Where is the oldest nightclub in Europe: Barcelona

Located on the border of Sant Antoni and Raval, the 1,000-capacity club has already welcomed Francois K, Gilles Peterson, David Rodigan, Branko, Adrian Sherwood, Ge-Ology, Sadar Bahar and a host of other names this year.

The 1,000-capacity club is a work of art, dating from 1903. It features a perfectly symmetrical interior maintained carefully since 1919, in a rich red and gold baroque style. It also includes unreserved booth seating available at the dancefloor level and on the upstairs balcony floor.

The club was previously closed for some years but has become a welcome re-addition to Barcelona’s nightlife since undergoing a phased re-opening across the last 18 months.
