Twelve years ago, on November 26, 2012, Hardwell released Apollo, a track that became more than just a milestone in his career—it transformed into a beacon of resilience for fans across the globe. Beyond its powerful beats and soaring melodies, Apollo tells a story of survival, gratitude, and connection that remains as moving today as it was the day it was released.
From the opening lines, “Just one day in life, so I can understand,” Amba Shepherd’s vocals draw you into a narrative of struggle and triumph. The lyric “Fighting just to survive, but you taught me I can” captures a deeply human emotion: the quiet strength we find when someone believes in us. In a world often overshadowed by challenges, Apollo serves as a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we are capable of finding light.
What sets Apollo apart is how Hardwell’s production complements, rather than overshadows, the message. The drop is powerful, but it doesn’t feel like a punctuation mark; it’s a continuation of the story. When the beat kicks in, it’s as if the music itself is lifting the listener out of the struggle described in the lyrics and into a place of hope. The repeating chorus, “We are the lucky ones,” transforms into a mantra, urging us to find gratitude even in the smallest moments.
Released on the heels of his breakout hit Spaceman, Apollo marked a new chapter for Hardwell. It showcased his ability to craft music that wasn’t just electrifying but also deeply meaningful. While Spaceman catapulted Hardwell to stardom, Apollo proved he was more than a producer of big-room anthems. It was his way of connecting with listeners on a personal level.
Twelve years later, the track’s legacy lives on. Whether you first heard it at a festival, on the radio, or through a friend’s playlist, Apollo likely left its mark. It reminds us of the golden era of progressive house while still feeling timeless. The energy it brought to stages around the world, from Tomorrowland to Ultra Music Festival, is matched only by the intimate moments it created for individual listeners.
As we celebrate 12 years of Apollo, it’s worth reflecting on what makes it so enduring. It’s more than just the melodies or the production; it’s the feeling it gives you. It’s the reminder that music has the power to lift us up, bring us together, and remind us that, even in tough times, we are the lucky ones.
Hardwell’s Apollo isn’t just 12 years old—it’s timeless.

‘Overdose of Bass’ EP is here, a power-packed techno two-tracker enriched by diverse elements. This first Adam Beyer x Eli Brown collaborative release has been feverishly anticipated by fans keeping tabs on their growing friendship. The pair’s first official B2B at Lisbon’s Brunch Electronik in September further added to the excitement. It sees the light of day today, 22nd of November, on Beyer’s Drumcode. This also marks Eli Brown’s welcome return to the label after his massive collaboration this January ‘When I Push’ with Layton Giordani and OFFAIAH. It follows Brown’s 2022 EP ‘Deep Down’. The EP ‘Overdose of Bass’ combines recent developments and past influences of both techno giants.
Overdose of Bass
‘Overdose of Bass’: the title track has rattling snares and a breaksy beat. It ushers in a spoken vocal layering different levels of processing, for a half sensual, half robotic riff – ‘there it goes/ overdose/of bass’. It combines with the doppler siren builds, giving a spacey, mysterious call and response. Could be classified as hypnotic, disturbing and edgy.
Living In The Moment
‘Living In The Moment’: an urgent techno beat, a Moroder-esque bass synth, and a recurrent riff like a signal. It becomes ever more high and desperate. It is counterpointed by an ethereal, quavering, sweet female vocal, strengthened by the melodic build in the huge central breakdown. Urgent, demanding, hyper, this is dancefloor heaven.

Adam Beyer’s revered status as a producer, DJ and leading label head of Drumcode and Truesoul is unquestionable. His outstanding contribution to electronic music, via his own releases across his pioneering 30+ year career, and his seminal electronic imprints which have launched many upcoming talents as well as spotlighting global superstars has made him a household name. With his productions, the Swedish powerhouse still consistently pushes boundaries, especially in his recent EP ‘Don’t Go’, after solo EP ‘Ghost Kiss’ and his massive debut Vintage Culture collaboration. Experimenting with techno enhanced by melodic elements, vocal processing/vocoders and creative use of samples from world cultures, the dynamic producer keeps on evolving and surprising his legions of fans.
Master producer and veritable phenomenon Eli Brown is a sonic force in a category of his own. Boasting a career that spans over two decades since bursting onto the scene in 2016, the techno powerhouse’s brooding sound and visceral energy have catapulted him from the UK’s underground to global icon status at meteoritic pace. This collaborative track arrives hot on the heels of a massive year for the DJ/producer/record label head, following a steady stream of chart topping releases to etching his name in history as the first techno artist to perform at the iconic Rockefeller Center, and launching his streetwear label – 92 Thing.
Adam Beyer x Eli Brown ‘Overdose of Bass’ drops November 22nd on Drumcode. Save it here.

Tantok reinvents Lucky Choice’s original track with his signature style from deep house to dark techno,

In this reimagined take on Cocaine, Tantok retains the essence of the original while amplifying its energy with a driving force. Crafted for peak moments at festivals and club events, the remix runs at a blistering 129 BPM, offering fans a compelling techno experience. About this remix, Tantok shares:

“The bass synth and kick are the groundbeat, but the piano during the chorus is what gives the track its flavor.”
Listen here: Spotify
Tantok has established himself as a significant presence in the electronic music scene, known for his innovative DJ sets and house- and techno-driven releases. His performances include international festivals like the Amsterdam Dance Event and Ibiza’s International Music Summit, as well as sold-out shows across Denver. His recent tracks, including Meant to Me featuring Rebecca Hartt, showcase his ability to experiment while staying true to his current focus on house and techno.
Lucky Choice, the artist behind the original Cocaine, is celebrated for creating deep, atmospheric house tracks that resonate on dance floors worldwide. A core member of Reva Records, he collaborates with both emerging and established artists to explore fresh interpretations of his work. The original track’s dark, layered sound provided a solid foundation for Tantok’s energetic, techno-forward remix.
Tantok’s remix of Cocaine takes the track to bold new heights, delivering an intense listening experience that appeals to both house and techno enthusiasts. Released by Taras Revansh’s (aka Lucky Choice’s) Reva Records, the remix is now available on Spotify and other streaming platforms.

Tantok is also developing his label and working on several new releases, including a track under his publishing deal with Sirup Music and an upcoming release with Natura Viva. For updates, fans can connect with Tantok via Instagram @tantokhouse or visit his official website tantokmusic.com.

SiriusXM, a household name in satellite radio and streaming, has found itself in hot water with the New York Attorney General (NY AG). In a recent announcement, the NY AG accused SiriusXM of violating consumer protection laws by implementing an illegal and deliberately complex cancellation process. This marks a significant moment in the broader conversation about consumer rights in the digital age.
According to the allegations, SiriusXM has been engaging in predatory tactics to retain subscribers against their will. Customers reportedly faced numerous hurdles when attempting to cancel their subscriptions, including misleading information, excessive wait times, and unclear or convoluted instructions. These practices have been described by the NY AG as deceptive and unlawful, creating frustration among subscribers who wish to opt out.
The timing of this controversy is particularly critical, as subscription-based services dominate the entertainment landscape. From music streaming platforms to video-on-demand services, the industry relies on recurring payments for sustainability. However, many companies are now under scrutiny for designing opaque processes to discourage cancellations, effectively trapping users in their subscriptions.
SiriusXM, known for its exclusive content that appeals to electronic music fans and beyond, has been a go-to platform for curated DJ sets, artist radio shows, and live performances. Yet, the backlash from this legal action may encourage listeners to reconsider their loyalty. Alternative platforms offering transparent policies and user-friendly experiences may become more attractive options.
In response to the allegations, SiriusXM has stated it is reviewing the claims but has not yet issued a detailed rebuttal. If proven guilty, the company could face hefty fines and a mandate to overhaul its subscription and cancellation processes. This case has the potential to set a significant precedent for how subscription-based services operate across all sectors, not just entertainment.
For the electronic music community, this development shines a light on the importance of holding companies accountable for fair practices. As listeners rely on these platforms for access to exclusive content, ethical business practices are non-negotiable. The NY AG’s crackdown serves as a reminder that consumer rights must be respected, even in an increasingly subscription-driven economy.
Check out the full statement here.

London-based, tech-house DJ and producer PAWSA has announced his biggest UK headline performance to date with PAWSA In The Park – All Day Long, a huge outdoor show happening at London’s Gunnersbury Park on Friday 8 August 2025, with more acts to be announced.
Sign up here for pre-sale access by 12PM on Tuesday 26 November. Pre-sales begin at 10AM on Wednesday 27 November. Tickets go on general sale at 10AM on Friday 29 November via www.ticketmaster.co.uk.

A name that has emerged to become one of the scene’s most-loved DJs and producers, PAWSA remains an individual whose passion and focus remains solely on the music. An artist forever in the ascendancy, the Solid Grooves Records co-founder continues to deliver a never-ending arsenal of curated, dancefloor-ready cuts of his unmistakable sound. His signature sound – inventive tech house with an old-school vibe – is decisively made for the dancefloor, and as a DJ, he lays down carefully curated and dynamic sets spanning genres, decades, and styles.

More recently his unique approach has been celebrated, gracing the cover of DJ Mag, featuring in their Alternative Top 100 DJ’s list and winning Best Producer in their Best of British Awards. Add to the mix numerous Beatport #1’s, sold out dates across the world, and Solid Grooves’ esteemed Ibiza residencies going strong since 2016, it’s easy to see why he’s a name that stands apart from the rest.

Last week PAWSA released the viral sensation ‘Dirty Cash (Money Talks)’, a reworking of the Adventures of Stevie V classic, which will be a certified crowd pleaser when the DJ takes to the stage at Gunnersbury Park next summer.

West London’s Gunnersbury Park has become established as one of the capital’s favourite outdoor venues and will play host to a series of day shows offering an eclectic mix of music genres in August 2025 with more brilliant shows still to be announced.

In a move to reinvigorate the UK nightclub scene, internationally acclaimed DJ and producer James Hype takes action to preserve the culture that shaped his career. Known for dominating global stages, James Hype recently reflected on his roots in nightclubs and the impact they’ve had on his journey, sharing a deeply personal Instagram post that resonated with fans and industry peers alike.
“When I was 16, I got a fake ID and started going to nightclubs. By 18, I was DJing in clubs, and for the next 10 years, they gave me the best musical education and life experience ever,” James wrote. However, he also highlighted a stark reality: since 2020, a staggering number of nightclubs have closed. “Me and my manager found that 90% of the clubs I played at in 2020 no longer exist. That hit me hard.”
Determined to give back to the community that helped shape him, James Hype and his team embarked on an ambitious UK tour. Focusing on smaller venues and cities most in need of support, the initiative was a bold effort to breathe life into struggling local nightlife scenes and inspire others in the industry to follow suit.
Key Highlights of the Tour
Affordable Tickets: Priced at just £11, the shows were designed to be accessible to as many fans as possible. Top-Tier Production: A 14-person crew delivered high-quality shows, including production and media, entirely free for the venues. Nonstop Performances: The team traveled via tour bus, performing in a different city each night for a week. Viral Content: High-energy performances captured on video quickly gained traction online, sparking a renewed conversation about the future of nightlife. While James acknowledges that the tour alone cannot “save the nightclub scene,” he believes it proves that artists have the power to drive meaningful change. “We showed that artists can have an impact. Who’s next?” he asked, leaving an open challenge to his peers.
James Hype’s initiative demonstrates the transformative power of community-driven action. As a leading voice in electronic music, he continues to inspire DJs, fans, and industry professionals to protect and nurture the spaces that foster creativity, connection, and cultural innovation. His efforts serve as a powerful reminder that revitalizing nightlife is not just about music—it’s about preserving the soul of a community.

German electronic producer Fejká marks the first release of his brand-new label imprint, “Coexist,” with “Maara” on November 15th.
Complementing with an amazing self-directed live-performance video, his melodic and atmospheric characteristic style sets off a fresh trip combining organic components, ambient techno, and deep house into a very ethereal sound.
Featuring the audiovisual polymath performing the song live on a cliff of Gran Canaria with all his instruments, the video signals only the beginning of a larger new chapter and highlights his artistic ability in an amazing context.

Maara captures the core of the young Coexist imprint, a label Fejká characterizes by the limitless dichotomy within his music: calm and reflective by day, then bursting with vitality and dynamism by nightfall. Within “Maara,” a mesmerizing plucked melody blends with a powerful bassline, while ethereal piano layers and fractured voice chops progressively give its rhythmic basis life.
The core of the piece blossoms in the break section, where angelic strings combine delicate beauty with wild, strong energy—a rare and amazing event on the dancefloor.
“Maara” was born following the success of his second studio album Hiraeth when Fejká chose to stop his demanding tour schedule. Seeking comfort in the calm Pacific island of Gran Canaria, where he sank himself into reflection and creativity, he was escaping the terrible German winter. Surrounded by stunning natural settings, “Maara” sets the start of a new chapter with a taste of the ethereal melodies he developed from the island’s pure surroundings.

Premiered on his own radio show, ‘GOOD TIMES ONLY’, which is now syndicated on over 50 stations, ‘Someone Else’ received an overwhelming response from fans who couldn’t wait for its official release. There’s something uniquely unforgettable about starting the New Year with Martin Garrix. His sets aren’t just music—they’re a journey, a shared experience that stays with you long after the lights go down. For me, it started back in 2018 at Knock Knock Festival, where Martin headlined the countdown. As the fireworks burst in sync with High on Life and the crowd sang, “From the ground up, we’ll touch the sky,” it felt like the perfect way to welcome new beginnings. That night wasn’t just a party—it was magic.
Fast forward to 2024, and Martin is set to headline another unforgettable New Year’s Eve, this time at Neon Countdown in Bangkok. It’s not just any performance; it’s a celebration of his incredible year, marked by his triumphant return to the #1 spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100. For fans around the globe, this is the dream: to ring in the New Year with an artist whose music is synonymous with hope, energy, and connection.
The Neon Countdown Experience
Neon Countdown is more than just a festival—it’s an international hub for EDM lovers. Picture neon lights reflecting off a sea of smiling faces, fans from every corner of the world united by their shared love of music. This isn’t just about the beats; it’s about the connections you make in the crowd, the unspoken camaraderie as you dance shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers who feel like friends. And for those looking to level up their experience, the VVIP Skydeck offers a stunning view of the main stage, premium perks, and an intimate party atmosphere that takes the night to another level.
Martin’s Music: The Soundtrack of the Night
What makes Martin Garrix’s sets so special is how they turn music into a collective memory. Tracks like High on Life and No Sleep have become anthems of togetherness. As you sing along to “I don’t need no sleep, ‘cause I’m already dreaming,” the line takes on new meaning in the glow of the stage lights. It’s a reminder that some nights—like New Year’s Eve at Neon Countdown—are too good to waste on sleep.
And then there’s Higher Ground, a track that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of a Martin Garrix countdown: “You said I’m gonna be alright. As the dawn breaks, the sunlight.” It’s the kind of lyric that hits differently when you’re surrounded by thousands of people, all ready to start fresh and climb to their own higher ground in the year ahead.
A Celebration of Martin’s Milestones
This year is particularly special, as we not only get to celebrate the New Year but also Martin’s recent achievements. With fresh tracks like Smile and Told You So, he continues to prove why he’s at the top of his game. From headlining the biggest festivals to releasing tracks that consistently dominate the charts, Martin Garrix isn’t just an artist—he’s a phenomenon.
Your Invitation to an Unforgettable Night
As the clock strikes midnight, Martin’s music will become the soundtrack to one of the most memorable nights of your life. His beats, combined with Neon Countdown’s breathtaking production and the shared energy of the crowd, make for an experience you’ll carry with you long after the final track fades.
So why settle for an ordinary New Year’s Eve? Join us at Neon Countdown and witness the magic of Martin Garrix live. Tickets are selling fast, and this is your chance to be part of a night where music, connection, and celebration collide.
Get your tickets now, and let’s start 2024 on the highest note possible!

Coachella has revealed the DJs performing in its storied Yuma Tent in 2025.
A sanctuary for techno and house music enthusiasts, the Yuma Tent is a place where time bends and the desert sun is forgotten. Its air-conditioned space offers a reprieve from the sweltering heat, but its warehouse-inspired atmosphere—complete with whiplashing strobes and lasers—won't make you sweat any less.
Taking the stage in the Yuma next year are Amelie Lens, Vintage Culture, Beltran, Chris Stussy, Damian Lazarus, Eli Brown, Infected Mushroom, Layton Giordani and Tinlicker, among other influential producers. The lineup also features Afro-house breakout AMÉMÉ and techno superstar Indira Paganotto, each of whom were named to the EDM.com Class of 2023.
Elsewhere on the Coachella 2025 lineup, fans of the famed Indio festival can find a wellspring of electronic music talent. That includes Zedd, Above & Beyond, Kraftwerk, Keinemusik, Ben Böhmer, Chase & Status, Sara Landry and The Prodigy, among many others.
You can find a list of every electronic artist on Coachella's 2025 lineup here and check out the festival's full Yuma Tent lineup below.

For underground electronic music aficionados, the Yuma Tent has long been a lighthouse amid the great expanse of Coachella’s musical terrain. The top dance music venue in the desert for 2025 has exceeded itself, assembling a roster that reads like a who’s-who of modern electronic music culture, so bridging the gap between seasoned veterans and emerging stars of the worldwide scene.
The Yuma Tent at Coachella 2025 lineup features electronic music artists including Amelie Lens, Vintage Culture, Infected Mushroom, Pete Tong x Ahmed Spins, Mind Against x Massano, AMÉMÉ, Damian Lazarus, HAAi, Indira Paganotto, Moon Boots, Tinlicker, Coco & Breezy, Chris Stussy, Yulia Niko, Klangkuenstler, and more, representing various electronic music subgenres from techno to house.

Techno Titans on Yuma 2025 lineup
Belgian dynamo Amelie Lens is leading the fight; her explosive climb from underground favorite to global techno ambassador is just amazing. Known for her mesmerizing, high-energy shows and heading the powerful EXHALE label, Lens’s presence signals the Yuma Tent’s dedication to real, uncompromising techno.
Spanish superstar Indira Paganotto joins the lineup. She brings her own mix of acid-tinged techno and trance influences. Thanks to her recent releases on Nina Kraviz’s Tpikney label and spectacular appearances at big European events, she is among the most fascinating emerging voices in techno.
Brazil phenomena Vintage Culture dominates the house music scene, having developed from South American club favorite to worldwide sensation. His unique combination of melodic techno and progressive house has won him a devoted audience and many chart top hits.
Through performers like AMÉMÉ, whose African-influenced works have given the genre new vitality, the roster highlights the variety within house music. Coco & Breezy show the ongoing cross-pollination between fashion, culture, and electronic music while also having effectively moved from making eyeglasses for Prince to commanding dancefloors all around.
Dutch pair Tinlicker and Moon Boots provides a perfect counterweight to the harder-edged performers for those looking for more emotional, melodic sounds. While Moon Boots provides his own mix of soulful house and nu-disco, Tinlicker‘s progressive house productions on Anjunadeep have become mainstay in sets all over.
Combining the former’s knowledge of mesmerizing, emotive techno with the latter’s fresh viewpoint on melodic house and techno, Mind Against and Massano promises to be a standout in joint performance.
Electronic music statesman Pete Tong‘s participation alongside Ahmed Spins marks the ideal fusion of old and modern school. Combining Ahmed’s fresh viewpoint with Tong’s decades of experience as BBC Radio 1’s top tastemaker guarantees a session spanning generations of dance music.
Including Infected Mushroom gives the lineup an intriguing new angle. The renowned reputation of the Israeli pair in psychedelic trance and their later explorations with rock and electronic fusion forms highlight the Yuma Tent’s readiness to challenge accepted genre limits.
The roster also highlights a lot of underground scene acts creating waves. While Klangkuenstler‘s raw, explosive techno has established him a darling in European clubs, Chris Stussy’s deep, groove-laden house has gained him growing respect. Yulia Niko’s nuanced interpretation of minimal house and techno highlights the ongoing life force of these genres.
Yuma Tent Coachella 2025 lineup Cultural convergence
Most importantly, this roster reflects the genuinely worldwide character of modern electronic music. From African-influenced house (AMÉMÉ) to European techno (Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto), American house music (Moon Boots) to Brazilian bass culture (Vintage Culture), the Yuma Tent has compiled a roster that shows how powerfully electronic music can transcend geographical and cultural boundaries.
Looking ahead
The Yuma Tent is ready to provide festival attendees with a thorough survey of modern electronic music’s most fascinating voices as Coachella 2025 draws near. This carefully chosen lineup provides both an appreciation of the scene’s past and an intriguing insight into its future in a time when electronic music is still developing and cross-pollinating at a dizzying rate.
To those who know, Coachella’s best-kept secret has always been the Yuma Tent. With this lineup, that secret could at last be revealed, and electronic music lovers all across should celebrate.
