Satorious & Saint Daniel Release Melancholy Marvel ‘Lift Me Up’

House is often a source of joy but that’s not to say that it’s a genre that never delves into darker emotions. Satorius & Saint Daniel have brought that diversity in emotion to the genre with their new track ‘Lift Me Up’ that tackles one of the hardest things anyone can ever go through. Saying goodbye.

‘Lift Me Up’ is an astonishing combination of immaculate production, delightful songwriting, and beautiful vocals reminiscent of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Summertime Sadness.’ While excellent in production, the story told in the track is rather more bleak as it’s about a father unconscious in hospital, saying goodbye to his wife and children. The idea came to Satorius while working as an ICU nurse watching that situation unfold and wondering what that father might say. For so many those final words may never be spoken, but ‘Lift Me Up’ gives a voice to those that are gone and will perhaps provide comfort to people who have lost loved ones.

There’s more in the works from Satorius with a new track ‘Kings & Queens’ lined up for release soon which offers a completely different musical direction entering the realms of pop rock. Once again collaborating with Saint Daniel, as well as Australian singer, Texture Like Sun, ‘Kings & Queens’ has a very soulful trajectory for fans to look forward to.

With plenty more music in production and more collaborations planned, Satorius has a great deal on his plate to be served out to the world. His knack for creating songs rich in emotion and elegance is particularly evident in ‘Lift Me Up’ and is an exciting precursor to his upcoming projects.
