Getter will no longer make music under his original moniker, he revealed this week.
The decision came to light in a candid Q&A session via the Instagram page of Terror Reid, the hip-hop alias of the renowned DJ and producer. When a fan asked if he has plans to make music as Getter in the future, he replied flatly: "NO."
After years of releasing heavy-hitting dubstep hits, Getter in 2018 released Visceral, which proved to be a watershed moment in his career. The stunning album found him embracing a more introspective, brooding sound as he pursued artistic growth and developed an ambitious tour.

But the album's reception told a different story. The deeply personal project was met with callous backlash from fans who rejected his artistic pivot, which led to overwhelming online criticism and alienation from his core audience. Getter, whose real name is Tanner Petulla, ultimately cancelled the remainder of the tour in 2019.
"Imagine working toward something, putting in all your effort, time and money into something that you feel could FINALLY separate you from the rest and show you DO have purpose," Petulla wrote at the time. "All to just get yelled at, booed and have shit thrown at you because it’s not the cookie-cutter bullshit they are used to. Criticism is healthy. My friend and I frequently critique each other’s work and it helps the final product. However, the constant hate and the disgusting attitudes I’m faced with are destroying me."
Even before the "Visceral Tour," however, Petulla became disillusioned with electronic dance music and the schadenfreude of its community. Back in 2017, he asserted in a tweet that he was "leaving," citing depression.
In response to these challenges, he found refuge in his hip-hop alter ego, Terror Reid. That project, he said in this week's Q&A session, has allowed him to connect with a more receptive community that appreciates his evolving artistic vision.
"Scene is more real and it's a lot more fulfilling knowing people replay my shit," Petulla wrote. "Makes working hard a lot more worthwhile."

Label: R&S
Release name: Cyan II
Release Date: 17/01/2025
Following the success of his singles “TAGIOG” and “White Teeth”, Quicche returns with ‘CYAN II’, marking his third release on the legendary R&S Records. The enchanting track paves the way for his forthcoming debut album, set to arrive in spring 2025.
Drawing influences from experimental indie, folktronica, shoegaze, and ambient music, through “Cyan II”. This lead single will further solidify his place as an emerging force in the new wave of alternate and electronica music scenes.
Marc Grünhäuser, the musician behind the project effortlessly combines gentle folk melodies with the driving energy of electronic elements. He aptly creates an emotionally charged fusion of avant-garde meets pop music that is both experimental and accessible simultaneously. Refreshing, deeply engaging, and steadily cultivating a loyal fanbase.
Cyan II reflects the electro and RnB sound of the mid 2000’s, channeling the energy of artists such as James Blake, who influenced Quicche in the making of the track and a driving inspiration to work with R&S.

Quicche Comments “Cyan II is about a classic: unrequited love. For me, the repeated line “She’s all I know” reflects the feeling of absoluteness that you experience in such relationships which usually keeps you captive for some time.”
From being awarded at the prestigious popNRW ceremony to collaborating with multiple theatres and dance companies over the years, Grünhäuser has evolved into a forward thinking, evolutionary artist.
The merging of this exceptional talent and iconic label lays the ground for a stream of exciting releases ahead. “Cyan II” will be available on R&S Records from 17/01/25, promising to be a standout release for Quicche.

“Illusive Thoughts,” the new collaboration between Alexion and JD Farrell on VANDIT Alternative, is a masterclass in tension and release. The track builds from shadowy saw waves and rolling midbass into moments of pure euphoria, with hypnotic vocals threading through the mix like smoke.
These two Southeast producers – Alexion with his cinematic flair and Farrell bringing that ’90s-inspired progressive energy – have found something special here. The driving rhythm section keeps things moving while atmospheric breaks provide room to breathe, creating the kind of dynamic range that works as well at 2AM as it does at sunset.
Landing on Paul van Dyk’s imprint feels right for a track that bridges underground and mainstage sensibilities. Between Alexion’s recent cosigns from Martin Garrix and Alok, and Farrell’s outings on Nora en Pure’s Purified Records, these Atlanta natives are proving you don’t need a Berlin address to craft proper melodic techno.

Future Joy’s journey is as unconventional as their sound. Started by saxophonist Zach Simms in 2018 before finding its final form when Emily Cooper joined in 2019, the duo has literally driven their way into dance music’s consciousness with their mobile RV stage, splitting time between Denver’s mile-high scene and St. Petersburg’s coastal vibes.
Their latest track “Just Breathe,” a collaboration with UnderLux, showcases their unique position in electronic music. What began as UnderLux’s driving tech house foundation evolved with Cooper’s vocals and Simms’ multi-saxophone arsenal. The serendipitous lyrics about breathing and freedom found their perfect visual expression when the duo headlined TSK Festival at Skydive The Ranch, leading to a music video shoot that saw them taking their saxophone to 12,000 feet.
Between support slots for The Polish Ambassador and BoomBox, and appearances at Hulaween and Elements Festival, Future Joy’s mobile stage setup has allowed them to bring their genre-bending sound (they touch everything from house to dubstep to jazz) to crowds across the country. “Just Breathe” captures this freewheeling spirit – both on the ground and, now, in the air.

Bursting onto scene with her debut single ‘What It Feels Like’ alongside Lumez and THRILLION, TASCHA has been riding a massive wave of momentum ever since and she has made this debut year a special one. That single went on to gain over a quarter of a million streams as she quickly followed up on it with another collab with Lumez called ‘Hopeless’. Now they unite again on the brand new single ‘Silent Whisper’.
While her previous releases offered a smooth, sultry listening experience, ‘Silent Whisper’ takes a bold new direction, delivering electrifying mainstage energy. The track opens with an atmospheric breakdown that perfectly complements TASCHA‘s captivating vocals. The lyrics, inspired by the movie Angels and Demons, serve up the perspective of Camerlengo Patrick McKenna, the primary antagonist. His character, driven by deep conviction and inner turmoil, wrestles with profound ethical dilemmas and a desire to control his destiny. “Through ‘Silent Whisper’, we sought to capture the complexity of his emotions and the intensity of his internal conflict.” said TASCHA. Her voice builds a palpable tension that leads into a powerful drop, blending techno-influenced synths with a pulsating bassline designed to shake sound systems and energize dance floors.
With three standout tracks under her belt, TASCHA continues to prove her ability to innovate and captivate. Her vocals deliver in a major way, leaving fans eagerly anticipating what’s next.
TASCHA, a singer-songwriter originally from Germany, has called the U.S. home for a decade. Raised in a musically diverse household, TASCHA‘s foundation was shaped by her father’s extensive CD collection, nurturing an appreciation for various genres such as; Classical, RnB, Rock, Disco, Jazz, Hip Hop, Blues and electronica early in her childhood. This laid the groundwork for her refusal of musical constraints and showcased her versatility as a songwriter and performer.
In 2013 TASCHA and her family relocated to Los Angeles, where she spent the next eight years immersing herself in songwriting and top-lining for R&B ballads, building meaningful connections with producers. While in LA, she maintained ties to her German roots, frequently collaborating on her music. A trip to Berlin in 2021 marked a pivotal moment, inspiring her first EDM track and fueling a passion for Deep house and melodic techno.
Accepted to Berklee College of Music in the same year, TASCHA expanded her knowledge and skills, evolving beyond ballads to delve into electronic production. After Berklee, TASCHA moved to Miami where she now is collaborating with a diverse array of producers keeping her focus on synth-driven and RnB productions as well as toplining and writing for other artists.

Tiësto x Lucas & Steve – Free Your Mind
Tiësto teams up once again with Lucas & Steve for ‘Free Your Mind,’ a vibrant progressive house track filled with uplifting melodies and euphoric drops. With its infectious vocal hooks and polished production, the track delivers feel-good vibes and dance floor energy, showcasing the perfect fusion of both artists’ signature styles.
Armin van Buuren & Natalie Gioia – Viva l’Opera
Armin van Buuren teams up with Natalie Gioia for ‘Viva l’Opera,’ a stunning blend of classical opera and high-energy trance. Featuring Gioia’s soaring operatic vocals paired with Armin’s driving beats and electrifying melodies, the track is a bold and theatrical addition to his repertoire, ideal for both fans of trance and classical-inspired sounds.

12 years ago, Feed Me's "One Click Headshot" detonated in the ears of a burgeoning generation of electronic music fans.
Featured in Feed Me's Escape From Electric Mountain EP, the track was a frenetic ode to virtual supremacy fueled by its iconic gamer’s monologue—lifted from the viral "FPS Doug" meme that immortalized the pulse-pounding adrenaline of first-person shooters.
This complextro masterpiece has now gotten a respawn, reimagined by a new generation of genre-bending producers in an audacious 10-track remix pack that hits harder than a triple kill.
"I’ve brought together a group of insanely talented producers I truly admire to reimagine 'One Click Headshot' on Sotto Voce," Feed Me said in a statement. "This track has a lot of history for me—I still remember the crazy two-day, no-sleep session when I first created it! Hearing it now through the lens of so many brilliant minds has been such a cool experience. Each rework brings something totally fresh and unique, and I couldn’t be more proud of the result. I can’t wait for you to hear these new versions and experience the journey all over again with me."

If the original "One Click Headshot" hinted at the impending marriage of gaming culture and electronic music in any capacity, this remix EP cements it like a leaderboard engraved in virtual marble. From the staccato synth barrages of Grafix's drum & bass overhaul to Shadient's dubstep rendition that slinks with calculated precision, the remixes inject a fresh sense of urgency into the DNA of Feed Me’s original.
Meanwhile, EDDIE takes no prisoners in his remix, producing a relentless volley of hammering kicks and rapid-fire synths. But the real wildcard is Eater's remix, a surreal take that feels like wandering into an entirely different level of the game. Embracing otherworldly trap inspiration and incorporating a left-field Squidward Tentacles sample, it’s a glitch in the matrix that somehow fits the controlled chaos of the broader EP.

It's been 15 years since deadmau5 released Strobe," but it remains beloved as one of the most enduring dance anthems in the genre's history.
With its smooth arpeggios, sweeping crescendos and an unmistakable emotional resonance, the track has transcended dancefloors to become a cornerstone of electronic music culture. As mau5trap releases a slate of new official remixes by Victor Ruiz, OddKidOut and Layton Giordani, the legacy of the track is once again redefined for a new era.
Ruiz’s remix captures the heart-pounding tension and release of "Strobe," channeling its celestial warmth to transform it into a powerful techno anthem. OddKidOut, on the other hand, takes a bolder, more adventurous approach, embracing a frenetic burst of breakbeat that fractures the track's serene beginnings into a high-energy deluge of rhythm and texture.
Meanwhile, Giordani’s take, released earlier this fall, offers a sleek reinterpretation for the house music aficionado, extracting the ethereal undertow of "Strobe" while layering smooth pluck synths over a lounge-inspired cadence.
Together, the collection of tracks serves as both a celebration and a continuation of the "Strobe" journey for a new generation of electronic music listeners. Listen to each below and find the EP on streaming platforms here.

Tinashe's viral song "Nasty" just got an even naughtier makeover, thanks to Borgore and Whales.
The Israeli producers teamed up to put their own spin on the hit track, which blew up on TikTok this year and remains an incredibly popular meme. Their remix electrifies Tinashe's vocals and gives new meaning to the word "Nasty" with its filthy dubstep drops.
In tried-and-true Borgore fashion, heavy-hitting production elements clash and collide to harken back to his "Gorestep" days. Together with Whales, he's delivered a massive remix to ignite any festival dancefloor, its instantly recognizable lyrics giving way to an unpredictably spicy drop.

Camping World Stadium in Orlando, where EDC Orlando takes place each year, is undergoing a significant expansion over the next few years. This upgrade includes 18,000 new seats, a 360-degree concourse, and a 100,000-square-foot indoor event center. These changes aim to improve the fan experience and make the stadium more suitable for larger events. Essentially, the plan is to make the stadium symmetrical, add an upper bowl with a concourse to walk around the entire stadium from the upper level, and give it the look and abilities of an NFL stadium.
Key Upgrades
The stadium will increase its seating capacity by 18,000. This expansion will allow more fans to attend major events. Additionally, the 360-degree concourse will improve the flow of visitors. Fans will enjoy easier access to food, beverages, and amenities. A new 100,000-square-foot indoor event center will host a variety of events. This space is versatile and perfect for shows, trade shows, and most importantly, EDC Orlando. (:

These upgrades are set to elevate the stadium as a top choice for both sports and entertainment events. With these modernized facilities, Camping World Stadium will be better equipped to handle Orlando’s growing event scene.
List of Improvements
Maximize seating mix and functionality of the Stadium, to maintain existing events and attract new events (achieve 65,000 total seats for sporting events vs 63,000 existing seats) Improvements to upper seating bowls to increase life-span. Elevate fan experience from Stadium campus entry to departure. Modernize and improve stadium systems. Maximize flexibility of the Stadium and Campus for a variety of events. Multipurpose Indoor Event Center (100,000 sq ft) for attracting new events. Other Improvements to enhance the venue’s competitiveness EDC Orlando @ Camping World Stadium
This approval comes in the wake of Pasquale Rotella announcing that EDC Orlando 2025 would have an expanded footprint. Does that have anything to do with this approval? We have no idea at this point, but we can be sure the construction will impact at least one edition of EDC Orlando, if not several.
Camping World Stadium is a key venue for Orlando music events. One of the most notable in our world of dance is EDC Orlando, a major EDM festival. Certainly, the festival attracts thousands of dance fans each year. It features world-renowned DJs and stunning stage performances. The expanded stadium will make EDC Orlando even more exciting. More space and improved facilities will provide a better experience for all attendees. The work is expected to begin at the end of 2025 or during 2026 with expected completion in 2027.
Once the upgrades are done, we could see a future where EDC incorporates the inside of the stadium for a stage, incorporates the new 100,000 sq ft events center, or allows people to walk through the stadium to get from one side to the other. The possibilities are endless!

The upgrades are a perfect fit for events like EDC Orlando. They will ensure that Camping World Stadium continues to lead the way in hosting Orlando’s largest music festivals. You can check out future events here but if you want to skip the time and pull the trigger on a EDCO ticket, go here!

Every TAFARI WORLD piece is a statement designed with intention, offering an invitation to step into a world that celebrates creative freedom, individuality, and connection to something deeper. TAFARI WORLD is as much about the artistry behind it as it is about the clothes themselves. The brainchild of Tyler Beejan Adibi, TAFARI WORLD is the physical manifestation of his own artistic evolution. Moreover, it represent his commitment to craftsmanship and a relentless pursuit of individuality. TAFARI’s approach to fashion has been driven by an insatiable need to create something truly authentic in a traditionally trend-dominated market from the onset.
Before TAFARI WORLD, TAFARI’s work existed as bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces crafted for friends and cultural tastemakers including the likes of Diplo, Dillon Francis, and Manuel Turizo. His early designs—psychedelic prints, tie-dye, and tribal patterns—were infused with personal meaning and energy. To TAFARI, each garment was more than just fashion; it was a work of art, a tangible expression of the world he felt around him. This philosophy would soon capture the attention of DJ and producer HUGEL, whose own creative vision and personal passions aligned seamlessly with TAFARI’s ethos.
Together, they forged a powerful, unified vision for TAFARI WORLD. In effect, they transformed it from a niche, artisanal label into a dynamic force reshaping contemporary fashion. With HUGEL’s strategic insight and creative edge, the brand is set to break boundaries. Moreover, it blends uncompromising artistry, deep authenticity, and bold innovation to redefine streetwear on its own terms. Revered as the instigator of the Latin House movement with his hit ‘Morenita’, HUGEL has earned global recognition for his category-blurring, sultry compositions that command movement.
HUGEL
Drawing inspiration from his Mediterranean upbringing and time spent in the Balearic Islands and Ibiza, HUGEL masterfully blends Latin, Oriental, and tribal rhythms. This allows him to create a distinct sound uniquely in a category of its own. Since bursting onto the scene in 2015, the serial chart-topper has amassed an international following. This includes over 1 Billion cumulative streams for his widely adored releases ranging from ‘Marianela (Que Pasa)’ and ‘Morenita’. to his recent viral hit in collaboration with Topic and Arash – ‘I ADORE YOU’ (feat. DAECOLM). The Latin House producer has also landed collaborations with electronic music heavyweights such as Diplo, Marshmello and J.Balvin. This has furtherly solidified his position as a major player in the dance music space. TAFARI WORLD is here!

TATE SEDAR ensures to cite his progressive house origins in ‘Coming Home (I. M.U)‘ (standing for ‘I Miss You’) – a euphoric, festival-style single melding homesick female vocals with his newer ‘post-EDM’ sound (EDM of the past and present mixed with electroacoustic sounds). This track echoes his beginnings in electro and progressive house as well as a journey for identity and sounds and sights of his home San Francisco, clearly evident in the artwork.
Rewind to 2023 – and TATE was between a rock and a hard place. With the largest number of commercial shows in his career that year and little to no time in the studio, he faced lingering questions: when would he get back in the DAW and what constituted as his ‘sound?’ Artists mature as people do, and TATE was no longer a näive Bay Area kid commercialized by ‘golden age EDM.’ Moving to Los Angeles five years ago allowed him to work in nightlife, traverse the commercial & underground worlds of music and educated himself in the infectious genre markets of electronic and pop within LA’s musical DNA.
Along the way, unbeknownst sounds and pipe dreams were what finally led TATE to his homemade signature [sound]. Although already infatuated with bass and future house, he became engrossed with the eclectic sounds of garage music and modern dancepop. And while learning the lay of the land in LA’s house and techno landscape, he eventually was graced with major shows from Insomniac Events and acquaintances with some of his muses: Wolfgang Gartner, Deniz Koyu and Dubvision. A rare session in that summer of ‘23 led TATE to the chord progression that eventually became “Coming Home.” However – even with the start of catchy vocal chops and an endearing guitar hook, there was nothing quite there to anchor it.
In what ultimately became a turning point for TATE after that year, he saw value in inspiration both old and new. He found nuance in both analog instrumentation and emulation in dance music – citing the album Illusion of Depth (2020) by Mat Zo as a source – and realized that both the non-electronic music (R&B, rock and hip-hop) as well as progressive sounds of his personal development could be a collective beacon for his creativity. In searching for a press shots, Angelino Heights – one of the first neighborhoods in LA with Victorian and Edwardian homes like those in SF – instantly came to his mind. He felt that it was the perfect analogy of how he finds his home both in music and his surroundings. To add to this notion, he comments:
It was finally with a third vocal take and incorporation of post-EDM elements – bells, piano, strings and mandolins – that the chord progression of ‘Coming Home’ came alive and began to germinate in production. The progression always reminded him of the running hills and drives with houses of old and new architecture within San Francisco as well as some nostalgia – leading to that large 80s-like chord stab before the second build. ‘Emotions (ft. PSCYHEDELIC)’ was his first experiment in post-EDM, but ‘Coming Home’ and its vocal tied a new sense of authorship to his post-EDM sound: one that could incorporate the progressive styles of his mentors into its definition and part of himself & his home in its results.
Once again, TATE cements identity in more than just vivid production with another jubilant and radio-welcoming soundscape throughout ‘Coming Home (I.M.U).’ San Francisco has always been his north star, and although he began his journey into post-EDM this year with another track of his birthplace’s namesake, his new single elaborates on his passion of The City by The Bay and an ongoing voyage of his sound.
