Sebastian Ingrosso

The waiting is over! The Swedish House Mafia maestro Sebastian Ingrosso has at last revealed his much-awaited solo effort. Legendary tastemaker Pete Tong just revealed the bombshell on his BBC Radio 1 show, introducing Ingrosso’s new tune, “Flood.”

Flood” is a masterclass in atmospheric production. The tune commences with a dramatic and dreamy breakdown that grabs the listener right away. It carries them to a sonic environment both known and shockingly novel.

Notes of the Past, Whispers of the Future

Flood” marks a fresh chapter in Ingrosso’s career, yet it does not entirely forsow his roots. The increasing arpeggio in the breakdown reminds one of the famous “We Come, We Rave, We Love.” But this time around Ingrosso has created a more natural and organic impression, therefore highlighting his artistic development.

The track gains depth and passion with the chorus’s vocal inclusion. It’s the ideal balance to the rich instrumentation to produce a strong synergy that will appeal to both old and new listeners.

Ingrosso swings a curveball just when you believe you have “Flood” under control. The second drop is an appealing, down-tempo glitchy beat that will get throngs moving. This surprising turn shows Ingrosso’s eagerness to challenge limits and play about with his sound.

What now?

All eyes are now on Sebastian Ingrosso as “Flood” ripples across the radio. Will this constitute a component of more general body of work? In not too distant future, might we anticipate more tracks challenging genres?

One thing is for sure: Sebastian Ingrosso’s new musical path starts off explosive.
