A true representative of Future Rave in Brazil, the São Paulo-born DEADLINE brings a unique sound, which combines the energy of the Mainstage Future Rave with elements of the underground scene, well illustrated by his remix of “Shout” by Tears for Fears with the hitmaker DJ Antoine. Recently, Thiago, the name behind the project, got a lot of support from the Future Rave godfather, David Guetta. The French superstar has been playing many tracks from DEADLINE in his sets during the Hï Ibiza nights and festivals around the European summer, such as Creamfields.
Although the project started in 2014, Thiago’s history with music started early, following his father footsteps who was an open-format DJ in the 2000s. With a five-year career, DEADLINE started to dedicate himself 100% to music with his first EP ” The Light”, made in partnership with Pontifexx and with support from Vintage Culture and Kryder, in addition to releases by Hardwell’s Revealed.
Today, the DJ and producer is one of the Brazilian artists with the highest number of international support, with the list growing during the European summer 2022 season. He was selected as Hype Of The Week by none other than Armin van Buuren, and featured the top #7 on the Top 41 Producers of Brazil Climax Play.
For Thiago, debuting at Laroc was a dream come true: “I remember that I went to the club for the first time in 2016, and at the time I was still working outside of the music industry. I was wondering how could I get to that stage, so seeing this materialize is very gratifying and important for my project. It was epic to play at #9 club in the world. I was able to play a set with a lot of energy and with the best of Future Rave, incorporating Techno and Melodic Techno instruments”, he says.
