[EDM House Network] FREDRYD Releases ‘Can We Stop Being Estranged?’, A New Dance-Pop Track About Acceptance

For his second release of 2025, FREDRYD releases ‘Can We Stop Being Estranged to Each Other?’, a production that blends house and pop music and carries a powerful message about moving from estrangement to friendship through acceptance. Influenced by the sounds of David Guetta & Bebe Rexha’s I’’m Good (Blue)’ and Eric Prydz’s ‘Call On Me’, the track combines an energetic beat with emotional depth. The production process involved purchasing a beat sample from Fahrenheit on Bandlab and blending it into a house-infused dance-pop mix. The song features vocals from anonymous male and female singers sourced from a soundpack, adding a dynamic contrast that enhances its uplifting theme.

The lyrics convey a strong message of inclusion, opening with the male singer’s words, “Just a stranger in this town, trying to find my place but I just make mistakes,” followed by the female vocalist’s plea, “Don’t let me drown, cause it’s deep below.” These lines emphasize the importance of support and understanding rather than exclusion. The track marks a new creative direction, as it is the first fully upbeat production of its kind from this artist. Looking ahead, a feminist EP is set for release in March, followed by a second album expected to drop before summer. With anthems of empowerment and connection, this artist continues to push boundaries in dance-pop music.
