Legendary artists and emerging talents in the electronic music world abound on Time Warp‘s “Two Days | Two Celebrations” edition on October 25–26, 2024, when it returns to Mannheim.
Given such a wide range of artists, it may not be easy to choose the must-see events. But from our experience, we are here to guide you with our list of the five musicians you really must not miss at this year’s Time Warp festival.
&Me and Rampa
Starting our list is the much-awaited face-off between two major Keinemusik collective members, &ME and Rampa. This back-to-back set looks to be a master class in deep, melodic house, techno, and, of course, a bit of afro-house.
The ability of &ME to create expressive, groove-driven songs complements Rampa’s strong rhythms and percussion skills.
Combining organic components with electronic beats in a way that has come to define the Keinemusik sound, their cooperative energy is likely to provide a magnetic environment on the dancefloor.
Charlotte de Witte b2b Enrico Sangiuliano
Among the highlights of the festival is Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano’s back-to-back set. Both artists are well-known for their mesmerizing techno and combined intensity will produce an amazing experience.
De Witte’s evocative build-ups combined with Sangiuliano’s thundering rhythms will probably provide an exciting and exactly balanced performance.
Miss Monique
Miss Monique from Ukraine has become among the most interesting names in progressive and melodic techno very fast. Her sets are renowned for their trip-like feel. She fuses mesmerizing rhythms and uplifting melodies with pounding basslines.
Together with her flawless track selection, Miss Monique’s ability to craft a narrative via her music promises to transport Time Warp participants on an enchanted musical trip.
Her performance, as a relative newbie to the Time Warp stage, is not to be missed since it presents an original viewpoint on the music of the festival.
Reinier Zonneveld (live)
In the techno scene, Reinier Zonneveld‘s live performances have become fable. It’s quite amazing how quickly he could produce throbbing, high-energy techno utilizing a range of hardware synthesizers and drum machines.
Offering festival-goers an opportunity to see the creative process in real-time, Zonneveld’s show on Saturday promises to be a masterclass in live electronic music production.
Indira Paganotto
Rising sensation Indira Paganotto is one of the fresh waves of techno musicians sweeping over the scene.
At big events and venues all around, her hard-hitting, trance-influenced techno has been turning heads.
Paganotto’s set at Time Warp is probably a high-octane affair that highlights why she’s regarded as one of the most intriguing fresh electronic music stars.
