Luci's new era is here.
The EDM.com Class of 2021 inductee has released a new single, "Drugs," marking her debut on Seven Lions' Ophelia Records imprint. After embracing a more pop-leaning sound on last year's debut album, the track finds Luci jumping back into her bass music roots.
Her ethereal vocals fuse effortlessly with her glitchy production, cultivating a rich soundscape rife with of whirling synths and powerful bass. Luci's lyrics this time around are heartfelt and touching, describing how intoxicating love can be by comparing it to a drug as she looks to maintain the high.
"Drugs" arrives alongside an enchanting music video that further pushes the love-stricken narrative Luci has masterfully captured. The video sees her and her co-star frolicking through a field while the scene switches to a color-drenched room and balcony throughout.
