[EDM.com] Tiësto Is Performing a Special "In Search of Sunrise" Set to Close 2025 EDC Las Vegas Festival

Tiësto is turning back time at EDC Las Vegas 2025. 

According to a new teaser trailer from the superstar DJ, Tiësto on Sunday, May 18th will take over the festival's kineticFIELD stage at at 4:13AM for a set that has longtime trance music fans buzzing. Announcing the news with a nostalgic teaser video, the Dutch dance music icon confirmed that this performance will be an "In Search of Sunrise" set—his first in years. 

Tiësto's "In Search of Sunrise" series began in 1999, setting a new standard for trance mix compilations. The first seven installments, all mixed by Tiësto, became iconic for blending deep, atmospheric soundscapes with seamless transitions that captured the magic of dawn. Several of the original releases reflected unique geographic locations, further embodying the globally unifying spirit of dance music across borders.

Tiësto's upcoming set is just one of many monumental moments and updates planned for EDC Las Vegas 2025, one of the world's largest EDM festivals. This year’s event will introduce a new theme, "kineticMETROPOLIS," which Insomniac is calling "a city built on sound."

With 16 stages, including the brand-new Ubuntu stage celebrating Afro-house music and a redesigned quantumVALLEY for trance fans, EDC 2025 is pushing the boundaries of production and curation simultaneously once again. This year's lineup features over 250 artists, including Martin Garrix, Charlotte de Witte, ILLENIUM, Rezz, Gesaffelstein and many more.

EDC Las Vegas 2025 is scheduled for May 16-18 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Tickets are sold out.
