Sherm is back with a brand-new EP called “Activate Reality,” which came out June 21 on Hood Politics and features his good friend and popular Canadian artist Stund.
Sherm and Stund show off their studio skills on the first track of the EP, “Activate,” which has a lot of electric energy. Along with striking synth stabs and futuristic vocal samples, they make a rumbling groove that is hard to ignore.

The last song on the EP is called “Activate Reality.” Its hypnotic melodies, cinematic synths, and ethereal, futuristic vocal line create a beautiful, dystopian experience for listeners.
The “Activate Reality” EP is a collection of all the strange things that happen in the world. There were fusions of styles and sounds that came together in such a unique way that these tracks are almost devoid of genre. These songs have a lot of energy on their own, but when they’re all together, it’s really something special. It’s been great to work with Hood Poli LEGEND Stund. I’m really proud of this EP. It’s also my 20th release on Hood Politics! The world’s best record label. – Sherm

In the short time he has been working, Sherm has established himself as a strong figure in Chicago and beyond.
He started one of the biggest electronic music podcasts from scratch, called Sherm In The Booth.
He also hosted the “Tech/House Boom in the US: What’s In It for You?” panel at ADE in 2023.
His DJing and music skills have earned him bookings at high-profile events like Lollapalloza’s afterparty with Acraze and direct support for Armin Van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Zedd, and many more.
