8 years of improvement and leading festival culture

Originally a label-oriented satellite event for the esteemed Sónar Festival, what started in 2017 has evolved into an electronic music celebration of legends. OFFSonar marks a major turning point this year: it moves from its conventional four-day schedule to an unheard-of six-day celebration, therefore indicating its increasing cultural relevance.

OFFSonar is tucked away among the famous Poble Espanyol, an outdoor architectural museum, and provides an amazing setting for musical inventiveness. Imagine world-class electronic performances set against sunlight courtyards, cobblestone streets, and magnificent city views—a setting that transforms every musical moment into a multi-sensory experience.

The Lineup: From RÜFÜS DU SOL to Elrow’s Carnival Spectacle

The 2025 program boasts a lineup that reads like a who’s who of electronic music. Here’s what’s confirmed so far:

• June 10-11: Grammy-winning trio RÜFÜS DU SOL kick off OFFSónar with two sold-out opening concerts at Plaza Mayor. Their “Inhale/Exhale” live show marks the start of their European tour.
• June 12: Adriatique Present X takes over all stages with a yet-to-be-revealed roster of cutting-edge melodic techno acts.
• June 13: UK’s tech-house powerhouse Solid Grooves curates an electrifying evening of signature sounds.
• June 14: Afrohouse pioneers &ME and Adam Port headline Plaza Mayor, while FUSE label founder Enzo Siragusa curates high-energy sets on the remaining stages.
• June 15: The festival closes with a bang as the extravagant party brand Elrow brings its carnival-like theatrics and infectious house and techno vibes to Poble Espanyol.

Sónar Week Highlights: Beyond OFFSónar

Of course, OFFSonar is only one component of Sónar Week. Along with inventive bands like Arca, Overmono, and Sega Bodega, Sónar Festival’s headlining concerts this year feature giants such as Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Eric Prydz, and Plastikman. Another level of excitement comes from working with Printworks London and BOILER ROOM. The Sónar+D program explores the junction of music, technology, and invention in parallel.
