American powerhouse Cole Knight has revealed her latest work, “Going Higher.”Following Knight’s hit EP “Freak” from November 2024, this hypnotic house anthem, released on January 10th, represents her first annual offering.

Going Higher” delivers an addictive mix of pulsing house rhythms and painstakingly produced electronic production, living up to its name. The music’s basis is a persistent four-on-the-floor pulse blended with whirling synths to produce an immersive auditory environment. Knight’s unique vocals meld with the instrumental to provide the mechanical accuracy of the song’s human touch.

This record distinguishes itself in part by Knight’s ability to bridge the gap between American and European electronic sensibilities. Knight offers a different viewpoint on her production, having cut her teeth in the US club scene before sailing across the Atlantic. The end result is a track that seems just as natural in a crowded London warehouse as it would at a Miami beach club.

The output on “Going Higher” highlights Knight’s artistic development. Her “Freak” EP proved her to be a force to be reckoned with, but this most recent track shows fresh confidence in her sound design. While the well-programmed drum rhythms keep dancers tightly locked in the groove, the complex layering of synthesizer arpeggios generates a sense of endless motion.

Now accessible on all main digital streaming platforms, the track is poised to infuse dancefloors and playlists all around with its contagious vitality.
