  • Crankdat’s newest single “Move Back” with Savage is a surefire festival anthem

Crankdat is one of the few producers who truly never misses. His newest track “Move Back” with Savage is reminiscent of the festival hit by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs W&W, “Crowd Control,” at least as far as giving instructions to the crowd goes. Beyond that, it’s a devastating bass house banger.

“The demo of this song was originally titled “Ride the Bull,” because to me it sounded like some Spanish Mariachi Matador stuff. I’ve loved “Swing” and “Freaks” for a long time, so I was all about working with Savage.” – Crankdat

Not onto does it have the makings of a true festival anthem, the vocal instructions are also catchy as hell, as simple as they are. After his sets, you’ll be chanting “to the left! to the left! to the right! to the right!” just because it’s so fun. You’ve probably already heard him play this at many of his sets these past few months.

This month will see Crankdat close out his first headline run in three years, ‘Return of the Crank,’ hitting over 28 cities and selling out shows including his home state stop at Skully’s Music-Diner in Columbus, OH. Last year, he opened for Steve Aoki at Amnesia, played to a packed crowd at Avalon in LA, and made his Tomorrowland debut. In 2023, he’ll make his Ultra Music Festival debut in Miami, return to Tomorrowland, play at Project GLOW Festival in DC, and announce more live performances.
