On June 7, the world’s most theatrical party crew launched elrow 2.0, a new chapter that collided rave energy with storytelling, digital worlds, and large-scale art at [UNVRS], Ibiza’s newest and most talked-about venue. More than a party, this was a full-on theatrical production with a beat, crafted to blur the boundaries between real life and dreamstate. From acrobats to 360º visuals, the new Nowmads show from elrow at [UNVRS] redefines what an Ibiza rave can be in 2025.
The launch was the first of 18 Saturday nights that promise to reshape the island’s nightlife expectations from the floor up.
A New Temple for Chaos, Built by the Masters of Immersion
[UNVRS] isn’t just another Ibiza superclub. It’s the first venue in years that feels like a true creative risk. Dreamed up by Yann Pissenem and the team behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, this new playground doesn’t follow the Ibiza blueprint—it obliterates it. Described as part club, part sculpture, part dream, the venue’s architecture and next-gen sound tech were built with artistic immersion in mind. elrow 2.0 took full advantage of that canvas. With massive kinetic sculptures, surreal set pieces, 360º visuals, and a cast of over 100 performers in 200 custom-made costumes, the space felt alive, unpredictable, and otherworldly.
At the heart of this season’s concept is Nowmads: New World, an original theme from elrow’s in-house design team. Inspired by tribal futurism, multidimensional cultures, and imagined landscapes, the show transformed [UNVRS] into a living, shifting multiverse. Giant wheels rotated overhead, acrobats descended from the rafters, and sci-fi creatures emerged from behind towering columns of LED light. Every direction offered a different layer of the story, with clubbers not just watching, but participating. This wasn’t set dressing—it was a full ecosystem where the audience became the final performer.
Elrow 2.0 brings Nowmads to UNVRS from Techno to Time Travel
The music never took a back seat, even with the visuals dialed up to eleven. The night’s soundtrack was as meticulously choreographed as the stage show, with each artist feeding the night’s transformation. Bastian Bux opened with layered tension and groove, crafting a world that built suspense rather than demanding instant drops. Franky Rizardo and Kölsch leaned into deeper cuts with melodic complexity, guiding dancers through mood shifts and mental space travel. Ilario Alicante, closing the night, unleashed an emotional, high-energy set that brought the crowd back to earth in a collective rush of connection and release.
Rather than overshadowing the music, elrow 2.0’s theatrics amplified it. The chaos in the air matched the rhythm on the floor, and the synergy between sound and spectacle created a feedback loop few parties can achieve. Unlike other concept events that separate DJ from theme, here everything moved together. You could feel it in the crowd’s movement—something rare and difficult to fake.
What’s Coming: 18 Weeks of Imagination, Soundtracking a Multiversal Rave
This wasn’t a one-night experiment. elrow’s takeover at [UNVRS] continues every Saturday until October 4, each with a different theme from a global roster of visual artists. Alongside Nowmads: New World, guests can expect Neo Kaos Garden from Okuda San Miguel, Hallucinarium by Alex and Allyson Grey, and a secret fourth concept still under wraps. Each show aims to push the envelope even further, with immersive storytelling and interactive performance taking center stage.
