Iconic GRAMMY-nominated, multi-platinum electronic supergroup Swedish House Mafia returns with the release of their new single, ‘Wait So Long,’ via SUPERHUMAN. The trio debuted the track at their surprise pop-up performance in Stockholm earlier this week, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the release ever since. The single ushers in an exciting new 3.0 era for Swedish House Mafia.

‘Wait So Long’

‘Wait So Long’ marks the first Swedish House Mafia release on SUPERHUMAN, their newly launched label. SUPERHUMAN is a multidisciplinary creative hub and platform for boundary-pushing artists of the future. This summer, the group will make their return to Tomorrowland and Creamfields, bringing an all-new energy to their live sets.

Last year, the group released their single, ‘Finally’ with Alicia Keys, a reworked version of Kings of Tomorrow’s timeless song. They also released ‘Lioness,’ which they originally began teasing during their historic six-week Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency. Swedish House Mafia celebrated the release of ‘Lioness’ during their exclusive, one-night-only show at the Brooklyn Mirage last April. Last fall, they performed at Will Ferrell’s “Ultimate DJ House Party” at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, IL, for a concert in support of “Cancer For College.”

Swedish House Mafia

Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia—Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso—quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision. The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella’s main stage (2012).

Their singles ‘Save the World’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as “redefining rave culture,” and NMEcalled them “the rockstars of the dance music world.”Their record-breaking One Last Tour concluded with a five-year hiatus, followed by their surprise return as headliners of Ultra Music Festival’s 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album.

In 2025, they launched SUPERHUMAN—their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso’s first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.

Swedish House Mafia continues to operate with full focus on records, on stage, and through their label. With new music, new projects, and global shows ahead, this is 3.0.
