Known as a “producer’s producer,” South African artist CHEE has proven a highly skilled level of production and attention to detail has earned him the respect of many in the production and sample culture scene. He recently released a remix (“Temper”) on IMANU’s UNFOLD Remixes LP earlier this month and just about anything he touches seems to take the electronic music community by storm.

Now, he’s back with a thrilling 5 track EP via Deadbeats titled ‘Polarities’ that sonically speaking, lives up to the name. It ranges from ethereal world bass sounds to strait up bass / dubstep bangers. The tracklist includes “The Wisp Song”, “Act Like You Know”, “Spangled”, “Rusty Nickels”, and “Hold It”. “Rusty Nickels” was released as the EP’s first single, garnering strong praise from fans and fellow producers and amassing 183k streams to date.

Check it out below and make sure to catch CHEE if he’s coming to a city near you!
