[GrooveCartel] MORTEN returns to Insomniac Records with “Portrait”

Denmark-born, LA-based producer MORTEN returns to Insomniac Records with his sophomore single, “Portrait.”

This melodic house and techno gem is a masterclass in building stress and letting it go. It’s meant to light up dance floors and capture people’s hearts. At the start of the track, there is an eerie, hypnotic pull. Suspenseful spoken-word sounds ripple through the mix, drawing people into its dark depths. After a while, loud, zippy basslines come in like a storm breaking, putting energy through every beat like shockwaves.

MORTEN will be on tour soon at EDC Las Vegas, EDC Korea, A Day in the Park, Escapade Festival, Electric Mountain, and as support for ARTBAT at their Upperground performance at Brooklyn Mirage.
