Audrey Nuna has unveiled a remix bundle for her single “Mine,” featuring two distinct, dancefloor-ready versions. Released via Arista Records, the remixes see Audrey collaborating with DASH to reimagine her 2024 track, which itself is a modern take on Brandy and Monica’s 1998 R&B classic, “The Boy Is Mine.”
In the DASH remix, the song ventures into darker, trance-heavy territory. Audrey’s vocals are transformed into an otherworldly experience, layered over deep basslines and shadowy textures. Audrey expressed her excitement about this new interpretation, stating, “Hearing ‘Mine’ within such a different sonic palette with DASH’s surreal, dark remix has been energizing. The remix brings such newness to the song, and it’s been a fascinating experience for me to hear the process of it coming to life.”
This release follows Audrey Nuna’s sophomore album, “TRENCH,” an ambitious project that blends elements of pop, R&B, and experimental trap. As for DASH, the enigmatic producer remains shrouded in mystery, with rumors ranging from being an algorithm to a collective of behind-the-scenes producers. Regardless of the identity, the “Mine” remix showcases a unique manipulation of sound that challenges conventional boundaries.
