly, being heard has always kept me motivated, so after Ascend, I just felt more inspired to keep going. Making music is what I love most, and I’m finding new connections with it every day.
5. You’ve put out a lot of tracks since then, each with that unique Dezko sound. How important is it for you to have your own style as a producer?
Having a recognizable sound is really important to me. It’s amazing when people can hear a track and know it’s mine. And I think there’s still so much to explore with that sound and beyond.
6. What advice would you give to people just starting their journey in music production?
It’s a long road, but if you’re committed to learning and practicing, it’s all worth it. The key is to enjoy every moment and stay open to what the art has to teach you.
7. Let’s talk about your new single, Kiss U. How has it felt to see people responding so positively to it?
Kiss U has been getting a lot of love, both online and in my live shows. It’s awesome to see people connecting with it in such a cool way.
8. You just had a massive set at Tomorrowland Brasil. How was that?
That was unreal! The whole experience was like a dream, and the crowd went all-out during my set. It was such an amazing vibe, and honestly, I’d love to relive every second of it. Brazil really brought the energy.
9. What’s it like to step on stage and play your music for a crowd that knows your stuff?
It’s the best feeling ever! Every time I get on stage, it feels surreal. Seeing people react to my songs is something I’ll never get tired of—it’s pure happiness.
10. Which artists influence you the most as a DJ and producer?
Avicii is hands-down my biggest inspiration. I love how he could make you feel so much with his music. His melodies really hit me, and he’s always been a huge influence.
11. If you could collaborate with anyone, who would it be—in and outside of dance music?
I’d love to work with DJs like Camelphat, Vintage Culture, and Rüfüs Du Sol. And outside of that, someone with a super unique voice like Billie Eilish would be amazing.
12. Thanks for taking the time to chat! Is there anything else you want to say to our readers?
Just a huge thank you! I’ve got some new songs coming up that give me the same vibes as my early singles, and there are more shows happening in places like Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, and Chile. It’s gonna be an end-of-year packed with surprises!
