Well, a few months ago Universal Music Group heard it and reached out to him to make it happen and today, we see its release. His remix amplifies the 2006 song’s energy, adding a cinematic and expansive feel. This remix is also part of a series celebrating Women’s History Month, with Furtado releasing remixes of her hit songs by various female and male producers.

The remix provides a modern, energetic, and cinematic take on the original’s atmospheric and hypnotic quality. “I checked the project file…I made this thing two and half years ago just on some random day because I wanted to try remixing it. And I wanted to have it in my set. It’s honestly insane to think that it’s actually become an official remix. I’m so excited, I guess the moral of the story is if you truly believe in a song, keep pushing it, keep working on it. Just don’t give up on it. You know good things will happen if the idea is good enough. So yeah, I’m so stoked!”
