Sunday May 18th 2025 was the opening weekend at the largest outdoor beachclub in North America and #1 club in Canada. David Guetta ignited the crowd by opening with ‘I’m Good’ and in that very moment the crowd knew no matter how cold and rainy the day is they were going to have a good time.
David Guetta made his return to Quebec for a second year in a row and turned a gloomy 9°C Sunday into an unforgettable kickoff to the season.
Despite borderline hypothermic temperatures causing some in the crowd to have blue lips from braving the cold, many still proudly carried the famous Beachclub pitcher which is filled to the brim with their iconic BeachDay Everyday drinks (even if it meant shivering between sips). If ravers were not drinking, dancing, purchasing a poncho or eating the delicious Quebec speciality meal the beloved poutine they could have been enjoying a side quest at the Red bull activation.
This activation set had attendees speedely trying to change one tire of an F1 car. This was a fun change in activation compared to previous years of the red bull “bull riding”
In Guetta’s own words, “C’est surtout la vibe qui était folle quoi. C’est les gens à chaque endroit, c’est les gens qui font la magie. Je m’étais éclaté donc je reviens.” Translation? “The vibe was crazy. It’s the people in every place—they create the magic. I had a blast, so I’m coming back.”
With a strong start like this, it’s hard not to wonder: if Beachclub returns for another season since the 2024 season was set to be the last. If there is a 2026 season will Guetta grace their legendary stage once again?
