[GrooveCartel] Cassian presents “Where I’m From” with SCRIPT and Belladonna

Cassian releases “Where I’m From” on Three Six Zero Recordings. This collaboration goes beyond sound to become a statement of artistic purpose.

“Where I’m From” is Cassian‘s first original song since 2025, but it’s also a statement about his art. The track was made with SCRIPT (also from Afterlife Records) and Belladonna. It’s a tapestry of complicated melodies and cinematic emotion that pulses with an energy that you can almost feel. The music makes spaces within spaces so that listeners can get lost in layers of sound that are both comforting and challenging.

The release comes at a turning point in Cassian’s career. Cassian has shown that he is more than just a producer. He was the music director for Anyma’s groundbreaking End of Genesys residency at the Las Vegas Sphere, which was probably the most technologically advanced concert experience ever made.

His engineering skills can be heard all over modern electronic music, from the crystal clear sound that cuts through festival systems to the emotional depth that elevates songs from simple dance music to transcendent experiences. Cassian has been an inspiration and mentor of mine for so long it’s really exciting to finally get a track out with him. He’s the first person to spin ‘On The Low’ last year which was my biggest track to date so it’s very full circle to come back a year later and put out one of our most requested and supported IDs.   — SCRIPT

Cassian worked closely with Anyma and didn’t just mix audio elements; he shaped them into a seamless sound journey that went well with the venue’s unmatched visual powers. As direct support for the residency’s last show on March 2, he showed that he could turn technical brilliance into a real emotional link with an audience.
