As one of the most influential names in hard techno, Verknipt has consistently shaped the trajectory of the global electronic music scene. Today, the pioneering Dutch brand announces its next major evolution: Pulse—a dedicated platform for the fastest, hardest, and most forward-thinking sounds on the electronic spectrum. To mark this milestone, Pulse hit the ground running, debuting with two blistering shows at Later aan Zee in Bloemendaal, Netherlands on May 11 and September 7, and a very own stage hosting at Verknipt Festival on June 7 and 8. Pre-sale tickets for the very first event will be available on March 11.
Pulse will serve as both a standalone event series and an integrated stage concept, creating a dedicated space for the most cutting-edge artists pushing beyond the limits. As Verknipt continues to expand, Pulse ensures that new sounds and rising talent remain at the core of the brand’s vision.
“We have always embraced the future of hard dance music, and Pulse is the next natural step,” says Mer Hajbarati, co-founder of Verknipt. “Hard techno became a global movement, and we’re beyond proud to have been a pioneering force. The hard dance landscape is evolving—styles are emerging, fresh artists are breaking through, and the sound continues to evolve. Pulse is our commitment to leading this next wave, creating new spaces for innovation while maintaining the energy and intensity that define Verknipt.”
Experience Verknipt presents Pulse:
Because no boundaries exist in music. From the echoes of the past, a new sound is born. This is our new rhythm. A fusion of hard groove, trance, rave, eurodance, bounce, hard house, and everything in between. Uniting rising talents with the established ones.
In the heart of the music, we find each other. An intimate event where rhythm connects us. No distractions—just the here and now. Freedom to move, to feel and to lose yourself in the sound.
Pulse’s highly anticipated launch is on May 11, where a powerhouse lineup will take over the beachside Later aan Zee for a colorful sunset showdown.

About Verknipt
Established in 2012 in the Netherlands, Verknipt has spent over a decade cultivating its reputation in the dance music industry. Initially focusing on techno and house music, Verknipt later evolved into a trailblazer in the hard techno events space. By embracing a new sound and employing an exceptional social media strategy, Verknipt swiftly ascended to the forefront of one of the industry’s fastest-growing genres.
Since 2020, Verknipt has witnessed a consistent increase in visitor numbers, reaching an impressive peak of 155.000 in 2023, with expectations of nearly doubling in 2024. The organisation has hosted numerous events in its native Netherlands and beyond, including flagship events such as Verknipt Festival and Verknipt AFAS, as well as monumental events during Amsterdam Dance Event over the years. In July 2024, Verknipt ArenA marked the world’s largest hard techno event to date with approximately 40.000 visitors.
In alignment with its exponential growth, Verknipt is expanding its footprint internationally, venturing into countries such as Spain, Colombia, Germany, Poland, and Hungary, amongst others. Verknipt’s global impact is another testament to the movement the organisation has managed to create. In under four years, Verknipt has managed to expand across borders and even continents, reaching tens of thousands of international fans.
But, Verknipt isn’t stopping there. With the launch of Verknipt Records, the organisation aims to expand the reach of hard techno even further, filling a crucial gap in the genre’s record label landscape by offering an extensive platform for emerging artists.
