Out now on Seven Lions’ Ophelia imprint, “Hate This Kind of Love” is the perfect blend of melodic bass, progressive house, and of course, vocals that will make you feel some kind of way.
Featuring soaring progressive melodies, “Hate This Kind of Love” is a gut-wrencher of a song about a mildly toxic relationship that you just can’t seem to break free from. Just because someone hurt you, doesn’t mean you’re ready to say goodbye to them; seems to be the general sentiment of the song. When HOLT repeats “I hope you hate being lonely too” you can feel the pang in the lyrics.
