A Standout Year for Insomniac

The Insomniac Music Group’s successes aren’t limited to the main imprint – while Insomniac Records was home to 449 releases this year, the powerhouse label had 721 total tracks across all their imprints, with 620 artists released. Some of those highlights include Boys Noize’s ‘FVKVRVND’ on HARD Records, INFEKT’s Back To Back EP on Bassrush Records, Miss Monique’s ‘Look at You’ on Interstellar Recordings, Eli Brown and Lily Palmer’s Gasoline‘ on Factory93, and more.

In addition to music releases, IMG also launched Insomniac Publishing, its internal publishing vertical, which was revealed alongside the opening of its brand-new Insomniac Studios at the company’s headquarters.

Insomniac Records hosted festival stages at its flagship events, including EDC Las Vegas, Beyond Wonderland (SoCal, Chicago, PNW), EDC Orlando, EDC Mexico, EDSea, Escape Halloween, Countdown, and Project Glow. Additionally, it produced branded shows: Noizu in NYC, Noizu x Max Styler in Hawaii, the Miami Music Week showcase at Nautilus, ADE at W Hotel, Night Trip, and Odd Mob at the Hollywood Palladium.

Additional noteworthy milestones include launching new branded labels: Interstellar Recordings and Break Room Records.
