Calibur, the Los Angeles based producer, returns with new single ‘Postman,’ catching the ears of house music enthusiast all over the world.
Calibur combines Nu Disco and Bass House, ‘Postman’ is a funky track that gets people’s grooves on right from the beginning.
Sampling Levity’s famous song, its vocals and lyrics are repetitive but catchy, and in combination with the polished production create a record that sets the tone on every dancefloor.
One element that stands out in ‘Postman’ is the bass, which is punchy and tingles your eardrum at every drop.
It is then followed by the breakdown, which maintains a good amount of energy in the record, with playful drum patterns that keep listeners on their feet.
Calibur’s idea to fuse Nu Disco and modern bass feels fresh and brings a colourful aspect to a gritty low-end energy bass house record.
The production is a total switch from the original dubstep track released by Levity, but one that deserves attention just as much.
‘Postman’ is Calibur’s first release of 2025 and marks the artist’s return after a hiatus of 2 years from publishing music.
Listen to ‘Postman’ by Calibur on YouTube and Soundcloud, now available worldwide.
